Alternatively, for Godparents or specifically a Godmother, Paz and Trudy could have been close as they were both pilots.

It's also reasonable that Norm, Jake and the others might not have known that Trudy had been close to Paz since I'm pretty sure they only knew her for a few months, plus Trudy might not have been officially listed as Spider's godmother and anyone who would've known is dead.

Just the angst of Norm finding out much later on, perhaps while Spider is captured, because he's watching old video logs of Trudy's when he stumbles upon a personal one where she is holding a baby Spider, joking about how her and Paz are going to make sure he becomes the best pilot Pandora's ever seen or something else that in that moment is both heartbreaking and wholesome.

SToppppp imagine Norm's face when he sees baby Spider in her arms, and now they are both gone, now there is nothing he can do for either of them - the closest he might ever have got to a human family 🥺 You better believe that night he calls Jake and has it out with him about how they just abandoned Spider with the RDA and how he's looking into possible ways into the city.

I didn't know about this movie and I literally just found it and watched it after your mail. And........................ are we sure the screenwriter isn't in some way aware of Rhett and Link and their friendship? Because I am not sure at all it's entirely coincidental. It is wild.

First of all the kids are called Remi and Leo. Their personalities are reversed in comparison to Rhett and Link (meaning Leo is like Rhett and Remi is like Link)but still! Remi and Leo?!

There is an element of rural lifestyle in the movie despite it being modern and the parents all loving and open-minded.

Leo looks like Rhett did as a child and as Shepherd. The resemblance is uncanny.

Remi looks a bit like Link too.

Leo is the one who gets in denial mode and tries to make other connections through sports and such. Remi never denies or confirms anything and Leo's growing distance leaves him lonely. He retreats to his toys, drawings and playing the flute.

Leo is the dreamer of the two, imagining big things for Remi's future whereas Remi is timid and humble.

Much like Rhett, Leo simply can't not stare with hearteyes whereas Remi (Link) can be more subtle despite the depth of his feelings.

There is this implication that Remi's entire life revolves around Leo.

Leo has an older brother while Remi is an only child.

Remi's mother is a nurse...!

Leo even has a wetting the bed accident what the freaking freak is going on here

That movie would make them utter wrecks. It also reminds me of how often Link mentions Brokeback Mountain while always clarifying he has yet to watch it, which makes me suspect he wants to but he dreads its ending.... Makes you think...

I believe Leona and Isabelle were engaged for like a year before she got into RSA — so 3 years ago — and her and Leona have been on bad terms and barely talking ever since-- when Isa got to her school she was immediately seen as an outcast, and I think that Neige's kindness was a breath of fresh hair from her situation with Leona and the people at RSA. I think she didn't want to fall for him and she always beat herself up bc it felt like cheating, (even if her and Leona technically had nothing) but with a bit of convincing from Chenya she decided to confess just to get her feelings out, after Neige rejected her she forced herself to get over it but it was really hard for my girlie. I actually think the idea of Leona seeing her upset one day by accident and cheering her up (not purposely, he probably said some comment about how Neige probably wasn't that good for her or something idk idk) made her try even harder to get over Neige; now they're good friends!<3

I fell like Leona would see her cry and go like “Really? Crying for him? pathetic…” and after she speaks some facts in his face, he goes quiet putting a hand on her shoulder with a soft spoken “i am sorry” as he actually regrets his words.

i feel like that’s how he falls for her (not fully but his heart does beat loudly that moment tbh) like he feels that he wanted to make her cry for him, as bad as it sounds, he wanted to be the one she would catch feelings for, he doesn’t see it though, at least not now :33

Incredibly alarming that talks of “peace” in Gaza seem to extend no further than a ceasefire. How do you think they’re gonna start off where they left off themselves? Their houses are destroyed, so many have lost mothers and fathers and brothers and children, they still have no clean water and no food. Any area Israel withdraws out of is an area it already knows has been rendered inhospitable. There was even a direct quote by some IOF soldier gleefully stating how he “wasn’t sure Palestinians could go back to their homes.” So what happens when the US “succeeds at negotiating a ceasefire”? Who will be responsible for helping the Palestinians rebuild all that they’ve lost?
