hc au where tom buys two of those acrylic-suspended scorpion things and gives one to greg after his hundredth firing and says smth like 'well, well, well, gregory hirsch, slim reaper, sending hardworking people to the chopping block, swinging the axe with glee. congrats on your latest massacre, man. i, uh, i thought you might want to get those macbethian hands of yours on the family totem, eh?' and tom's trying to smirk but there's something else there, searching his face as greg silently peers inside, and then tom's clearing his throat starting to panic and he's about to backtrack and minimize and take it all back but then greg's just elated about how cool this is, wants to know how they got that thing in there and whether it's real and if there's any chance it's still alive. says he's going to make it a paper weight in his new corner office and make sure everyone can see it on all the calls. and i mean sure, the scorpion's pretty weird, even for them. but it's not really the scorpion, is it. it's about the one person who has ever looked out for him in this fucking family.

Often mistakenly attributed to Aesop, the story of the scorpion and the frog (as the title suggests) tells the story of an unfortunate meeting between a scorpion and a frog. The scorpion wishes to cross a river but cannot swim.
Seeing a frog, the scorpion asks for a ride. Scared that the scorpion will sting it, the frog refuses. The scorpion argues that it will not sting the frog because if the frog dies, the scorpion will drown.
Reassured, the frog agrees. Halfway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog. As they both die, the frog asks 'why' the scorpion replies that 'it cannot change its nature'.

the scorpion lives
[ID: two digital drawings of gonta gokuhara, and kokichi oma from danganronpa v3: killing harmony. kokichi is on his tippy toes, covering his mouth with his hand and whispering to gonta. gonta is staring down at kokichi, shocked by what he's saying. the background is bright red. kokichi is bright purple, while gonta is bright pink.
the second drawing shows a bright purple scorpion, sitting on top of a bright pink frog. the background is pure black. END ID]

The weird thing about Rachel Zegler playing Snow White, isn't her not being white. It's her talking as if she hates the older thing.
Also, someone please tell her (and Gal Gadot who also missed the memo) that falling in love doesn't make you any less of a powerful woman. Mulan fell in love, Tiana fell in love, Esmeralda fell in love. And they are feminist icons.
