Mhm yeah, he will do anything and I mean ANYTHING to keep you safe.

He loves you, a lot A LOT, he likes to worship and compliment you anytime anywhere baby.

He isn't overly jealous when you are around women like Shuna, or Shion, or any female/woman in the nation.

But for the men let's just he's a bit cautious around them, he trusts his men like Benimaru, Souei, Diablo, Hakurou, Geld and more to be around you since they know Rimuru is obsessed with you.

He makes sure you are protected and loved by his nation, his people? They cherish and love you! They sure you are included in activities that aren't very dangerous for you to not get hurt, knowing their Lord hates you being hurt or anything in general.

When he isn't around for awhile, he orders his Black Numbers Diablo, Ultima, Carrera, and Testarossa to guard you to make sure no one dangerous can even touch a single hair strand of yours.

He's overly sweet and gentle with you, when he sees you he immediately melts like the slime he is.

He loves being close to you or touching you, cuddling in his human form or slime form? Yes sir! Sitting in his lap during a conference/meeting with his subordinates? Definitely!

He will give you anything he brings back from his travels, jewels, fabrics that he thinks you will like and will ask Shuna to make it for you, anything!

Even after his evolution as a True Dragon, now that he's much powerful than ever when he was a True Demon Lord back then. He will protect you with everything he has.

During the war between the Eastern Empire aka the Great Tenma War, he received news that you were in a comatose state because of your Magicules overloading which caused a medium-scale Magicule explosion, he was glad that some of his subordinates were there to fix the mess from the explosion around the area while the others were taking care of you and watching over you.

After the war, you woke up and saw Rimuru in his new profound power and title as the fifth True Dragon mostly now known as Chaos Creator.

He's glad that you're fine now, but for now he chose to be around you after that explosion when he got informed about it, but luckily with the help of his Manas Ciel, she managed to get your Magicules flowing naturally now.

Overall, he's very caring and sweet but he's willing to do anything in his power to keep you safe and sound from any dangers or anyone who dares to take you away from him.

I completely forgot about this in my drafts for weeks, and I didn't notice since I got too busy with personal stuff so I'm really sorry for the late post!

Guys, I actually need Dad Ukai so bad, especially with Hinata 🙁🙁🙁 there are NO fics of Ukai being a dad, and istg I've read them all!! Theres I think like a 3 part series where Hinata's mom dies and Ukai takes him and Natsu in, and then there's a, like, 15 chapter fic in which Ukai acts like a dad to every member on the team, including Kiyoko and Yachi, and it's so sweet, but aside from those that's it!! Like Hinata is fr so fatherless!! Give him a dad please!! And make it Ukai!! Or Takeda!! Bc Takeda comforting Hinata after Komemadai (idk if I spelled it right) and saying "it's still volleyball" AHHHHHHHH. NO NO NO NO. I am ripping my hair out and violently sobbing. I am a sucker for found family tropes, and yes, Hinata has the Karasuno volleyball team as his family, but we're NOT including Ukai or Takeda????? I need them like fucking Irondad and spiderson. I saw a tiktok (@v3lleityy on tiktok) where Ukai tells Hinata he's proud of him and then Daddy Issues by The Neighborhood starts playing and IT SO REALLLLL Like this is what I need!!!!! Omg I also read this one fic, and it wasn't really Ukai or Takeda, but it was FUCKING TENMA UDAI TAKING CARE OF HINATA LIKE AN OLDER BROTHER AND ISTG IT WAS SO GOOD. Basically Hinata was jealous and upset when Kageyama was invited to the camp and he wasn't getting any better and he was just kinda stuck, so he punched out a window in Ukai's shop, and so he was taken to the police station, and when Ukai comes to take him home he's not angry, and when Hinata asks him why, he apologizes for not noticing his feelings earlier 🙁🙁, and then later he meets Tenma during a storm, and he begs Tenma to train him, so instead of sneaking in, he trains with Tenma. It's such a sweet fic and if anybody wants the names to any of the ones I mentioned just lmk and I'll see if I can find them!!

We seriously don’t talk enough about Dr Reichwein. He was a father to Tenma, Nina and Dieter, he literally adopted the three of them.

I just know they lived together happily at the end.

I mean, Reichwein lived alone before they came to his life, I know Reichwein felt a little bit lonely but at the end I just know he feels happier with them.

He was more of a father to Tenma than his own parents, he was always there when Tenma got arrested. And Reichwein always took care of Nina when she had her PTSD episodes. Plus, the way he cared for Dieter it was so sweet, like a grandpa and grandson 😭

I love thinking of them on Christmas Day, halloween, Easter, their birthdays, Dieter’s first day of school, Dieter’s soccer games, going on vacation.

Stop. Found family is my favorite trope.

If you go and talk to him about feeling upset due to other people's behavior, instead of confronting them he would go to an adult, I think

He worries that you're too busy taking care of others than yourself, so he makes sure to take good care of you

He does not hesitate to protect you or comfort you because you can't protect yourself from the bullies

He would also make sure to constantly remind you to take care of yourself, like to stop giving up your lunch just because someone who had a lunch was still hungry

☆~Tsukasa Tenma

He would always, always make sure you’re doing everything you’re supposed to in order to take care of yourself, and he constantly worries about you because he doesn’t want anything to happen to you

Picking fights with anyone that tries to hurt you

So so sweet though

If he sees you give someone else your lunch he’ll split an entire half of his lunch for you

He’ll always be there next to you if you need a shoulder to cry on, and he’ll always offer his support to make sure you’re not suffering in your own feelings

If he catches anyone being rude to you he’ll yell insults at them and then take you away from them

♡ HEADACHES - Akito Shinonome, Toya Aoyagi, Tsukasa Tenma and Rui Kamishiro x Reader

Akito:

Akito is...weirdly perceptive when it comes to headaches-

He spends a majority of his time in loud, booming live houses, so he's had his fair share of headaches

As a result, he usually carries around some kind of medicine to help out with headaches, which he's more than willing to share with you!

He notices the signs whenever you're having a headache, and tries his best to take you to a quiet, dark area to calm the headache down a bit

This is one of the times you'll see his really caring side, which can be weird especially earlier on in the relationship. He would just wave off your confusion with a flushed face <3

Toya:

Toya is also pretty familiar with headaches considering what he does

Going from classical to street music is a massive change in terms of volume, so his headaches used to be bad

He picks up the habit of carrying headache medicine from Akito, and makes sure to carry around a bottle of water at all times. He will offer both to you in a heartbeat.

He gets overly worried whenever you do get a headache though, dragging you off to a quieter area to check you over and make sure you're alright

It's kinda cute to see his face scrunched up in worry as he gently massages your shoulders, hoping that relaxing will help your headaches <3

Tsukasa:

Tsukasa is...Tsukasa. Arguably the worst person on this list to be around with constant headaches-

He's loud as is, and he works in a theme park. He's practically immune to the majority of headaches

Of course, when you tell him about your headaches, he tries to help you out to the best of his abilities! He asks Toya and Saki for tips they have for headaches-

There are multiple times where he's loudly exclaiming and rambling, but the moment he catches even the slightest wince from you, he stops immediately

He'll drop his voice to a whisper, asking in a soft voice if there's anything he can do. It's really sweet in all honesty! <3

Rui:

Rui is Rui, but he isn't exactly as bad as Tsukasa is!-

He works with a lot of loud machinery, so all of the headaches he usually had when he was younger just kind of...faded the more he was in his workshop

It's easy for him to just keep you out of his workshop, paying attention to anything else that could make your headaches worse instead

He's really tempted to make something that'll help your headaches but keeping a drone constantly by your head could make them worse-

So, he settles for helping you out in any way he can. He can use his drones to carry your headache help bag! <3

WANSHO PHYSICAL TOUCH HC (because somehow I haven't talked about it here but I made a fic about it ages ago)

This is a pretty long one so bear with me!!

🌟

Tsukasa is generally a touchy guy, but only with people close to him; The closer they are to him the more likely he'll engage in physical affection. The level of it would also be different, like with school friends he would give the occasional shoulder bumps, close friends like wansho gets cuddle privileges and small—almost casual—kisses all the time, Toya gets some headpats and hugs whenever they meet, with Saki and Shizuku he's just straight up glued to them when they spend time together their hands would not let go

Tsukasa touches instinctively, there's no real way for him to stop it. If he feels someone is important to him they're going to get hugged or any other type of physical affection, it's just ingrained into his brain at this point. I just feel like touch is a persistent thing in Tsukasa's life and it stems from his childhood, the Tenmas are very affectionate!

He's very give and not take about it, so he doesn't mind not receiving any physical affection in return but he won't refuse it either

If put into words Tsukasa's touch means reassurance, both for himself and for others; It's him unconsciously saying "I'm here, and you're here. We're together!" I think it fits with his entire character of wanting to be a guiding light and a source of smiles for others <3

🍬

Touch is Emu's entire love language, it's how she shows people she loves them! Emu has a lot of love to give so this directly affects her way of showing physical touch; it's persistent, it's all encompassing, it's intense. She tackles people to the ground and gives bone crushing hugs as she should!! Also when she catches a person she just doesn't let go she's super clingy, she'll be having lunch with Honami and she's squeezing her arm the entire time

Because of that, though, Emu is very very aware of her touches. I think her family would point it out all the time with how intense she is (especially Shousuke). Her touch is a loud yell of "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW IT!" but not everyone can withstand the intensity of it so she tries to hold back and not let herself get too excited. She doesn't want to accidentally hurt her friends and family, after all

She's very much a give and receive kind of person, but she very rarely directly asks for physical affection even if she really wants it. What she does is doubling her effort in giving others physical affection in the hopes of receiving some in return (This always works with Tsukasa and Hinata btw so she usually targets them when she feels especially touchy)

Nene is touch avoidant because the feeling of people touching her makes her uncomfortable, especially towards accidental touch from people she doesn't know. Basically things she can't anticipate and brace for would be the worse ones, while touches from friends are less so.

Because of how affectionate Emu and Tsukasa are she feels really bad about this, she wishes touch doesn't make her feel bad but the two honestly doesn't mind. They try to find other ways to show her affection, they just want her to be happy and comfortable around them :)

I think somewhere along the line she—with the help of wansho—figures out that she's mostly okay with touch if she's the one to initiate it or if it's something small with people she trusts (pinkie holding is my favourite example). Later on she realises that if she can anticipate the touch she's more comfortable with it; something rehearsed and specific that's communicated beforehand. They use this technique for theatre!

She's a give only and rarely receives kind of person because of the whole 'she's fine with initiating physical affection' thing. Her touch means "I care about you so I'm putting in effort to get out of my comfort zone for you" and it's a very sweet sentiment, please be gentle with her

🎈

Rui is the very definition of touch starved and desperate, but also he can't handle the slightest bit of skin touching him without blacking out for a few seconds he's so pathetic about it. He's just not used to getting physical affection other than from... maybe his parents, Nene herself is hesitant to do it when they were younger, so he didn't really have anyone to rely on for it

So Rui has this conflicting want for affection but being unable to handle it and then paired with a very clingy Emu and instinctively touchy Tsukasa, it's a great combination I hope he combusts into flames. Emu also realises this and weaponises it against him.

This doesn't apply to theatre by the way, he focuses too hard on creating a good show that he doesn't realise it when he's literally caressing Tsukasa's arms while trying to get him to the right position. It's like having tunnel vision, basically

He's mostly a receiver rather than a giver because he would rather make a contraption to show his affection. The problem is, just like Emu, he doesn't know how to directly ask for physical affection—this may stem from self doubt; if he even deserves it. Bless Emu with her empathic powers she can sense this want and eagerly uses it against him <3

I think after some amount of time he would eventually get used to touch and become unbearably clingy, he's making up for 18 years of touch deprivation

I couldn't stop thinking since your post about wxs parents, or more specifically the tenma parents, bc they actually interest me a lot

Because like, the tenma mom DOES actually come up sometimes in saki and tsukasa's side stories and an area conversation. And not just the fact she taught them to play piano, i mean more familial situations. She even appears by herself and it's usually when they're at the house and she seems really sweet and caring actually

And also whenever Tsukasa brings her up (which he seems to do more often than Saki? Or at least from the stories I've read, i might be wrong) he speaks of her in a way that seems quite fond and might imply that she is around at the house at least usually

In contrast, though, the tenma dad almost NEVER comes up. Like the only time I remember him being mentioned (that is NOT about tsukasa bringing up That Show they watched as kids or the family visiting saki at the hospital bc that's obvious they're there) was once in the hinamatsuri event about how he bought the doll stand and some helmet when they were little? smth about how he impulse buys things

And that was it. He didnt even appear

He's never actually appeared by himself at the house or any side story to my knowledge (do correct me if I'm wrong) and he doesn't SEEM to be around the house on a daily basis at all

Even in the past when tsukasa stayed at home alone it was tenmama he got calls from, at least the one they showed us

Tenpapa's job is also never mentioned unlike tenmama's. And like tenmas are implied to be at least somehow recognisable or respected of a family, or at the very least by people like the Aoyagis since they are always stated to hold them in such regard, but is it just about tenmama playing the piano? Or maybe there's smth more about the dad that we don't know?

He's just. Such an enigma. We barely have any crumbs. Even in that image of baby tenmas seeing a show for the first time from the beginning of wxs main story shows a little bit of tenmama, like we can see her hair and all, but we can only see tenpapa's hand

It's just... where is he?? At work? What does he do?? Why don't they talk about him that much??? Why won't they show him in side stories??? Am I reading too much into it???

He makes me so mad pls Sega tell me more about the tenma family im insane about them

Anyway tsukasa and saki definitely love their parents and at the very least the mom seems like a rly caring and overall present person in their lives. They never say anything bad about the dad either if they ever do. They seem like good parents overall. The whole tsks neglect thing, yes, of course it wasn't a good decision to leave him alone at home, but it doesn't make them bad. Tsukasa never even mentioned anything that could imply he holds it against them and ik he is stupidly forgiving sometimes and sometimes forgets about himself but still. You get me. Besides we don't really know the extent of it all so shsuhd

my top ten favourite PJSK events so far!! (no particular order)

- A Once-In-A-Lifetime Pandemoniun

in general, i love silly little school trip moments!! Pandemonium was just lovely. Rui and the three friends he made <333 2-B boys you will always be famous to me. the surprised Pikachu face Rui pulled every time they were nice to him and included him in their banter, literally wanted to sob. Airi and Tsukasa having to stop Shizuku and Rui wandering off. Shizuku and Tsukasa childhood memories. and of course- well, look at my icon. not to mention the CARD SET??? absolutely beautiful. adore the yokai theme, Rui and Shizuku's cards nearly offed me. i stared at them for a good five minutes when they were first leaked

- No Seek, No Find

this is one of the few events that made me cry. Saki, you will always be my favourite Tenma <3 her frustration while being stuck in the hospital, her fear of being left behind, the unfairness, her loneliness, her guilt for worrying her family, her desire to be "normal"- it was heartbreaking. the card set hits so hard too, my favourite L/n cards. and Tera Tera is always in my head, Saki's solo >>>>

- My Colour

this event literally made me fall in love with Shizuku, i wasn't particularly interested in her too much before. the pressure put on her but then how she finally let herself act like herself <33 she's so hardworking and sweet, live laugh love, Shizuku Hinomori. the cards are so pretty, Shizuku looks so angelic in hers <3 and her solo of Colour of Drops sounds lovely as always too even if it's not a song i care about too much

- Musical Twilight Parade

LEO/NEED AND WONDERLANDS X SHOWTIME!! MY TWO FAVE UNITS HAD A CROSSOVER <33333 I LOVE THEM. the card set was underwhelming yes (only really like Rin's) but!! W x S as tour guides... the shenanigans... literally has one of my favourite moments of all time of Rui teaching the L/n girlies how to trespass, he's such a good influence, isn't he <33 OH YES AND ICHINENE'S FIRST MEETING!! THEY WERE SO AWKWARD AND SHY AROUND EACH OTHER AND NOW THEY'RE SO QUIETLY HAPPY WHEN THEY BUMP INTO EACH OTHER. THEY MEAN SO MUCH TO ME. also, it's a Shiho event so. winner!!

- Don't Lose Faith

Leo/need. Leo/need Cryptonloids. they're all so sweeeet. i love L/n Rin so much <333 i can't put into words why, but i just really like the event story, them training for their concert in Sekai and all with the support of Miku and Co. the cards were really cool (more lims should have dyed hair...) and so is the song, Voices. another Shiho win!!

- A Sorrowful Farewell at the Curtain Call

it's the only event that's got Asahi Genbu in it. that. that is it. oh yeah and W x S was threatened with divorce or something. BUT ASAHI <3 cards were interesting... i like the symbolism but they don't particularly like. interest me greatly? What Sort of Ending Are You Wishing For isn't one of my fave fave songs either... yeah, it was mainly the story that carried this event for me!!

- Insatiable Pale Colour

ENA. ENA. ENA. INFINITELY GREY MAKES ME CRY. ENA SHINONOME YOU ARE SO IMPORTANT TO ME. HER STRUGGLES HIT SO HARD </333 also,,, Shinonome siblings </3 the cards are prettyyyy. they suit the vibe of the event so well. ONCE AGAIN. INFINITELY GREY. beautiful song, the last chorus makes me so emotional. how Ena sounds like she's screaming in desperation throughout...

- Welcome to the Forest of Wolves

i adore Miyajou 1-A <33333 appreciated the VBS friendship in it too!! but mainly KohaMinoShiho being the trio ever. cards? beautiful. i adore fairy tale stuff SO much. poor Kohane accidentally causing a scene all around school, bless her <333

- Exciting Picnic

FAIRY. FAIRY CARD SET. FAIRY CARDS. FAIRY MIZUKI. LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE COSTUME-LESS PERMAMENT CARD. ahem. anywayssssss. Ena <33333 and Shizuku <3333 and Rui <333 MY TOP THREE CHARACTERS?? IN THE SAME EVENT??? what are the chances of it ever happening again </3 oh yes Mizuena... Ena cares so much for Mizukiiiiii they're sooooooo zvsbjdodoskkqkallapalqllaa ALSO ENA DEFENDING SHIZUKU FROM HER PUSHY WEIRD BITCH FANS???? I LOVE ENA SHINONOME. oh and surely you don't think i forgot that it was SHIZURUI'S FIRST MEETING? <3

- Island Panic

- THIS EVENT STORY FELT LIKE A FEVER DREAM. IT WAS SO CHAOTIC AND SILLY AND SO VERY W X S <333 there's so many golden scenes in it. Rui threatening to "sleep the big sleep" if he's made to eat veg. them forming a human pyramid that was nearly ruined by Tsukasa having the audacity to sneeze. Shosuke Otori character development. the only card i really liked was Emu's and Starry Sky Melody isn't one of my favourite songs but the story makes up for it!!

Kyosuke adores you for who you are and at heart you make his brother happy.

He doesn't tell you much about his improvements because he would like to surprise you when he improves so much.

But he's a guy who listens a lot.

With his calm personality he always manages to give you good advice on how to deal with the situations you tell him about.

Uhhhh anyways! If possible, could I request a Toya, Akito, Rui, and Tsukasa (separate obv) with a gn reader who literally cannot sleep with 1) something in their arms, and 2) atleast something the reader can hear (whether itd be music, a normal conversation, a tv playing, anYTHING)

Also heres two little scenarios if you have a hard time trying to figure out what to do with this request: 1) them cuddling their s/o while either singing or just talking with the reader, or maybe just a song playing or a channel going off on the tv. 2) when they get home at like 10pm they just find the reader sleeping with a squishmallow and a spotify playlist going off from their phone. Or 3) after they finish talking to someone on the phone, they go to theirs' and s/o's shared room just to find them sleeping peacefully with a squishmallow (next thing they know its because they were talking to someone on the phone)

-Goodness he is so tiny, so very tiny, 1-3 age range. The ittiest bittiest little guy, probably the littlest of the prsk kids, goodness don't get me started he is just so small-

-He's not overly embarrassed or ashamed of regressing, it's just a part of him, no reason to beat himself over something he can't control. He does feel a bit bad admitting he's feeling small though, he doesn't want to bother anyone with it or make them mad at him, especially if it's somehow he hasn't been little around before. Thankfully he's surrounded by people who help him feel more comfortable, so he's getting a bit better at telling others if he's regressed.

-Stress is normally what makes him slip, especially things regarding his family. He's also the type to feel little when sleepy, he's practically guaranteed to feel small after a long event with VBS.

-I like to think that the rest of VBS and the Tenma siblings have been working to help Toya experience all of the things he wasn't able to in his childhood, so every so often they'll take him out to do something or buy him something that instantly makes him feel tiny

-Akito and Tsukasa are his main caregivers, he's more comfortable with them than with anyone else. Kohane, An, and Saki take care of him sometimes too, but he's a bit shy with them, clinging to either "Aki" or "Niichan" if they're with him, or his blankie or stuffy. The Virtual Singers act as CGs for him every now and then as well, they make him feel really safe as well ♡

-An absolutely calm and quiet little guy, only speaking in a few words or babbles, it's very rare to find him without his paci and a lovey. Extremely cuddly when compared to his big self, even though he's a bit shy with asking for things he will always be willing to ask for uppies from Tsukasa or Akito!

-Even though he still isn't that emotive, he's a lot more so when he's little, though he's also a bit of a sensitive little guy. The smallest good things will send him beaming and giggling, the littlest bad things could make him tear up, he's a lot more scared of people getting upset with him in this state. However, he's relatively easy to cheer up, just give him cuddles or spend time with him and he'll be a very happy little guy, or reassure him that you'd never get mad at him.

-Still a little bookworm when he's small, sometimes he can read to himself but usually he'll have a CG or playmate do so for him, he's absolutely entranced by the tales they tell. Sometimes he tries to tell stories of his own, and whoever's listening to him will listen to every word (even of most of them are babbles).

-He's a bit nervous about playing, especially with other regressors. He wasn't really allowed to as a kid, what if he does it wrong? (Honey that's not a thing please-) Other little guys always work their hardest to include him in whatever they're doing, Toya's super fun, even if he doesn't realize it himself!

-Those who know about his little side absolutely *spoil* him, anything he wants they'll give him. He only has a very small supply of little stuff hidden under his bed (just a paci, a sippy cup, a little blankie, and a plushie or two from the Tenmas), but they keep a lot at Akito's house or in the Sekai. He's unintentionally very good at puppy-dog eyes, the quietest little "p'ease?" will get him almost anything-

-Unlike his big self, he has a decently big sweet tooth, especially towards cookies. In the very rare chance he misbehaves (it's very uncommon, if it happens another little one put him up to it) offering him a cookie will get him to stop right away.

Thinking about being such a Demon Slayer fan that you literally have every merchandise possible: posters, figurines, plushies, magnets, haori and even the character's accessories. You've even dyed your hair in (character)'s iconic colour scheme and style.

But that wasn't enough for you, so you decided to go to Japan. Hey, the tourism was good, and if you got to buy and explore more of your favourite anime, bonus!

So you arrive and wander the streets gawking in awe with full shopping bags in your hands, humming Gurenge under your breath. You were so lost in your daydreams you slam into someone - sorry, two people.

Cue your apologies as you scramble to your feet, but a melodic voice interrupts you with assurances that it was alright as two pairs of hands help pick up your fallen items. You look up to see a pair of petite sisters with matching blue-tinged hair and smiles.

"That's a nice hairpin!" Was what the elder and taller of the two called out as they continued to walk past you, and you self consciously raise a hand to the Kocho family butterfly pin in your hair.

You continue your walk downtown, strolling past screens with the world famous Tenma Uzui's face plastered on it as he lifted his latest medal and advertised products. At the toy store you had paused to look into, three youngsters rushed out with their newfound prizes in hand.

"Sabito! Give it back!"

"Hey, you already said we'd swap!"

"Until Makomo said she'd give me hers!"

You glance at them out of the corner of your eye and laugh seeing them fight over the colours of the warding masks. An old man with a red face mask stepped out of the shop shortly after and began to shepherd the trio away.

Seeing the Gashapon machines inside the store, you decide to step in too, but before you could the door flew open and a short, purple-haired man tumbled out. Clearly he had been kicked out but he wasn't taking the hint.

Inside the shop an exasperated but still polite voice echoed. "For the last time, Enmu, that toy train is for display only."

"I'll buy it someday!" Enmu declared cheerfully as if this were a regular occurrence and simply brushed himself off and headed to the direction of the nearest station.

You shrug and quit your side eyeing, venturing inside. The red haired shopkeeper looked up from the counter, his formerly poker face transforming into a bright smile that matched the red sun of his hanafuda earrings. "Hi, are you looking for anything? Tourist?"

Sheepishly you replied and casually asked Yoriichi, as he had introduced himself, for any recommendations on where to eat for lunch.

"Oh, you should try the diner down the road! It's family run - Mrs. Iguro is very sweet and they're very famous for their sakura mochi! My wife Uta and I frequent there, so just tell them I sent you."

That sounded good to you, so you thanked him along with your exchange of tokens, then asked for directions.

"It's right on front of where my brother works, Kibutsuji Enterprises. It's a huge office, you can't possibly miss it."

"Kibutsuji Enterprises...? I think I've heard of them, run by Kagaya Ubuyashiki right?"

"Oh, no, don't get confused, they're rival companies actually. The Ubuyashiki company has a wisteria as its logo."

A little confusing, but alright! You thanked him profusely once again and left, making your way through the busy streets to the diner.

You thanked your lucky stars you got there on one piece, for there was a motorbike zooming and booming through the crowds without a care for law or life just now as you were walking. Thankfully you had jumped back just in time before they could mow you down. From what you could see in the racing blur there appeared to be a green-haired young boy dressed in a crimson shirt with a manic smile on his face and a screaming white-haired girl clutching onto him for dear life driving. You hoped the two scarred faced policemen would catch them - no doubt, actually, seeing as they were both already brandishing guns and chasing after the two with furious speed .

"SHABANA, YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET FINED AGAIN!"

"I DON'T GIVE TWO FXXKS, SHINAZUGAWA!"

"Yeah, that's right, Onii-chan!"

You pass a school bus dropping off a bunch of tiny preschoolers, herded and fretted over by their hulking giant of a teacher. His wooden bead necklace matched yours, clacking together as he urged the kids to stay together. How cute... although such a big man being so kindly was a little unnerving.

"Oh? Want to try our signature Eternal Paradise perfume? We guarantee you'll have anyone falling for you with it!'

You ignore the blonde salesman leaning outside his store. He peered over his rainbow tinted sunglasses to catch you rolling your eyes and with a fake gasp of hurt he grabbed his chest. You snort and continue walking.

Mrs. Iguro was just as welcoming as Yoriichi had promised, although you were rather caught off guard by her bright pink and green hair and the fact she was carrying a whole stack of plates and balancing a baby at the same time.

"Hi!!! Welcome, do take a seat, what can I get you? Obanai's special for today is Western food - oh wait, silly me, you're not from around here, are you? I expect you'd want something local! Coming right up!"

You can't help but be buoyed by her bubbly nature, waiting patiently with a contented grin. You look around the diner and while the snake ornament at the counter catches your eye you find yourself studying the other customers instead.

A pair of identical twin boys eat quietly, with a younger boy with rosy cheeks noisily chatting with them; evidently a playdate of some sort.

"Don't forget, Kotetsu, you're paying because you lost the last shoji match."

"Aw, Tokito, you're such a seaweed head. I'm just a beginner!"

"Brother's a seaweed head, not me."

"HEY! WE LOOK THE SAME!"

You chuckle and your gaze strays to the other table, where a family of three ate their ramen. Their son seemed a little paler than normal and you couldn't help but overhear the mother's worrying.

"Darling Rui, don't eat so fast, you might choke and you just recovered!"

Embarrassed at your eavesdropping you duck your head and look at the other table where a group of rowdy students sit and snack.

"YOSHITERU AGATSUMA, HOW DARE YOU BURP LIKE THAT IN PUBLIC!"

"It was an accident, Toko! I can't control it!" Was the whining answer. "KANATA, DEFEND ME! OW! YOU'RE NOT A REAL FRIEND, KAMADO!"

"UMAI!"

Mrs. Iguro - or Mitsuri, as she had insisted you call her - arrived with towering plates and hell lot of topics to converse about. You happily indulged in their famous udon and her delighted talking while her husband glared at you from the window, although the threat was rather marred by the fact he was feeding a toddler at the same time.

You learnt Mitsuri - so cool! Her name was the exact one as the Love Pillar from the series! - had five kids (your head was still spinning over the fact) and that her hair had turned out that way from eating too much sakura mochi, which made you wonder what was happening to you after eating so much (favourite food) over the years.

After your meal you repeatedly thank Mitsuri for her meal and longingly promise to stop by again you leave for the last place on your agenda, Gyokko Art Studio.

The exhibitions mainly displayed brightly painted vases and scupltures; you had a lot of fun taking selfies with the gigantic koi fish statue and the one of a dozen blacksmiths forging swords. The studio also doubled as a pottery school, and when you enter you had immediately spotted the five rowdy teenage boys who were now arguing over a kiln and a broken vase at the back.

"KARAKU, YOU BROKE IT!"

"Hey, Sekido, chill! Zohakuten pushed me!"

"SHUT IT, WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS BLAMING ME? IS IT BECAUSE I'M THE YOUNGEST? AGEIST!

"Guys...quiet down....granddad is sleeping upstairs...."

"Nah, Aizetsu, I wanna see what happens!"

"Enough! All of you just clean that mess up! We have visitors! Your grandfather and I may be friends but I will never know what went wrong when he was raising all of you!"

Out of the back appeared the most flashy man you had ever met, eye catching with his coiffed purple hair and thick makeup, his scale tattoos catching your eye as he shooed the arguing brothers away. Eyes outlined with clashing green and red turned to you and he held out a stained hand. "Managi at your service! I run this humble store and I deeply apologize for the boys. Honestly, the Hantengu brothers are absolute menaces and I speak knowing the Shabana siblings."

Managi gave you a quick private tour of his studio, his arrogant but dramatic way of speech amusing you greatly, especially when he complained about a pair of twins who came in on the weekends, his two workers, children...well, Managi had an opinion on everything.

"Those Tokito whippersnappers have no appreciation for art! The only reason I haven't shooed them out with clay gluing their ill-mannered mouths shut is because their mother is a regular of mine."

"Haganezuka! Absolute concentration in what he does and a prodigy in vase making, but he is absolutely terrible with customer service! I usually leave that to Kanamori but we waste more time preventing Haganezuka from attacking customers than actually selling.

It was definitely a trip you'd like to remember, so you bought a small cup that had caught your eye and waved goodbye to Managi as you left for your final destination, your hotel.

You decide to take the longer way round to enjoy the picturesque walk beneath the sakura trees. Stopping to admire the pink fall you suddenly realize there's a couple beside you taking photos. Embarrassed that you might be unintentionally photo bombing, you move away, but a tap on your shoulder spins you back around.

"Hi, excuse me! Do you mind taking a picture of Hakuji and I? We tried taking a selfie but haha, the shot didn't cover the trees."

You oblige, secretly delighting in observing the young but loving couple interact with each other - especially when the punk-looking, tattoo-covered Hakuji was holding her so gently like that. You take their photo and after their grateful thanks you resumed making your way back.

Upon arriving at the lobby you were annoyed to say the least to find yourself stuck behind an irritatingly loud young man arguing with the poor receptionist. Of course, you couldn't actually see the receptionist's - Nakime, on her name tag, and that sounded rather familiar - face due to her long bangs but anyone would honestly be irritated with how obnoxiously he was talking.

"Sir, I have explained to you already, your booking was cancelled because you were late with your payment-"

"Oh come on, woman, it was just a day late!"

"You too are very late with your excuses."

The tall, tuxedoed man from the sofa had gotten up and was now towering over the younger man after politely excusing himself for getting in your way. "Miss, look for a room registered under Kokushibo. I suspected my fool of a secretary Kaigaku would make yet another mistake."

"HEY, LISTEN HERE, OLD MAN-"

"Kaigaku, I really don't have time for this, my wife is going to be back soon from taking the kids to the zoo. Thank you, miss, and excuse us."

"That guy was irritating you, wasn't he?" You remarked, accidentally blurting out your thoughts. "I mean, I wasn't eavesdropping!"

The receptionist smiled faintly. "Don't worry, I'm used to him. Your name?"

And it was only when you flopped down on your hotel bed and stared at the ceiling did it occur to you that a lot of people had seemed very familiar to you today.

Perhaps fiction and reality weren't that far apart after all.
