Hello everyone! I'm excited to start this blog and share my weight loss journey with you all.
I'm sure many of us can relate to the struggles of trying to lose weight, especially after having the SADI surgery.
What is SADI-S: SADI-S (Single anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy) is a newer variant of duodenal switch surgery, which for three decades has helped obese patients control their weight. The key benefit of SADI-S is that one intestinal bypass is made, rather than two, resulting in less time in surgery and reduced risk of intestinal leakage.
Let's look at the rollercoaster a little👇🏾👇🏾:
I remember feeling so hopeless before my surgery, like I was stuck in a never-ending cycle of dieting and gaining weight back. But since having the surgery, l've noticed a significant change in my appetite and eating habits. It's amazing how much more mindful I am now about what l put into my body.
However, the journey isn't without its challenges. There are days when I feel like giving up, when the cravings are too strong, or when I don't see the results I want as quickly as I'd like. That's why I'm so grateful for this group and the support that comes with it. Knowing that I'm not alone in this journey and that there are others who understand what I'm going through is incredibly comforting.
So, l'd love to hear from you all! How has your weight loss journey been so far? What are some of the challenges you've faced, and how have you overcome them?
I'm Hailey, and I had VSG surgery on December 13, 2022. When starting my weight loss Journey in September of 2022 I was 250 pounds exactly. On the day of surgery I was down to 217, and today I am down to 176. Are there any other sleevers on here? I would love to make some friends!
I am also 25, I have 2 kiddos, a husband, and a German Shepherd puppy.
Hey it’s been a minute….by minute I mean like 2 years.
Still have been on my weight loss journey. Got to my lowest, went thru a bad breakup, then a bad depression… and here I am on the other side…but 40lbs heavier. Trying to get back to getting in consistent good habit! One day at a time!
will release a super highway of health benefits, releasing fat, increasing calmness, supporting a healthy inflammation response and repairing metabolism.

Important Consideration Before Choosing Turkey for Your Gastric Sleeve Procedure
Gone were the days when every individual was physically fit. But the modern sedentary lifestyle is paving the way for many severe illnesses, like obesity.
A study has found that nearly 43% of humans among obese people have an inactive lifestyle. The rest is due to medical reasons.
Yet, whatever the reason is, being overweight is a concerning issue. Due to this, people are targeting Turkey for their gastric sleeve surgery.
This process involves the removal of a part of the stomach. The surgeon then joins the remaining parts to form a new, sleeve-shaped stomach. The procedure is known as a sleeve gastrectomy or weight loss surgery.
Thus, Turkey is a well-known place for patients seeking this surgery. This is because of the quality of care and the low cost of the procedure.
But you should consider some important factors when choosing gastric sleeve Turkey.
These are as follows:
First of all, choose a surgeon who is experienced in performing weight-loss surgery. They must have a good track record of success.
Make sure to clear up all your doubts and ask the surgeon about their medical history and potential risks.
Instead of going through an intermediary agency, consult directly with the clinic and surgeon.
Remember to make it clear that the clinic should provide your transportation from the airport to your hotel and the hospital.
Another important consideration is the accreditation of the clinic by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
If you are planning to get weight-loss surgery in Turkey, take these considerations into account. Thus, choose the best surgeon and get your desired physique!
Yesterday was the first day of the rest of my life.
I was a successful surgery and the nurses taking care of me all said I was recovering well. So I got to go home today! I missed my dogs and my own bed 😅
I'm so thankful for God leading me through this. I pray that the Holy Spirit gives me strength to get through the toughest parts for the recovery journey and that Jesus is by my side the entire way.
At the moment I'm mostly dealing with the discomfort of liquids going into my stomach. That's normal for the first couple of days because it's swollen and tender. This was not a gentle surgery by any means, so I won't be 100% right away. That's all a mental game, pain can be managed but thought can't be turned off.
