Thinking about how Zelda first coughed flowers and panicked, before she regained her memories and lived her life knowing she will never be complete. Thinking about how the two Zeldas that followed her also coughed flowers, at a young age, with no knowledge what did they do to deserve this. Thinking about how Zelda cried the hardest when the itch in her throat had finally stopped after she sent him away.

Thinking about how every Zelda who met him will never feel complete. No matter how friendly or close she is to him, she knew the moment she saw the flowers, that she would never be loved the way she loved him.

Danny and Damian have been engaged since they were babies. The Fentons wanted access to Lazarus water, and they made a deal with the league of assassins to get it. Danny is trans. Danny and Damian haven't seen each other since Damian was 10 (I imagine Danny is anywhere from a few months to a year younger, so Danny was either 9 or 10 at the time). They had been seeing each other twice a year the last time they saw each other. They used to have more time scheduled to spend together before Damian started training to be an assassin. They weren't getting along when they last saw each other. Danny was upset/angry that his life had been planned out for him and that he was going to be in an arranged marriage. Damian was kind of a jerk at the time (because of trauma but he was still a jerk), and he thought Danny was being a jerk too because having his whole life planned for him was all Damian knew and it didn't make sense to him to get upset about it because that's his reality that he just had to accept. Damian does care about Danny, and cares about what he wants too. But they were kids. They were upset about their situation and frustrated and angry with each other and their families. They haven't had contact with each other at all since Damian came to Gotham.

Skip forward a few years and Damian has fallen in love with his best friend, Jon. He tells his family and Jon about the arranged marriage even though it's likely not going to be a thing anymore since he has cut ties with the league.

Damian and Jon start dating.

Danny is 16 and on the run from his parents and the GIW. He only managed to escape after he had already been captured and vivisected. He goes to Gotham because it'll be harder for his parents and the GIW to find him there. He runs into Damian and Jon at a park while he's at a point in his life where he's got nothing left an he's just sad, scared, angry, lonely, and he'd just about sell what's left of his life for a hug.

y'know what we don't talk about enough? Hazel died. We talk about how she grew up in the 30's and 40's and we talk about how out of place she feels in the modern world, but! She died! She was dead! She has spent more time dead than alive, and not by a close margin!

How does that effect a person??? We got some of it in the flashbacks, but once those caught up with her present timeline and she shared them, they just kind of... disappeared. And she was a regular girl with some weird past experiences. That's one way of doing it, sure!

I think it would have been a lot cooler if she was just a touch creepier. If she felt a little bit Wrong. Yeah, in general she's more approachable than her brother, she's more sociable and less closed off, but. If you actually spend any time with her, it can be difficult to tell which child of the underworld is actually more unsettling.

Hazel is bright of personality and has a dazzling smile, but sometimes she'll just... shut down. She'll go completely blank for like half an hour and nobody knows what to do with it. Sometimes she forgets she's alive. Sometimes she'll spout the grimmest shit you've ever heard like it's nothing, she won't even notice it's weird until the room goes quiet. She spent decades in Asphodel, which is designed to make people forget about themselves and wander around for eternity, only she didn't have the luxury of forgetting! Wild! After she comes back to life, sometimes she forgets that she's allowed to Do Stuff now. She can spend so long sitting and staring at nothing. Sometimes she'll start crying on cloudless days because it hits her again that she can actually feel the warmth of the sun on her skin and she can hear birdsong. Every little mundane experience is a blessing and she will make you remember that in the most foreboding way possible.

#okay so i don't know if i like this line but it was meant to kind of explain his “armor” #since he's been putting it together since the incident started #but i'm not sure if i like the line or the hat anymore so... oops #(also it was meant to be in a conversation with the final girl #they don't meant until closer to the end of the plot #aka after most of the rest of the cast has already died and she's left mostly alone #but they team up to make it through the end #which also involves probably teaming up with the detective who's been free roaming and occasionally causing problems) #anyway i love keaton he's chill #i didn't ever decide what his major was or why he was in the building but he was probably working on a project or something #and when the incident started all of his survival training from his outdoorsy survival enthusiast parents taught him kicked in #so he found a weird hat in the science lab and “armor” in the art studios #also he has a service dog because I wanted a dog and I think this vest swatch looks a lot like the vests used by service dogs #(although it's not really prefect and in the future I'll try and find one that's cc and more accurate) #sorry that was long but I really like him he's cool #keaton kendrick #scout the dog #day 11 #the hunter #windbrookslashed #sims 4 #ts4 #sims 4 screenshots #ts4 screenshots #tw injury #tw death mention #tw illness #tw illness mention
