Hmm, not sure, but I think it took me a year and half? And it's not like the journey of developing it is over. I've been drawing since I remember but I was mostly striving for a 'realistic painting' style. It wasn't until about a year and a half ago that I decided to go into more 'comic' style and linework. And I think it keeps changing, as I keep experimenting with the brushes, tools etc... My taste and inspiration also change and that surely has an impact on my art.

I like to compare my works to see if anything changes (hopefully for the better)

I was inspired by  Sarah Pucill ‘s collage style within her film. I experimented with stop animation with the film camera. I took a bottle of parfume saw it as a symbol of glamour. I covered it in pearls and painted  a picture of a rabbit on the place where a label would be. I gradually destroyed the painitng to make it look like the rabbit was melting. every three shots I flicked the switch on the camera that lets in less light, so when played back the image will flash. I chose a rabbit because its a symbol found on products when they havent tested on animals. I looked into some of the products used in parfume and there contains lots of odd things from animals. This shows the grotesque in glamour showing we will do anything, the most discusting things for beauty and glamour.
