my abuser just posted about how he cant find emo clothes at thrift stores, so here are some tips to finding good clothes at them :)

kids section 8-10 years old “im 17” I DONT CARE the smaller the better because small clothes can show the belts ur wearing and if you have a belly button piercing.

go to as MANY thrifts stores, yard sales, and garage sells as you can!! you’ll find that good shit eventually

scan the rack and look for certain colored clothes youre looking for. good colors for scene/emo outfits to look for are neon colors, black, or white. this one is definitely one of the best things you can do.

going away from clothes, look in the belts section. ive only found one studded belt so far, but tons of cute belts that arent studded.

tank tops!!! if theres a tank top aisle, look through it!!! striped tank tops and any childish ones will do.

you need skinny jeans of every color btw /hj also jean shorts are LIFE SAVERSSS

clothes with stars, checkerboards, skulls, crosses, studs, crosses, or just over complicated designs are good to hunt down

claires-like designs are. the number one priority LOL like. cringey, 2000s out of date shirts like claires clothes is perfect to have for scenesters

band shirts, band shirts, band shirts, look for band shirts!!! always!!!

never get clothes that are too baggy unless ur a poser who’s into that kind of stuff

animal patterns are also good get those!!!
