This Sucks. I Want My Aesthetic Back.

It kinda hurts my soul that the whole tradwife thing online has definitely been co-opted by some bad things....but also, like. On the other end, a lot of people assume that if you like "trad" stuff, people assume you're automatically part of the really bad sides.....like. No. I just like to wear traditionally feminine clothes, and I just genuinely would prefer to live the whole housewife/mom lifestyle.

Like. I like cooking for people, and I even enjoy cleaning, and I wanna have a brood of kids someday....but like? I hate that the aesthetic I like has been co-opted to the point that if I say I'd like a somewhat traditional (in some aspects) life, people assume I'm some neonazi, christian, bigot who doesn't wanna have any "non white babies", and wants every woman to do the same thing....like. No?????

Like. I may wanna wear a fifties aesthetic, and be a stay at home wife/mom-someday, and yes, I'm submissive in day to day, but I'm also into bdsm (and subby in the bedroom too, soo), I'm bisexual, I'm polyamorous, and I recently got my heart kinda busted by a Filipino girl, so I'm definitely not racist, sooooo

And also. Like. I'm super liberal, and I think it's awesome when people find happy arrangements for themselves. Whether they work everyday and are the breadwinners, or they're the stay-at-home spouse/parent. I just... I hate that I can't really share my aesthetic on Tumblr or use the tags anymore cause now I'm lumped in and I don't like it.

I will say though, I find it endlessly funny that after each of my exes, I ended up with a guy who is super white, and has the whitest of all white names.

Its honestly really shitty of people to not realize you can be a feminist or in my case equalist/egalitarian, AND rock the retro aesthetic AND genuinely wanna be a stay-at-home wife and mom AND genuinely prefer to be "traditionally" feminine. Like. Alright. People suck. This sucks. I wanna be able to talk about the stuff I'm into freely. I want my aesthetic back.

ok so i started this blog about two months ago, and i still am having a hard time figuring out what i should post. as of 03/03/2020, i am three months postpartum. still have absolutely no idea what the fuck i am doing. i am a shitty house wife, and i have absolutely no routines in place at all. but my sweet baby and boyfriend are always taken care of, so i guess that’s gotta count for something. i am wanting to start working out, cause quite frankly my postpartum bod ain’t cutting it. but only issue with that is i have no idea how to workout, all i do is run. my goal is to get a schedule in place and to follow it day by day, no matter what. so i am going to try and start this fitness journey as well as trying to become this “perfect” stay at home mom. stay tuned. 😎

One of the completely misleading things is breastfeeding. See they usually have you take a breastfeeding class during your pregnancy, when you go they tell you breastfeeding shouldn’t hurt, that it is easy, and they show you all the ways you can breastfeed. They mislead you because one, no baby is born knowing how to latch on so YES breastfeeding is painful, VERY painful I may add the first few days. Two, they say it is easy but it is not easy at all since the baby doesn’t know how to latch you have to figure out how to get him to latch and also make sure he is latching on correctly so your nipple doesn’t get destroyed. Three, they give you all the positions but they never mention that it will take many many tries to figure out what position is right for you and your baby. Babies are not easy, they don’t like every position you put them in.

26, bilingual and briefly bisexual.

First time cloth-diapering mom with a passion for taking care of the planet. Previously a promising young girl who is now struggling to finish her economics degree.

Used to make bank, now I hardly make ends meet. I’d love to ditch this dirty, overcrowded city and have a house overlooking the beach. Perhaps, more than a weight loss journey, this is a whole self-improvement project.

I believe that in order to improve my life, I must improve myself. I have been overweight for years, and with all my hard work and love for carbs I am now OBESE. This is my first step towards being that successful and gorgeous woman I dream of, the one myself and everyone else was sure I’d become.

October 06, 2019. 105 kg (I can think in both pounds and kilos, but the metric system is much neater. I like round numbers)

I don’t want to look much too think, but I desperately yearn to look slim in a long sweater and leggings. Maybe 60, 65 kg? I’ll see when I get there.

I feel a dark cloud hover around me

Everywhere I go that no one else can see

Because it’s not visible. It’s not there

I’m the only one that can feel it within myself.

It comes & goes.

But it’s always there.

It’s disguised.

I disguise myself.

I feel like I have to.

I feel like I have to hide what I feel truly because I need to be strong for who is in my life. & I need to be here.

I’ve opened myself somewhat but never fully.

It’s just so hard to comprehend a lot of things I think or feel.

All I can do is try to keep my mind off of these things.

Stay busy.

Where did this all even come from

Where does it all stem from?

I can’t quite pinpoint it

All I know is I don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me

Making fun of me or thinking I’m such a weak person

Or medicate me just to try to fix me

Or talk to me because that’s supposed to help.

I don’t want any of it

& I surely don’t want this.

The first thing I realized that is never mentioned throughout the entire pregnancy is induction. They don’t explain it nor do they let you know why it’s necessary or how it is conducted. Being inducted into labor is like a slap in the face, unexpected and extremely uncomfortable. First of all, induction is only really necessary if you are way past your due date, have Preeclampsia, or simply if there are any risks of something going wrong for either you or the baby. Unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident which led to me being inducted, it was quite shocking to figure out how that worked in such short spam. Induction is conducted by placing something inside your pelvic, close to your uterus to begin contractions. You are left on the stretcher without any ability to move for 2 full hours. Doctors don’t realize how emotionally distressing it can be not just for you, but also for your baby.
