my really quick immediate post game thoughts are:

cal and merrin's jedha love theme. inject that love theme into my veins STAT

the combat is SUPER enjoyable, i love the lightsaber stances, they are all really fun in their own unique way.

difficulty wise, i found it kind of unbalanced. played most of the game on jedi master, and enemy crowds got REALLY tough sometimes (flashbacks to getting headbutted to death by the rawkas lmfao), bode was a good final boss, wildlife bosses were pretty hard/required turning down the difficulty (OGGDO), while most main story bosses only took me 2-3 tries.

high republic side of things felt underdeveloped overall. they were def going for a parallel with bode (and cal) and dagan with their respective obsessions, and with both stories ending in tragedy as bode and dagan fail to turn themselves around. however i found dagan to be too much of a mustache twirling villain who died a little too quickly, even though the force echos and holo-recordings suggest at a more complex relationship between dagan and santari. but the way or depth at which it was explored fell a tad short for me, though i can see what they were going for.

because the high republic stuff felt a little empty to me, i don't think the story truly grabbed me until the last... 30% maybe? aka starting from bode's betrayal.

i unfortunately was spoiled on quite a few big things (cere dying to vader, bode's betrayal and being a jedi) but i did NOT even THINK that cal and merrin would actually kill bode. was genuinely thinking even up to the last second that he'd either kill himself or somehow die sacrificing himself. yes i gasped out loud!! this whole plot point deserves its own post because it is still marinating in my brain lmao

i'd still rank JFO as the better game, it's a tighter/more cohesive story, but i think SWJS is a worthy sequel and i'm really interested in the third (and presumably final?) game

THE FACT THEY GAVE US DOMINIK IN THE WRONG TIME PERIOD AND CHANGED HIS SPEACH.

Like, in the books it is supposed to be a part of nikolai backstory that highlights the sacrifices of a king, that remind him rawka is a godforsaken country that takes over and over again, that stripes you of everything and showcases no marcy. I hope I remember it correctly. I am hello sure tho Dominic didn't tell him he would be a good king.
