Royal walnut moths!! They look so much like plushies, their fluff has a very fuzzy texture to them and that coupled with their adorable eyes makes them the sweetest boys on earth i swear 🥺🥺the scrunmlkly,,, the cute,,,

Lifespan: Adult moths live for about 10 days!
Size: wingspan of 3.75–6.1 in (9.5–15.5 cm)
Fun Fact: this species has 2 common names! Regal Moth & Royal Walnut Moth! They also have no mouth (unfortunately) so they don’t live long, they use the energy they stored up as a caterpillar! Which is just enough to mate and lay eggs! :D

very good question! i already did this for aquatic animals but i can answer this too of course .. and technically there is a species of butterflies with 'nero' in its name . that being appias nero. and its also orange. but i dont think its named after nero. but there are some bug species named after other ancient romans! i once had a post about them but it was years ago i could make a new one.. now look at nero bug vvvvvv
