OHOHOHO YES!!!! i LOVE THIS CONCEPT!!!!

Childe's half transformation usually happens when Foul Legacy is too tired to keep his full form but desperately wants to see you- which is pretty often. it's a little confusing at first, seeing your half-transformed beloved switch between Foul Legacy and Childe's consciousness, but there's one telling sign as to who's talking to you: the eyes. when Childe's speaking, his eyes are a deep azure blue, normally lightless and empty but regaining a small glint whenever he looks at you fondly. when it's Foul Legacy, his eyes turn lighter, almost like a gemstone, and are speckled with little stars. there are a few other things- Childe will speak with words while Legacy chitters and purrs from somewhere within his chest- but you know they're both there

you're rather torn on this half-form, because on one hand, Foul Legacy is actively hurting himself by not resting, but on the other hand, it's REALLY nice to be able to hug them both at once. it feels like you're getting two embraces for the price of one, and seeing Childe's face with sharp, shark-like teeth always makes you laugh. he has a habit of pulling you into his lap and wrapping the remainder of his cape around you, nuzzling his nose against your neck. hearing Childe murmur that he loves you as well as Legacy's sweet croons is like a soothing melody as you snuggle closer and shut your eyes, ready for a nice long nap

you'll wake up with Childe by your side, completely himself, Foul Legacy finally hunkering down to rest, and the Eleventh Harbinger just stares at you adoringly, whispering that both of them love you so much

Okay so seeing your Dojoshipping stuff and also Zisu and Zoroark stuff I can’t help but wonder what her Zoroark would think of Ingo. Childe starts bugging you the minute he finds out, trying to get you to spar with him- he promises he'll be careful! no limbs lost, cross his heart! and you just keep refusing over and over again, since you're here on vacation, not to do more work. you enjoy fighting, yes, but it's not the ONLY thing you like doing. but he just keeps asking and poking and pleading to spar a little; it's been so long since he had a worthy sparring partner, and the Traveler is off somewhere across the world.

finally you cave with a groan when he gives you his best pout, facepalming when he immediately lights up and runs off to get his weapons. you're evenly matched without his Vision, the fight ending only after you've playfully complimented each other to the Abyss and back, both of your cheeks warm as you press your blade to his neck and he points an arrow at your throat. you glare at each other, then break into fits of laughter, the praise coming out genuine and easy as Childe picks himself off the ground and holds a hand out to you

it doesn't take long for your friendship to progress enough to where Childe trusts you to see Foul Legacy, trusting you to not scream when his form shifts into an Abyssal beast- and you don't, only watching with wide eyes as Legacy blinks and tilts his head, slowly lowering himself to your height with a tentative chirp. you wave at him, and Childe's monstrous half brightens and begins to purr, pushing himself insistently into your hands. he's much gentler than Childe is, countering the Harbinger's boisterous confidence with sweet affection and a need for snuggles at all times- an excellent way to unwind after a long day of fighting, both with opponents and occasionally Childe during your breaks. you don't mind though, he always gets you food, and Foul Legacy is always there to greet you at after the battles are said and done <3
