i wanna take a minute and talk about my friend coleman.

coleman and i have been buds for a long time! when we both moved to the same city we achieved a bond that many service workers do: that of mutual discounts. coleman was a barista across the street from where i was a bookseller, and we passed each other as many free/discounted books and coffees as we could get away with. i always felt i had the better deal, however, because while i got cheap lattes i also got a glimpse into what coleman was thinking about and working on.

"do you have any patricia highsmith" he'd text me, and i'd raid the mystery section and think what story is going to come from this? he got very into oskar schlemmer's Triadic Ballet and i started checking any books we got in about the bauhaus for new images and texting them his way, knowing i was going to see it reflected in art someday soon. because the thing about coleman, maybe my favourite thing about him (among many, many things) is the way he will pursue a set of interests and then synthesize them all into a work of art that is entirely new and entirely him and like nothing i've ever seen before.

coleman makes comics. you might have seen his art in steven universe issues, or on tapas, or here on tumblr (like this one, about creating a personal color palette for himself, which literally changed my life). most of them you haven't seen, however, which kills me. i've edited a number of graphic novel pitches for coleman and i can tell you the stuff he comes up with is GOOD. it's weird and queer and earnest and original, all of it, every time. i really hope y'all will get to see some of it someday. but my point is that you can see this one thing right now:

coleman has been working on stone fruits for months and as of january 1st it's updating every day. it's a love letter to newspaper comics and early webcomics. it's about losing the spark of creativity and having to keep going anyway, and queer communities and weirdos and going home. this thing is so lovingly crafted, from the hand-drawn buttons (which change on certain days) to the fact that the website is .net. No element was too small to be considered, and it has been a joy to watch coleman consider them.

i want coleman to find his audience. he deserves it, and so does the audience. read stone fruits.

FRUITS BASKET S2 EPISODE 18 + short Ep 1-17 english dub recap

AND I'M BACK WITH THE MADNESS.

Took a bit of a break from the Fruits Basket recaps because life happened and I wanted to focus a bit more on my art career and my webcomic. But, I came to miss doing the recaps! So, I'm gonna try and finish season 2 and do some of the left over recaps now in time for when Season 3 drops!

I HAVE however been re-watching the older episodes of Fruits Basket Season 2 with the english dub this time and I have a few notes!:

A shoutout to the wording used in the Yuki 'confession' scene on the beach with Tohru. However, in the sub the confession came across a lot more like platonic love to me and in the dub the confession came across a lot more romantic. (Especially in the episode after where Yuki says he doesn't regret kissing Tohru lol)

Laura Bailey stays killing it as Tohru. All the little vocal inflections are so freakin cute and make her sound more human! But that also speaks to the editing as well which is great. The balance between a little naive and scared and yet strong and determined in her scene with Akito was... amazing.

(Also... all of Akito’s most violent and hurtful moments are when it’s dark... I dunno I just found that cool and interesting lol)

Jerry Jewell in EPISODE 9?!?! His scene with Akito always gets me regardless but Jerry Jewell's performance was heartbreaking! Ah, I could cry. (I did) The little shake he did while declaring he wasn't in love with Tohru because he can't say that shit actually truthfully? 😩 Also... is he intentionally making Kyo’s voice sound a little deeper? It definitely sounded like it in that episode with Kagura. I like!!

While I LOATHE Akito, Colleen Clinkenbeard is amazing, I've never heard her sound this sneakingly evil! And yet... it's slightly carefree too. Reminds me a lot of Shigure. As I said before, Akito and Shigure's english VAs pair up so nicely in audible form.

I love how flirty Hatori was in the English dub when it came to him and Mayu’s episode. It was a really lovely performance from Kent Williams :) I always read that scene of Hatori just being friendly when asking Mayu out to get something to eat but this was a whole other wonderful take!!! <3

I LOVE KIMI TODO’S ENGLISH VA’S PERFORMANCE OMG. THANK YOU, CHERAMAI LEIGH 🤣

Kakeru’s English VA continues to sound cuter and cuter... 😘 Whassup, Aaron Dimsuke? I kid, lol

I lovee the fact that Haru calls Yuki ‘fragile and kind’ (two typically feminine presenting descriptions) and Yuki took it as a compliment! I dunno about the description of fragile as many people could take that offensively, regardless of gender, but the way it’s explained here it’s almost like he’s describing him as precious?... Coulda went with that instead...

I like the decisions for the moments where Mikaela Krantz emphasises on Momiji’s put on German accent and when she tones it down and return to his natural voice

But anyways... lol, this episode was... a LOT. Not an easy breezy one for me to come back to at all... I’ll be watching the english dub.

TIME TO DIVE BACK IN!

- Hiro's so cute at the start of this episode talking about his sibling and how he wants to look out for his mum. Of course, it's in the most Hiro of ways but this scene definitely warmed me up to him a lot more :)

That hair animation they give Rin is always great 😂 I hope Takaya-sensei is proud.

It’s so curious how Hiro speaks so honestly and true to Rin yet is so careful of her emotions. He’s never really been like this with anyone but Kisa, especially not the other teens or adults. It kinda shows how much seeing what happened to Rin by Akito’s hands really got to him and traumatised him. Of course, Hiro’s not just doing this because of his trauma but cos he genuinely cares!

- I noticed that there was a slight parallel between Hiro + Kisa and Rin + Haru. Kinda highlights why breaking the curse is important to Hiro and gives more reason as to why that event with Rin and Akito freaked him out.

- I dunno if this is intentional or just an animation glitch but I’ve noticed that in that long panning shot in the opening theme that closes into Yuki, Tohru and Kyo looking at the sunset, it looks like Kyo’s experession kinda ‘glitches’ in between a smile and a stoic look. Again, I don’t know if it was intentional, but I like to think it’s as a little show of Kyo not really managing to attain true happiness fully (for now anyway).

- (Also, I think that this opening song might come third in my list of most favourite opening songs in Fruits Basket history!!! <3<3<3)

- I’m super glad that Shigure and Rin scene didn’t go any further than it needed to... 👀 but the fact that Rin thought ‘Gure would be up for using her body as a bargaining chip says more about Shigure than Rin in my humble opinion...

Self-loathing? From Shigure? Unexpected. Empathy? For him? A little.

...Damn it.

I’m sorry. This scene is very gorgeous, well lit and beautiful and dramatic. But, I can’t not laugh at how early 00s gothic romance this is! But, I love it. It’s sweet and probably the first ‘raunchy’ scene we’ve gotten in this anime, ooo la! But, that kiss animation was kinda awkward for me, sorry. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I hate that Rin is AGAIN getting Outfit Appreciation Award when she’s literally killing herself with stress and worry but... amazing wardrobe as always. 5 stars.

Is it just me or does every zodiac member see Tohru as a parental figure or associate her with motherhood, except for Kyo?...

*mentally notes essay of Tohru being the depiction of being a ‘merciful God’ compared to Akito being the decpiction of being a ‘vengeful God’*

Heartbreaking.

but... WHY DO THEY ALL HAVE TO HAVE PARENTAL ISSUES?!

Also, Briana Palencia in this scene was amazing. Everyone is so, so good in this show! Dub and sub!!

...I totally forgot about this bit of Rin’s backstory. I love that they really highlighted how drastic the change was from happy family to an abusive household. Obviously, there must have been some cracks in the frame of the happy family and Rin as a child was inquisitive enough to see them. ...Only for her to be later punished for it.

Kazuma!!! He and Tohru just be constantly saving these zodiac kids, man.

- Rin’s parents might just be at the same level as Kyo’s dad on the ‘WORST PARENTS OF THE ZODIAC CHILDREN’ list. Well... until later...

Beginning to understand why they’re so attached and bonded to each other now. <3

- Also, lowkey, Kagura’s mum is great! From her protecting Kagura from going to the beach house because of Akito to her taking Rin in without question! And she seemed completely cool with Kyo too! Yay to good parents in anime!!!

- The confession scene between Haru and Rin is so pure and blunt yet romantic and just... so them <3

- I’m not even gonna put any screencaps from the final scene with Akito because I find Akito is just disgusting. But, really? Pushing someone off the balcony?! I mean... I remember why Akito’s feelings for Rin are so strong and darkly intense but I still can’t excuse their actions. I kinda don’t like that they presented this very abusive and violent moment as... poetic? I mean, it matches Rin’s ‘style’, I guess? But... this is just someone going past the limit.

- And her landing like that on the conveniently pointy stone? I was surprised she didn’t damage her spine...

I’m so happy I’m watching Fruits Basket again! This anime really is the best! And it DESERVEDLY won Best Drama at the CrunchyRoll Anime Awards! Yayyyyy! Sorry, if this ended on a weird note, I did enjoy this episode. Just a very dark one to return to 😅

Life and Death

Part 1 (smut)

Before we start I would like to point out that I do not own these characters. This is a fanfiction based off the Webcomic Lore Olympus. Any characters I may add will be characters from Greek myths with a Lore Olympus twist. Also this is a very mature story, sex, abuse, some really heavy topics. At the beginning of each chapter I will post a recap and I am very open to suggestions and characters. Enjoy!

Persephone stood in the shower as the warm water ran against her pink skin. They had just gotten back from Apollo's trial, the verdict with him being guilty and forced to do unpaid labor for a hundred years. That wasn't enough...She felt rage built up inside her as Apollo only got a slap on the wrist for what he dared do to her. She felt vines grow from her growing hair as her eyes flashed red. Her anger was short lived however as she heard the door open. She knew it was him, she always knew when it was him.

"Shouldn't you be working...you missed your meeting because of me..." She pouted as she pulled her lover in the shower with her. They had only been together for three months but she felt safe with him. She always did. Although the reasoning that he missed his meeting wasn't the reason why she was sorry.

A morning with her walking around in some black underwear and heels while he got his paperwork together was just enough for him to push her against the wall and ravage her. She smiled at the thought as she looked up at him, her fingers already tracing the scars from his past. Her heart ached at what he went through but she tried her best to make up for what he had lost.

"Work can wait...I have to punish my subordinate. We really need to talk about your priorities..." He smiled as he leaned down and captured her lips. Recieving a delicious moan from Persephone.

"I'm sure we can come to an agreement..." She moaned against his lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck. A shiver went down her spine as his hands cupped her ass.

He reached behind him and shut the water as he lifted his darling girlfriend and carried her into their bedroom. His kisses went to her neck as she yanked on his hair gently. They were in a delicate war, constantly fighting over passion and love. It filled everything when they got like this; the walls, their bodies, their hearts. This war was slow and kind, unlike what he had with Minthe.

She landed on the bed with a groan as he I'm attacked the rest of her body. His mouth traveled down the goddesses body as her sweet whimpers filled the room. His lips went down to her breasts, full and beautiful, he teased her nipples and placed soft kisses as his hands rubbed her thighs.

"Hades..." Persephone whimpered as he touched and kissed everywhere except for her core. "You're not playing fair." She whimpered.

"I am your king sweetness, you shouldn't be concerned with what is fair." He nearly growled as he gave a slight tug to her nipple, causing a loud moan to escape the goddess of spring.

"H-Hades...darling..." She panted as his hands ever so slightly grazed her core. "Aidoneus...please..." She begged as he teased her.

"What do you need Kore, tell me..." Hades voice was gentle and calm as he pushed a finger inside of the goddesses cunt. "Use your words." He softly demanded as he continued to gently thrust his fingers in and out of her.

"You..." She whimpered as she made her needs clear. This morning was rough and frantic, not that she was complaining, but she wanted to love. To love him and feel his love back. "I want to love you..." She whispered.

Hades crawled over the young girl as he trailed kisses over her. Kore's legs wrapped around him as she finally got that moment of release. His member finally pushed through their folds as both of them let out a loud moan in unison. Hades's thrusts were slow and steady as he almost died from the noises that his goddess was making.

"Oh...Aidoneus!" She cried out as his thrusts started to speed up. The king kept his gentle pace but sped up to match his darling's movements.

"K-Kore...oh my..." He breathed into her skin as he felt his movements become sloppy. "I love you..." He mumbled into her hair as he kissed this one spot right below her ear.

"Oh fuck!" She screamed as he kissed and bit and focused on that one spot. He always drove her so crazy.

And there was the scream he was waiting for as he licked her neck, vanilla and honey, that's what she tasted and smelled like as he buried himself in her.

"I love you...I love you so much!" Persephone cried out as her nails dug into his back. She didn't mean to hurt him or be rough but she couldn't help it. She brought her hands to his hair as she gently pulled him to face her. "I want to look into my king's eyes as you make me cum." She whispered as she continued to let out whines and whimpers.

Hades obliged, he would never deny her. He would release his father from Tartarus, resign from being king, kill a thousand mortals if it would make her happy. Although she was a kind soul, she wasn't selfish or harmful like Minthe was. She actually took care of him and didn't care who or what he was. His eyes flashed red for a brief moment as he struggled to compose himself. He wanted this to be perfect for her and if it wasn't then how could he call himself a man.

However, Persephone knew her lover like she knew herself and granted him permission. "You can let go..." She whispered as she continued to cry his name.

That was all he needed before he started to fervently fucked her. He still tried to remain that passion that he tried to hold so dearly.

"Yes Aidoneus! Let go! Come on darling!" She cried out as she braced herself. It wasn't often that he was like this, but when he was she knew she should give him nothing but praise. "I-I'm...I'm...oh!" She screamed as she felt her orgasm rip through her. She felt her juices fall down her legs and onto his cock.

He growled as his body began to turn a darker blue, he was so beautiful this way. "Persephone!" He yelled as he felt his own release soon afterward. He collapsed on top of her as he panted. "That was..." He smiled as he laughed into her skin.

She sighed dreamily as she stroked his back and left kisses on his shoulder. "Thank you...um sweetheart." She said slowly, trying to be gentle with him.

"Yes my goddess..." He smiled as he rolled over, playing with a few strands of her hair.

"I love you..." She sighed as she traced his scars.

He said nothing but kissed her forehead sweetly. "As much as I love hearing that I know you're lying." He smiled as he held held her close.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I want to eat the fruit of your realm..." She whispered.

"No."

"But-"

"Absolutely not Persephone! You can't ruin your life."

"Hades...I want to stay here, with you..." She whispered as she felt a few tears in her eyes. "Don't you want that?" She asked.

"Of course I do...but...You're the goddess of spring, you need sunshine and fertile ground...I'm not going anywhere sweetness." He assured her as he rubbed her shoulder.

"Hades...Aidoneus...she'll make me come back...she doesn't know about us..." She sighed as she looked up at him with doe eyes.

Hades sighed as he pulled her close her head just tucked underneath his chin. He didn't want her to leave...but he knew that he couldn't force her to stay here. "I was saving this...well for the right moment..." He trailed off as he reached over and opened the bedside drawer. He pulled out a black charcoal ring with a morgranite stone in the shape of a tear drop. There was white embr around the ring itself. Persephone gasped as she stared at the ring, tears falling down her face. It was absolutely beautiful. "Marry me Kore..." His tone was almost begging.

Persephone only nodded, her mouth as open like she wanted to say something but couldn't. So she just kept nodding until a giggle erupted out of her. Hades smiled as a few tears fell down his cheeks as well. He slipped the ring on her finger as he leaned in and kissed her. He kissed her like this was the last kiss he would ever get from her. "I'm going to be your wife..." She smiled as she barely got the words out. She let the tears fall as she looked at her ring. How gorgeous it was and how much effort it took to make it.

"My queen..."

Tonight on Legend of the Hare: We're done with all the scary gory shit, which will never be seen or referenced again! This comic is a comedy!

Speaking of horrific nightmares, what the fuck is Molly wearing? Yellow socks on yellow tights with yellow shoes? Ew. I'm pretty sure I decided on this outfit myself, which is probably why it's a good idea that I have Sabu design outfits for my characters sometimes.

This page is honestly pretty worthless, except for the name-drop of Maeconolith who never ends up being explained and I'll talk about him when he actually shows up.

People who've read ahead may wonder why Molly is going to the docks when it's later revealed she has a teleportation stone. The answer is that to this very day I'm not entirely sure how you actually get from one layer of the tower to another. The individual layers are presented as if they're universes, where there's a sky above everyone instead of a roof. My backstory was that there were like these big Stargate things that connected all the layers to each other in peacetime, built by the horses (who were the "travel" people since you ride horses), and that during the....war?....the rabbits, dragons, and horses destroyed their gates to keep the rats out. This was actually alluded to in the lore posts under the original pages on the original site, but sadly those lore posts are all gone...

Ha ha, what the fuck, past me? Eacstais was another god from my DnD cosmology that I eventually dropped, the obligatory Cthulu god. What the fuck does this have to do with anything on this page, though? What the fuck is “Tetrest”? That sounds like Tetris, but the 4th layer is the rabbit one so what the hell? I have no memory of that.

The Lore Posts, which I've alluded to before, were bits of "lore"/worldbuilding under some pages, mostly written write as I was uploading the page. The whole idea was shamelessly ripped off from Kill Six Billion Demons, but in THAT comic the cosmology was directly related to the story whereas in mine it was mostly pointless piffle until eventually getting jokey. Oh my god, look at this

This is the post that went under page 2. This shit, which mentions the gates, Colm the previous Rabbit Champion, and the Dragon/Rabbit/Horse alliance, is under a page of Jill on a bed before any rabbits are introduced. See, I had plans! Not plans for the chapter or plans that would be at all helpful, but plans!

It even mentions a gate to the rat kingdom from "Emirpeta" which is almost certainly the Cat Kingdom layer in the ocean. The "-peta" part is also almost certainly "Nepeta" which is the scientific name for Catnip but lets be real here and admit that I apparently named a location in my first webcomic after a fucking Homestuck troll.

I literally only thought to check the internet archive as I'm writing this post and I'm all nostalgic and excited to learn what kind of bullshit I thought was cool in 2016 with all of you.

OC Review: Sheila Rahal

Hi! Oh jeez I’m a little nervous. So this is Sheila Rahal. She’s an OC for an idea of a web comic that I’ve had since last year that’ll take years to fully develop but here’s a start.

Webcomics are very common, but very few succeed. Just as a heads up, it’s gonna take a loooooooong time to develop these kinds of things. I’ve been helping another friend work on something similar, and 3 years into it, we still are trying to fill in plot holes and any other spots we may have missed in designing the story. We’re not even at the drawing or outlining yet.

She plays a bigger part later in the story but for now here’s what I have for her: - She’s dead currently but I’ll get to that later. In her backstory she is a 22 year old big city bombshell with a large influence on her city’s party scene. Like every celebrity birthday, every holiday-themed event, every party where there’s alcohol, she’s there.

I’d like to know what kind of world this story is taking place in as well as any other hazards about the country/world Sheila is living in. If it takes place in the United States present day, that would mean Sheila had about a year to become engrossed in alcohol and become popular enough to be invited to parties. I’d like to know more about the setting. It’s hard to review an OC when you don’t know much about the setting or story itself.

- Her party monster lifestyle was the subject of praise from a few but scrutiny from pretty much everyone else, tabloids say she’s a horrible influence, etc.

Again, how do tabloids get info on her if she has only been drinking for a year? More backstory on how she rose to celebrity status would be appreciated.

- After one insane party at a club, she clearly had drank way too much, but refused a taxi, insisting she drive home herself. This resulted in her crossing a red light and killing a pedestrian.

Who let this woman do this? Anyone with a sane mind would immediately say no to Sheila driving home.

- Waiting for the police, she pulled out a hidden flask she had in her bag and downed it all in one go.

Nice going, Sheila.

- She died from alcohol poisoning that same night, and woke up in a court room in Heaven. She was being tried for breaking one of the commandments (killing that guy) and was ultimately sentenced to eternity in Hell, where she turned into a demon.

I’m pretty sure drowning in alcohol would break some sort of rule in Heaven as well. Like a stated earlier, it’s hard to judge an OC if nothing is known about the world they live in. What do Heaven and Hell do? More information is needed to evaluate this topic. In addition, are all people tossed down to hell turned into demons?

- After a while in Hell, she gets bored of wandering around and she decided to get a job working in Satan’s army, because she saw a lot of her popular Hell-friends work there.

What is the army for? Hell, I would imagine, is a place where chaos and insanity is welcomed, and any sort of order or organization is shunned. In Hell, people don’t care. Satan would not need an army for any reason if Hell is a place for “freedom”. More work on the setting is greatly needed. (People in Hell do not give two f**** about taking care of others, that is why they are kind of in Hell)

- While working her way up the ranks, she learned of an elite position acting as the demons to people who are destined to go to Hell.

What? There are people destined to go to Hell? I really need more information regarding this. The entire story needs a ton of work. It’s quite difficult to understand what is happening if the background information on the world around and the rules and guidelines are not set in stone.

- She goes for it, because she sees and opportunity to go back to Earth and check on an old friend from her original life. She gets assigned to a newborn named Victoria. Victoria can summon Sheila with a specific pentagram and a drop of her blood (of course that’s something she learns later).

So some people are destined to go to Hell. Why and how is this decided? Would this also mean some people are destined to go to Heaven? Obviously there should be some exceptions. Also, what about Sheila’s family? Does she have one or are the dead or abandoned her?

- Sheila spends the first 18 years of Victoria’s life by her side, teaching her about Hell, and how “it’s not as bad as those books make it out to be” -actual Sheila quote from my script.

Is Victoria creeped out by this at all? A child being told they are destined to go to the underworld isn’t exactly pleasing to the ears. In addition, what about Victoria’s parents? Her family? Do they play a part in this?

- Sheila eventually receives a message from Satan that turmoil between Heaven and Hell is reaching its limit, and to prepare her human “host” for an upcoming war. Sheila gets to work recruiting Victoria, convincing her it’s worth it and help her find a hostage they can take to Satan in exchange for Royalty-status and treatment in Hell (which includes drinks).

Was there turmoil from long ago? How did this turmoil start? Why would there be any tension if Heaven and Hell are technically there to balance out the good and evil? A lot of information and events are unexplained. What about a hostage? The government in both Heaven and Hell need to be prepped as well. I would imagine a hierarchy in both places are not likely, especially since they are supposed to be places of freedom. People in Hell aren’t exactly going to approve of a Sheila in royalty status if she doesn’t do something that proves her position, and taking a hostage isn’t exactly worthy. Satan is satan because he strikes fear in those beneath them. Those that rise to the top in Hell do so because they are feared amongst others.

Basic OC details: - Dob: February 14th - Current age: 22 (has been for the last 30 years) - Height: 5′6″ (5′8″ with horns) - Species: Demon (assigned) - Voice: This is strange but I imagined Snooki from Jersey Shore

How is she assigned to be a demon if she is sent to hell to be a demon anyways? Are there different species in hell? And how are they “assigned”?

Personality Traits: - Loud and wild (but has sobered up in her afterlife)

I thought she still drank (royalty status, wanting drinks?)

- The one people describe as the life of the party - Rash and stubborn as demonstrated the night she died

I’m not sure that is stubbornness or rashness ‘cause she was kind of drunk.

- Kind of vain, but with her lifestyle, it’s a bit expected - Genuinely caring to those who matter to her (currently Victoria)

Trivia: - She had one true friends when she was alive and her name was Ella. Ella was with her in the car the day she killed that man in the street. Sheila was attempting to drive her home despite being drunk.

Why would Ella even allow her friend to drive her home knowing she isn’t sober? These are pretty messed up people. I need more information on what is happening with Sheila and Ella’s relationship and what their motivations are. Did Ella not stop Sheila because she wanted to die? There needs to be reason. Of course, Ella could have also been drunk.

- Another character talking about her: “She would spend her nights drinking away her problems. Funny thing was that her only problem in life was the drinking.” (This is just a quote I’m proud of from my script haha).

Mood.

- She lies about dying her hair, claiming she’s a natural blonde even though everyone can clearly see her roots are black.

Reminds me of RWBY in a sense, just the “natural blonde” part. She must be drunk all the time if she’s trying to convince people her hair is blonde when you can clearly see the black roots if she looked in the mirror.

- She is fond of Victoria; she claims she reminds her a bit of Ella, not in looks but in personality. She tries to prevent Victoria from binge drinking away her days, as she believes her death was “too tragic” and doesn’t want Victoria to die how she did; she would rather Victoria die in a “better” way.

How old is Victoria at this time? This goes back to the setting aspect of my review. If we are in the United States, the legal age of drinking is 21. Victoria should be noticed by authorities, or at least her family, if this happened.

- Her one major regret is not looking after Ella. She still isn’t sure what happened to her or if she’s alive or not.

I’d like to know everything about Ella because right now I know nothing.

- Her flask from the day she died was full of vodka.

Delicious.

- Victoria sometimes asks her just how much she drank that night that was not enough to kill her. Sheila says she’d rather not know.

Victoria seems wild. Like, all I know about her was that she was 18 at one point, but if she’s already drinking and stuff before... man she really is being set up for Hell. Why though?

- Even in her afterlife, her favorite drinks are Mojitos and any cocktail that’s more alcohol than fruit juice. She won’t admit it but she loves chocolate milk as well.

First you said she wanted to drink, then you said she’s sober, now this? I’d really like to know a solid answer.

- Her favorite food is sushi - She owned over 30 pairs of shoes. In her afterlife she came to find out those shoes and all her other belongings were auctioned off.

Who auctioned them off though? Ella? Her family?

I feel like this story has some potential. However, a LOTTTTTT more needs to be done in order to create a functional, good quality story without a large amount of plot holes. Sheila, I’m assuming, is the main character, yet her character itself needs to be edited in order to create a likable main character. Take Avatar the Last Airbender for example. Aang is a very likable main character, and his interactions with other characters in the story build his personality and development more and more. The story is fleshed out to where we know everything about the world they live in and tensions between different nations. I’d like you to use other stories such as Avatar as a guide in creating your Webcomic. It’s going to take a lot more time for you to fully develop the story and characters. However, after you’ve made all the necessary changes to the storyline, I would be happy to re-review Sheila and maybe the entire story itself!

1) Meaning of your username?

It’s,,,,a long story. I’ve told it a few times but another won’t hurt. So when I was in middle school I went through a lot of phases in shows and things I liked, but one constant were these ocs I had. One of them was basically a really cool self insert, and they were all dimension hoppers so I could stick them into whatever show I was into. At the time, I really liked Hero 108, so I stuck in my oc. In that universe she was the “Queen of the Faces” because she had masks of basically everyone and used them to disguise herself/act as a neutral party vigilante saving orphans to raise them away from war ahdfjk. Eventually my oc developed into somewhat of her own character, and I had a whole story about how they hopped into THIS dimension and met ME, their “creator” (which is also how I got my online alias but thats another tangent), and I decided that she would give ME the name because I gave myself like,,,,a superpower that let me copy other people’s abilities.

After the 6th grade I just kept it ‘cause it was cool sounding lmao

@ JTTW followers: I have to share another “obscure adaptation” I found last night. I’ve been cracking up over it the whole day. It’s a webcomic called The Master’s Demon Subduing Record and it can be read here. There’s also an animatic version that I haven’t finished watching yet. I’m not fond of the art LOL it’s kinda... jarring. But whoever’s behind this deserves kudos for the effort.

And I don’t know what’s funnier, the fact the author expects me to believe Wukong grew from a tiny neanderoid-head monkey into a King Kong lookalike or the truly EXTRA backstory he has. And it doesn’t suit how cutesy he’s drawn at all. He managed to cram all of this into Wukong’s origins and it must be seen to be believed. So far Wukong has:

Been sold as a pet, questionably used for slave labor, gotten cut up by vines, pecked by giant birds, stoned by children, chased by dogs, helped some old lady that turned out to be a harbringer of death who proceeds to massacre his master’s family/village, framed for murder, attacked by wolves, reenacted The Revenant (2016) when a family of bears scratched him up and left him to die, and impaled with an arrow.

^All of the above took place and he’s still not king of Flower Fruit Mountain. Supposedly, this is a story about how he lost his faith in humanity but so far, he’s still pretty happy go-lucky even though all of that happened LOL. I can’t even guess what could happen next.

Aesthetic: man. i. dunno. i really like photography and illustration but i don’t think that falls under a specific “aesthetic frequency” as tumblr would define it. also love everything greece and egypt-related, anything with gardens and marble/stone structures is an instant yes for me (corolary: severly math influenced imagery, such as sky maps with constellations, circular imagery, everything related to the movement to the planets). So I GUESS it’s nature + greek + egyptian + astronomy + math. that’s very me.

Hogwarts House: pffff uhhhh. the first test i took in pottermore in 2011 got me in hufflepuff which was just a disgrace for me at the time, ever since i don’t really know but for a couple of years already i’ve felt that it’s either slytherin or ravenclaw, but I think the choosing of one of these houses is extremely influenced by the characters in the story and the slytherin/gryffindon=>evil/good dichotomy presented in the story so i don’t know what to feel.
