DYSFUNCTIONAL WRITING WILD HEADCANON you mind want to skip the post

Erika doesn't understand why Leiftan yearns for big revolution for Eldarya and its people. When his plan is discovered she takes it as an insult- why would he want to change that holly world, that is so pretty? She is groomed (kinda brutal word, but lacking a better one) by HH and Miiko, both privileged powerful faeries, coming from coveted races. She knows that there are some faeries in less fortunate state, but she mostly ignores this fact. The Masked Man has to be stopped, Crystal healed, Guard protected- then everything will be ok (doesn't matter that before Eel Crystal's corruption things werent' exactly pretty).

Now, her sister Imogene happened to appear in Eldarya in much less favourable place. First, she was attacked by faeries (she was a human, on a teritory occupied by Templars), then rescued by Templars. Her status in Citadel was ambivalent at best, but you can nicely put it as "glorified prisoner". She is not impressed by Eldarya, wants to go home and one of her most important choices is to drink potion of Mnemosyne, tying her fate with Eldarya forever. Because Guard Eel has no love for her and because she has noticed flaws in her previous "protectors" (Templars and fenghuangs) she understand that lots of things can and should be changed. She has no will to keep status quo. Where her and Leiftan's views on revolution differ is method. He opts for something violent, ready to be a martyr for a new era. Imogene is more down to earth and wants changes to be more organic, slow but least hurtful for everyone around.

Since Percy can talk to sea creatures, I'd like to think that one day he passed a pet shop with all these fish screaming at him in agony. Since then there has been a giant aquarium in cabin 3 with fish. He converses with them daily when he's at camp. He gave them all names (they were delighted to hear his suggestions).

There is one grumpy grouch that always tries to eat as much food before all the other fish. He has to keep him forcibly apart in a tiny water ball during dinner. He named him Zeus. Percy doesn't give a shit. Poseidon knows and thinks it is hilarious.

Chiron, who takes care of them when Percy's gone, cannot understand them but he doesn't like the way they look so judgemental. They are very much gossiping about him to his face.

😽💕I headCannon that when those two summon their horses together, they get really affectionate. The sheriff's horse is more like a big old golden retriever, playful and mischievous, and rarely ever listens to its owner. While over here, Mac's is more well-behaved and obedient, and they can get quite sassy sometimes. I'm not sure what to call it. It's hard to separate those two, so they try not to summon them at the same time.

They're also very affectionate to the monkeys especially the opposite ones.🐶🐎✨💕

😄I want a scenario where they let the horses stay instead of just poofing them out of existence so MK/MEI can play with the horses just a bit longer since they were begging them by giving them the puppy dog eyes (especially on Mei's side; she's a horse girl fan), and after a long while, the sheriff notices that his horse Nimbus was acting a little more strange and protective over the Smokey horse, letting them eat first, and just never leaving their side. All sorts of strange behavior on the Nimbus side. All he ever notices from the shadow horse is that they were a little sluggish, but he doesn't think too much of it.😗🤠🐵

After years of waiting what was exactly Leiftan’s goal and plan, I had to work on it myself because those snippets Beemoov gave us didn’t make sense. When we met him he seems like a calm, rational person, but it seems to be a facade- sturdy one, but still, just a mask. His love to Erika, belief in aengels’ supremacy (he is not the only one who looks down to other races tho), and desire to repay for his tragedies makes a delicious mix. To me he really seems like a person who would create a new, better order, but through blood and war.

Country singer Steve Harrington, who has always leaned more into the pop country side of things (think Wanted by Hunter Hayes), but wants his third album to be more true to old school country roots.

His label agrees but only if he works with Eddie Munson, a rock star who had to leave the spotlight when he got kicked out of his band for, well, rockstar behavior gone too far.

Steve isn't amused, especially because he doesn't care for metal music or rock star shenanigans. He was "raised better" and doesn't think Eddie could sit down and write songs with actual emotion and feeling.

Cue long songwriting sessions where Eddie is trying his hardest to be on his best behavior because he knows this is his last shot at being taken seriously, and Steve being surprised every time Eddie proves that he's talented as a songwriter and musician, well outside the scope of just metal and rock.

They write a song that they're both so proud of, Steve asks if he'll record it with him just for fun. The released version would just be Steve.

Eddie agrees.

It's an incredible duet, something country music has needed forever, but Eddie doesn't want that version out there.

The label genuinely accidentally releases their version instead of the Steve only version. As soon as they realize, they remove it from official places, but it's too late.

Fans have already heard it and have gone crazy over it, begging them to let the radio play this version, begging for this version to be available for streaming. The Steve version is great, but it doesn't have the emotion that's laced in the tone of them singing together.

Eddie finally gives in when he sees how happy Steve is about the reaction to it.

But the label decides they want them to tour together, have Eddie work as his opening act, perform his acoustic songs that haven't been officially released anywhere. Eddie can't do it.

He can't go back into that lifestyle. He couldn't do it to his band, who made him promise that he'd come back to them when he got his shit straight. He can't do it to his fans, who stuck by him through some rough shit, but probably wouldn't support a fucking country music career. He definitely can't do it to Steve, who deserves to have someone with him who can be trusted not to go off the deep end.

So he runs. He hides. His uncle welcomes him home, congratulates him on finally embracing his country roots.

It doesn't take long for Steve to find him.

Because he'd been more honest with Steve than he'd ever been with anyone. He told him about his childhood, his Uncle Wayne, his struggle to make it. He told him about his worse struggle when he did make it, how he got in with the wrong people, the wrong things. Prioritized the lifestyle more than his own life.

Of course Steve knew where he'd run to.

Of course Steve came to remind him what his life could be if he allowed himself to find new priorities.

Steve's lips were pretty persuasive, but not nearly as persuasive as his promises to remind him what he could have if he kept his life his priority.

"But what if I let you down?"

"You won't."

"But-"

"No. You won't. You're gonna do amazing things for yourself. And I'm gonna be there to see it happen. That's all."

And he was.

They co-wrote Steve's entire album while Eddie worked on recording his own original songs. He liked that it was an old school rock and roll feel, some blues, some country, some hints of metal sneaking in on a couple songs.

He called his band to come help him with a song, hesitant to even ask, but they came. Of course they came.

He called his Uncle Wayne to play banjo on a song, worried that he wouldn't like the heavier electric guitar notes over it. Of course he loved being involved.

When their tour started, he let himself actually feel nervous.

But instead of running, he looked at the man who supported him through it, even when his own career was on the line.

Of course Steve was there.

I love me some eldritch, incomprehensible ghost speak in fics, but in my heart ghost speak sounds like a theremin being played.

Like, it's one of those instruments that can sound so much *like* a human voice, and sound nothing like one all in the same song. It can make kind of chipping noises, it can make some truly horrifying sounds. It can be beautiful, it can be creepy, it's peak ghost speak to me

This whole debate about where Link lives is funny because:

1) there's nowhere else where it's implied that he lives (and he needs to live somewhere ??? Lol. Also, he can sleep in Zelda's bed, but not in any other NPC's bed)

2) it is canon that he's practically always with Zelda (so it isn't practical for him to live far away from her)

3) it is also canon that Zelda made that secret room to concentrate better when she works alone (why would she need an extra room if she lives alone?)

Edit to add: 4) she hid her gift for Link outside the house so he wouldn't find it until after their investigations (I'm citing the text from Zelda's diary). If he doesn't live in the Hateno house there would be no risk of him finding it and no need to hide it outside

I think Nintendo just made it ambiguous because they'd rather being killed than making a main character ship canon, lol

i gave the wedding designs an upgrade. since Zelda has her sacred light power, i think diamonds would be the official gemstone they feature at their wedding. the rings are inversions of one another. Link’s showing the front of the circlet, Zelda’s featuring the back.
