synopsis: at this point of your pathetically unrequited crush on your popular friend, it didn’t faze you when you found out that he wasn’t going to be at the same NYE party as you. but when he suddenly turned up to come find you, did you start wondering that maybe you weren’t the only one with harboured feelings.

pairing: mark x reader genre: friends to lovers, mutual pining, fluff word count: 2.3k warnings: swearing, drunkenness/mentions of drinking and partying, the word sex was said once note: lmao the way i’ve literally had this idea in my wip documents since like last year… anyways, here’s a little soft boi mark to start off your year <33 happy new year everyone!!

It didn't really make much sense.

Well, according to the resident drunkards Haechan and Chenle that is, being sober on New Years Eve.

Or any house party for that matter.

"It's literally free alcohol Y/N, why not make the most of it?" Haechan protested, cracking open another can of Jack and Coke, letting out a satisfied hum after hearing the bubbles fizzing up to the rim of the lid.

"Cause some people want a functioning liver by the age of thirty Lee Donghyuck," You rolled your eyes at the tipsy boy, clicking your tongue in disapproval as he downed the alcoholic drink in his hand, "And actually be able to recall all the not stupid things I did the night before."

"What? Like accidentally telling our little Markie boy that you're head over heels for him?" Donghyuck fired back, shaking the last droplets of the drink into his mouth before chucking it in the kitchen bin, "He's not even with us tonight!"

Unfortunately for you, the little devil man dressed as your best friend was right. Mark Lee was nowhere to be found at the party, though you couldn't complain as you were already notified of his absence last Wednesday.

You and your group of friends sat basking in the sunlight outside on the picnic benches of the park, taking in the rare appearance of the sun within the rainy week.

"What do you mean you're not coming to Lele's?!" Donghyuck squabbled, letting his burger fall onto the wrapper with a thud.

Mark merely shrugged, guiltily scratching the nape of his neck, "Johnny had already invited me two weeks ago and I said I was gonna go, sorry guys."

You frowned at the boy's statement, swirling the fry that you had stolen from Jisung's tray into the ketchup tub.

Though Mark was an important member of your high school friend group, it was hard to align your meet ups with his hectic schedule. Sometimes you couldn't seem to understand your crush in question, how he managed to juggle his school work alongside the university basketball team, internship plus a somewhat abundant social life was a mystery in itself.

Mark Lee was a relatively popular figure at your school, good looks, a chill and caring personality and godly talented at everything he did. It was no surprise that his inbox was flooded with invitations all the time let alone the holiday break.

Despite this, he always made sure to keep in touch with you, checking in with you about how your day had been or if he's lucky to squeeze in an ice cream run by the beach with you, which you very much appreciated and made your heart swell just a little bit too much than the average person, not that he ever needed to know.

As if he sensed your disappointment within the group's chaotic wails and cries, Mark reached over to give your hand a little squeeze, sending you an apologetic glance.

It was things like this which made up your hopelessly harboured feelings for the Canadian, making you think that it wasn't just you that had pathetically pined over him but being the nice guy that he was, probably treated others the same way.

Jaemin and Renjun though seemed to argue otherwise, whining to tell the clueless boy about your feelings, saying that there's no way that he wouldn't like you back before you quickly shushed them, snapping to keep their delusions in their heads.

"Hello? Earth to Y/N?" A voice broke you from your thoughts, causing you to peer up from your seated position on the couch, eyes trailing up the body of a boy to meet an amused Jeno.

He held out your phone, his cheeky grin growing exponentially the more you stared at his hands in confusion.

"Lover boy texted," He finally explained, nonchalantly chucking the device onto your lap, "Figured you'd want to know."

You grumbled, throwing the nearest pillow at the boy in which he barely dodged as he chuckled at your embarrassment, slipping off to the kitchen, most likely reporting the incident to his best friend.

Rolling your eyes, you unlocked your phone to find a couple missed calls from Johnny, unsent message notifications from Yuta and Mark's little message.

markie: hey :)

you: hi!! how's johnny's?

markie: too loud, yuta kept tryinhg to kisss me and johnny keeps bullyibg me markie: so i left

You giggled at his poor attempts at coherent sentences, covering your mouth with your hand to avoid the potential teasing from your friends.

You've seen Mark drunk a couple times, mostly at Johnny's parties after finals week. He was a cute drunk, clinging onto your figure rambling on about things which you couldn't quite decipher, in turn making him an easy target for the playful teasing from his seniors.

Which now that you thought about it, explained the random notifications from Johnny and Yuta, the two culprits behind most if not all of Mark's misery.

you: mark, are you drunk?

markie: no, im repsinsible heh markie: you're still at lele's right?

As you started to type your response, a loud groan was made from the left of the couch, causing you to switch your attention from your phone screen to Donghyuck sitting cross legged on the timber floors with Renjun, who was holding the infamous vomit bucket in front of his mouth, disgust ridden over his face.

"How much did he have tonight?" Jisung asked, almost horrified by the older boy's pitiful state from across the room. His eyes quickly darted back to the array of party mix lollies and the lukewarm pizzas displayed on the dining table, as unidentifiable contents threatened to spill from Donghyuck's mouth.

"We've already lost count," Jaemin resonated from the kitchen, his voice slightly drowned out by the rushing water, "Lele's isn't doing much better either, he's currently occupying the toilet bowl instead of the bucket."

You shook your head, silently chuckling at your best friends' suffering.

you: i am you: lele and hyuck's drunk as fuck you: they're currently hurling their guts out you: one using the vomit bucket, one using the toilet bowl

markie: those idiots hahahah markie: btw could u come outisde for a sex markie: *sev markie: fuck markie: *sec

you: pfft and u said u weren't drunk you: also, ur outside?!?!?

markie: shut up im fine i djust cant type rn

you: lol whatever u say markie you: i'll be out in a sec

You sat up from the couch, quietly squeezing past the crowd formed around the unfortunate boy and up the stairs.

Slipping on Jaemin's drunkenly bought La Coste slides, you swung open the door. A shiver slivered up the small of your back as the cool breeze hit your bare arms, a contrast from the warm stuffy atmosphere from inside.

You spotted Mark standing by the gates of Chenle's house, the dim street light illuminating his facial features, making him look more ethereal than he already was. With a little smile tugging at the corners of your lips, you began making your way towards him.

The sound of gravel shuffling from underneath your feet caused Mark to whip his head around to face you, he was pretty certain that most of the alcohol in his system had disappeared on the walk from Johnny's house but why was it that as soon as he saw you happily skipping down the path, greeting him with the sweetest smile that made him feel so euphoric?

"I can't believe you came!" You exclaimed, bringing him into a warm embrace.

His reply came in the form of a shy laugh, tickling the back of your neck with his breath.

He held you in his arms for a few minutes, with only the occasional squawks from inside breaking the comforting silence.

"Can you believe it's already the new year?" You whispered in awe, pulling away from his body to face him.

"Yeah dude that's insane, it feels like this year went by so quickly," Mark replied, adding his favourite form of endearment to the start, "Do you think you're ready for it to be over?"

You pondered for a few seconds, reflecting back on all the events that occurred within the past year before shrugging your shoulders, "I'm not sure."

"Don't get me wrong, this years been great but I feel like due to school, work and whatever, I wasn't able to fulfil all the things I wanted to do."

Mark nodded his head at your words, resonating with every word.

You always seemed to have the right things to say to him, always so understanding about his hectic schedule but never failing to let him know that he was missed whenever he couldn't make his friend's gatherings. It was things like this which caused the gradual course of his feelings for you.

For a while, Mark believed that he had made his crush on you subtle, not overly flirting or showering you in gifts in front of your friends. But one friendly reminder from Jaemin about his drunk habit of becoming a koala and latching onto you as if his life depended on it, broke his oblivious bubble. He quickly realised that many people had caught on, with some making it more obvious than others.

"I'm telling you, she likes you back bro!" He remembered Johnny exclaiming a few hours back with Yuta nodding enthusiastically as he half hazardously sipped on his beer.

Mark, Johnny and Yuta were situated in the secluded areas of the host's bedroom, with the party hammering hard downstairs. He wasn't too sure how he had ended up on his bed getting lectured by his two teammates about love pestering him to confess his feelings.

"C'mon, just text her saying to meet up," Yuta encouraged, handing him his phone to unlock, "You saw what happens when Johnny and I have our phones."

Mark pinched the bridge of his nose, remembering the sheer panic he had felt when the older boys dialled your number on their phones a few moments back, threatening to spill his secret before he had lunged at their figures wrestling to press the red hang up button.

"You literally have the best excuse to kiss her tonight," Johnny huffed, flopping down on his bed with arms crossed, "It's New Year's Eve."

"No way dude," Mark flatly responded, slapping his phone against his forehead, "What if she doesn't like me?"

"As if a girl would ever reject you," Yuta snorted, nudging the sides of his arms with his elbow, "Now hurry up and text her you fool."

And here he was, standing in front of you in the middle of the gravel pathway, with his face flushed.

Though whether it was due to the alcohol or whether it was the thought of kissing you tonight, he wasn't too sure. But taking into account his palpitating heart in his chest as he waited anxiously for midnight, it seemed to lean towards the latter.

"Sorry for rambling on," You scratched the base of your neck, hoping you didn't talk his ear off.

Mark frantically waved his arms around, shaking his head.

A muffled shriek awfully similar to Chenle's interrupted your conversation, startling both you and Mark as you whipped your heads back to the house. It remained quiet for a few seconds before a range of shouts counting down from ten resonated shortly after.

You giggled, turning around to focus on Mark's smiling face once again as the both of you joined in.

"Three," Mark cleared his throat, wiping his clammy hands on the sides of his ripped jeans.

"Two," He grabbed onto your hand, taking in your sweet smile and the way you reciprocated his touch, clasping your fingers around his, your rings clinking with his.

"One, Happy New Ye-"

The moment his lips hit yours, it had felt like all the daze of the alcohol was wearing off. Regaining consciousness of the way his lips perfectly moulded against yours and how he slipped his tongue into your mouth, tasting the watermelon lollipop you loved so much. Gripping onto your waist and tugging you closer, his heart began to mirror fireworks, matching the way the real ones sparks crackled and thundered in the background.

Pulling away from your touch, the confidence he had going in had simmered down as he gingerly met your eyes once again.

"What was that about?" You whispered, your eyes carrying a sense of wonder.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have done that without your permission, but you just looked so beautiful and I've had a crush on you for god knows how long and I just couldn't help it. God what am I saying, you can slap me if you want-"

You cut him off by pressing your lips against his once again, jerking him forward by his hoodie strings.

"You kissed me," Mark's eyes widened, awestruck by the sudden gesture.

"I did." You replied, fidgeting with the hems of your shirt as you added, "You said that you liked me."

"I did," Mark confirmed with a shy smile, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Does that mean you like me too?"

You could feel your cheek heat up as you dipped your head in response, making him beam at the small motion as he brought you into his arms, snuggling his face into the crook of your neck.

"Happy New Year Y/N," Mark kissed your forehead, his hands resting on the top of your shoulders as he gazed into your eyes adoringly.

"Happy New Year Mark.”

oh GOD

this was the WORST era for rory

actually second worst right after we go up but we'll get into that later

she absolutely hated it for one reason:

jaemin wasn't there

she was absolutely heartbroken when they told the group he had to go on hiatus for his herniated disc

they obviously didnt show it on camera but her and jaemin were very close

he would always cheer her up

she was just not feeling this era

she talked probably even less than chewing gum

at least in chewing gum, jaemin would encourage her to speak up

the other members tried too, but it was always him who made her feel best

she’d catch herself playing with the boys and being happy and then she remembers and gets sad

she feels bad that shes enjoying herself when jaemin cant be there

she’s down for most of this era :( jaemin had to end up talking to her to reassure her (and himself) that he would come back and they’d be eight again

okay anyways .. besides the hurt and empty feeling she felt all this time

she grew an inch so she was happy abt that

her hair was still dirty blonde, not much change but she had forehead bangs this time

umm 2 fansites opened up for her this era! 'B' and 'SUGAR CREAM' !!

once again, red velvet and nct dream's promotions clashed again!!

when rookie won, joy gave a huge kiss on rory's cheeks and rory blushing was all over twitter

once again the fucking SKIRTS

this was especially bad because they had to get on the floor multiple times during the choreo

thank god for her safety shorts

actually most of the time though, luckily, she was in the back of the choreo

even though she was literally .. one of the main dancers but anyway still grateful since she mostly wore skirts during this era

also she probably had the most almost wardrobe accidents this era

so many times there was a lot of wind and her skirt would almost blow up but either she'd notice or the other members would and would quickly cover her

that happens almost every era though but like it was bad because all they wore were their fucking uniforms to perform mfal

for ppl who wanted to put her in the back to make her one of the guys and not stand out,, u werent helping with making her wear a skirt

or yknow. the only girl in a group full of boys

okay right

so she still got major hate this era. it didn’t help that her character on the mfal mv was clingy

nothing new with that

intl fans and korean fans alike were angry at the fact that she had to wear a skirt while being on the floor

but sm never changed the choreo so :/

(dw it gets better now she never wears skirts or dresses whenever they have to get on the floor for choreos)

in chewing gum era, she stuck the most to mark and jaemin

however this time, she was closest to mark and jisung

one fav moment from this era is when misun said she thought renjun's snaggletooth was cute and for him to never get it fixed to which he promptly began blushing

yeah she lowkey got cocky after that LMAO

oh during the mv

at the start she was walking with jeno and when he turned to look at the teacher, she was still talking and when she noticed he wasnt paying attention she hit him in the arm

the whole mv is just her being annoyed by the boys not paying attention to her and focusing on the teacher more

during her part w/ mark she follows and tugs on mark's arm for his attention but he doesnt give it to her

when they run for the teacher's mug and almost drop it, she's the one who quickly grabs it from smashing on the floor

the camera pans to her with a disgusted look on her face

either from how the boys were acting or the fact that the teacher left her lipstick mark on it

oh during the car thing .. she's literally just shaking her head in disappointment but helps them anyway

when they get outside and she sees the boys' disappointment to the teacher having a child and husband .. she's literally just sitting there laughing

.. until she sees the husband's face and is in awe

and then the boys make fun of her

and the end

actually her character in the mfal mv makes knetz think she’s even more of a brat and in love with the boys bc of how annoyed she acts

which sucks and she emphasizes in lives that it was just a character

for dunk shot she's pretty much neutral on this song

but she does like that she got to wear either jeans or shorts for performing it :D

when renjun throws the ball and like then haechan is supposed to catch it,,

misun is in the middle and jumps to hit the ball to haechan

her fits for dunk shot, similar to the boys she’s wearing jerseys/sport shirts with actual shorts underneath 😭 sometimes they’d be long jerseys and cover her shorts but she was always wearing shorts

seventeen.

sympathy subtraction (chwe vernon). okay so there is NO way im not mentioning this fic. AND im putting it on first place because its literally my child. my longest fic and the fic i hold the closest to my heart. 40k full of undying love for chwe vernon, this is. it also really closely follows my emotions about every single falling-out i've ever had. the perfect slice of life, the perfect coming of age. i shamelessly reread this from time to time from how well written it actually is. i am not afraid to say that i am the biggest fan of my own fic bc oh well. i write the fics i wanna read <3

this february 14th (kim mingyu). okay here's the tea. for a while, i really didnt like this fic and i despised seeing it in my notifications, BUT. it literally has 1k notes so i reread it last night and i literally forgot what this fic was about i kid you not 😭 after reading it again, i came to the conclusion that my writing style in this is actually really good and even though the plot is not anything special, i still think it was really sweet :p

nct.

happier than ever (huang renjun). a big FAT trauma dump. but i absolutely adore this fic. one of my absolute favorites. i somehow always give renjun the fics where i experience the most trauma lmao i treat writing for this boy like a therapy session. i think it has to do w the fact that i see myself a lot in renjun so it feels safe to write about him in this way :p anywAYS i still love the brother's best friend trope i incorporated in here. its also a fairly popular fic of mine, which is a pleasant surprise! a lot of coming of age/slice of life vibes, fluffy but also absolutely heartbreaking. <3

the borders (huang renjun). AAAAAAA another trauma dump 😭 hits a little less to home than the previous fic does, but still hits nonetheless. inspired by one of my most favorite songs ever! i always wanted to write a fic on this song, even back in my 5sos era, so i am glad i finally did it when writing for nct. handles very difficult themes, so i was a little scared of posting it, as it was the first full nct fic ive ever posted as well :) i said it the first time and i will say it again; handle this fic with care.

and i love her just like that (lee donghyuck). MY MOST POPULAR NCT FIC AND YOU KNOW WHAT? AS IT SHOULD BE. hyuck e2l just hitS 😩😩 i think about this fic at least two times a week when i go play table tennis with my dad. hyuck is a menace and i still wanna make out with him very badly at a ping-pong table. this fic represents just that. also slightly inspired by maniac by nct u bc hyuck ate

just saying (liu yangyang). my writing style in this >>>>> ngl i find myself really funny in this it might just be me but. this fic is top comedy. also i have a yangyang fic in my drafts that deserves to be in this list but i havent posted it yet😔😔😔 not yy being the only non dream member i write for from nct. his impact on me is truly impaccable.

seventeen going under (zhong chenle). another fic that might be difficult to handle and also another sam fender inspired fic. talks about suicide. with this, i wanted to speak up about the rate of male suicides and how we tend to overlook mental issues in men due to toxic masculinity. also, i loved the 'retro' film vibe and the chenji besties interactions i wrote in here<3

hypersonic missiles (na jaemin). bros i didnt expect this fic to get nearly as much attention as it has. idk man i dont really get much to say abt this one, other than the fact that its a sci-fi, which i dont usually write, but i fucking loved writing this it was so much fun i should do more sci-fi

stray kids.

lee felix's guide to hating you (lee felix). another popular one!! loved every second of writing this. it handles my own feelings and emotions and the fic is very personal to me hihi it also lowkey made my blog "blow up"?? not that its big rn or anything, but i think that most of my followers came from this fic! :)

my only hate, my only love (kim seungmin). bruh there's just something about seungmin that only allows me to write angst for him. i think there's like one (1) fluff that i wrote for him and even that one is a short drabble. im sorry seungmin. 😭 anyways i am a literature hoe and wrote this despite not reading romeo and juliet fully once!! had a lot of fun with it. e2l stays superior (not actually, i prefer f2l but shh)

meet you there (kim seungmin). another heavy one ooof- inspired by sky castle! ngl i am very much in love with kim donghee and he always reminded me of seungmin a bit and i think that's what made me write this fic? 😭 not sure.

I watched Dream sketch #11 in Sao Paulo, Santiago, Lima, CDMX

This is part 1 of my reactions

Is this the last dream sketch? There have been so many, and there are so long, it takes so long for me to catch up lol. I think their South America dates were towards the end of TDS2 tour so maybe lol. Or maybe they'll have one more dream sketch for the final concert dates in South Korea.

Yeah in terms of kpop being a phase - I told myself that for awhile and I tried so hard not to fall into it more after BTS but there are just so many amazing groups and songs out there. And when c*vid hit I had way too much time on my hands, so yeah...me and kpop are basically trauma-bonded now lol 😂 But for real it’s only increased my love of music and creativity in general so I’m happy to have come across it!

Friend, I’m so sorry you experienced the trauma of the MOTS tour as well. And oof don’t break my delusional heart…I still stupidly have hope that somehow BTS will give us one more OT7 tour after the military 🥺. Even if they can’t do the choreo anymore and I’ve become an actual adult by the time it happens (🤣) I will still wanna see/hear them with my actual eyeballs and ears lol. The Link tour was fun, getting to see them and all, but I was honestly sad that they didn't perform much of any songs from their newest album - I think it was literally only 2 Baddies (the title track) and Faster 🙁. This newest album of theirs is one of my absolute faves they've released (almost no skips) and I really wanted to hear more of it live, especially Gold Dust and 1,2,7 (Time Stops). But I loved seeing Mark and Taeyong riff off each other during rap songs, Doyoung's voice was absolutely beautiful during his solo songs, MOON TAEIL also slaying vocals, Johnny shirtless lol (but for real - the entire performance of Focus from that set to the choreo was one of the most memorable parts, everyone killed it vocally and performance wise <3), Yuta's amazing Butterfly solo performance, Jaehyun being effortlessly flirty, Jungwoo looking gorgeous irl. And they did a lot of their hits so I really can't complain (faves live were Kick It, Cherry Bomb, Lemonade, Touch, Highway to Heaven, FAVORITE (my fave hehe), and of course Sticker lol 💀). It was a total party! Also Taeyong talking to the audience was too f-ing cute, like I can't - he's actually so soft irl lol 😂

Because I was originally gonna say this in the last post but didn't wanna sound like I was being selective but like…besides being in awe of Ten, I'm specifically trash for Yang Yang and Xiaojun of WayV 😳😂 For Yang Yang - time of death was when he and Ten released Low Low. The song is such a bop and when I saw his smile at timestamp 0:12 in the mv I was like…yeah I want him. And then his entire part in the first verse of that song like...ugh I totally fell for those lyrics (ik embarrassing) lol. Like the deal was basically sealed after that. Idk what it is about him but he just has this inexplicable charm…like whatever “it” is, he has it. Idk I don't make the rules. And Xiaojun? He is p r e t t y, ok? I am basic. But enough about MEN. Heck yeah I listen to girl groups!!! Actually, before I found BTS or even knew what the heck kpop was, I remember listening to Taeyeon (before I knew SNSD lol) and Red Velvet. They were my true gateway into kpop. It was like 2016 or 2017, and I was dabbling in Korean R&B (I could go down a whole rabbit hole of recs in this genre too, but i won’t here - feel free to ask more if ur interested in that genre), and I remember really liking Eric Nam’s Interview album at the time (esp. the song Good For You <3). And so I was pouring through his discography and fell in love with this song called Spring Love that he did with Wendy (love Like Water btw). And then from there I learned she was part of a group and I found Red Velvet!!! I played the heck out of their songs, and I could literally list their entire discography, but some of the first gems I ever heard where I was like oh yeah they’re special were One of these Nights, Would U, and of course the iconic Bad Boy. Those women can sing. The harmonies??? The vocals??? Total queens. When they released their most recent album I was playing Feel My Rhythm nonstop in the car for a few weeks - like the people in my passenger’s seat hated me lol but like...the key change at the end??? How can you only listen to that once??? And then the song In My Dreams…my hopelessly romantic, pining heart approves. And like Seulgi??? She’s so cool bruh lol. Loved her song Who Are You with BamBam, and her solo album was so great!!! The cover image for that album is just so iconic to me for some reason. I absolutely loved the entire concept. I am praying they announce US tour dates for Red Velvet 😭 For Taeyeon, 11:11, I Blame on You, Fine, and I (ft. Verbal Jint) were in regular rotation. Her voice is absolutely stunning and it’s like she’s singing straight into your heart or something. Just gives me the feels - like I begin feeling whatever emotion she’s putting into the song. Ugh. And she continues to spit out bops - What Do I Call You, WEEKEND (literally feels like a Friday when that one comes on <3), Can’t Control Myself (obsessed with this song + concept such a vibe), INVU (the way I memorized that little hand movement of the letters that she does in the chorus 💀). Heck - Hotel del Luna is literally on my list of kdramas to watch purely because of her beautiful song from the soundtrack (I think the translated title is All About You) 😭😭😭

And there are so many other great girl groups in kpop!!! Can’t list them all but dangit if I’m not gonna try - first of all I gotta shout out my girls StayC (stayc girls, it’s goin down.) Probably my fave of the newer gen groups and for me their discography is like no skips, esp. their YOUNG-LUV.COM EP. Then there’s Everglow with their insane choreography (the song First like omggg that ones prob my favorite besides La Di Da) and their hypnotizing pre chorus mottos. Like idk how they do it but they always have like some insanely catchy little saying or something right before they go into the chorus or like the chorus is crazy catchy like what the heck lol. Got into WJSN after Queendom, and their most recent release Last Sequence - like omg…the chorus and post-chorus of that song is like a literal d r u g. I gotta catch up on LSFM releases but the way Fearless had a chokehold on me for awhileeeeee. Aespa - once again just mindbending vocals/harmonies. Love Winter and Ningning esp. And the way I still try to do that crazy flat hand thing from Next Level 🤣 and I also weirdly love how that song is like two songs squished together - like ok SM they actually pulled that off for me somehow 🤣 The way both the bridge and the ending sequence of vocals at the end of Savage are absolutely insaneeee and I love hearing it every time it comes on. NewJeans literally releases bop after bop (🎵attentiooooooon🎵) like I don’t know what kind of magic sauce they’ve got going on over there. Weeekly is such a gem as well and I have been following/rooting for them ever since their debut song After School blew up! Their music is full of wonderful melodies! Can’t wait to see where they go! Fromis_9 is great, Oh My Girl, (g)i-dle (MINNIE esp. AHHHH), Hyolyn (straight b.o.p.s.), Viviz is great. I keep hearing buzz about the group XG and am planning to check them out soon when I have some time! Currently loving Kitsch by IVE and am excited to check out I Am. Also Cupid by Fifty Fifty??? (literally know nothing about this group but this song is just a total bop). So many other ggs/female acts old and new that I haven’t listed here, including some obviously super big well-known ones but like it’s a given I listen to songs of theirs as well so I wanted to give some love to my fave faves and some hidden gems <3 So yeah, the kpop girlies are out here doing it and leaving no crumbs. We stan.

Lastly, adulting is a drag lol. I hate transitionary periods and also had my own recently so I’m wishing you the best and hope that once all the logistical stuff is settled, better/great things await you on the other side! And priorities!!! Definitely save your coins for Seventeen and make sure you see them all together!!! Ed is likely to tour again, and I am rooting for you too!!!

chenle is that boyfriend who is always super delighted at your presence and again, super whipped for you. he may not be the person to step up or initiate stuff but if it's for you then consider it done and there's a very limited amount of stuff you can deny coming from him. so when chenle had come with the idea of stepping out of the house for a small walk, you could never ever deny (and don't you dare!). so while walking, chenle decides to get ice cream and leaves you by yourself on a bench, when some boy around your age shows up with his dog and bad flirting skills. while so intrigued by the little poodle, you hardly payed attention to the guy so when chenle showed up all angry, to say that you were puzzled would be an understatement. not able to say much before the boy got dragged away by his pup, chenle was quite relieved he didn't have to test his muscles. although, he still wanted to let you know that he would risk it all for you, even his five minute work out energy.

Johnny: The Popular Student; Everyone loves him, always trying to talk to him, is very nice, and doesn’t act like the popular kid, has many girls swoon over him, and is super into his academics, is a very reliable person, and treats everyone like a friend.

Yuta: The Bad Boy; Does this even need an explanation? Obviously a bad boy just from his looks. Loves to be a rebel and do his own thing, is smart, but he doesn’t put his effort into school, thinks there are other things on his mind to worry about.

Kun:The Therapist; literally everyone goes to him when they have a problem. 99% of the time he always says the right thing and they end up working. Everyone wants him to be a psychiatrist when he graduates. Or possibly a great father 👀 (Only Joking)

Doyoung: The Poetic Heartbreaker; Loves to write poetry. Anything involving writing is his thing. Loves to recite his poems at open mic nights, talent shows, in front of the class just because he loves poetry. He’s a heartbreaker because he is super romantic in his poems, but he doesn’t want a fling, he is saving himself for a special someone.

Ten: The Artistic Student; Were you even surprised? This boy loves to draw, but he is also good at everything, and is very smart and angelic looking, so of course he would be labeled as artistic.

Jaehyun: The F-Boy/ Player; Hear me out, I don’t think Jaehyun would be the type that is considered an f-boy, he is just really attractive and good at sex, his awkward persona plus his stature and charming qualities just attracts girls, but he is not going to just dump them then and there, most of the girls he fucks with know it’s just a fling and move on.

WinWin: The Quiet Kid; Very Shy, but is super nice and adorable, intelligent as well, has a small group of friends, and when he is around them he will become outgoing. Usually surprises everyone when he speaks because they never hear his voice, so when he speaks his voice flows out beautifully.

Jungwoo: The Forgetful Student; Has to have people remind him 24/7 about upcoming work due, just to remember, everyone suggests that he gets a planner or sticky notes to write down dates for things, but he doesn’t listen, will also forget about the time he has to hangout with his friends, but overall he is very sweet, he just forgets lol.

Lucas: The Jock; I shouldn’t have to explain this, very athletic, attractive, and a goofball, he’s a perfect athlete. Does almost every sport that he can try out for, girls swoon over him like crazy, and is a major flirt about it, he is very playful, and jokes around a lot, but he is a very smart student, and excels in a lot of stuff.

Mark: The Skater Boy; Of course, think about the voice, the way he dresses, and his attitude, he has to be a skater boy. Is always at the skate park during lunch, will head out with his friends on weekends, after school, but he loves to go at night. Tries to learn new tricks every five seconds. Even has one of those miniature skateboards he takes to school, and uses his fingers to practice tricks when he has free time.

Xiaojun: The Quiet Songwriter; Stays by himself, and writes lyrics. Always wanted to be a singer, and promises himself that he is going to get there. He writes beautiful lyrics, and is a sweetheart to everyone around him. Wants to share his lyrics, but is shy and wants to make sure they are perfect.

Hendery: The Partier; Can definitely see him throwing a house party every weekend, but they are always good, if you miss one one week, just go to the next one next week, it would surprise people if he didn’t throw a party. Makes sure to know a lot of people so he can have a party, and always wants them to be memorable.

Renjun: The Awkward Friend; He’s that one friend that tags along just for the fun of it. Doesn’t think to much about his actions, but that’s why everyone likes him, he’s carefree. He’s the type of friend you bring to a haunted house when you are scared. Loves to be around people and have a good time.

Jeno: Underclassman President; I don’t know why, but I always imagine Jeno as a really good class President, always trying to take care of his classmates, and making sure they are all safe, of course Jeno and Jaemin are really good friends for this exact reason. Makes sure to keep his persona as a leader, and will always keep a promise.

Donghyuck: The Classy Student; That one student that acts rich or is rich. He tends to be very classy, knows how to dress well, and always smells nice. Talks to a lot of people, and is seen as the prince of the school. He is also very funny naturally, so he gets along with everyone.

Jaemin: The Favorite Student; Always has teachers around him admired by his desire to learn, always a sweetheart, and makes sure the teachers know that as well, helps students by tutoring them, and helps his peers pass. Is in multiple academic clubs, and helps with the school to make it better. All in all he’s an adorable good boy.

YangYang: The Class Clown; of course he’s a class clown, look at him now, lmao, but seriously, he would always keep his entire class laughing at his jokes. Is in the yearbook every year for class clown, and he’s proud of that, has many friends, and is very popular, definitely a good friend to have around.

Shotaro: The Always Late Student; Never on time, always has some excuse for class as to why he’s late to school, or to a date, or to hangout with some friends. Is such a deep sleeper as well, he can sleep over his alarm a lot, but he does put effort into being on time when it counts like exam days, or important dates.

Sungchan: The Perfectionist; Wants everything to be put in a nice, neat, and orderly fashion. Always gets extra points on his projects because he puts nice designs on them and always has index cards to read off of. His classmates love when they are paired up with him because he knows he will get them a good grade.

Chenle: The Professional Friend; The one kid that is known by everyone because they swear that he is one of their closest friends. He didn’t intentionally become everyone’s “friend,” he just talks to a lot of people, he’s smart, charismatic, and funny, of course everyone wants to be his friend. Only downside is that it takes him a decade to remember everyone’s name.

Jisung: The popular underclassman; you know those freshmen or sophomores that know and hang out with only upperclassman? Yeah, that’s Jisung, basically only has juniors and seniors as friends, but also has a few friends in his grade, Attracts girls from every year because of his status, and many girls never know what grade he is in, just assumes he is upper class due to his height, and demeanor.
