Today I reach out to all Tumblr users to address a matter of utmost importance. As you may already know, the fanfiction Heatwaves completely changed the mcyt fandom as it is today. Countless pieces of fan art, fanfiction, edits, videos, playlists, articles, animations, and other types of media have been inspired by the fic. The fic amassed so much attention that it nearly held the most amount kudos on the archive, second only the the infamous fic 'I am Groot.' of today, Heatwaves and its sequel, Helium, were deleted from the archive by their author, tbhyourelame.

The two fics brought comfort, joy, laughter and love; to me, and to thousands of others. I am forever grateful that the universe allowed me to cross paths this fandom and all of its works. So Thank you.

Please, if anyone, happens to have downloaded PDF of Heatwaves and/or Helium because they are the smartest person in this universe giving Einstein a run for his money, please, please send me a copy. You'll have my eternal gratitude and I will cherish you forever.

do you ever read a fanfic that turns you inside out, and look to the author’s notes to find their social media handles? to see if they’re still around today, what they’re doing, to message them and let them know that their writing changed something in you. and it’s a blank blog, a deactivated handle, no way to know where they’ve gone to now.

maybe i passed them at the grocery store this weekend. maybe they got accepted into the same college as my sister, on the other side of the country. maybe i reblogged a funny post by them on their new account. maybe they have kids now and i will one day teach them how to write the alphabet so that they too, one day, can share stories with the world.

Marauders fans, I need some help. I’ve never posted to tumblr but I want to find a name of a deleted wolfstar fic. The author was tbhyourlame. I knew they deleted Heat Waves and Helium but I went back to re-read their wolfstar fic and realized it was gone too!! It was about Teddy reading an annotated version of The Picture of Dorian Gray per the request of Harry and realizing the boys are were in love!!
