this was heavily inspired by @ssentimentals's cheol natal chart (the one i rebloged) and thankfully i got the green light to do something similar for the kids. i am not as good of a natal charter than some so if you guys wanna put your two cents in and correct some of the interpretations and conclusions, feel free, just do it nicely.

"What exactly are you doing?" he startles you a bit as the humming from you stops, jolting up a bit at his sudden presence, dropping the warm, dry, black shirt back into the dryer. "You're home!" you gleefully greet, skittling to him before pressing a peck on his lips. "I just figured I do the laundry since I got free time, and you're kinda busy with work lately," you explain with a smile, and he pouts at you. "But baby!" he slightly whines, "Laundry is always my job. Don't you hate doing it?"

"It needs to be done Chan," you chuckle with an amused smile playing on your lips. "I don't mind doing it every once in a while,"

"Fine but I get to cook tonight," he concedes and wraps his arms around your waist, pressing a kiss on your forehead with a slight pout, still a bit bummed that you did the laundry for both of you. It was a pattern you noticed when it came to him, always sulking when your divided chores are done by you just because you have more time.

Could he really blame you though? You could see how hard he works, and it seems like leaving mundane and simple tasks to him would add to his endless list of things to do. But when he pouts like that you debate whether you should just keep doing it after all.

"No!" you yell out as the shell manages to maneuver against your trajectory, easily snatching the 1st place from you as Chan cheers out while standing in victory. Felix frustratedly tosses the controller down the couch, landing on third again and Minho simply gives up on trying to rank at that point. "What flavor and from where?" he grumbles, pulling up the food app before Chan hums, "I kinda want an all meat special,"

"I'll have a Margherita," you cheerfully add in your order before meeting eyes with Chan, a fond laugh escaping you as he shrugs. You know that look. And when Minho finishes collecting the orders he looks up at Chan with a confused look on his face. "Again? You're paying again hyung? I swear I'm not that broke,"

"Food tastes more delicious when free," you perfectly match with him, scrunching your nose up at him as he shakes his head with a fond laugh. "Do I say it a lot?"

"Only whenever someone has to pay up," you inform, before he makes his way to you and cuddle by your side, "Yeah well, what can I say," he shrugs and nods at the grateful smile Minho sends him despite the ruckus of the other kids, "Seeing them happy is enough to fill my stomach,"

"Cheesy," you comment while looking up, making him press a kiss against your nose, "Yeah well you're dating cheesy,"

"Not really complaining," you hum and lean against him.

You knock on the studio door, the red of the LED clock striking 1:00 AM sharp. Peering your head in, you see Chan turn in surprise, a bit of a frazzled yet accomplished look on his face. "Hey Mr. Producer,"

"Hey," he greets, a bit of a rush evident in his voice, "Come listen," he beckons you, taking a rolling chair to place beside him as you tentatively take a step, a bit unsure if you as a civilian should be able to listen to what could potentially be a title track, or b-side. "Are you sure?"

"100%," he excitedly replies, despite the bags under his eyes and tousled curly hair he looks lighter, in a sense that a certain burden has been lifted off him. 'Guess he didn't trash it this time,' you mentally note before taking a seat beside him, headphones immediately handed to you.

"Cozy?" his voice transpires as nothing but a muffle as you nod wordlessly, waiting for him to play the song. After a few seconds, bass and snares start to fill your senses. He looks at you anticipatingly, and you couldn't deny that despite the bias you already have–it sounded great. The whole song and his own vocals play out, and then it ends, fading as you place the headphones off your head and down your lap.

Looking at him, you beam. "It sounded great, Chan," you sincerely compliment, "What I liked about it was the hook. It had a punch to it, and I might get last song syndrome with that chorus," you chuckle and hold his hand.

"I may not know a lot about music, but I could say this one would be loved by STAYs," you uphold as he envelopes you into a hug, tension sagging off his shoulders, "I worked hard on it," he mumbles against the crook of your neck, "So so hard," he sighs out and presses a kiss on your shoulder.

"I'm glad you like it,"

"You did a great job," you pat his head, letting him relish in your embrace before gently pulling away and cupping his face. Pressing a kiss to his lips, you sigh and smile softly, rubbing a hand on his cheek with so much tenderness you think he'd cry.

"Let's get you home," you whisper, "You worked hard today. Let's go rest,"

His engagement ring glistens against the candlelight, a smile immediately reaching his lips before the clattering of keys alert him. "Shit," he mutters out, hurriedly fixing the table and arranging the final touches as the door opens, and you walk in, slightly exhausted and worn from work.

Your matching engagement ring clatters against the door handle before it shuts, calling out to Channie, "I'm home!" you loudly announce, hearing the slight noise in the dining area. "Welcome home!" he calls back, making you pout and furrow your brows at the uncharacteristic greeting because usually he comes to you. Deciding to shrug it off while toeing your shoes off, you step in only to be met with the sight of a dimmed living room, candlelight on the dinner table and Channie donning a rose in between his teeth.

You couldn't help but laugh, a hand over your mouth as you sigh in adoration, "Channie? What's all this?" you set your bag down on the floor before he holds his hand out, and with a roll of your eyes you take it.

All of a sudden, his arms are encasing you as a squeal escapes your lips, a laugh following as he dips you down and removes the rose, pressing a tender kiss on your lips while holding you horizontally, "Happy engagement monthsary, gorgeous," he winks as you couldn't help but laugh, endeared and enamored by the gesture.

He helps you back up on your feet before you approach him, cupping his jaw and cheek tenderly before pressing a gentle kiss on his lips, "Why thank you, handsome," you whisper against his lips before placing your palm flat against his chest, looking at the food spread on the table.

"You cooked my favorite!" you notice with a delighted beam up at him as he chuckles and presses a kiss on your forehead, "Of course darling," he presses one more on your cheek, "Only the best for you,"

"You sap,"

"Your sap,"

"Well true," you giggle, "I love you, Chan,"

"I love you too Y/N," he readily and sincerely replies.

I am going to tentatively say that out all of my late bloomer boyfriend analysis THUS FAR.

Would be THE BEST late bloomer boyfriend and here is WHY...

Firstly, the man has a very obvious caregiver complex (at least, I think it's very obvious) and so he naturally attracts/is attracted to people who don't feel understood or 'seen' in life because his Libra stellium naturally makes him very empathetic and a naturally caring person.

People who tend to be a 'late bloomer' in life usually do have some insecurities about themselves because it's just almost impossible not too??

And Bang Chan's Mars in the 7th House means he is attracted to transformative relationships and people that help him 'grow' and discover traits and flaws about himself.

Being someone's first ever partner would encourage Bang Chan to hone different skills like patience, communication and emotional intimacy whilst also encouraging him to discover different parts of himself.

You would be his own personal project in a way, which can be seen as positive or negative depending on Chan's maturity level.

At Chan's worst, he could see you as a project to 'fix' or a vision to work on because it helps him build his self-esteem, that he's helping someone 'heal' and he could unconsciously put you into 'victim' mode and cause you to unnecessarily restrict yourself, just show he can come back and 'fix' you again.

I'm not going to say that Chan 100% has a thing for being called 'Daddy'.

But the chances of him enjoying it are pretty high.

And I also have to point out that I'm not saying that Chan would be into age-play or ddlg, I'm saying that Chan would probably enjoy being called 'Daddy' as a term of endearment.

Because I have to continuously say this but age-play/age regression is a form of lifestyle whereas calling someone 'Daddy' only in intimate situations is just a term of authority.

Bang Chan Natal Chart Reading

Hello and welcome to my first individual chart reading on this blog. While I read charts (especially of K-Pop artists) mostly for fun, I wanted to try something a little more involved in scope. I rotated between candidates for the first victim, but ultimately I landed on Bang Chan (who may or may not be my ult bias? More on that later). I have hopes to do other idols whose birth times are confirmed as well, if there’s any interest in reading more. Or even if there’s not. Honestly, this entire blog is pretty self-indulgent.

Full Disclaimer: Most of my knowledge is by traditional astrology, which involves but is not limited to: using whole signs, excluding Uranus-Pluto for natal charts, different sign rulers, and different planetary interpretations.  Astrology is subjective by nature; I do not think my way is best, simply that this is the version of interpretation that makes the most sense to me. This is not a professional service, simply a hobby meant for entertainment purposes only.  Feel free to disagree with or question my conclusions.

Now, with that out of the way, let’s get into the meat of it:

Sun: Libra - 5th house

Moon: Libra - 5th house

Midheaven: Aquarius - 9th House

North Node: Virgo - 4th House

Starting from the top, Bang Chan’s chart ruler in Mercury in Libra, which presides over his Gemini Rising. Sun and Moon are also in Libra. What does it all mean? Well, for one, Libra is one of the two signs ruled by Venus (the other being Taurus). Typically speaking, Libra is an incredibly artistic sign, looking for beauty in the world. It seeks to be fair and just, which can lean into being indecisive at worst. It’s no wonder that Libra is touching every part of Chan’s big 3. Who he is, how he feels, and how he communicates, all in Libra- between that and his 10th house in Pisces, another incredibly artistic placement, I have little shock that he ended up in music. It just suits him so well. With all that Libra energy sitting in the 5th house, a benefic house and the ruler of fun and pleasure, he’s very charming. Someone who comes off as a friend almost immediately. Magnetic, even.

Chan’s Libra 5th house is ruled by a Venus in Scorpio. As I mentioned in my previous blurb about Stray Kids’ charts, without that Scorpionic influence, I think Chan would simply float away with his ambitions (Libra, as a Cardinal sign, is very idea oriented and less execution).. Instead, Scorpio adds a lot of the emotion and ambition needed to make them a reality. Scorpio Venus, ruled by the malefic Mars, gets misinterpreted both positively and negatively, but I do think that its influence in his chart is largely helpful. With it being placed in the 6th house, the house of work and health, it's giving caretaker vibes. Acts of Service as a love language type. 

Moving on to the seventh house, Chan has a Mars in Sagittarius that is…interesting. Mars, the sign of energy and fight, is sitting in the house of long term relationships and opposite of self. Mars in Sagittarius is actually a decent placement because that fire sign is helping his Mars work as intended, but sitting in the seventh house, this points to potentially being hasty in relationships. Also, may enjoy dynamics with a little bite to them. I’m reminded of the clip of Chan, specifically.

So the 9th house is the house of other cultures, right? It’s little surprise that Chan has both his Midheaven and Jupiter sitting here in Aquarius. Success, expansion and public exposure in foreign cultures. Groundbreaking interpretation, I know. Though, when it comes to Chan, I wonder what one would consider the foreign culture? Ethnically Korean, raised in Australia, professionally working back in Korea. Which one to consider home? With his North Node sitting in the 4th house, the house of home, I think this is a question he has asked and may continue to ask across his life. 

Finally, I’ll make my final observations on his Aries Saturn in the 11th house. Saturn in Aries havers (1996-1999ish)  tend to have extreme irritation and constriction in their life wherever this is placed, if not balanced out. Unfortunately, the major aspect to this placement is its opposition to his Libra Sun. It seems like a war between the self and the dreams. The fun and the vision. I don’t think it’s a reach to say that he definitely experienced this dynamic in his predebut years, but that’s the fun of doing celebrity chart readings- you have a lot of source material to work with in confirming your biases.

All in all, I do really like Chan’s chart! He’s not without his struggles, but I think a lot of the energy is cohesive. As an aside, my personal chart is so incredibly similar but trine to his (Air/Fire dominant, with a smattering of water influence to tame that), that it's no surprise that I was immediately drawn to him. I love seeing astrologically how we tend to pick biases that either sync or balance with our energy.

"Yeah the collar is new," his voice makes your heart breach out of your ribcage as he leans against the doorway, looking at you intently while you're crouched down to Soonie's level. "To be frank, putting that thing on took my entire morning,".

"I– Wh– What do you mean by this Minho?" you gently let go of the collar before standing up as he strides towards you, unwavering fire in his eyes, "Y/N-ah, listen to me well okay?"
