so ive been watching some steven universe clips recently and my brain came up with this concept that i have no idea how any of this would work.

my thoughts for this under the cut :) (theres quite a bit)

So i was really not sure whether Dark or Chosen would be Blue or Yellow and honestly have no idea which one would suit them better (my knowledge of steven universe is pretty surface-level) so anyone who knows more please let me know who suits who better.

I also have no idea what they would be called. The Hollowheads? The Great Cursor Authority?

Just in case it isn't clear: White Diamond - victim

Blue Diamond - The Chosen One/ The Dark Lord

Yellow Diamond - The Dark Lord/ The Chosen One

Pink Diamond - The Second Coming

Roze Quartz/Steven - Orange

I think that the colour gang would fill the roles of Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl (BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHO SUITS WHO PLEASE HELP ME OUT), and possibly Purple is Lapis or Peridot???? No idea how MT fits in with this or who would be Bismuth or Peridot or Connie.

The reason I thought of this was because of that one scene where Steven hugs his Gem Self (again, I have a surface-level understanding) and i thought of Orange and his Awakened Self.

Yeah, so basically I have no idea how anything would work in an AU like this so if people more knowledgable than me could figure some things out that would be cool.

(I'm not actually planning to make an AU out of this i just thought the idea was neat :))

Instead of the theater play with silly white jumpsuit and mask, they could make OUAT project a flashback with silhouette projection with Felix explain Marinette about the story like you know... Like how Garnet tell the story about Origin of Crystal Gems and Roze Quartz to Off-Colors. Its more aesthetical than the theater play :/ (1)

But that would't be vague and mysterious, anon! We all know how much this show loves being vague and mysterious with the Sentimonster stuff.

For many of us, crystals, herbs, flowers, and plants are a big part of our spellwork. So here are some of them that have associations with rainbows, mostly through iridescence and opalescence.

Opalite - Magical associations/uses: tranquility, softness, water, healing, inner wisdom, communication Bismuth - Magical associations/uses: It is anti-bacterial and is used in pharmacy in several medications. Spiritually it is a stone (metal) of transformation, inner journeying, calmness, growth, and connecting with other worlds Bornite/Peacock Ore - Magical associations/uses: Working galaxy magic, spiritual journeying, self-confidence and self-esteem, pride workings Rainbow Moonstone - Magical associations/uses: Moon magic, magic in general, calmness, uplifting, dream work, spiritual growth, connect with your inner self Mystic Topaz - Magical associations/uses: Change, abundance, creativity, spiritual growth, good fortune, friendship Rainbow Obsidian - Magical associations/uses: protection, grounding, releasing and letting go, absorbs negative energies, intuition Ammolite - Magical associations/uses: sacredness, creativity, uplifting emotions, connecting with ancestors, journeying inwards Labradorite - Magical associations/uses: divination, intuition, magic, aurora borealis, unlocking potential, self-discovery, protection Opal - Magical associations/uses: inspiration, unlock creative potential, sacredness, inner peace, luck, prosperity Aura Quartz - These are quartzes and other crystals that have been coated with a titanium coating, giving them a rainbow sheen. Common are quartz, hematite, roze quartz, amethyst and quartzes dyed in many different colours. The “aura” supposedly enhances their spiritual power, brings abundance, and makes them work well for communication with higher beings. Solar Quartz - A new stone on the market, solar quartz is heat treated (cracked) quartz dyed in rainbow colours, often in a sunburst or random pattern. It is supposed to promote joy, creativity, and inspiration Rainbow Flowers - Through dying the flowers there are many different types of rainbow flowers available to buy, or to make! The rainbow rose is the most well known, but chrysanthemums, tulips, orchids, gerbera's, baby's breath, carnations, hydrangeas and many more are available as well. Magical associations/uses: The same as the original associations for the flowers, with the added associations of the rainbow.

Amethyst: Who is the Comfort Character™ of your wip

tbh this uh. depends on your version of comfort. MY PERSONAL comfort character is hya. which is why we’re talking about his bitchy ass 💀 however, the most stereotypical and widely accepted usage of the term would probably dictate aloe to be the comfort character and uh rip if that’s the case.

Rose Quartz: Were any characters cut from the wip?

actually no! the cast has only expanded since i started the wip. because this is one of my (rarer) newer wips that isn’t a rehash or reimagining of old characters/old ideas, i didn’t have much to work with when i thought of paramour. literally the only 3 characters that existed when i first thought of it was (1) the character that would become hya (2) the character that would become amon (3) the character that would become the keeper. and they were barely thought out, just placeholders.

Carnelian: Does the story have a lesson to learn? What is it?

OOF THATS A HARD ONE LOL. idk if paramour has a real Lesson so much as it has themes. if you wanted, you could probably make the take away that idk … that rich people suck SO MUCH ASS and they should be thwarted at all costs then, i won’t stop you
