indulging the theory that tommy is gonna help save chim for us to have buck freaking out pacing around the room "where's tommy? is he already here?" he says to hen "no, i don't think so. wait. was he supposed to be here?" "YEAH. he's my date. a very punctual one." he stops pacing "OH GOD THEY TOOK HIM TOO. he probably went where we were to find me AND THEY TOOK HIM WITH CHIM OH MY GOD. BOTH OF THEM GONE. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING." and hen just trying to not laugh at the chaos of too many things going on "calm down, please."
Lord Farquaad is a playable racer in the game and my first thought was "but how? He's already... oh"
And then it hit me, it makes sense in context and not because this is just a game and dead characters can come back as they please. Because...
Death is also in the game, so Farquaad must had escaped since the wolf is busy riding a coffin kart.
Poor Death Wolf just wants to have a little vacation in the game and he will realize a soul has escaped him, probably mock him too as the characters can talk to each other while racing (Farquaad called Shifu a "wretched squirrel" when their karts hit each other)
He can't take a break... and not only metaphorically speaking.
