Hi Guess What I Do Commissions
I've been doing commissions on Flight Rising for probably around 10 years now, but I figured I might as well try my luck on Tumblr. I need money to do frivolous things like exist because we live in a society, and some of you out there might want cool art, so here we are. Please commission me
Commission info (including what I will/won't draw) can be found here.
A ton of other examples, including past commissions, can be found here.
Tumblr media
Currently, I mostly do PWYW (pay-what-you-want) commissions.
It's simple: you pay me however much you'd like (min. $30, current max $100, at a rate of ~$30/hr- I'm thinking of upping the price because I'm getting Too Fast but it'll stay there for now), provide a character ref and a prompt, then let me loose upon the canvas for 1-3 hours like releasing a feral hog into the woods. Commissions are usually finished within 1-7 days.
PAST PWYW COMMISSIONS (mostly 2hr/$60 pieces)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Composition, style, etc is up to me; could be a painted headshot, could be a sketchier fullbody, could be something experimental, however I feel like committing the vibe you give me to paper. Whatever the case, I will do my absolute best to draw something really cool for you. More info can be found in...
THE COMMISSION FORM
This post is subject to change in the future if I decide I want to add more commission options, but for now I'll keep it simple. I might be willing to do other commission types on a case-by-case basis if it's something I think I'll enjoy drawing- more info in the form.
Indecisive about exactly what you want to commission apart from 'cool art of my blorbo'? Can't for the life of you find someone willing to draw your robot oc because nobody ever wants to draw mecha stuff? Want someone to actually design said robot oc for you because you ALSO don't want to draw mecha stuff? I'm your guy.
OTHER COOL STUFF I'VE DRAWN TO PROVE I CAN DRAW STUFF

anyway. this is also gonna be my new pinned post so
if you wanna see all my cool art on this blog click here -> #MY ART
if you want to see only the dumb stuff click here -> #STRAKA'S SHITPOSTS

thinking about art styles...a lot of people ask how to obtain one, but as far as what I think, it's really only something you can develop by
drawing a lot
consuming a lot of work
figuring out what is fun out of both of the last two points
I also don't think it's really healthy for artist to try and pin down a singular style-maybe for their own projects but even within projects, you're going to change by the end of them inevitably. I personally really like picking up a comic and seeing how the artist has changed in style by the end. I try to approach each project in a way that will best suit it, rather than trying to implement a concrete style.
I do think passion projects are good, too. For me, finding a story I wanted to tell and doing a bunch of work for it quickly makes me improve bc I'm flexing particular muscles that I don't get out of solo illustration work.
Sometimes it means the mass amounts of work are sketchier than a finished piece, but sometimes more is good, too. Not everything has to be good, not everything has to be finished. A good friend of mine told me you have to get ideas out before you don't have time/passion for them anymore, which sometimes means they're not gonna be super polished. And that is okay.

Glitch, Vol. 1: That Funny Feeling
Tumblr media
You know that feeling when something isn't right, but it's not wrong either. Where you're trying to find out the cause of it, of all the things you're seeing and feeling that are different. You're not quite afraid, but neither are you overly excited about the feeling. That's what this first volume of Glitch conveys, and in really solid fashion. A few missteps and stumbles here and there, but overall a deeply engaging and unique read.
A little more explanation, Minato and Akira move into a new town with their mother (who they refer to by name) and quickly discover things aren't what they seem. Spurred on by the oddity, they end up seeking to understand what's going on around them.
Really interesting concept, right?
Tumblr media
I'd agree, and while not everything they see is the same, it's centered around the idea of a "glitch", which I think is a genius idea given the art style of the series. I mean, just take a look at it, so angular and digital feeling. All the triangles and rectangles that are rendered in things like the greenery or buildings. It all works in bringing the concept of a glitch in the digital sense closer to mind.
And truthfully, the art is the strongest visual suit with the manga. Not that the rest are terrible, but that they can't keep pace with the talent. Layouts and boarding are solid, but the paneling needs some work. With the concept of glitches I feel like there's endless potential for how you approach paneling, but it remains largely focused on rectangles which is a bit of a shame.
Tumblr media
Anyways, the aspect of discomfort. I don't call it horror because it's not horror, not yet. Rather, it's just this weird sense that there's something around you. Like it's not just what you see, that there's a separation between your senses and your experience. And I think that this volume expresses that dissonance incredibly well in simple terms.
Separating the reader from the object.
Tumblr media
Now you might say, "Hey, this panel only has angel head guy in it, so wouldn't it be more focused on bringing the reader in?". It would, if this story was told from a first person perspective, but it's not. We focus largely on the third person. Instead, it's attempting to separate angel head from the rest of the world of Glitch in this instance.
It's a really interesting trick where the expectations of the experience are betrayed and it makes things feel different. Something similar is at play with the earlier image of Minato. The environment looks sketchier. There's less noticeable detail and information in the panel, despite it being full. We lead up to the page by focusing on (mostly) closeups of Minato only to zoom out on the reveal. It creates a sense of isolation, and well, difference. And really, the key to the success of the approach is in what it changes. It needs to focus on a single piece to succeed, to make something just that little bit different from the usual so that readers think something's off.
And time and time again in this volume, it betrays expectations in really interesting ways. It's unique, it's fresh, it's creative. It hits all the right notes for its approach to succeed. And then it adds some more.
A mystery means nothing without worldbuilding, and building a world it does. Forgetting where you originally came from, being able to see glitches, calling your mother by her name, only seeing a single adult at a time. There's all sorts of little oddities and intricacies that pepper this peculiar story.
Really, that's all I have to say. There's a lot that's better left unspoken with this story as a lot of its allure is the experience itself. Feeling the disconnect between worlds and what you see. Figuring out why this one piece feels weird. Trying to think of what will come next. It's a surprisingly engaging title for how passive it is, so it truly is a unique experience that I recommend.

Hi! How are you feeling angel? I hope everything’s going well for you! For the questions: 19, 23
*squishes!!* VERY WELL RESTED, thank you! 😚 <3 I'm going to answer these in reverse order, as the answer for 19 got LONG okay
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.
There are many writing modes heheheh! The usual: laptop, either late in the office, while I'm waiting for an experiment to finish, and the lights are turning out around me, or in my room, multicoloured fairy lights on, curled up on the chair by my desk or at the edge of my bed.
gdocs is my go-to now, as it allows me to write on the move - there's also a lot of writing on trains. writing on my phone is sketchier, mostly outlining, unless I'm already working from an outline, and then it's a bit more fleshed out. everything is finished on my laptop, though.
what's been happening lately though, is that I will be falling asleep, and sort of daydreaming, and I'll be working through a scene, and it will be so detailed and specific that I know I will forget it by the time I wake up, so I'll grab my mobile, blearily scroll to gdocs and type it out. spelling errors and grammar up the wazoo. good dialogue though, and the key images, things that stick with me. <3
--
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
this got long. thank you for asking! ;u;
I love this question! >:3 the journey started small! I started writing online on a pokemon forum when that was still a thing, in little RPs and short stories. I didn't fall in love with it until I started on ff dot net, and fell in love with those stories, which pushed me away from the classic, heavier writing styles preferred in school & on that forum, to something looser and more character driven.
from there, it's just been a lot of experimentation. I've been posting stories online since 2007 (many different usernames), and so it has honestly been like a time caspule for me. there are always bumps on the way, heheh, and really, it's been about figuring out what I like to write, and how I like to write it.
these last two years have definitely been an exception, but I usually only wrote smaller oneshots, posted sporadically. in 2014, finishing up my undergrad, I wrote a lot and did my first (and only) big bang fic. wrote a bit more in 2016, with the release of daredevil (kastle my beloved), and then I started grad school, and I wrote sporadically.
but then the pandemic happened, and I got into a smaller, niche fandom that had less pressure, and I sort of... let loose. Really experimented with writing dynamics and stories I've wanted to write, and realised I could. Wrote many, many different characters and voices, experimented with writing smut in a way that I actually connected with it, and had a lot of fun. >:3
now i'm here, and for the most part, I really, really like what I'm writing. <3 always experimenting, pushing the boundaries.
maybe.... maybe I'd try writing something longer in the future, but I really, really don't have the space for it right now. writing up my phd thesis, and working a full time position... yeah.
I have a germ for a romance novel idea (I am Passionate about writing smut well, okay), but that's got a pin in it until... until I finally am not juggling a million things at once, oh my god. <3

I drew my alternate universe Danny. I posted the drawings to Lofter earlier. 🤔
DON'T repost.
Tumblr media
I imitated @krossan 's art style again, and this time I tried to use her design for humans (/humaniods), but didn't really imitate every way of simplification or shading/ colouring (I also kind of changed the proportion of the character). My lines look different from Krossan's art , and it's pretty obvious.
I spent lots of time working on the lineart. I used some ink painting methods, and the lines look pretty nice. 😂 Designing the action/ pose wasn't a very big problem for me, but I am not familiar with human anatomy, so it did take me quite some time to figure out the construction and how to design a fine proportion. I spent some more time on designing the clothes. I gave Danny some really baggy clothes (basically my clothes but with different colours) (and perhaps the clothes are too big for him) so that I could draw interesting folds. At first the fabric was drawn too complicated, so I simplified the design several times (I redrew and redrew … 😅). I can draw some even simpler clothes (just take a look at my other posts), but it was not my purpose of drawing this. Anyway, I can talk a lot more about creating lineart, but not this time. (I am not sure if I know how to explain some theories in English) 🤔
Tumblr media
The lineart here was not really meant for a coloured drawing and I didn't thought much about colouring when I drew the lineart. I don't actually enjoy shading or colouring, and apparently I am better at creating lineart. If I want to colour something, I prefer to design a simpler line drawing, and sometimes won't have to draw some very nice lines (yeah theoretically I can draw sketchier lines in that case, but I don't usually draw "rough" lines since I'm probably not good at that) (or I can just try something that's more like acrylic/ oil painting). The coloured one took me about 3 hours and 20 minutes to colour. 😓The coloured drawing is not as good as my line drawing, and it has something to do with the proportion of elements (such as lines, light and shade, colours, textures, etc.). 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After carefully drawing the lineart and colouring the character, I added some simple shade very quickly. The shade is really really rough, since I just wanted to see how to deal with colours. The drawing with simple shade here looks a bit better than the coloured one mentioned above. When I want to draw light and shade as well as colours, I often design environments that are a bit more complicated than the light background of the shaded one here in order to see how the colours affect each other, how the coloured light affect the environment, and to try to achieve colour harmony, which is basically what I do when I paint some particular kinds of paintings. In this case, I created some buildings (in fact, abstract textures would be alright as well) around Danny. I also needed to tell what Danny was feeling, so the environment was pretty important. (The light and shade in the drawings don't make much sense, but it doesn't matter because the drawings look fine) I like the red one, so it's more detailed and carefully drawn than the blue one. Honestly I can draw better light and shade and use a variety of greys to create a better drawing (or painting?), but this time I didn't want to focus on colours and light, so these two drawings are supposed to be rougher than my lineart. 😂
I planned to draw blood but I was too tired to study blood or find some references. In the end there's no blood in the drawing.

Happy New Year 2021!
Yeah, it's a few days late, but it's still the New Year weekend so hopefully that's okay 😊
Tumblr media
To celebrate, I wanted to draw some OCs from blogs I've been following this year, or OCs of friends who I've enjoyed talking to! So I drew OCs of @eye-cri, @dark-wizardess and @explosiveglitterqueen ! Aidma, Lillias and Lizzy! I also drew Berry too, she's kind of my main OC :)
This was kind of nerve-wracking honestly, since I really wanted to do these three justice! They're all so different and beautifully designed, and I did my best to get them just right. As for the dresses, I just tried to pick gowns that I thought would either compliment the character's design, or were similar to something I've seen them drawn in before. I really hope you like them!
I would've loved to have drawn more OCs of some of the blogs I've loved this year, but it was tricky to find references to use and figure out how I was going to draw them together. I'd love to try this again sometime though!
Anyway, I wish everyone who sees this the happiest new year! Here's hoping 2021 can be a little better than 2020!! 😄🎉❤
Obligatory art rambling ahead! Proceed at your own risk!
Would you believe I've been working on this art since November? I originally planned to make this Christmas-themed, but some stuff came up and I wasn't able to work on it, so I postponed until new year (Even then I was still late). This was a lot of trial and error, since I was trying to make my own reference for the first time, then trying to change the proportions and style to match my own, and I went for a much sketchier line art style, which I'm definitely not used to. But I think it was good practice, and I'm hoping to do more stuff like it in the future.I also worked much smaller this time, only 1080p, which was much easier even if the final product isn't as high definition as normal.
If you're curious, the dresses I picked are modelled after some of my favourite Holiday Barbie looks! Aidma's is my personal favourite, the 2008 dress, Lillias is wearing the 2015 dress (in a different colour), Berry is in 2011, and Lizzy's is the 2017 dress.
Also, a quick thing to add If I got anything wrong in my drawings of Aidma, Lillias and Lizzy, feel free to let me know, and I'll private the post until I fix it! I want you guys to be happy since these are your OCs after all! I was especially worried about Aidma's eye colour and Lillias' dress, and I kind of had to go with instinct here 😅

Thunderbolt Fantasy - Lin Xue Ya
a/n: so this is actually a suuuuuuper late birthday present for @ghoul--chan who wanted a Lin fic;;; My whole drive for this was "What if Shang put Lin in timeout for being sketchy and Lin ran into someone sketchier than he"...and then this happened 🤣 Happy Birthday!
Tumblr media
Lin Xue Ya wandered the streets, eyes appreciatively taking note of the wares on display. It would be so easy to just pluck the odd bobble off their shelf. But two reasons prevented him from even trying to pinch any artisan items—one, these were simple craftsmen who were just doing their best for a living. Not fun and not fair to steal from them. Reason number two, if he so much as glanced the wrong way at these goods, he was most certainly sure that Shang Bu Huan would tear him a new one.
Not that he feared Shang.
The man was a gentle giant at worse. All bark and no bite unless it truly actually mattered, and defending a normal person's livelihood seemed like the perfect excuse to try and take a stab at Lin. Because even though said-swordsman wasn't there at the moment with him, somehow he would know. Ever since the problem with Mie Tian Hai, Shang seemed to consider him a very one-trick pony. And while Lin would love to disagree, his friend always seemed to know when he had ruffled the feathers of a target or tried some unsavory slight of hand.
So he passed through the town without much event.
Or so he thought.
Building camp underneath a tree, Lin settled down for the evening, his hand going to the shelter of his robe for his pipe. Much to his alarm he realized said item was missing. This was utterly unacceptable.
Rushing back along the path where he came from he realized that the town from earlier was missing. His brow quirked and he slowed his pace. Had he been imagining things? Surely not. He analyzed his surroundings carefully, taking note of his path and the trees that lined the road. His crimson gaze narrowed and he sauntered along the side. The dirt was really. The leaves were real. All of this was real. And after all was he not a master of deception? If Lin knew anything it was the distinct and luring trace of an illusion.
A woman's laughter drew his attention and he lifted a brow to meet her bemused gaze. She hid behind a fox mask, her hair dark black, the faintest shimmers of blue when the light caught it just right. Many robes adorned her,  their unique shape unfamiliar to Dong Li style, but perhaps maybe remnant of Xi You. But that was not something Lin particularly cared about, since she twirled his pipe carelessly in her grasp.
"Ma'am," his voice was even and cool, hardly any note if interest to it. "It seems you may have pilfered something, unaware of who the owner maybe. I'd ask you return my pipe."
If Shang ever complained about Lin being a weasel, Lin would like to point to this instance and say he is but a gentleman first above all else.
The woman laughed, the tinkling sound muffled by the mask. "Well Enigmatic Gale, it certainly was easy to borrow from you. At least moreso than I expected."
"Oho, so you stole that knowing who I was?" His fine brow twitched, and as much as he'd like to strangle her—he had to begrudgingly admit she'd been daring (and successfully so) to try something like this in broad daylight.
"All fun things must come to an end though," and she gracefully flicked the pipe in her hand and offered it to him. "Just a test to see how things panned out."
Lin smiled coyly and took the tool back. "It's best not to toy with things that have unpredictable reactions."
"It all worked out well in the end," she purred, taking a slow step back. "After all, you couldn't even tell where the dream began and where it ended."
"Dream?" He demanded.
And then someone was snapping in his face.
He stared in disbelief at the offending hand. It was one of the merchants from earlier, the one whose tickets he'd briefly considered stealing from before remembering Shang would gut him if he did anything shady. But he had already left the village, and he'd already settled for the night. But as he turned on his heels and took in his surroundings it seemed he had never left the marketplace. In fact it seemed as though it was still late afternoon, and peak merchant hours at that.
It seemed the dream, or whatever the strange woman in the fox mask called it, was truly over.
Lin stared at the merchant, who was asking if he were okay, and waved at them before walking away. He smiled to himself and figured he would take a minor detour on his return to his companions.
Lin Xue Ya had a fox to out-fox.

Ok, I might have seen only a little bit of Lupin content (Castle of Cagliostro, Farewell to Nostradamus, Mystery of Mamo, and a couple other episodes and movies), and I’m only on the fourth episode, BUT.
I cannot for the LIFE of me figure out why on EARTH people don’t like The Woman Called Fujiko Mine.
This is possibly one of the best, cleverest, sexiest, most resourceful Fujiko interpretations I’ve seen, Miyazaki’s camo-wearing Fujiko aside. She’s utterly brilliant so far, and her characterization as a femme fatale is so fantastic -- she is a pretty face, and she’ll absolutely use that to her advantage, but she’s also smart as a whip, cunning as a fox, and not at all meant to be taken lightly or underestimated (No wonder we stan).
The way she interacts with others and her personal perspective is just... utterly wonderful to see in the series (the amount of bi vibes I’m picking up in this series is off the charts, and I am SO HERE FOR IT).
The art style isn’t like the anime, either -- it’s sketchier, darker, and it hits different, but in a gripping, gorgeous way. It fits the theme and the tone the story is setting, but thus far, this series has been EVERYTHING I could have wanted in a Fujiko-centric story. It’s bold, it’s complex, it’s subtle but beautiful, just like our girl.
(Lupin is also a highlight, though I’m not at all trying to take away from a series about Fuji -- he’s just running around as his grinning, sh*t-starting, “Today I will cause problems on purpose”-self, and I love him for that.)

This is a fanart piece inspired by someone else’s AU (Alternate Universe) set in the Klaus world. It’s by @chronicsheepdrawing!
It’s a pretty rough drawing, as you can see by some of the sketchier lines and certain details - it also suffers from partly intentional missing eye syndrome as a result of creative issues. I was really struggling to strike a balance between the fantastic, memorable and cartoony design that Jesper has, and my own work, but I’m an artist that has a very particular semi-realistic style without even trying. ...Unfortunately it doesn’t bode well with Jesper’s nature, so while I figure that out, I just decided to give it a shot without trying to compromise my own style too much, and here we are. Not too happy with his face, but I tried.
This AU was an excellent way to make it work due to its darker nature. I might do some more Klausy styled things with that AU in the future and just Klaus in general, but you’re going to have to bear with me for now. (Why did I put so much effort into the hand...?)

Let Go of Her ~ Hyunjin
Summary: (Requested) Hey could I get a 57, 14, 8, 42 with Hyunjin from skz with some angst maybe like badboy Hyunjin
Warnings: violence and attempted rape, it doesn't go far
Request here
❤❤❤
You had called Hyunjin, letting him know you wanted to visit him. It was night, so he told you to wait, and he'd come get you since he lived in the sketchier part of town. You ignored his warning and set off anyway, walking to where he lived, figuring it wasn't that late. As you walked, you noticed two men emerge from between two houses, walking behind you. They weren't too close, so you didn't panic, as people walk all the time.
"Hey, sugarcakes!" On of the men called out to you. You ignored him and sped up, walking faster. You took your phone out quickly to try and call Hyunjin. You had just pressed the call button when the men caught up with you, one grabbing you by your collar, wrapping an arm around your neck to keep you in place. The other one went in front of you, leaning forward. He was so close, you could smell his rancid breath.
"What's a beautiful girl like doing here?" He sneered.
"You smell that?" He sniffed the air, "the scent of sexual tension is in the air." He looked at your ringing phone in your hand and snatched it, slamming it against the ground and stomping on it.
"Let me go!" You begged, "please!"
He only got closer, his friend lifting you to be eye level with him.
"You're really close right now" he said mockingly, his hand beginning to trail up your side.
You tried to kick, but the other man, forced you to kneel, holding your legs in place with his own. The man above you began to unbutton his pants.
"I dare you to touch her again," a familiar voice came from behind the man. The man turned to see Hyunjin, and the rest of Stray Kids behind him.
"Like this?" The man taunted, poking your forehead.
"Quit smirking at me! I'm serious!" Hyunjin yelled, approaching slowly. You looked at him, pleading with your eyes. He made eye contact with you before pulling out his favorite hunting knife, pointing it at both men.
You remembered that knife, his dad had gifted it to him, and he showed you how to whittle sticks and just how to use it in general.
The men seemed surprised, but didn't back off so easily. Hyunjin focused on the man who was holding you down. He approached him with the knife outstretched.
"Let her go," he commanded, only making the man laugh.
"Or what?" He laughed, "your little posse gonna hurt me?"
Hyunjin pressed his knife to the arm around your neck, pressing it hard enough to nick the skin. Blood seeped slowly from the wound.
"Son of a bitch!" The man yelled, making the other man charge at Hyunjin, only for Chan to knock him out cold. The man let go of you now, throwing you to the side like a rag doll. He charged at Hyunjin, only for him to move to the side, making the man miss.
"Go!" Hyunjin demanded, "and take your damn friend!"
The man was embarrassed, but tried to hide it, picking up his passed out friend and leaving with the promise of "finishing this." Hyunjin rushed to your side, cradling your body.
"My girl, are you okay?" He did a quick check on your body, "did they do anything?"
You hadn't realized you were holding in a cry until now, when you let it go into Hyunjin's arms. He held you close, rubbing your back and shushing you, kissing your head.
"We're here now," he would say, "nothing bad will happen now."
The rest of Stray Kids sat around you two. Felix looking at your shattered phone.
"Let's put money together and buy her a new one," he said, addressing the boys. They all made some noise of agreement.
"Let's get you cleaned up," Hyunjin said once you had calmed. He picked you up bridal style and carried you the rest if the way to his place, promising to protect you with his life.

I’m right where I want to be style wise but I don’t think I posted any recent stuff?
First is a quick Beck portrait to get back into the swing of things. That’s how my finished art is currently looking.
In these 2 Jasper drawings I’m trying to figure out a sketchier style. I'm hyped for 1917 and I'm really in the mood for WW1 content. These are set before he gets dumped into my sci-fi canon which happens just after The Somme in 1916.

Season 3, Things 45-47
So the other day I sketched out a new design for Dan Carter, an old OC of mine
it fucking sucked
Tumblr media
but I decided to try again and try to simplify it, with the same technique I used to simplify the design of the OC from the original Thing 1 like three years ago: I drew him on tiny paper with pen instead of paper:
Tumblr media
I figured that was an improvement, and it’s closer to my normal style. obviously I had to change his jawline quite a bit with some.. unfortunately thick strokes cause I overshot it on the first go around. Then I did it again but in pencil:
Tumblr media
This one I quite like. I’m starting to develop a real affinity for a looser, sketchier style, and I’m not complaining one bit

I love your art and you and everything that you do 😢❤ do you do comissions?
Tumblr media
Thank you so much Nonny, I love you too!!! (〃▽〃)
I do accept commissions from time to time! In fact, I’m working on one at the moment, with another customer still deciding if they still want theirs~
My prices are only listed on Flight Rising for now, and I’m still having trouble putting them in a coherent format for Tumblr… that, and I assumed there wouldn’t be much interest over here (つ﹏⊂)
Still trying to figure out a way to lower the price by maybe trying out a sketchier style (the current ones are really detailed pieces that take a great deal of my time), but I’ll definitely make a Tumblr-friendly commission post when that happens! Thank you ever so much for the interest, dear one! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Okay, so after seeing the responses on the post, this is what I’ve decided to do with this blog to make sure I don’t keep having these super long periods of inactivity:
I’m gonna stop answering everyone in order. Sorry y’all, I really tried my best to do that for the longest time, but it just didn’t work out. Some questions I deem repetitive and/or have been previously answered in some way or another will be answered all at once via taking a screenshot of the asks and posting it with one drawing.
HOWEVER this isn’t all a bad thing: of the people I do answer, the answers will likely be a little different! I’m going to be honing my art style a little and trying to push it in a direction that I like. This basically means that it’s out with the thick black lineart and in with colored lineart! In addition, it’s also more likely that I’ll post more polished artwork as answers, especially if inspiration strikes me.
I may also start using multiple styles to answer, depending on whether or not my ipad (my primary digital art tool) or my computer (secondary digital art tool) are handier. They’ll all be thematically the same, although I tend to be sketchier on the computer.
And... That’s that! The next few asks are probably gonna be sketchy and experiment-y, so please bear with me as I figure things out.
