There's too much negativity today (and this week) to offset this I thought maybe it would be nice to do a "words of kindness" thing. How it works is you can send me an ask [ my inbox ] or reblog this post and tag others and say something nice. You don't even have to direct the words to anyone, they can just be general uplifting words of kindness. If you send me an ask, I will post it with no commentary and tag the person with whom the ask is about or not if it's a general uplifting post.

I just think it would be nice to uplift people and show some love in a fandom that we all love so much.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!

I hope you all had a great Easter and a great week. I have just a few things to say today. There’s a little phase you might of heard, how we are all Children of God. Well, that’s not entirely true. We are all CREATIONS of God, but not all of us are His Children. Romans 8: 12 - 25 tells us about this. When we give our lives to Him, being His child is a benefit of Salvation.

Being adopted as a Child of God, your name and identity will change, and your future is well promised to you. You are also a co heir with Christ and we will share in His Glory, but we will also share in His Suffering. As being a part of His family, we must share the same burden, as well as the blessings.

But the Suffering will end, and that will give us hope. God knew that we would go through hard times but He would never give us as much as what Jesus went through on that Cross, as He Loves us too much to see another one of His children to go through that again.

If we choose to live our lives in Christ, then we don’t have to go back to our old ways, He have saved us from it, and we can thrive in His glory as we don’t have to live our lives alone. He’s always by our side, we just have to reach out for His Hand.

I'm in a state of clarity today. My brain fog has lifted for a brief moment. So here's something others constantly have to remind me of that I think someone else may need.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's very important. Whether you're trans, cis, straight, gay, bi, pan, black, brown, white, whatever you are, wherever you are:

You are enough.

Whatever you are in life right now is enough. You are good enough. You are strong enough. You are important enough. You are enough.

Whatever your best is, so long as you're trying, that is perfect.

The expectations of others may be different. They may be lower than or exceed what your best is. But their expectations can't change what your best is. Because that's the absolute best you can do at that given time, and so long as you are doing your best, that is exactly what you need to do.

Setting your own expectations to match someone else's is being unfair to yourself. The only person whose expectations you need to meet at the end of the day is your own.

Even if your best is getting a shower today.

Even if your best is picking up a bottle and throwing it in the recycling bin.

Even if your best is waving back to someone when they wave at you.

Even if your best is making a phone call you really didn't want to.

We all move at different speeds. We all have a limit we can't surpass. We all have wants and needs we must meet.

Our best is constantly fluctuating and changing each day, and somedays, it may be more than other days. Beating ourselves down for something that we gave our absolute all to isn't going to change the outcome. It'll just add insult to injury. All that that means is you need to keep going and try again, because your best today won't be the same as your best tomorrow.

So every single day, your best is all you need to give. And your best is enough.

Because you are enough.

why should palestinians have to leave behind their land because israel wont stop killing them. why should anyone have to leave behind their life and memories and sentimental value just because an aggressor is left unchallenged. please think this sentiment through and delete it from your thoughts. instead of blaming an oppressed people for living in a hostile land, ask who is making that land hostile to live in.

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful week. But perhaps your week wasn’t as amazing as you thought. Well that’s alright, all you need is just a little bit of encouragement to keep your spirits up. And luckily, I have just the words to help you out.

Have you ever felt like you didn’t have control in your own life? Well that’s everyone to a point, but have you felt like you were being controlled to do the wrong things? That is called, being a slave to Sin.

Now what does being a slave to Sin means? Well, Romans Chapter 6 talks greatly about that, you should give it a read for the full answer. Simply put, it means that no matter how good you are as a person, and no matter how much good you can do, your true intentions aren’t as good as you thought. Because sin is still in control.

We can try to do things with good intentions, but it often falls into what we can get out of it. “What will this do for me!?” That alone is bad enough, but when you start trying to justify your actions for your selfish intentions… then that just proves the point, the point being that Sin is in control.

Well, there’s a saying that says, “We all fall short of the Glory of God.” And make no mistakes, that is very true. But as Christians, we don’t have to keep falling short on the Glory of God.

We will still Sin and makes mistakes within our lives, but because we are Alive in Christ, we have the connection with God, and he will always gives us his Glory. It like when we are trying to ride a bike, and of course we fall.

In Sin, we can choose not to get back up and quit, but if we try again, then we are basically on our own to figure out what to do next. But in the Glory of God, we can also choose not to get back up and quit, but if we try to get back up again, we’re not doing it alone. He’s gently holding our hand, telling us that “It’s alright, you’re ok. Let’s get up and try again.”

If you don’t want to get up now, then that’s okay. Sometimes we need a moment to take a moment to stop, and remember what we are doing, so that’s okay. But it’s not okay to stay down there for too long, and when you are ready to get up, are you going to get up on your own, or will you have someone there to help you, every step of the way.

Remember to walk FOLLOWING in the Lord, and not BRING HIM along with you.

The first real conversation Katniss has with Peeta is when he tells her that he wants to die as himself, that he doesn't want the games to change him into something he's not, and that he wants to keep his identity and prove he's more than just a piece in their games because that's the only thing he has left to care about.

The first time we see Lucy Gray she sings a song that basically says that nothing they could take from her was worth keeping. "Can't take my past. Can't take my history... You can't take my charm. You can't take my health."

The capitol has taken everything from them both, but at the same time, they could never take away who they are.

They are both likeable charismatic and funny, with the kindest hearts, and incredibly loyal to the people they care about.

At the same time, everything they do before the games, and during is calculated. Lucy Gray singing a love song and winning the hearts of the capitol. Peeta confesses he's in love with his district partner, therefore cementing her identity as desirable. Both of them know how to sway people with words, how to charm people, and how to manipulate crowds. Neither of them has any problem doing so to keep themselves, and the people they love safe.

Lucy Gray's song The Old Therebefore, about learning how to love and live her life to the fullest before death, a final and calculated stroke in a last-ditch effort to save herself from the arena. This evokes enough emotion in the watchers to get them to rise to their feet and plead for her life alongside Snow.

Snow, watching the 74th and preparing for the 75th Hunger Games sees Lucy Gray in Katniss. A young girl, from the 12th district. Unafraid at the reaping. Selling a false love story, manipulating a boy who loves her in order to get out and supporting the revolution with the mockingjay as her symbol.

He threatens her family to get her to sell that she and Peeta are in love, to prevent the revolution, because obviously, she's pretending. He's had experience with a girl just like her before. He has no doubt that she has the acting ability to sell this story because clearly, she manipulated the first Hunger Games in her favor, the same way Lucy Gray manipulated him.

Watching the interviews for the 75th Hunger Games he realizes-

Katniss is just an impulsive girl, in a Mockingjay dress she didn't know about, made by someone who supports the revolution.

Peeta is a boy who has the ability to move people with just his words. He made Katniss desirable, he was the one who sold the love story, and he was the one to make their romance seem real. Katniss only started the revolution because she would rather risk dying with him than live without him. A concept President Snow was completely unfamiliar with. And it is with all these realizations crashing around him Peeta drops the baby bomb. He knows the baby's not real, and so does Snow. But it evokes enough emotion in the watchers to get them to rise to their feet and plead for the lives of the tributes.

Is it Lucy Gray or Peeta?

By the time Snow realizes he's made a mistake, it's too late.

Peeta is still charming and manipulating the capitol. Katniss is in love.

He goes up against a kindhearted boy expecting to beat Sejanus again, only to find out that it's Lucy Gray he's fighting; knowing he will never be able to escape their ghosts.
