#refuting error
Quote
Once upon a time, there were courageous men who stood against error with the Word of God. But today, we have men who are trading their swords for sticks. Today, in the evangelical world, we have little boys playing games rather than men who are preparing to go to war.

okay first of all hiiii genshin community this is my first ever fic for the fandom and i’ve only been playing for about a month and a half TT although i am already at AR 50, so i’m decently confident in writing this.
this is taking place in a self aware genshin alternate universe where the reader has been accused of being an imposter; aka imposter!au. contains fontaine characters >:3
btw. while i am in fontaine’s archon quest, i know little about wrio… and the fortress of meropide, so i took some liberties. and i’m not a lawyer or anything so. expect errors.
600+ Words.
You don’t think this is how prisoners should be treated, what with the heavy white iron shackles, tightly welded around your ankles, wrists, neck, and midriff. It’s excessive, really. Nameless guards and Wriothesley himself escort you to the opera house where your trial shall be held.
As you’re dragged along, you pass hordes of not just Fontaine’s citizens, but international crowds have gathered to see you fall.
You don’t have much hope.
The accusations against you are… grim, it seems. Stealing the face and body of the divine, what is that even supposed to mean? This is your body, how you’ve always been. You can’t even imagine what sort of divine being would sentence someone to… death(?) for simply bearing a striking resemblance to them. The court shall see.
You’d been so excited to see these characters, especially the beautiful Fontainians, but now as you catch sight of Neuvillette, nothing but bitter fear and dread fill you.
Those eyes; gray, blue, purple, undoubtedly gorgeous, are serious, befitting the Iudex. Though you never thought you would be surveyed under them.
“Order in the court.” Neuvillette calls out as the packed audience quiets down from their excited buzz. Furina holds a hand over her chest dramatically, waltzing to the edge of her balcony.
“Will the prosecution please state the reasons behind today’s trial? Lady Furina?” Neuvillette prompts the lady.
“Indeed.” She agrees grandly. “The guilty—!”
“Accused.” Neuvillette interjects.
“Accused,” Furina repeats. “Is charged with attempting to infiltrate the rightful spot of the Creator, a grave sin.”
The crowd boos.
“Don’t worry, my dear citizens and travelers from afar, we will see justice delivered to this sinner!”
“Order.” Neuvillette calls and the crowd hushes. “Will the prosecution present evidence to support their claim?”
“Look at them, Monsieur Neuvillette! The whole room can clearly see that they have crafted themself a mirror image of our true god!” The room rumbles in agreement. Your brow knits with worry, unsure of how (if) you’ll get out of this situation.
Neuvillette turn his gaze solely onto you, looking down from his seat as judge. A few moments of his scrutiny pass. “Defendant, can you refute these claims?”
You try.
“I don’t know what’s going on. I swear on my life, I haven’t intended to offend anyone, this is just how I look. No one will call me by my name—.”
“Boo!” Lady Furina calls from her seat, hushing when Neuvillette sends a sharp look her way.
“—I will admit I’m not from this world, but I don’t know how to explain any of that. I haven’t meant to do any harm.” You look to the crowd. “I’m sorry.”
The Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale shifts, one of the weights pulling down, you aren’t sure if it’s in your favor, and doubt it is.
“Is that all from the defendant?” It is. No lawyer would dare represent you, not even a public defense attorney.
“We turn to the judgment of the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale to give us the results of this trial.” With his words the machine rumbles and the sides of the scale quickly move up and down. It settle in the middle and a slip of paper slides out.
“Our defendant is…” the room simultaneously brings in a breath of air. Neuvillette’s voice chokes up. “Innocent.”
“No!” “Impossible!” “Fraudulent!”
“Oh, give me a break.” You moan at the reactions.
Lady Furina, narrows her eyes at you. “Let us settle this with a duel!”
The guards that led you here begin gathering your chains and you panic.
“Wait! Please!” You cry out one last desperate attempt. Neuvillette pauses, looking at you from the side of his eye. The hand holding the oratrice’s results stills.
“Do the words Genshin Impact mean anything to you?”

During Nuremberg Trial testimony, the prosecutor pressed Einsatzgruppen commander Otto Ohlendorf: “You were going out to shoot down defenseless people. Now, didn’t the question of the morality of that enter your mind?” Ohlendorf referred to the Allied bombings of Germany as a context:
I am not in a position to isolate this occurrence from the occurrences of 1943, 1944, and 1945 where with my own hands I took children and women out of the burning asphalt myself, and with my own hands I took big blocks of stone from the stomachs of pregnant women; and with my own eyes I saw 60,000 people die within 24 hours.
A judge immediately pointed out that his own killing spree preceded those bombings. But this would become known as the “Dresden defense,” to which Ohlendorf resorted still another time, in this exchange:
Ohlendorf: I have seen very many children killed in this war through air attacks, for the security of other nations, and orders were carried out to bomb, no matter whether many children were killed or not. Q: Now, I think we are getting somewhere, Mr. Ohlendorf. You saw German children killed by Allied bombers and that is what you are referring to? Ohlendorf: Yes, I have seen it. Q: Do you attempt to draw a moral comparison between the bomber who drops bombs hoping that it will not kill children and yourself who shot children deliberately? Is that a fair moral comparison ? Ohlendorf: I cannot imagine that those planes which systematically covered a city that was a fortified city, square meter for square meter, with incendiaries and explosive bombs and again with phosphorus bombs, and this done from block to block, and then as I have seen it in Dresden likewise the squares where the civilian population had fled to—that these men could possibly hope not to kill any civilian population, and no children.
Ohlendorf thought this defense so powerful that he invoked it yet another time:
The fact that individual men killed civilians face to face is looked upon as terrible and is pictured as specially gruesome because the order was clearly given to kill these people; but I cannot morally evaluate a deed any better, a deed which makes it possible, by pushing a button, to kill a much larger number of civilians, men, women, and children.
(The chief prosecutor, an American, called this particular iteration “exactly what a fanatical pseudo-intellectual SS-man might well believe.”)
At Nuremberg, this sort of tu quoque defense (“I shouldn’t be punished because they did it too”) wasn’t admissible. Still, in the verdict of the Einsatzgruppen Trial, the judges chose to refute it. “It was submitted,” the judges wrote, “that the defendants must be exonerated from the charge of killing civilian populations since every Allied nation brought about the death of noncombatants through the instrumentality of bombing.” The judges would have none of it:
A city is bombed for tactical purposes… it inevitably happens that nonmilitary persons are killed. This is an incident, a grave incident to be sure, but an unavoidable corollary of battle action. The civilians are not individualized. The bomb falls, it is aimed at the railroad yards, houses along the tracks are hit and many of their occupants killed. But that is entirely different, both in fact and in law, from an armed force marching up to these same railroad tracks, entering those houses abutting thereon, dragging out the men, women and children and shooting them.
The tribunal sentenced Ohlendorf to death. He was hanged in June 1951.
“In the last analysis”
Nuremberg enforced a fundamental distinction. All civilian lives are equal, but not so all ways of taking them. The deliberate and purposeful killing of civilians is a crime; not so the taking of civilian lives that is undesired, unintended, but unavoidable. The errors made by a bomber squadron cannot be deducted from the murders committed by a death squad. It’s a difference compounded many times over when those civilian men, women, and children are subjected to torture, rape, and mutilation before their murder. To borrow Khalidi’s phrase, “in the last analysis,” this distinction is what separates modern civilization from its predecessors.
More disturbing is the thought that it separates the contemporary West from its peers. Otto Ohlendorf and the regime he served did all they could to conceal their deeds from Western eyes. Nazi Germany still operated in a West founded on Enlightenment values. So massive a violation of a shared patrimony needed to be hidden from view.
In contrast, Hamas initially sought to publicize its deeds, assuming they would win applause, admiration, or at least tacit acceptance in the Arab and Muslim worlds. Here they succeeded beyond their expectations. The many millions who don’t share the West’s patrimony, and who know next to nothing about the Holocaust or Nuremberg, do see things as Khalidi says they see them. (So, too, does a sliver of alienated opinion in the West, where such views are cultivated and celebrated.)
Finally, and still more disturbing, is the fact that Ohlendorf’s defense has been revived to frame the massacre of Jews.

relationship hcs ; astarion
Tumblr media
requested by ; mod / self indulgent
fandom(s) ; baldur’s gate 3
fandom masterlist(s) ; here
character(s) ; astarion ancunin
outline ; “dating headcanons for astarion”
note ; i have never played this game and am going completely off of the clips and guide videos i’ve been watching pretty much nonstop for the past week so apologies if my characterisation is at all shaky in this piece
warning(s) ; brief references to canon torture, self worth struggles, and other related angst — but otherwise mostly fluff!
when it comes to being in a relationship with you — a real relationship, that is, and not the act he was putting on to try and manipulate you at the start of your journey as a group — astarion is, for lack of a better analogy, very much so a fish out of water
and, thankfully, that’s not something he’s ashamed or scared to admit to you, so the early days of your relationship are filled with a lot of trial and error as you navigate your new dynamic and he adjusts to being permitted to make his own decisions and set his own boundaries
some things definitely come easier than others for him — namely verbal shows of affection like using pet names for you or being playful or flirty whenever you’re together; things that are more instinct than anything else, but no less genuine in their use
as one might expect, astarion does also use quite the variety of pet names for you — to the extent that your friends have a running joke about him not actually knowing what your real name is (which he always refutes with about as much sass as one might expect) — with his main terms of endearment being ones that he settled into using early on like ‘darling’, ‘beautiful’ (or ‘handsome’ if that is your preferred term), ‘my dear’, and, when he’s being a bit of a tease, ‘my little treat’
actual physical intimacy, however, is a much different story given his rather unfortunate history with his body and how he was forced to use it by his tormentor
of course he knows that you’re different, that you’re not like cazador or his ilk, but that doesn’t make those old habits any easier to break, nor two hundred years of trauma easier to shake from his mind — love and patience can only go so far, after all, and those memories and their effects on him won’t just vanish overnight
so, naturally, that means that adjusting to physical touch unrelated to sex is a very slow process for him — though he’s thankful to have you there with him throughout
there are a few things that he learns he really quite enjoys and makes that abundantly clear to you when you’re together: kisses, gentle touches to the hand, and hugs, mainly
oh and his kisses are truly marvellous once you help him accept intimacy unconnected to sex — they’re soft and sweet but no less passionate for it, starting off with a brief peck before he turns his head and gently (oh so gently) grasps your chin or cheek or neck and pulls you closer to him, almost as if you’re melting into each other as the kiss either deepens or makes way for a string of chaste pecks before you eventually pull apart for whatever reason
he also always makes sure to sooth any places he’s bitten with some apologetic kisses once he’s had his fill (as well as plenty of compliments on your person and about your blood)
his other favourite places to kiss you are either on your hands or wrists (the gentleman that he is): the insides of your wrists, the tips of your fingers, each of your knuckles in sequence, the backs of your hands, your palms when you cup his face in your hands — truly the list is endless and he delights in finding new ways to fluster you and make you smile
shit talking and gossipping amongst yourselves is extremely common and astarion has mastered the art of saying just the right thing about someone he doesn’t like just loud enough for you to hear at the perfect time to make you laugh (or try your best to cover said laugh if you’re currently talking to the subject of said shit talking)
when it comes to sleeping arrangements, astarion just loves being held (but not too tightly so he still has the freedom to get up and walk away for whatever reason if he needs to), but the specifics of the position don’t really matter to him — he’s just as happy to have you laying on his chest, or him on yours if you’re larger than him, as he is to cuddle you on his side (though he does secretly prefer to either be the little spoon or to have his face level with your chest when you’re both on your sides as it makes him feel safer, though it will take him a long time to ever even consider admitting to that)
he is naturally very protective of you and has been known to pull a dagger on anyone he deems as a threat to you — which is very beneficial in combat scenarios or situations where you are actually at risk, but a bit inconvenient when you’re trying not to draw any attention to yourselves and the issue is just some drunk that can’t keep quiet (still not good and something that should be called out, but perhaps not worth having to leave the town you just got to early as to avoid getting charged with yet another crime)
he doesn’t quite know what to do with himself whenever you’re unwell for whatever reason (especially if it’s something a healer can’t contend with) because it’s been centuries since he’s experienced any sort of illness so he can’t even really empathise with you about your situation — he tries his best, of course, but it’s easy to tell that he’s really out of his depth
no matter how long the two of you have been together, astarion still melts whenever you ask his permission to do the smallest of things (like asking if you can kiss him or hold his hand, for example) — but he melts even more when you accept when he declines for whatever reason becaus the novelty of being respected and loved without expectation or conditions never really wears off for him and he appreciates it all just as much as he did the first time

Now on to the real news.
Everyone probably already realized that my posts are fakes. I did not publish the actual script and had no such intention. I respect the copyright and don't want to be sued by HBO.
I have questions for you guys. Why do you believe the person who leaks the “script” to you for a month, but don’t believe the person who leaked the script for one day? and don’t tell me that there are typos and errors in my posts (don’t forget about T9). this already looks like double standards😁
okay, you don’t have to believe me, but why do you believe @darksvster? on what basis? because she said “I was in the LA library and copied everything myself”? Is there any proof to her words? Why do you take her word for it, but not the other person? Why does she refute my posts, but does not prove in any way that she has “correct script”? why can't she post her "correct versions" of the scenes and prove to the audience that she really was in that library and read everything?
smells like a lie) she can’t prove she was there. she can't post the "right" scenes. just look at her script! it looks like Daemyra’s stan fanfic! Screenwriters don't write such deep character descriptions because most of them can't be conveyed through the actors' facial expressions. the script is action-oriented. just read her “correct” posts and then you will see that she made it up, just as I did.
oh and yes. I want to say that you cannot post the real script on any resources (this is written on the library’s website itself, and in the official script for the first episode, which is made publicly available). HBO can sue a person for posting copyrighted content. Now draw your own conclusions. @darksvster has been publishing the script for over a month now, but HBO has yet to respond to it. does that mean she is posting fake excerpts? Obviously) think about it before you believe anyone🤣
To those people who really believed me and thanked me for my work, I want to apologize. I'm very sorry that I made you believe me. but I wanted to open your eyes to the truth.

Hey so you know how in the Izuru-Fuyuhiko conversation, Izuru assumes Fuyuhiko intends to use Izuru for his talents? And Fuyuhiko refutes that like right away. Based on the recent art you made, do you have any thoughts on Izuru making himself useful (as a meat shield apparently) anyway? Izuru usefulness complex vs. Fuyuhiko 'people arent tools' complex or something like that? Sorry if this is a strange ask to get out of the blue haha I am interested in the narrative.
Ok so this is a FANTASTIC question and it took all my restraint not to send back an entire essay lmao💛💛💛 (correction^ I wrote 544 words of this so, maybe a LITTLE bit of an essay)
So, here are my thoughts on Izuru and Fuyuhiko's potential relationship in DRS:US:
I feel like the reason that Izuru may in fact stay with Fuyuhiko in this scenario (I mean, he outright says that if he were told to be free without orders he would probably just disappear overseas and cut contact,) is Fuyuhuko’s resolve not to use Izuru for his talents. I think that, in one way or another, this wont sit right with Izuru, who can easily reason out the fact that he’s a passive force until acted upon, and if acted upon (or used) for the good of humanity, that would have an overall better net benefit to the world than valuing his independence and letting his talents go to waste. As little as Izuru seems to care about anything, the thought process behind letting him do whatever he wants and not like, idk, make him cure cancer, is an absolutely atrocious error in judgement and has to be the fault of some under-developed moral code of Fuyuhuko’s. I think this intrigue is part of why Izuru would want to stay with Fuyuhuko: to see how long it will take for Fuyu, given ample opportunity, to abandon his personal code and start using Izuru (weather for humanity’s benefit or his own).
Note: I also think this is why Izuru would “make himself useful” (like the meat shield incident). By showing how much he could benefit Fuyuhiko when his talents are used, he’s subtly testing his resolve to keep refraining from doing so.
On the FLIP side we have Fuyuhiko, who’s honestly got a point. He’s definitely not thinking of it in the same big moral strokes that Izuru is, but he is thinking of the basic gist of it: What should you value more, a person’s freedom or the good they can do? In his (learned) opinion, the value a person’s life has and the potential they have for good aren’t exclusive, but that person needs to do the good on their own for it to have meaning. His relationship with Peko comes to mind hard here as someone who has been given a role and carried it out perfectly, denying their own free will in the process. Fuyu doesn’t go through the same lesson in the same way as DR2, but it’s clear that he’s coming to similar conclusions about valuing Peko’s free will in their DRUS interactions. I feel like, similarly, Fuyu would just want Izuru to start giving a damn about being used by people and stop treating himself like a means to an end.
So, does this turn into a genuine friendship? Something more?... Maybe??? I see a lot of interpretations of Izuru’s character were he’s an unfeeling machine, which I personally really dislike. I mean, the man has enough emotion to be bored by being unable to be surprised by anything anymore. He does Cry, even if he doesn’t know why. In my eyes, Izuru is mentally incredibly developed, but emotionally underdeveloped because of his emphasis on learning and usefulness since his ‘creation’. So, these two’s relationship is both ambiguous and up for interpretation, but I do think it has room for Izuru to come to understand Fuyuhuko’s thinking and maybe even start caring for him eventually. Honestly it’s all up to your personal interpretation of Izuru’s character!
But yea, those are just my thoughts! Let me know Your own interpretation!! I love these characters and always wanna hear other people's thoughts on them!!! 💛

kinda fucked up for you to see a gender non conforming woman (samsus) and automatically make them trans. you get what i mean about how thats just reinforcing gender stereotypes (that cis women are feminine and would never commit genocide even a little while transwomen would do masculine evil things like shoot gun (because they’ve kept their man vibes) or whatever
yeah
I can’t tell if this is like a shitpost or a really poorly worded commentary because I have no idea who you are. Frankly I would normally assume the worst block you, buuuuut since I like talking about it I’d love to explain why Samus Aran is extremely transgender.
Tbh I am still tempted to block you but the terrible grammar, spelling error, and nonsensical nature of the ask almost make it seem like a shitpost
First of all Samus being trans-coded was very core to her character from the very beginning. Regardless of the reasons they did it, the original Metroid was intentionally made and marketed to have people assume she was a man. This isn’t even just because people would see a person in a power suit and assume they were a man, the games manual explicitly refers to Samus with he/him pronouns. The immediate assumption that she’s a man because she’s tall, broad shouldered, badass, and wears a power suit that obscures her feminine features until the big reveal is inherently a trans theme. Taking that away makes her a less compelling character. It’s also continued in that Metroid media has continually joked that a lot of the Galaxy assumes that Samus Aran, the greatest bounty hunter in the Galaxy, is a man.
Secondly there was that one Metroid dev who said in an interview that Samus was transgender. The terminology used was outdated and it was explicitly a transphobic joke, but it’s too late she’s ours now.
Thirdly she is (was) built like one of us. That is, prior to the later zero suit designs trying way too hard to be sexy. Like seriously when I first found this image a few years ago I was the same height and weight as her. I miss the big buff broad shouldered Samus design so much and her later redesigns are honestly kinda pathetic by comparison
Tumblr media
Fourth, Samus was raised by the Chozo and trained to become a powerful warrior. Part of what they did to make her strong was body modification via Chozo DNA splicing to make her stronger and more agile than a normal human. This is a sci-fi setting where she was raised by an extremely advanced alien race who could change her very DNA, acting like she couldn’t look like she does and be a trans woman is simply not even an argument.
Now, of course, you could refute all this by saying “but Cordelia, we know what Samus looked like as a kid from Metroid Zero Mission and the manga and she was clearly a little girl not a boy.” Now even without addressing the fact that it’s very possible for people to realize they are transgender as children and that children don’t even really have secondary sex characteristics to make it easy to tell what their gender is, this what Samus actually looked as a child:
Tumblr media
The combination of all of this gives us trans women a lot of good reasons to believe she is transgender. But also, literally none of this is necessary for me to headcanon a character as trans. Trans women come in all shapes and sizes with all different stories and not a single thing in Metroid canon even remotely suggests that Samus Aran has to be cisgender. And if you try to say “but Samus has no bulge in canonical zero suit Samus depictions!” you’d have to be intentionally dense. Samus Aran is a chimera with a cocktail of human, Chozo, and Metroid DNA and, again, was raised by a race of super advanced aliens. Not only could they have easily given her bottom surgery, but they could’ve even changed her fucking sex chromosomes if she wanted them to. There is literally nothing in Metroid canon that even remotely gives me a reason not to insist that she’s transgender. To be honest, there is more evidence for her being trans than against.
To anyway anyone who actually read this far, I hope you understand the truth. Nintendo’s redesigns are too afraid to show us, but you and I both know that her cock is huge

Crowley Isn't That Special
Tumblr media
Something I've been chewing on as I read through Good Omens meta the last month or so.
(However long it's been since Season Two came out. Time has no meaning.)
I've seen a bunch of theories going around about Crowley Before The Fall. He was an archangel; the Metatron wiped his memory; he wasn't originally on the side of the demons at all. I have the same problem with all these theories—
(And just to be clear, I'm not trying to shit on them—they're smart and have canonical support—which is why I'm not directly reblogging or linking to any of them)
But they all support the exact same error that Aziraphale makes at the end of season 2.
Crowley isn't evil, he isn't hateful, he isn't bad like demons are supposed to be, and so this must mean that he's not like other demons—that God made a mistake when she allowed him to fall.
After all, “you’re the bad guys” right?
But this falls into the exact binary conception of good and evil that the entirety of season 2 is meant to subvert, the mistake that Beelzebub and Muriel and (to a lesser extent, since they're still kind of assholes) Gabriel and Shax exist to refute!
Aziraphale and Crowley aren't that special—they're just the ones who happened to spend 6,000 years on earth. Every angel, and every demon, has that exact same potential for being kind (and just enough of a bastard to be worth getting to know).
And any meta that makes Crowley out to be a "special" or "separate" kind of demon needs to grapple with that.

just a friend (jake x fem reader)
════════════════════════════════════
warnings::: smut (!! mdni !!), angst???, swearing, dom/cocky jake, female-bodied reader, hints of a toxic relationship w/ current bf (sunghoon), mentions of weed, alcohol, oral, unprotected sex, usage of the pet name slut, reader calls jake daddy like once, choking, mirror sex, bulge kink, fingering, dirty talk, cheating (idk if i missed anything :,) pls lmk if i did)
w.c. ~3k
•intentional lowercase
sorry for any errors, i didn’t really take time to read this over to make sure that it made sense LOL
read part 2 here
 ════════════════════════════════════
"seriously, sunghoon?!" you exclaimed, your voice breaking up due to the yelling that's been taking place in your shared home with your boyfriend, "it's getting harder and harder for me to deal with your shit! how did you think i was supposed to react to you grinding on another girls ass at a club? did you expect me to be fine with it or something?! i'm sick of this shit!" it was getting more and more difficult to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall from your eyes as you stood in front of sunghoon who reeked of weed and hard liquor.
nam-ji, a friend of yours, had spotted him at a nightclub at around 7:40-ish (it was now a quarter til 9) after he told you that he was gonna be late because of working overtime, and she managed to take a few shots and videos of him fooling around to send to you.
"babe, i was drunk and smoking! i didn't know what the fuck i was doing! i didn't even know who that bitch was anyway, so why does it matter?" sunghoon said in frustration (as if he had the right to be), banging his fist against the counter. "see? here you go with your excuses again; excuse after excuse after excuse. when will you ever own up to the shit you do?!" you refuted as you began to walk away, not wanting him to see the fact that you were beginning to cry. "where are you going? stop being so dramatic," he complained (again) as if he had the right to do so.
he tried to grab onto your wrist, but you quickly swatted at his hand as soon as you felt his touch. "get away from me, i don't even wanna look at you right now," you said with an even weaker voice than before. "fine," sunghoon sighed out before walking away and plopping down on the couch without a care in the world. you slammed the bedroom door, locking it so that he wouldn't try to come in.
a quiet sigh left your lips as you sat defeatedly on the edge of the soft bed that you and sunghoon had been sharing for over a year now. aggressively wiping the tears off of your face, you pick up your phone and shoot nam-ji a text message.
are you still at the club?
you waited for no longer than 5 minutes before she texted you back.
of course i am lol, what's up?
a mischievous smile crept onto on your face with this new found information as you swiftly replied to her message.
   i'm on my way
you hopped off the bed and made your way into the bathroom, looking at your tear-stained face in the mirror. it's my turn.
  ════════════════════════════════════
with one final look in the full-length mirror, you opened the bedroom door for the first time since the verbal altercation with sunghoon to see him fast asleep on the couch, a movie playing in the background. you couldn't help but sigh at the sight of it. yeah, sunghoon may be a shitty guy at times, but you can't seem to forget the good times that you two had when you first got together. you quickly shook off those soft thoughts as you began to remember why you guys argued in the first place, continuing to storm out of the house, making sure to slam the door on your way out to make it known that you were leaving.
  ════════════════════════════════════
your uber driver pulled into the parking lot of the nightclub, unlocking the door for you to step out. nam-ji and a few of her other friends came to meet you by the door of the club, ready with cocktails to give you immediately to get the party started as soon as possible. "what's up, y/n!" nam-ji said as she threw her arm over my shoulder, "came to escape sunghoon?" you rolled your eyes as you took the cocktail that she offered me, "don't even say his fucking name right now." you gulped down the cocktail as nam-ji dragged you over to the dance floor, spinning you around all crazy to try and cheer you up. "get us another round of drinks, y/n!" nam-ji said loudly so that you could hear her over the thumping bass of the music. you nodded and disappeared into the crowd, making your way to the bar.
to your surprise, the bar was fairly empty considering how full the club was. sitting at the bar were a small group of friends and a handsome guy with beautiful dyed blond hair, wearing a long-sleeve black satin button-up polo shirt with the sleeves rolled up perfectly to where you could see his muscular forearms. your black satin mini-dress perfectly matched his shirt as if it was destiny that you two were supposed to meet tonight. ‘his arm would look perfect hooked around my waist,' you smirked to yourself as you approached the part of the table he was sitting at. you sat yourself down on the chair next to his, as you made eye-contact with the bartender. "a round of vodka shots, please," you said in a sweet, yet seductive tone (hoping to get the handsome guys's attention) as you began to pull cash out of your wallet to pay for the drinks. just then, you were confronted by a veiny hand that gently pushed yours away, handing the bartender a shiny credit card.
“it’s on me, sir,” he said to the bartender, his thick accent making you melt. you quickly looked to the side to see a smirk plastered face, blushing at how sexy he was. “you really don’t have to,” you sputtered out in shock, still taken back by the gesture. “i wanted to,” he chuckled, “pretty girls like you should be spoiled by a handsome guy like me.” oh, he’s hot and he is well aware of it; his confidence somehow began to consume your being, a hot pit growing in your stomach of lust and desire. “is that so?” you responded, inching slightly closer to him, making him visibly flustered which boosted your confidence, “who are you to be so bold, hm?”
“jake sim,” he replied with an amount of confidence that you didn’t even know someone could exude, “and you?” “y/n,” you said, hoping that the club was dark enough for him to not see how red your face had turned. for a second, your mind drifted back to sunghoon, but your thoughts were immediately swayed back to jake’s alluring energy. “what’s on your mind, beautiful?” jake asked, noticing that you seemed lost in thought. “do you really wanna know?” you asked and he nodded as you looked into his deep brown eyes.
“you.”
════════════════════════════════════
everything went so quickly that you don’t even remember how you ended up pressed against his bedroom door, lips locked onto his in attempt to mute the lewd sounds that left your lips, sunghoon nowhere in your mind; your mind was filled with jake and only jake.
not breaking the kiss, you and jake stumbled over to his bed, craving more of each other. jake began to slowly unbutton his silky shirt, revealing his toned chest and abs, you followed his lead and began to undress yourself alongside him. you sat on your knees on the bed, him standing in front of you as you unbuckled his leather belt, the clinking of the metal riling you up. “such a slut,” he chuckled sexily as he ran his slender fingers through your hair, “so eager to get in my pants, hm?” you bit down on your lip as you slowly slid his trousers down his legs. “can you blame me?” you teased as he threw his pants to the side, moving onto the bed next to you, rolling you over to face the huge mirror he had hung on his wall as he landed a spank on your ass that was still clad in pretty, lacy panties.
jake pulled you up by your thighs, wrapped his hand around the nape of your neck, and pushed your upper body down onto the bed in a dominant manner, making sure your back was arched just the way he liked it. “yeah, that’s right. you look so pretty with your ass up for me and only me, but you’re gonna look even prettier with my cock stuffed inside your pussy. gonna make you forget all about that son of a bitch boyfriend of yours, right, princess?” his words and actions caused your panties to cling to your soaked entrance as you let out a hum in approval. suddenly, jake ripped your panties down your thighs, roughly lifting up your calves to discard them onto the floor.
“i’ve barely even laid a finger on you and you’re already soaking wet. how cute,” Jake cooed teasingly against your trembling thighs, desperate for him to touch you in all the right places. just then, you felt his lips kissing up and down your thighs, only prolonging your desperation for him. “please touch me, jake,” you begged as you gripped the blanket that was spread across the bed. “i have no choice since you asked so nicely,” jake smirked against your skin, his lips getting closer and closer to your warmth with every kiss. he proceeded to lick a stripe down your aching entrance, causing you to whine at the sudden contact. he moaned against your pussy as he continued to work his tongue against your now desperately aching warmth, inserting one of his long fingers inside you. he used his free hand to massage your soft ass, spanking you occasionally when you’d start to moan louder. “i want you so b-bad,” you whined out, your legs already shaking in anticipation. “use your manners, slut,” he growled as his hand landed harshly on your ass. “please, daddy,” you whined again as your legs began to close, craving friction. “that’s my girl,” he said softly against your back as he lined himself up with your entrance, pushing his length in.
his size caused you to let out a gasp as he bottomed out. as soon as he started to move, you bit down on the blanket in attempt to silence your moans only for jake to softly tug on your hair to pull your head up. "eyes on me or i'll stop, got it?" he demanded, pointing at the mirror that was across the room on the opposite wall.
"y-yes," you moaned out, desperate for him to begin moving again. "good girl," he breathed out seductively as he began to thrust in and out of you again.
you made sure to keep looking at him in the mirror, not wanting him to stop even for a split second. you watched the way he'd bite his lip whenever you'd clench around him. "jake, please don't stop," you begged as he looked up, making eye contact with you in the mirror, making you blush. "oh princess," he chuckled cockily, "i don't plan on stopping any time soon."
just then, he pulled his soaked cock out of you to switch positions, slamming you back down onto the bed and spreading your legs. he brushed his tip teasingly against your entrance, causing you to squirm and helplessly beg with your eyes for him to slam back into you. "please, please, please," you whined quietly as he lowered his head to trail kisses from your neck down to your lacy, see-through bra, still barely putting his tip inside. "what a needy slut, begging for me to shove my big cock inside her," he scoffed, immediately shoving the entirety of his length inside you, your walls clenching around him almost violently as you hooked your legs around his waist in hopes to feel him even deeper than he already was.
jake wrapped his veiny hand around your throat as he pounded you until you were getting sore. the moans you let out were almost pornographic, which drove him insane. "fuckkkk," he groaned out against your neck, "get up and ride me." you immediately follow his command as you two switched positions.
you hovered over him enough so that you could sink down onto his still stiff cock, moaning as you sank further and further down until he was entirely inside you. "it's so big," you whined quietly as you shifted your hips around to adjust to the new angle that you were taking him in. "poor little slut, trying so hard to take me," he cooed almost mockingly, "oh, look at that." he put his hand just below your bellybutton where his cockhead made a small part of your stomach bulge out. he took hold of your hips to start rocking them back and forth on his length, watching the bump move with the movements of your hips. "f-feels so good," you moaned out as you began to take the lead, putting your hands down on his toned abs to speed up the pace. "fuck, just like that," he threw his head back and groaned out as his hands firmly gripped your thighs, "who knew such a cute girl would be such a whore?" his sweet, sexy smile completely contradicted his words and actions.
you felt yourself getting weaker and more and more overstimulated as jake brought his hand down to your clit, rubbing it in gentle circles as you continued to grind your hips against his. before you knew it, you creamed all over his veiny member while moaning out his name and leaving nail marks on his abdomen and upper thighs. you could feel his cock twitching inside you as you still gently rolled your hips against his. not wanting to risk the effects of him cumming inside you, you got off of him and began to stroke his aching cock with your hands before placing kisses up and down his shaft, making him roll his eyes back. "shit," he breathed out as he finally released the orgasm that he'd been holding back since the beginning. you licked his shaft clean as he ran his fingers through your hair.  "such a good girl."
after getting cleaned up, jake came back into his bedroom with a cold glass of water and a snack for you. you blushed at his gesture as you gladly took the snack from him, starting to eat as he scooted into bed next to you. after finishing your snack and water, jake held you close to him as you both drifted off to sleep, completely forgetting that sunghoon was home alone doing god knows what. in fact, you didn't care.
════════════════════════════════════
you and jake don't even fully remember waking up. all you personally remember is panicking when you realized you were still in bed with him, the remnants of last night's makeup being on your hands after rubbing your eyelids and slipping on last night's dress because you had no other clothes.
"hey, jake?" you asked, him looking at you quickly with his cute puppy face that was completely different from the sexy dominant expressions of last night, "d-do you mind taking me home?" you were kinda nervous about his answer but immediately stopped worrying when he smiled and grabbed his keys from the counter. "on one condition," he started, you nodded then cocked your head to the side slightly, wondering what his 'one condition' was, "you have to give me your number." you blushed hard as you handed jake your almost dead phone, and he smirked as he entered his number into it. "okay, now we can go," he chuckled as he opened the front door, letting you out first.
════════════════════════════════════
"is this the one?" jake asked, pulling up into the driveway and pointing at the little house that you shared with sunghoon. "yup, this is it," you sighed as you looked back at him, "text me, okay?" he smiled and looked down shyly, "you don't have to tell me twice." you both shared a few more smiles before waving goodbye to each other. jake made sure to stay in the driveway until you safely got inside the house, leaving once you closed the front door.
you were greeted by a seemingly fuming sunghoon right as you opened the door, but for whatever reason, you weren't as phased as you thought you'd be. "where the hell were you? and who the fuck was that?" he interrogated in an aggressive manner, one of his hands beginning to clench into a fist. you shrugged as you walked past him.
"just a friend."

Astrology placements combos+
Tumblr media
This picture is from Pinterest.
11H stellium + Virgo placements combination can make a person hypocrite. The 11H is about friendship, groups, idealism and the relationship to the collective. The more 11H placements, the more effort they put into their relationships (relationships are an important part of their life and will do anything to conserve them). Meaning that they are TOO preoccupied about the image they give and who surrounds them and what generates to others. People with this stellium is highly sensitive to criticism, specially the friend ones and any relationship that could affect the mentioned already. They want, they need to give a good impression. Diplomacy is key. They want to fit in. In the past they could have felt rejected; the weird kid of the group. They have this desire to belong for the lack of it before. Virgo is characterized for being perfectionists and practical. They could get really upset if things don’t go the way they want, + 11H, in relationships. They could lie about things just to be seen as good or as they think the others would like to. They can’t be direct about their intentions. It’s more practical being in harmony, without any obstacle in their goal. They couldn’t even know how is the way they are acting (sure they know) for not doing some introspection. They could be really meticulous and cautious the moment they express, act and even present their themselves. So basically… virgo: cautious, perfectionism. 11H stellium: would do everything to maintain the relationship with friends.
What I was listening while typing this 🎶
Aries + Aquarius placements combo is too -I don’t know how to describe it (the thing is I know, but I don’t know where to start)- …much. They’re such a mess, but not in the literal way, in the way they make you SO fed up. -I’m sorry aries + aquarius combo person for what I’m gonna describe, if you’re seeing this (sure you’re going to react totally the opposite others would think: proud of yourself and feeling important like nothing of what I mentioned affected you…and that’s not a problem at all)-. This people is so headstrong, strong willed, with the confidence of a leader and passionate nature of aries and the unique, intelligent and independent nature of aquarius: the explanation is extra. Obviously there is more characteristics of these signs that contribute but we’re gonna focus on this ones. You can’t speak with them without feeling judged, I feel like I have to be in the standard of this combo person so I can have the honor to share some ideas or even open up with them. If I finally make it, they’re not gonna listen, and in exchange, focus on argument their ideas; or when you’re talking they’re are going to search for an error to refute. As I mentioned before, this combo is SO powerful, since aries and aquarius think futuristically; aries in their goal and aquarius for the community. This can lead a revolutionary leader with the purpose to change the way the world works. Could be starting with their empress or goal, and then contributing to others, to the ones that need more or to the problems they’re interested. “Start with yourself to change the world”, a frase that I just invented but I think could feel right with their values and the vibe they wanna be presented as. Considering that they want to “preach” their believes, they BELIEVE, they consider TRUTHFUL their mindset: there’s the problem. Is almost imposible to change their mind, they believe what they believe. Even if aquarius is seen as the sign of open mindset and trendsetter, etc. I always say “an extreme is an extreme”. And adding aries is going to make the aquarius placements more confident than they are. So please, aries + aquarius combo give yourself a rest. I know I can’t ask you to stop thinking in what’s gonna happen next and what you can do to improve things around you or who surrounds you- because you wouldn’t be you-…Oh I forgot. As you try to change other people mindset, you try to change the way the people are, the ones that surrounds you. YOU CAN’T DO THAT. You can give them advice, etc. Please, I beg you (I never beg I’m just joking 👀🙄🤪), don’t project the standards you give to yourself. And remember others can and must have the liberty to have their own mindset. Blablabla…This was too personal. By the way, I needed to throw up all this paragraph. 10H stellium implied?!

(Why I Think) Five Pebbles Is Not A Child
hello, all. it is 2am and i have An Opinion. you know what that means! essay
...okay, i might have lied; this will likely not be a proper essay because (upon looking through his dialogue on the wiki) this is very fucking hard to collect evidence for. not because it is unsupported in the text, but rather because it is attempting to refute a position that, in itself, i have seen little of others' specific reasoning for. It is a response, so to speak, to an argument that does not exist.
still, I will try, even though it's difficult, because this specific interpretation irks me and one thing about me is that when someone gets my blorbos slightly wrong I will attempt to write an essay about it regardless of whether i need to, want to, or should.
of course, mandatory disclaimer that you shouldn't, necessarily, trust me on this. I'm just some creature on the internet, what do I know? I'm not necessarily right about any of this, and you shouldn't feel pressured to change your personal interpretation because i, hollow gunpowder-arti, made a late-night post about it.
THAT BEING SAID,
I, personally, believe that Five Pebbles is not a child. I, personally, am somewhat uncomfortable with depictions of him as such.
the only proper 'evidence' I have heard for this stance is that he 'acts immaturely' (i believe generally referring to his behavior before and during spearmaster's campaign? i.e. the moon incident)--which I will concede, he does. but there is a difference between acting immature and being a child.
I will point out, also, that many times these narratives push either Moon, the Artificer, or both into a maternal role towards him--you all know my grievances with Fanon Motherly Arti, but even beyond that, it feels very.... iffy, to me.
I find that many times this idea attempts (either overtly or likely unintentionally) to absolve him of blame for his actions. which... five pebbles is not an unsympathetic or villainous character by any means. I mean that wholly and fully, in fact, I do relate to him in several ways (or... did, moreso when the hyperfixation was in full swing :P).
the situation is very complex, and Five Pebbles is not a bad person. That being said, he made terrible mistakes with terrible consequences. he acted rashly, impulsively, and, yes, at times cruelly. interpreting him as a child (and therefore not to be blamed for acting childishly), however, takes away a lot of this complexity--i would say almost as much, if not as much as interpreting him wholly villainously. because he was partially to blame. congratulations, you have made a perfectly good complex character and made him into a sweet innocent mockery of himself, who cannot be held accountable for his errors because he was a child and it was in his nature and he could not help it.
...if you cannot tell, this interpretation is very, very frustrating to me.
I... would like to go on, but I feel like I would just end up restating what I've already said. So. That's it, I guess.
One last reminder (which i do not think will be necessary, but you never know) to please not harass people on my behalf of course. This is not to say those who follow this interpretation are Problematic, simply to explain my reasoning for disagreeing with and even disliking it.
...how do I end this post. Bye, I guess?

Theory: Sigma's Identity is Lev Tolstoi
Decay of the Angels is a organization, equivalent of Russian literature in Bsd. There is something in the subtext that has been puzzling me since the first moment I saw Fyodor and Nikolai together.
Where is Lev Tolstoi in the BSD universe?
I thought for the first tims hat he would not be on the same side as Fyodor and Nikolai because of differences in philosophy and ideas, or that he would start on the same side and leave, etc. I was thinking about it, but Tolstoy did not appear in the story. So of coudse theory came to my mind.
Sigma, who is we don't know he's full identity" is actually Lev Tolstoi
I will explain everything in detail and at the end of these short paragraphs you will understand the logic of the theory. Now, I saw an idea at @bungoustraydogs-tr was written in just one sentence:
Sigma might be represent one of the building blocks of Russian literature, Gorky or Tolstoy.
is it possible ?
I think: (Drum voices)
He could be
Let's dive to the point. With his own words and writing, Lev Tolstoi is constantly searching for something that can be called internal and tries to understand his own self, why he is alive, what is being a god etc. He explains that he is trying to understand. He thinks day and night to prove to himself how the value of life is determined and the existence of the God he actually believes in. He is similar to Sigma, who does not remember his memories, does not actually have a sense of self, and therefore tries to understand the world he thinks he lives in. Tolstoy's sense of self was also undeveloped. At the same time, Sigma existed in the middle of nowhere, meaning he had no choice but to seek values, vitality, and purpose. He thought he had to follow the path given to him. To follow the path promised to him. Rules made by destiny , well, sound familiar to someone also to someone's characters . Tolstoi
At the same time;
"The view that knowledge acquired through reason leads to error helped me to save myself from the wrong path of indulging in unproductive thoughts. The certainty that knowledge of truth can only be found through life called me to doubt the correctness of my life. Despite everything, I was looking for God, I was hoping to find Him, and I was directing a prayer to the God I was looking for and couldn't find, as was the old custom. Sometimes I was weighing and measuring Kant's and Schopenhauer's facts about the unprovability of God's existence in my mind, and sometimes I was trying to refute these facts."
These are the sentences coming from Lev Tolstoi's own mouth.
Second thought for the theory;
When Sigma was born in the middle of nowhere, he had a ticket for a train that wasn't in the desert.Simple. Anna Karenina. Anna Karenina is a book that begins with children playing with trains, and the train has an importance that cannot be hidden in terms of the plot. Even though I haven't personally read it, I researched that trains were important to the book.
Tumblr media
Second thought for theory;
When Sigma was born in the middle of nowhere, he had a ticket to take a train that wasn't in the desert. Simple. Anna Karenina. Anna Karenina is a book that begins with children playing with trains, and the train has an importance that cannot be hidden in terms of the plot. Although I haven't personally read it, I researched that trains were important to the book.
Thirdly, while thinking about religion and morality, Tolstoy, like most people, thought that the world in which a religious person lives was not the most important fact. He had no ambition, but he took good care of himself because he valued life. Sigma voided a gamble at Sky Casino, giving its customer a second chance. Sky Casino was life for Sigma and he nullified one of the game his customer play so Sigma think games aren't important as his customers views. In fact, the search for talent emerged in parallel with acquiring knowledge.
I can believe Asagiri doesn't want t add Tolstoy but after all the authors reveal in story.... Also Sigma isn't count as a villiain after all and Lev Tolstoi really want to see himself as a better person, this is kinda a obsession to him. So, this theory might make sense

So, does anyone want to try and tell me again that things like Henry’s changing bloodstains and the moving and changing bodies during NINA are just background stand-ins for the kids/should be written off as a production error?
They’ve got 3D scans of the kids, meaning they made 3D models of them. Meaning that it’s easy for them to change the positions/sizes of their bodies and intentionally mess with them & that the changes such as the kids turning into adults can’t be written off as using stand-ins for the kids because they have 3D models of them and therefore, no need for standins (especially not fully adult standins who dont even have their eyes gouged out, which is what makes the standin claim so absurd in the first place):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They make quite a lot of 3D models- every single vecna victim has a full 3D model that’s used during their death scene:
Tumblr media
This is not Grace Van Dien with a bit of CGI layered onto her:
Tumblr media
Instead, it’s is a full 3D model and hair and clothes simulation of Grace:
Tumblr media
Even Henry is a full 3D model when he gets sent to superhell. This is NOT Jamie Bower:
Tumblr media
It's a 3D model of him:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They’ve also got a 3D model of the rainbow room:
Tumblr media
You’re going to tell me that they 3D modelled Henry’s fucking internal organs that we dont even SEE just so that it wouldn’t feel empty when the light ripped through him, but they’re not capable of making sure that blood doesn’t just ~appear~ on his face between shots?
Tumblr media
And not capable of making sure that the blood is the same on all his jumpsuits (and they’re also not just randomly going to make multiple jumpsuits??):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also have even more confirmation of what I talked about with the makeup team having pre-set blood patterns for every single lab kid’s bloody eyes and painstakingly replicating them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means that when that eye blood deviates from that pattern, it’s intentional, especially when it coincides with the children TURNING INTO ADULTS, and again, the “oh they’re just stand-ins for child actors” is such BS because they had the kids lay there already and im sure that theyre MORE than capable of replicating the eye blood on their supposed stand-ins, but they didn’t:
Tumblr media
The production error allegations regarding the dead kids’ moving/changing bodies, Henry/Edward’s changing blood splatters, and the changing blood splatters on the walls and floors of the Rainbow Room can hopefully be laid to rest. They can EASILY and INTENTIONALLY change and move those kids and their eye blood when they have 3D models of them, and they can EASILY change the stains etc on the walls and floors when they have a 3D model of the rainbow room.
Even the cracks (which change at the same times as the bloodstains and dead kids) are VFX:
Tumblr media
They aren't doing these things accidentally. It's all intentional. So, ✨film students✨ speak now or forever hold your peace. I've been trying to tell you guys that this stuff is intentional, and now I'm giving you even MORE evidence, and so far, all people have brought forth to refute any of my evidence is "well im a film student and I don't agree" and "idk i don't think it's that deep".

I cannot stop thinking about—okay remember the part in trigun stampede where nai tells vash that humans are hopelessly evil (while holding a bible)—and vash doesn’t really have a response
I mean he has his whole “I’ll just keep running away! I’m vash the stampede!” bit, but that’s not a refutation of the point so much as a refusal to acknowledge it—even nai is like “after all this time that’s the best you can do?”
and it just seems very clear to me that vash hasn’t read the bible, or at least he hasn’t read much of it, so he can’t use it to refute nai’s interpretation, and his experience with humans seems to support what nai is saying, so he can’t use that to argue either
it’s so hope punk nihilist! really I think that’s why this anime is so popular—vash is still holding on to hope, but he doesn’t have a reason for it—because it’s a seinen anime! he isn’t allowed to have a reason for it!
which brings me to part two of my thought—the shonen anime my hero academia also has a pair of brothers who have been at odds for centuries. All for One wants to become a demon king like the villain in the comic books he used to read as a kid, and his brother Yoichi wants to be like the main character, captain hero
But when All for One insists that the two of them are equal and opposite forces, Yoichi refutes him—he’s like, “Stupid big brother—you didn’t even read the whole series! Don’t you know that the demon king loses, and that Captain Hero wins at the end?”
And basically I’m just obsessed by the juxtaposition of these two scenes—because if you know anything about the bible, you know that Nai’s claim about humans being hopelessly evil is as ridiculous as AFO’s identification with the demon king—they’ve both noticed real elements of the text they’re dealing with while managing to wildly miss the central point. It’s ridiculous to read a standard super hero story and come out with the idea that you’re supposed to emulate the bad guy. It’s ridiculous to read the bible and come to the conclusion that the only way to get rid of human evil is species genocide.
But only Yoichi is genre savvy enough to spot the error—I can’t get it out of my head. I just keep turning over and over the alternate universe where trigun stampede is a shonen, where vash has read far enough to reach 1 Peter 3:15, where he responds to Nai with, “You moron, did you even read the whole book? Don’t you know that self sacrifice is powerful enough both to change evil humans and to defeat fallen angels who claim to be God?”

"it’s not about being a social parasite or whatever, the bourgeoisie isn’t evil because it sits around counting its money instead of pushing buttons on the factory floor, and they’re also not a “burden” because they’re “unproductive” (besides, they actually are!) etc." not to be dense but what is it about then? because a normative focus on exploitation (and thus surplus labor) is what i find the most among marxists
marx denies any injustice in exploitation itself. his entire point is that surplus value can be generated even if the laborer gets paid the full value of their labor-power. this doesn't have to involve theft, or a ripping off of one party for the benefit of the other. it is a dynamic which results from equivalent exchange. and this isn't just some insignificant aspect of the analysis, it's one of marxs central points and the basis of his simultaneous critique of both capitalism AND the existing socialist movement which theorized profit on the basis of theft, which if anything leads one to reformism and demands for a more just distributional arrangement (ie, simply pay people what they're worth!) rather than a dismantling of the system itself. the socialist movement he's responding to typically adhered to some kind of theory that treated the sale of labor-power as a violation of otherwise sacred laws of exchange (ie those of generalized commodity production), the political implications being to develop a social order where those laws can't be violated (stop ripping people off!), not to a problematization of the historical laws themselves. so when marxists talk about exploitation in this way they're generally committing the exact errors which marx is trying to refute. furthermore, marx's class categories are not moral ones. the proletariat is not a historical force for good in the eternal struggle against evil.

Wait I'm so confused, how is Glazer saying 'we stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the holocaust being hijacked to justify genocide' remotely anti-semitic or in anyway an issue? Why is there letter calling that out (or calling out an out of context fragment of what he said)?
A garden-path sentence is a sentence which appears to say one thing but, upon further attention, actually says something else. These kinds of sentences are often intentionally created to be confusing and make people think, but they can also be unintentional. For example:
The horse raced past the barn fell down.
The first six words would have you think that the intended meaning of the sentence is going to be that a horse (subject) raced (verb) past a barn (object), but that’s not the case! If you don’t get it, think of the sentence as follows:
The horse, which was raced past the barn, fell down.
In Glazer's statement, the sentence "We stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked to justify genocide" is an unintentional garden-path sentence: the first part of the sentence would imply that Glazer is saying, "We stand here as men who refute their Jewishness." Then, it could be inferred, he continues by adding, "[We stand here as men who refute] the Holocaust being hijacked..." and so on.
Technically speaking, this is also a grammatical error (albeit not one that would be easy to parse in verbal communication). The correct punctuation would be as follows:
We stand here as men who refute their Jewishness’ and the Holocaust’s being hijacked to justify genocide.
That is, "the hijacking [of the Holocaust and of our Jewishness]" (object) is what "we refute" (verb). Without those apostrophes to mark the possessive forms, however, what Glazer is literally saying is that he refutes his Jewishness. Glazer claimed this wasn’t his intention; it doesn’t really matter, in my opinion, because the reception of a message determines its efficacy. It was a poorly phrased statement that required his clarifying its intention after (what I consider understandable) backlash from other Jews.
As a final note: the confusion could have easily been avoided entirely were Glazer (or whoever wrote the statement) a better writer. For example:
We stand here as men who refute those who would hijack the Holocaust and our Jewishness in order to justify genocide.
Or:
We stand here as men who refute the action of hijacking the Holocaust or Jewishness in the name of justifying genocide.
Or something else entirely! The point is that it was a confusing statement that could easily be interpreted in multiple contradictory ways; ergo, a bad statement. "I don’t like how people invoke the Holocaust or their own Jewishness in order to justify [insert your preferred cause here]" is a perfectly inoffensive statement, in my opinion, but that’s not what Glazer said, and it’s definitely not how it came across.
