With permission to post, a watermark, and a lot of compression, this is the big commission I've been working on for the past few weeks.

This one's for @f-imaginings and chapter 55 of their very good fic!

This one is kinda years in the making considering I've been reading that fic since my last years of high-school-

It was the main thing I read for a good while on the bus and I've read it twice all the way through.

I remember sitting at a desk during a free study class, genuinely vibrating with excitement when a chapter dropped in late 2019 or 2020.

My chair was rattling.

I originally found the fic through some gorgeous commissions they had done at the time and it inspired me to read the fic with as vivid an imagination as possible, despite my reading issues and not having glasses, that I really badly needed, yet.

My favourite part was the sci-fi worldbuilding and the characterisations of the henchmaniacs. A favourite joke of mine being keyhole's extended family and their pun names.

So I was very excited when asked about a commission from the author, although I had to decline, and that was almost four years ago now.

And now that I'm finally set up to take commissions here we have it!

Point is: I hope all that comes through in the final piece. :^]

Did you know if you go into your settings -> go to Dashboard -> and flip the switch to show timestamps, you can see the date of the post?

I'm bringing this up because an old post from February 2022 of mine about the Earn It Act bill was getting popular again. Apparently, the Bill came back again in April 2023 (It's still getting decided by the House Judiciary Committee).

Lindsey Graham will keep reintroducing this bill. He already has plans on reintroducing it in 2024.

But to summarize what the Earn It Act bill is. It's disguised as a bill to "protect the children." When in reality it's a bill to have more monitoring and control. Especially to groups such as LGBTQ+, Sex Workers, and Protesters.

The Bill also wants to include a "Backdoor."

A Backdoor is something that even Homeland Security is highly against. It's for "easier" access to your internet system such as your device.

The reason Homeland Security is so against this idea is because it's like having a firewall that is supposed to protect you from the outside, keeping all the stuff that could cause us harm out... only to have a backdoor with a welcome mat attached to it. So like, what is the point of having a firewall protection if you are just going to install a door that is easy for anyone to come and go as they, please.

Here is the bill that will be active again in 2024 since it died in committee this year. Lindsey Graham will keep reintroducing this bill for who knows how long. So be prepared for it.

Edit: It did not die! That is my bad! I was very exhausted and didn't do my fourth reread on it. But tomorrow will be decision day and we will see if the bill died. If it did then we will have to be prepare when Lindsey Graham reintroduce it again in 2024.

Attention American Users!

The United States senate is trying to pass a bill called KOSA, later this year.

With the recent take down of Ao3 I wanted to inform people that if this bill passes Ao3 will be completely wiped.

The KOSA bill is a bill that wants to protect the online usage of children. Do not be fooled by this though.

The KOSA is really a censorship bill. This means that if the senate sees a certain website they do not like they will remove it. The most notable reason for these websites that could potentially be taken down is so that the government can censor queer people and "protect" children from queer people.

Apps and websites such as Tik Tok, Tumblr, Ao3, Instagram, and many others could potentially be taken down in America.

This is dangerous. Not only because it will put important and life saving information from not just kids but adults aswell. This bill is a clear violation of the first amendment and the peoples rights to freedom of speech.

If you can please sign this and call your local law makers to insure that this bill does not get passed. We can not let them censor us!

On Thursday, Maryland’s Senate Finance Committee heard Senate Bill 119, a bill that would make Maryland a sanctuary state for transgender individuals and providers fleeing other states. The bill would add gender-affirming care to a law passed last year that shields abortion patients and providers from out-of-state prosecution and investigations. Many more individuals testified in favor of the bill than against it, including Maryland state government officials who remarked on its necessity. If passed, the law would make Maryland the 12th state, not counting the District of Columbia, to do so.
