since people don't know about them, let's talk about sex-repulsed allosexual people.
first of all, asexuality is experiencing little to no sexual attraction. they can have a libido, read smut, and partake in kinky stuff. they just experience little to no attraction to people sexually.
with this logic, sex-repulsed allo people are just people who don't want to have sex. they can experience the attraction part, they just don't really want to partake in the sex part. this can also be caused by trauma stuff, but it could also just be people not wanting to have sex, even with the attraction.
just like how asexual people can be sex-favorable, allosexual people can be sex repulsed.

Ace rambles
Guys I need answers. Because how do you define sexual attraction? Do allo people just think "damn I want to have sex with them" if they like someone?
I as a ace (this is a spectrum and different for everyone) like to touch and kiss and cuddle or whatever but NOT in a sexual way. And as far as I know all these things CAN be seen as sexual. But how is that different? Does feeling sexual feelings mean that they want to have sex?
Ughh I literally made a whole biological study out of this but still don't know what's the difference.

is it possible for an allo person and sex-neg ace person to be in a relationship?
I know a lot of allo people view sex as more or less an integral part of a relationship, or even the "final end goal" of a relationship, but as a sex-neg individual I just can't imagine ever wanting that at all
would love to know if anyone has been in a relationship like that, and how it ended up working out!
We would like to think that yes, it's definitely possible! Of course, everyone is different, and relationships work differently for each person. Just because sex can be important to a lot of allo people doesn't mean that it's the most important thing for ALL of them.
We hope that people in such relationships will reply to this and help you out! But again, we do think it's possible. :)

I love sex positive aces. I love asexuals who feel sexual attraction and I love those who don’t but engage in sex anyway! However, I’m so fucking sick and tired of having to bring them up just to prove that asexuals belong in the same spaces and conversations as everyone else.

I was in denial about being aroace so i decided to cave and use dating apps. It felt AWKWARD. Tons of people immediately began trying to either do the do with me or go on a date with only knowing me for 3 days at most.
Thats how i found im romance and sex repulsed.

my astarion hot take
i'm sorry guys i do actually HC that astarion was temporarily sex repulsed, but not in an ace way. i do think he has a moment of 'ohmygod was i ace???' and then realizing he's just blood starved and also has to get out from being crushed by the weight of being viewed only in terms of sex. it's not sex-repulsed bc he doesn't like sex, but repulsed bc of the baggage that comes with it.
and like having to deal with the fact that he objectified himself the same way caz was, but there was no force this time. he just fell into old habits. and repulsion that omg can i fucking control myself ??? after nearly two centuries of not having to show an OUNCE of self-control bc Caz had them so closely controlled.
but then the freedom of no longer being repulsed bc he's been freed of enough weight from his guilt and self-loathing to not only no longer be repulsed, but eager to try new experiences - with someone he's certain won't only view him as a sex object. who will still see him for who he is beyond that one moment they share.

Allosexual sex-repulsed culture is loving the sensation of being sexually attracted to someone, but also feel disgusted at what your body is actually asking for.
(Yes, not all sex-repulsed people are aspec! <3)

not to #discourse about a fandom i haven't been in for five years but it is kind of funny that in tma they outright say in canon that a character doesn't have sex, at all, ever, and half the fandom went "well by 'this character doesn't have sex' what they mean to imply is that he's asexual, and asexuality only really means that you don't experience attraction, so some asexual people still have sex, so i think the character who canonically never has sex should have sex'". and by funny i mean aphobic

why is it thought that seeing an indv and having sexual attraction arise isn’t a soothing thing? like it isn’t calming? part of the demonization of sex is established in the idea that the act of sex is something that is anxiety-inducing (entirely) and something to fear.
