Tim and his parents: Janet is an Ice Queen and Jack is abusive. Tim is unaware that this is not normal. He is being raised as a Business Baby. He is expected to skip grades at school and be working 2-3 years above his age cohort.

Tim, 11-13 (yes we’re sticking with a wide range here): Tim finds out Jason is dead when Bruce announces it in the paper. During his nights out he notices Bruce is getting more violent. Tim goes to find Dick in Bludhaven to tell him that Bruce is too violent! Dick shrugs him off so Tim is determined – he goes to Bruce and tell him that there must be a Robin and insists it is him.

Tim, 13-14: is a smol sad bean. He is now Robin and Bruce is less violent but he’ll never be a Robin like his hero ~*~Jason Todd~*~. Bruce accidentally calls him Jason and looks at the memorial case all the time. Tim knows he’s not really part of the family but he’s doing his best as Robin.

Tim, 13-14: Tim goes on a trip to Paris where he encounters assassins. No further details.

Tim, 13-14: Dick starts dropping by the Manor and Gotham every second weekend to patrol with Tim as Robin, because he’s so guilty about Not Spending Enough Time With Jason. They become close, like brothers.

Tim, 13-14: Tim encounters Steph as Spoiler when she hits him on the head with a brick. They immediately start dating.

Tim’s Parental Free Square: Janet and Jack are both alive and well and neglect Tim. They have not realised he is Robin as they’ve been home for 6 weeks total in the last 5 years.

Tim’s Alternate Parental Free Square: at an unspecified time Janet died. Jack went into a coma. Since then, Tim has been living at Wayne Manor in a spare room. One day, Jack might wake up, but it’s been months or years now.

Tim, 14: Tim forms Young Justice with his best friends Kon, Bart, Cassie and Cissie. They hang out together and play baseball in space! (the only plot that happens here)

Tim, 14-15: Tim and the rest of Young Justice (minus Cissie) become Teen Titans. No reason why, they’re just old enough now. (The only plot that happens here is Titans of Tomorrow where they meet their evil adult selves)

Alternate Robin Tim plot: Joker Junior! Due to either Reverse Robins or just a desire for whump, Tim is captured by Joker and tortured till insanity. He becomes Joker Junior.

Tim, 14-15: there’s a new villain in Gotham haunting the streets, Red Hood. Bruce is now obsessed with him and has no time to pay any attention to Tim. He has told Tim not to patrol. Dick is also worried. Tim, forbidden from going out in Gotham, goes to hang out at Titans Tower (location unspecified). Jason turns up and beats Tim up with his own bo staff and may slit Tim’s throat. Alternately, Tim sneaks out in Gotham anyway and encounters Red Hood on another occasions where he gets his throat slit. This is a major injury that scars badly.

Tim, 16: His parents die. His best friend, Kon, dies. His girlfriend Steph dies. Tim is very distraught by this and refuses to let Bruce adopt him, inventing a Fake Uncle. He tries to clone Kon 99 times in a basement.

Tim, 17: gets adopted. He meets Damian and Damian immediately tries to deliberately murder him. Several times. 

Tim, 17: Bruce dies. Tim is convinced he is not dead. If Battle for the Cowl happens, Jason tries to kill him with a batarang. Once Dick is Batman, Tim and Dick fight over whether Bruce is dead. Dick says Tim is crazy and should be in Arkham. He then tells Tim that Damian is now Robin. Tim, furious, drops out of school and runs away and becomes Red Robin.

Tim, 17: Tim is captured by Ra’s Al Ghul. He loses his spleen. He gets away by blowing up ALL the League bases and hundreds of people die. He then returns to Gotham and falls out of a tower due to Ra’s Al Ghul. Dick catches him. The spleen loss is a secret.

Tim, 17: Tim gets emancipated and is no longer legally a family member because that’s how emancipation works. He now runs Wayne Enterprises as CEO. Everyone is impressed how good at it he is and how hard he works. 

Tim, 17: Tim is still mad about what Dick said to him. Damian again attempts to murder Tim, this time by dropping a billboard on his head and when that doesn’t work, by cutting his line. Dick takes Damian’s side, and explains Tim can’t be Robin anymore because Damian just needs it so much more and look how well he’s doing!

Tim, 17: Bruce returns due to Tim’s research but he’s now mad at Tim because Tim tried to kill Captain Boomerang (who killed his parents). 

Tim, 17: (optional angst) the Daughter of Acheron tries to rape Tim and Cass saves him. This provides angst. Cass is the only person who knows or cares. 

Tim, 17: Jason apologises for trying to kill Tim multiple times and blames it on pit rage. Tim accepts this as a good explanation and becomes Best Brothers with Jason as he has apologised.

Tim, 17: Tim’s no longer part of the family and it gives him ANGST. He’s just so sad. Also he just can’t trust Dick any more and their brotherhood is Eternally Destroyed. He’s just a Coworker.

Tim, currently: Tim comes out as bi and starts dating an old classmate, Bernard. They live on a boat. Bernard was in a paincult for a while. Tim is Robin. 

Alternate Tim, currently 17: Tim is living in an apartment and running Wayne Enterprises. He does not live at Manor but he has a bedroom there. This is an argument between him and Bruce. There is still tension between Tim and Dick that they are both sad about, but Tim is cool with Jason. Tim has either forgiven Damian or they fight constantly every time they’re near each other. Tim is Red Robin.

Tim, currently: is in a relationship with Bernard, Kon or Steph, pick one. If Tim is in a relationship with Kon, Bruce vaguely disapproves and says “no metas in Gotham” a lot.

Understanding Class Solidarity

Prewriting this and putting it in a queue. Is Hollywood still striking?

Well, does not matter. Because I gotta talk about another important thing when it comes to leftist thought. Another thing that the capitalist system has kinda managed to very successfully distort. The concept of class solidarity.

See, no matter whether SAG AFTRA and WGA are still on strike when this is going up, the entire issue has shown this - though of course it also has kinda helped some more people to understand this, too.

Because the first reaction of many people upon those folks going on strike, was: "What are they complaining about? They are Hollywood! Hollywood is where the money is!" This was especially true for when the actors went on strike, because we kinda associate actors with being rich. Because we usually think of the likes of a Chris Hemthworth or a Scarlet Johanson, who get like millions per movie where they show up. But people obviously forget that most actors are in fact some random background faces, who barely scrape by. The big actors going on strike, too, is in fact a form of class solidarity.

See, capitalism has told us that the classes are like the middle class, the upper class and the lower classes. And, sure, yeah, those are kinda classes as well - and classism is very much based on this. On the economic standing of people and the marginalization of poor people is very much real.

BUUUUUUUT...

You know what the entire marxist theory says about the classes?

Yeah, there are only two. There is the owning class and there is the working class. And it turns out, that even quite a few of those multimillion dollar actors are in fact still working class, as they do not own the companies in which they make their money. And yes, note, some do. There are a couple of big wing actors who do in fact own the production studios they work under. But this is not true for all or even for most.

And here is the thing: The difference between the owning class and the working class is, that the working class works and actually produces value, while the owning class profits off that generated value.

That is also why the saying goes: "Every profit is stolen wages." And this is true, no matter whether the worker makes 25k a year, 100k, 500k or 3m. If they are the worker, they are almost by necessity exploited. Just that some get exploited a ton more.

To keep it with the film studios, because it is a nice example to have.

Who really made it possible for like Avengers Endgame to bring in 2 billion bucks. Was it Bob Iger (or Bob Chapek)? Or was it like the directors, actors, costume makers, set makers, camera people, technicians, CGI creators and what not? Who really did generate that value?

And understanding that is the core to understanding class solidarity.

The system right now is very interested in people not realizing it. That we actually all do have more in common with other workers, than we have with the owning class. That if we just all went on strike, that the owning class would loose everything.

The average person with their 40k/year office job does have more in common both with the B-List actor, who might make a couple hundred thousand per movie, AND with the black trans 20 something homeless kid working at Starbucks while living on their frined's sofa.

Because all three of them do not own the fruits of their labor. All three of them have their life dictated by people who own whatever they are working for.

Class solidarity is to understand this and to stand side by side with everyone who is striking and fighting for their right to get treated fairly.

Jason Peter Todd was born August 16th, 2000 in Gotham City, New Jersey, to his mother Dr. Sheila Haywood and his father Willis Todd. However only a few months later did Willis Todd marry Catherine Johnson, forcing Dr. Haywood to have to relinquish custody.

Jason did decent at school, until he stopped showing up, school records are really spotty after third grade. Apparently he was reading and understanding college level stuff, but that’s really all we got on it.

No there isn’t, not any social media posts, or news articles, or anything if that sort about Jason until a few years later in 2012, when Jason became the ward to the one and only, Bruce Wayne.

Ah, Bruce Wayne, you love him, I love him, uhm- I actually don’t know much about Bruce Wayne other than the fact he’s one of the few rich people who give away a shit ton of money.

Bruce Wayne is a billionaire CEO, with a heart of gold, and some say he sleeps around, but as long as he’s not hurting anyone. Also! He’s a dad! Bruce Wayne is a trusted person within the Foster Care over in Gotham. He takes in the extreme cases that would probably leave the kid with a bunch of trauma.

Well, with what I’ve heard about Gotham, he must have like a billion kids with just a bunch of trauma

Let’s see what I remember from research, cause I did not write anything down for this. His first ward was Richard Grayson, who goes by Dick, was taken in after he watched his whole family fall and die on the trapeze.

As I said before, Jason was brought into Mr. Wayne’s custody after the death of both his father and his step mother. His father’s death was unknown, and his step mother died from a drug overdose… in front of Jason.

Uhm- Tim Drake? His was more interesting to watch unfold because there’s a whole other multimillion almost billion dollar company that Tim’s parents owned, and there was a lot covered up by lawyers and stuff, but Tim ended up with the Waynes

Then there’s the only female in the place, Cassandra Wayne, she is selectively mute, and overly protected by her adoptive family, nothing was shared with the media about where she came from.

Damian Wayne is the only blood son to Bruce Wayne, he didn’t even know about the kid until… like last year? Two years ago? Again, not a lot that I remember.

And then there’s been rumors of him taking in another kid, but nothing for sure yet.

Jesus, Ryan take a breath, and go back to Jason, because now I’m hoping I believe your theories about him being alive cause what this family didn’t need is another death.

Look, Shane. I’m going to be straight with you here. There are three possible theories I think could be plausible. So let’s jump right into them.

Theory one, is that Jason Todd is alive and in hiding from The Joker. This is the second most popular idea, and one I hope is true. There really isn’t anything else to this theory, besides a picture of someone that looks a little like Jason in the middle of Asia.

Doppelgänger, probably. Lemme see. I don’t know… this kinda looks like someone edited it.

Yeah, like it looks really distorted. I don’t know if I think it’s real, but it’s what people online were talking about.

Crazy, that people online would doctor fake photos of a kid who had died.

Exactly, which is why people think he’s alive, cause who would do that?

Theory two is that Jason Todd died as his family said he did, looking for his birth mother. Apparently he was in the Middle East, found his mother, but then both were found dead in an explosion caused by the Joker.

So the Joker, who is Gotham’s Prince of Crime, was somehow in the Middle East? I don’t buy it

I didn’t either, until I looked just a little deeper, and found that the next week Superman and Batman stopped the Joker from murdering the United Nations. So he was in the area.

Oh my god. If.. I know on this show I try to goof off, but it’s hard when it’s a kid. How old was Jason?

Only 15. He just got back into the swing of things at school, getting all A’s, he was in the Drama program and the Poetry club. If you scroll down a on Dick Grayson’s Instagram you can find a selfie of Dick and Jason, Jason being in his school uniform only a week before he died. The two seemed to be really close, with how much Grayson posted of the two of them, and then it was radio silence from the man until a year after Jason’s death, where he made a memorial post, along with Bruce Wayne, who made the Jason Peter Todd Memorial Foundation, which helps families in Crime Alley.

Look, not okay with the kid dying, but it makes me kinda smile to see that his family got together to do something like this in his name.

I don’t think you understand the length of what this fund does. It provides special housing for single mothers, has opened up two clinics that help with drug abuse and addiction, and keeps kids in warm clothes and in school.

That’s- wow. Okay, you are making this “he’s dead” thing seem like it’s the only thing that happened.

Well, theory 3, is that he died-

He died, and came back to life.

This, I think, is worse than you saying ghosts are real.

We live in a world where someone can run at the speed of light! Yet you draw the line at ghosts and maybe hopefully someone who isn’t dead.

Yeah, but that’s science. Okay whatever where’s the proof of him being alive.

Okay, looking at the timeline. Jason Todd died at 15, in 2015. And the Wayne’s kinda were quiet for a year and a half, besides the foundation they set up, even with Tim, nothing really new was happening.

And then things seemed to go back to normal, they all frequented gala’s again, and all the other social stuff they did-

Shut up, anyways, in 2018 a picture appears, not even the front page, of Dick Grayson walking and laughing with someone who looks a lot like if Jason Todd grew up for a few years, and then decided to dye his hair.

Listen, Ryan. People have doppelgängers. We just saw the other picture and it’s clearly fake- Jesus Christ that looks exactly like Jason.

Exactly! And I started looking around more, finding pictures of the Wayne family around Gotham from news sites, and every once in a while, that guy pops up. Never in the picture, but always somewhere in the background like he wasn’t wanting to be seen. Like i mentioned in the beginning, there was a picture from a week ago that looks exactly like him.

Wait, is this a theory from the internet or something you came up with?

Both, kind of? I saw someone make a bad joke about it, and then it kinda stuck in my head as I looked for more information. Apparently there is a mythical pit that could bring someone from the dead.

Okay, yeah. Mythical revival pit. As if any living person wouldn’t be all over that.

Look man, that’s just the information I found. But I really really hope that Jason is alive somewhere safe, or resting peacefully.

The most believable for me is that he did pass away. But I’d love to be wrong.

That being said, I got really sad looking through all of Jason’s life, I felt like I was being more invasive than usual. So I talked with the crew and Buzzfeed, and we are donating all revenue from this video to the Jason Memorial fund in Gotham.

Why Jess often shows her luxury brand name stuffs like YSL Gucci Versace etc, way too often when she doesn't seem to have a glamorous job she's referred. How the hell she buy those expensive stuffs when she doesn't seem to get paid well even a real celebrity manager won't hit higher than $5,000-$6,000 monthly income and she is out of nowhere to make such a bunch of money. I guess Jess keeps faking it but no way to making it real

What I'm always confused about is if you google her there's a bunch of websites (clickbait/tabloid type sites nothing official) that will give her net worth to be 2-3 million dollars but how would anyone know that about her?

I'm sure with any of these celebrity net worth websites (when it's an actual celebrity) there's at least more public information to help make an educated guess. Though I doubt most of them are 100% correct they are probably at least in the ballpark because you can look up how much an actor made for any given movie, property they may have, vehicles they may own, etc.

There's no possible way to do this for Jess because everything about her is hidden. If you Google it you'll see that on average a celebrity manager (and you'd have to be going by full time, which Jess clearly isn't doing) makes around 50-60K a year. Which is barely enough to live in California, especially Hollywood. Even if you go with looking up a talent manager (instead) you still get between 80K-100K a year. Once again, better than the other salary but certainly not something that is going to make her a millionaire either.

Where are websites pulling the net worth figure at 2-3 million for Jess? It seems like it's just something she told people to publish or people assume she has to be worth that much because she's with Jamie. When in reality there's no way she's worth that much or making that much money per year because she obviously does not work a full-time job.

This leaves only a few other options for how she's making money to maintain the lifestyle that she flaunts on social media.

Credit/Loans (and she's probably in a massive level of debt at this point)

Sugar Daddy: Making Jamie pay for everything or mostly everything (she does live in his house so at the very least she more than likely does not have to cover food/rent/utilities)

Trust fund: (though even with how lucrative her father's business is, it's not a multimillion-dollar corporation) so I'd imagine any trust fund she may have had is used up by now.

Business loans: Borrowing against both Ice Studios and her own management company and not using the money for anything business-related

Scamming: Who knows what that Ice Studios shop is or was in reality and why they keep running this business at a loss when any reasonable person would have declared bankruptcy and shut it down at this point.

Having other boyfriends/sugar daddies we don't know about maybe selling nudes or something online or catfishing guys on Instagram. She could have multiple IG accounts and be working from multiple angles.

Begging/Lying: telling her friends/family that she needs the money for one reason or another (this may have worked for some time but it seems like she's not really with her family anymore so that may be why).

Inheritance: Maybe someone in her family died and/or she was with a guy before Jamie who died and she got a bunch of money.

Jess also doesn't seem like the type that is good with money, at all. Even with her other jobs, like when she was a Senior Press officer, the salary widely varies but doesn't go much above 100K per year even if she was at a very company. Same with working in PR. Every job she's had (and keep in mind a lot of them she left after a year or two so she wasn't saving a ton of money doing this either) is on average 100K per year or less. These are not jobs where she was going to become a millionaire but it doesn't matter anyway because she hasn't officially worked at one of them for 5 years now.

It's very confusing as to how she's affording all of this stuff when she doesn't appear to do anything that would earn the level of money that she would need to afford it. She never has earned that kind of money. People may think these titles sound glamourous and yes, a six-figure salary is nothing to scoff at but on the lower end if you live in cities like London, New York, or L.A (like she was) then you really are barely scraping by, you aren't rich. If she worked full time then I could possibly say maybe she's just really bad with money management and prioritizes designer clothes and accessories but since she doesn't, how she's affording any of this is the biggest question and she's probably not doing it very ethically or because she worked super hard to get it.

Unsurprising considering that both her mother and her sister became supermodels, but her most surprising venture would come in 2018.

After rising to the position of principal dancer and becoming a guest principal at both the Bolshoi Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre in 2015, three years later, Mi-rae was inspired by her brother and she made the decision to pursue an idol career in Korea, signing with LOEN Entertainment. The announcement shocked the public, as most thought she would do nothing but ballet even after her cover of IU’s “Boo” went viral in 2016. Mi-rae’s debut was intended to come just months after she signed, but once she got busy with ballet and acting, it was unfortunately but inevitably delayed.

In between 2018 and 2021, Mi-rae made strides as an actress and television host, in addition to her established ballet career. In May, Mi-rae was featured on aespa’s “‘Til We Meet Again,” and anticipation for her debut continued to grow. And then, after a month of teasers, Mi-rae’s debut EP—Jewel—was finally released.

Do you remember the Leveson inquiry into press standards, which cost the UK taxpayer almost £4 million? The inquiry was divided into two parts and the final report of Part One, which investigated whether the existing Press Complaints Commission was fit for purpose, decided a new, independent, statutory complaints procedure should  be set up to replace it.

Tory PM David Cameron, who had set up the inquiry, refused to implement the recommendations and the British press continues to be both judge and jury of its own behaviour.

The second part of the Leveson inquiry was to investigate “"the extent of unlawful or improper conduct within News International, other media organisations, and whether the police received corrupt payments or were otherwise complicit in misconduct."

David Cameron cancelled the second part of the inquiry and News International was never investigated.

The Murdock family owns news International, now known as News Corporation. The Murdock family also own Fox Corporation in the USA and were recently in the headlines when they made a $787.5m payout to Dominion for deliberately and knowingly spreading false information about the company after the 2020 US election. 

Dominion, by paying an out of court settlement, allowed the Murdock’s to avoid an in-depth scrutiny of their libellous actions.

The Guardian (19/04/23) had this to say: 

“…while Fox doled out an unprecedented sum, they were able to avoid something priceless: the public humiliation of a trial and an apology.”

Today we learn that something very similar has happened here in England. Prince William has apparently settled a phone-hacking claim against the Murdock group, for a "very large sum" of money.

If this is true it tells us as much about Prince William as it does the about the unsavoury behaviour of the Murdock news empire. I would have hoped that Prince William, our future king, would have had the moral backbone to take Murdock’s News Group Newspapers to court so that if they had been behaving illegally their actions could be publicly exposed. Alas, it seems Prince William lacked the moral courage necessary and preferred instead to take the money and run. A future king should have the well being of his subjects uppermost in his mind but in this instance monetary self-interest seems to have won out over moral responsibility.

As one newspaper said about the Dominion settlement, the multimillion-dollar pay-out for the Murdock’s was just the price for doing business. Much in the same way British water companies illegally dump sewage into our rivers and seas because it is cheaper to do this than pay for modernising treatment plants, so unscrupulous newspapers and media outlets will continue to engage in illegal practices and peddle half-truths and lies until they are brought to public account in the British courts.

Bugatti Type 51 Grand Prix Champion Gets a Parisian-tailored Winter Suit

The wonderful history of this charismatic car, Nethercutt’s 1931 Bugatti, is significant in both motorsport and automotive design worlds. Having won the Monaco Grand Prix for the Bugatti factory team in the race’s 3rd year of existence, driven to victory by none other than Louis Chiron, was just the opening act for this Type 51.  Today, hypercar enthusiasts know the 2023 Bugatti Chiron as the multimillion dollar successor of the Veyron, named after the 1930s champion driver. After proving its agility on many tracks, Grands Prix and rallies, with such legendary drivers as Chiron and Rene Dreyfus piloting, sn (serial number) 51133 was eventually purchased for slightly less competitive use, along the ‘Allee des Acacias’/ in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris where young gentleman drivers showed off their latest sports cars.  According to Pierre-Yves Laugier, Bugatti Owners Club???? Interestingly, the coupé creator’s family’s railway carriage factory location ultimately became the Citroën factories and competitive driver Bith benefited from his father’s role as head doctor for the Paris Police - something that may have been helpful on occasion. Bith enjoyed a close relationship with his family and explains he never once had an accident!

With a love for speed, driving precision and engineering, 26-year-old heir André Bith would’ve known the barely distinguishable visual differences between the Type 35B and its successor, the Type 51. The DOHC, inline 8-cylinder (hemispherical) supercharged 2.3 liter motor produced 180hp, reaching speeds of 140mph in race trim!  It was among the most powerful and tough racing engines of the 1930s, often making up over 2/3s of the entries in 1930s Grands Prix. The engine bay showed off demascened, engine-turned finishes and right angles, appearing artistically inspired by the contemporary art movement of Cubism.  However, historian Griff Borgeson explains that “the Boss” (as company founder Ettore Bugatti was known), ‘would have no waste of materials nor effort.’  Of the 40 Type 51 and 51A produced, only 23 are known today, the other 17 were perhaps destroyed in war - or absconded in such chaos.

Nethercutt’s sn 51133 survived both world wars and thanks to their thoughtful stewardship, was reunited not only with its Parisian tailored finery but also its doting owner who originally commissioned the alluring coupé ‘build’ back in 1937.  At age 91, Bith fondly remembered driving the open, spartan 1931 racecar he purchased in 1935. Its pedigree already established having been driven to team victories and then owned by the dashing, scarf-wearing celebrity driver, Louis Chiron, who received the car as payment from ‘The Boss.’ The cold French winter of 1936 had Bith looking for a solution and he found inspiration in his pal Jean Bugatti’s Type 57SC Atlantic when they met for lunches.  Notably there were just 4 Atlantics built on a wheelbase longer than the Type 51, between 1936 and 1938.  The 2010 transaction for nearly $40million made it the most valuable car in the world - and one remains missing…

Bith began sketching with designer friend André Rolland.  They found lightweight Duralumin was the latest and greatest material but at the time but few had worked with it.  They were delighted to find an Italian craftsman at Dubos Carrosserie was eager and competent to work with new aluminum alloy’s lightweight, high mechanical resistance.  Dubos agreed to do the project for just 20,000 FRF- IF Bith committed to putting the car in many concours and design/styling competitions.  Bith explained to “Bugatti Magnum” Hugh Conway that he paid 18,000 FRF to Chiron in 1935 for the 1931 racecar.  His mechanic Mr. Schaeffer spoke highly of the brothers Dubos, and did some modifications such as centering the gear lever on the box, fitting a Citroën TAV handbrake to the aluminum dashboard and adding a dynamo to charge the battery. Bith specified seats, not a bench, and no speedometer - the result was a far more uniquely tailored and useful car than a brand new Type 51 which would’ve cost 165,000 FRF then.  One USD bought 22.24 French francs in April of 1937 equating to USD $7,419.- which is ironically about the same factor as the inflation rate change from then to now.  $1 then purchases about as much as $21 today, making today’s prices 20.96 times higher. A new Type 51 today might be priced between $155,000 to $165,000 IF the car market remained the same, however, one new Bugatti Chiron model today is priced at USD $3.25million!

In April of 1937 Dubos began work on sn 51133 near The Boss’s preferred coach builder at Rue de Debaracdere, in Paris’ District XVII, on Rue de Sablonville - so they might’ve shared talent and materials. Dubos was respected for bodying Talbot Lago, Delahaye, Renault and Avions Voisin - such as what won Amelia this year. The Carrossier would have no issue expediting a 6-year-old racecar turned coupé - since the brand new Bugattis were bodied nearby.  The Nethercutts wisely and fortunately were able to involve Bith in everything possible from historic documentation to even locating a steering wheel affectionately mounted on Bith’s wall.  After owning a great many wonderful cars, Bith calls sn 51133 his Queen and came across an interesting discovery at the Bagatelle Concours of 1991. The same contest which his car won in 1937, shown by Miss France who wore a Drecolle dress the same violet blue as the car.  A fellow who stood admiring one of the world’s 4 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic - the very car that inspired Bith originally - shared information about the disposition of his long lost Dubos coupé. It was now cherished by a fellow who enjoyed driving it in his Colorado Grand event, and once again, after being painted, black, white and black again, bore a similar violet-blue paint color as when Bith sold it. 

The Type 51’s diminutive racing footprint needed an enclosure that wouldn’t slow it down much but would keep Bith and his ladyfriend warm as they sped up to 130mph outside Paris in the wintertime… Decades of using hammers and rollers enabled the Neuilly-sur-Seine facility to beautifully execute the hood and fenders in Duralumin, thanks to their Italian talent, and the body in lightweight steel.  Bith was true to his word and entered the car not only in the Bagatelle but also Ponte d’Auteuil Concours d’Elegance and the Motor Exhibition of October 1937 at Earls Court, not to mention the Paris-Nice Rally et al.  The Dubos coupé was featured in the October issue of “The Autocar” and the November issue “The Automobile Engineer” according to Pierre-Yves Laugier who explains it featured a Type 57 steering shell.  Referring to it as the “Bugatti 57 Sport” he explains it was incorrectly attributed to Saoutchik in the magazine articles of 1937, no doubt of great consternation to Dubos. Bith was heartbroken when, in 1938 a gas attendant filled the tank with ordinary rather than super, and his attempt to remediate the mistake, seemed instead to ruin the engine.  The car was sold and began to suffer.

The chassis retained value to various drivers and collectors while some appreciate the Dubos body which was separated from the car in the 50s and became a Pebble winner in its own right, with faithfully fabricated chassis and engine.  Nethercutts were thrilled to relocate the body in 2000 at a Monterey auction and set about reuniting sn 51133 with its custom tailored, Atlantic-inspired, lightweight, tastefully finned Parisian suit. It is worth noting how Nethercutt’s curator Skip Marketti has dutifully communicated with the variety of owners, drivers and restorers relevant to this car - taking a thoughtfully objective, investigative approach to information gathering as restoration decisions were deliberated.  What may seem overly tedious in some contexts is wise when the rarity, design excellence and accomplishments of a vehicle deserves a level of scrutiny that’s more museum-like or archival sciences while a more artistic, expressive approach may be appropriate in another project.  In fact, the interests of a brand or cities’ industrial history can come into play when very rare, valuable works uniquely represent a nation’s contribution.  Some collectors have even wondered whether a nation could invent reasons to require the repatriation of a particular collectible - all of which we mention simply to honor the stewardship and recognize the different sorts of context faced by restoration projects. Family honor can always play a role in such endeavors - inspiring great record-keeping, accuracy and quality at every step of the process.

Just as Space Invaders led to a wave of space shooters Super Mario Bros set the trend for side-scrolling platformers, and Gears of War opened the floodgates of cover-based shooters. the unprecedented success of an indie blockbuster such as Minecraft will surely cause ripples in the industry. It's not plagiarism; it's advancement.

If you're a Minecraft fan and you're a Minecraft fan, then you're bound to enjoy The Blockheads but it's more than a carbon copy. While Minecraft is best played with keyboard and mouse, The Blockheads' 2-D version of the sandbox with a creative twist genre is perfectly suited for the mobile format and its use of touchscreen controls is well-implemented and user-friendly.

Mika Junnila and 6 other Finnish nationals connected to Blue Key Investments, LLC record sale.

Newly-unearthed documents indicate a link between Finnish national Mika Junnila, the Chief Executive Officer of F9 Distribution Oy, and the contentious Blue Key Investment, LLC. Public records allude to allegations that Mikko Pakkanen and Hugo Sluimer, both members of Blue Key Investments, played a role in a multimillion-dollar money laundering and tax evasion scheme via the firm and multiple offshore entities. Evidence suggests Junnila's membership within Blue Key Investments, LLC and several other Finnish nationals.

The 7 Finns and Hugo Sluimer allegedly bought Miami Beach’s pearl the Setai PH B for $15 million and sold it for a cool $27 million generating a $12 million gross profit. Allegedly the profits were siphoned off through offshore companies.

According to sources, Sluimer, who was allegedly the offshore lender,  diverted profits from Blue Key Investments, LLC through opaque offshore entities, ensuring tax-free returns for himself and other Finnish investors in contravention of US tax laws. The funds he lent out to Blue Key Investments, LLC belonged to the Finnish investors and himself and not to a 3rd party unrelated lender. Sluimer had previously asserted that he could not hold membership or shareholder status within Blue Key Investments, LLC without jeopardizing the tax scheme as he was supposed to be an unrelated offshore lender. However, existing documents confirm he was also a stakeholder in the US businesses. Hugo Sluimer was allegedly chosen as the offshore lender because the Finns had very close ties to each other and it would be too obvious. Sluimer was new to the group and had never done any business with the Finns making him a good candidate. Sluimer has the most dangerous position of all as he allegedly was responsible for money laundering and tax evasion for all of the Finns and himself. 

Sluimer's Emails confirm a "Clean formula" existed and that he may have been the offshore lender:

Sluimer seems to clearly be alarmed by the email and requests confidentiality multiple times but refuses to disclose the ingredients of the "Clean Formula" which raises suspicion. 

Mr. Junnila was asked to respond to the allegations via email but no reply was received. Simultaneously, Hugo Sluimer outed severe threats and consequences, seemingly in an effort to quell details tied to the alleged financial wrongdoings.  It is not clear if Junnila had any involvement in Sluimer’s threats but the timing is suspicious. The depth of Mr. Junnila's association with the purported financial infractions and threat remain uncertain and warrants further examination.

Mikko Pakkanen also uses ICS to manage his companies such as Restinver Investments limited which also owns Beachouse Maritime Limited which holds a 130 foot Mangusta yacht named Beachouse.

Sluimer now invests in real estate in the Netherlands with Rob Koster and Jerry Saffrie the founders of Covast Developments BV in Maarsen and Covast Vast goed. Allegedly, Koster was aware of the allegations against Sluimer but let him invest anyway.
