Here’s some positivity for headmates who are walk-ins!
Walk-ins, or system members who “walked in” from somewhere else inside or outside their system’s mind, are valid as headmates and are important both to their systems and the plural community overall! We cherish and value all walk-ins, and want you to know that you make your system and our spaces better just by existing in them. So here’s to all the walk-ins out there!
🌿 Shoutout to walk-ins who have become permanent residents of their system!
💙 Shoutout to walk-ins who split their time between their system and their own plane, world, or universe!
🕊 Shoutout to walk-ins who cannot control when and how they enter their system!
🦋 Shoutout to walk-ins who are from a different part of their system’s headspace, psyche, or subconscious!
💚 Shoutout to walk-ins who are thoughtforms, paros, daemons, or soulbonds!
🌊 Shoutout to walk-ins with roles or who help their system accomplish tasks in daily life!
🤍 Shoutout to walk-ins who are from dreams, nightmares, paracosms, or their system’s imaginations!
🐬 Shoutout to walk-ins who entered their system due to a particular member’s special interest or hyperfixation!
☘️ Shoutout to walk-ins who feel faint, blurry, or otherwise struggle to maintain their existence in their system!
💠 Shoutout to walk-ins who consider themselves visitors, travelers, wanderers, vagrants, or otherwise “only passing through!”
❕ Shoutout to walk-ins who rely on gatekeepers to facilitate their entering and exiting their system!
To put it plainly, the plural community would not be what it is today without walk-ins. Regardless of your system’s origins, or the language you use to describe your plurality, if you are a walk-in, we wan to remind you that you are a valid member of your system, the world/universe/area you come from, and the plural community as a whole!
We hope all walk-ins can try to take it easy and treat themselves with gentleness and compassion today. Know that you are loved and cherished just the way you are, and we’re rooting for you in all that you do! Thank you so much for reading, and have a wonderful day!

One thing that I really appreciated in rvb restoration was the way that Tex died.
Since the beginning, her entire existence has been based on the desires of others. Her fate was never in her control, either from being destined to fail, or by Church choosing to forget her. Despite being brought back time and time again against her will, she has never had any true agency in her life.
But the thing that’s so amazing and refreshing about this time is that Tex went out on her own terms. It was her decision, and she finally ended the cycle of tormented AI.
Her entire story was one of being unable to achieve anything that really mattered to her. She had the role of the woman that was there to suffer for the development of the man. Although in the end, she was able to take her fate into her own hands, and do things on her own terms. She was finally her own person not controlled by Church’s perception of her, and yet she still chose to die with him by her side.
They truly loved each other so much, until the very end.
Tex rvb I love you. You deserve everything

They are raising hell just to get back to each other! And the parallels in their journey are endless ♡♡♡
Have you guys also noticed that they've pulled a page from Niel Gaimans book with Good Omens? They've given each of them their own side of the screen when showing them in closeup 😍 and I love it sm!

how?? did steve throw his back out?? and what were they doing about it (he really needs to stop doing things he's told not to do. i adore him for it though)
by the way! thanks so much for this cool thing! i really love all of the ways you explore these lovely characters
Well, it started with Steve stating that he was going to move a cabinet in Eddie’s studio and Eddie telling him not to because it was heavy as shit.It continued with Eddie saying to give him a minute and he’ll help, and then the famous last line, “Nah, I’ll be fine.”
And it ended with Steve’s back all out of wack.
It hurts to walk. It hurt to breathe. Steve is positive, “I broke my back.”
“You didn’t break your back,” Eddie tells him like he’d know anything. “You don’t lift from your legs like you’re supposed to. You pulled a muscle.”
“Fuck off.”
“Brave words for someone that needs my help getting up the stairs.”
It takes a hundred years for Steve to get out of the studio and into bed, and every second of it was painful. Steve suggests that they call Max since she’s a physical therapist but Eddie insists that he can help Steve on his own because he’s been to a chiropractor every week for the last decade and a half, and he’s ‘picked up’ a few things.
“Don’t try to crack my back,” Steve threatens, face down in a pillow. “You’ll kill me.”
Eddie responds by throwing his leg over Steve’s thighs and straddling him, “Don’t worry. I’m gonna give you a massage so good you’ll cream your pants.”
Steve lifted his head just enough to give Eddie a look and Eddie grins back, “Metaphorically.”
