Can we get some scenario’s or headcanons where Kyos s/o puts some pheromone spray?
Oooooo this would be so hot, especially for kyo who i imagine is very sensitive to smell
It’s definitely fuck with him thats for sure
He wouldnt be able to get the delicious smell out of his head no matter what he did, the scent so strong that he could taste it on his tongue
Y did u smells so… you right now, it didnt make sense, usually u smelled so strongly of your favorite perfume and shampoo, you natural scent only available during times of pure intimacy, but now all he could take in was you, the fragrance pulling at his loin, reminding him of his primal purpose
He would be able to control himself ling before taking you somewhere private, tear your clothes off to nip and lick all over you until he found out exactly where your scent was strongest, but it was futile as you seemed to be bathed in it
The sex was intense, his mouth latched over all parts of you as he furiously pistoned into your heat, more of your scent filling the air and making him salivate
You know wat smelled better than your own pheromones?
The delectable concoction of both yours and his combining when he seeded your womb

“Oh, my beautiful flame.” Kyoujuro hums as he enters your shared bedroom, sending chills dancing down your spine as you await for him to approach from behind. You were applying your favorite color lipstick that would match well with his outfit of choice. Your desired taste was not on the menu when it came to your life now. You learned to accept it over time. His fashion taste was bearable, though, it reminded you of your place: beneath him.
Today was a special day; you get to meet his family. You have built up curiosity of Kyoujuro’s upbringing over the months you have been stuck with him. A man with a flame in his heart still manages to have ice in his veins. It was disturbing.
His large calloused palm found refuge on your shoulder, the heat sending a breeze upon your bones. You dared to meet his eyes in the mirror, attempting to mask the terror that lied within your pupils.
“Y-Yes, Kyoujuro?” You replied within a shaky breath, alerting Kyoujuro that you were still drowning in fear. He hated and loved it all at once.
“You look magnificent, my dear, but we must get going. My father and brother should not be kept waiting much longer.” Kyoujuro stated, keeping his gaze upon yours in the mirror. His words were calm and innocent, but his irises held dominance and control that dared you to try and make a fool out of him tonight in front of his family. You would never see the light of day again.
Nodding, you provide a false smile. “Okay, I’m ready.”
Your hand laces with your captor, his vigorous grip reminding you that even without chains upon your limbs, you are still within his shackles. You are always under his grasp and one thing Kyoujuro will refuse to do is ever let you go.
Approaching the Rengoku residence, Senjuro is quick to run out and greet his older brother. “Brother, you have finally arrived!” He beamed, a bright innocent smile glowing in the sunset. He looked just like his older brother. His locks were yellow with red tips, red eyes with yellow on the outside, and a smile that was soft yet sickening.
“‘Bout damn time.” A deep, drunken voice exited the home and into view. Kyoujuro is quick to push you behind him in a protective manner. Usually, that would annoy you, but this time, you appreciated it.
Shinjuro was a tall man, aggression swallowing him whole. You finally saw where Kyoujuro got his evil side from. His polite ways must come from his mother that is no longer here. You didn’t dare ask questions, but it was all starting to make sense now.
“My apologies, father. We were running a bit behind.” Kyoujuro apologized, his stance turning even more stiff when he noticed his father’s eyes lingered onto you.
Taking another sip of his sake, he gestured towards the inside of his home. “Dinner’s ready. Don’t let it get cold now.”
Kyoujuro led you up the stairs, Shinjuro’s pupils beaming upon you as you walked by. He mumbled something under his breath that wasn’t clear, but this sent Kyoujuro into high alert.
Sitting down around the dining area, Shinjuro sat at the head of the table. “Dinner smells lovely.” You compliment, earning a warning glare from Kyoujuro, but a less stiffened expression from Shinjuro. That was the only ‘thank you’ you were going to get out of him.
Starting off with the miso soup and white rice, you see where Kyoujuro got some of his cooking skills. Luckily, Kyoujuro has improved and made decent meals since you have been in his care.
Still, the meal was still somewhat edible and you were happy to be out of the house. Senjuro was the one to break the silence by flooding his brother’s ears about everything he wanted him to know. It was a very cute sight to witness.
“Maybe after dinner, I can show you some of my skills! I have gotten better with my sword, big brother!” Senjuro raved, not even noticing the way Shinjuro was staring you down, your spine stiff. Kyojuro is quick to wrap his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him to show ownership.
“I would love to see it!” Kyojuro smiled, his grip around your waist tightening due to his father. You were not fond of Shinjuro, but you did think that Kyojuro was overreacting. His father is just putting up a harsh front, right? And maybe the seductive eyes hidden behind all that fire gaze was just your imagination mixed with Kyojuro’s paranoia.
This is all a huge misunderstanding, right?
Dinner carried on, Senjuro chatted his older brother’s ear off about any and everything. While Kyojuro gave his brother his full attention, his arm remained snaked around your waist and he was sure to watch you out of the corner of his eyes. Even with the protection you had and the evilness of Kyojuro’s glare, Shinjuro’s eyes still lingered onto you. You could not help, but squirm under the intense pressure.
Kyojuro noticed your discomfort, but when he opened his mouth to speak, his little brother chimes in, “big brother! I’m finished with dinner, let’s go outside—“
Senjuro grabbed hold of Kyojuro’s hand and practically dragged him outside. He was quite amazed by how strong his brother has gotten over the years. Besides, a promise is a promise. Kyojuro always kept his word, especially to those he held close.
You have mixed emotions when it comes to Kyojuro. He was familiar to you now that you have been captured for so long. You also felt safe from the dangers the world poses. Kyojuro was sure to remind you daily that nowhere is safe. The only true safe place is with him and him only. Now, that your safety is gone, you feel vulnerable, the predator gazing right at you.
The silence was thick and still as Shinjuro examined you, drinking his Sake. You were taught not to speak unless given permission to do so and in all honesty, you did not have much to say to this man.
“What are you doing with my boy?” Shinjuro finally muttered out, catching you off guard. “W-What?” You stammered, not believing your ears. “You deaf or somethin’? I said,” Shinjuro stood up, placing his hands on the table as he narrowed his gaze, “what are you doing with my boy,” he cupped your face, “when you should be with me?”
The calloused touch sent chills skipping down your spine. Kyojuro was right this whole time, his sick father did like you and now you are all alone with him. “I-I love Kyojuro.” You mumbled out, barely above a whisper. The fire that ignited in Shinjuro’s eyes worried you.
“Lies!” He exclaimed, slamming his hands on the table. A small gasp leaves you, fear written all over you. Though you were lying about having love for Kyojuro, you were obligated to be loyal to the man. You sure as hell was not going to cheat on him with his father.
Taking another sip of his sake, Shinjuro towered over you. Pulling you up, he bent you over the table. You attempted to remove yourself from the situation, but Shinjuro was obviously much stronger. There was no way to compete with this monster.
“Please don’t do this! Kyojuro! Help!” You cried, hoping the one person you despise would be your savior. Shinjuro pushed your face into the dark wooden table. “Shut it!” The older man growled as he began lifting up your dress.
Just when you thought it was about to be hell, a familiar voice is heard from behind you, “what do you think you’re doing with my girl?” Kyojuro asked, lowly. Shinjuro was not afraid of his son, but the sword that was pressed to his neck made him nervous.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Shinjuro retorts, his voice not sounding as gruff as usual. Kyojuro let out a condescending chuckle. You were still held down so you could not witness the scene behind you, but all you know is that you are safe.
“Unhand her.” Kyojuro demanded, pressing the blade more to his father’s windpipe. Shinjuro contemplated for a second but respected his son’s wishes. You are quick to get up and give Kyojuro thankful eyes.
“If you ever touch my girl again, I will not be afraid to decapitate you right where you stand.” Kyojuro warned, putting his sword down so you can run into his arms. “Oh, Kyojuro! Thank you for coming to save me!” You beamed, snuggling your face into his muscular chest. Kyojuro placed a gentle kiss on the top of your head.
“Big brother!” Senjuro called as he entered the house, oblivious to what just occurred. Kyojuro hid his anger and as always, had a bright smile. “Go to your room, Senjuro. I have something to discuss.” He stated.
“But, we were—“ Senjuro pouted, tugging at Kyojuro’s heart strings. He walked over to his little brother, ruffling his hair. “I promise once we are done we can do whatever you want, okay?”
Senjuro smiled, hugging Kyojuro tight before running to his room and closing the door. You were nervous about what was about to go down, but nothing could prepare you for Kyojuro bending you over the table like you just were moments before. “K-Kyojuro, what are you—“
Lifting up your dress, his hand rubbed your exposed ass since he always made you wear thongs. “Teaching my father a valuable lesson on who you belong to.”
You did not even have time to protest. All you felt was his large thick cock entering your tight pussy, your moans immediately falling from your lips as they always do. All Shinjuro could do was stare in disbelief, disgust, and horror as his son fucked you in front of him.
“See this?” Kyojuro lifted your face up by your hair so your blurry vision as well as mewl expressions could be seen, “this pussy belongs to me. I’m the only man that makes her feel this good.”
You could not recall what was said as Kyojuro put all his anger and stress into your pussy. The wet sounds as well as moans echoed in the kitchen. If Shinjuro even thought about leaving the area, Kyojuro would be quick to stop him. This is what he gets for trying to invade you the way he did. Only Kyojuro claims this cunt and with each demand, “tell him who you belong to.”
“You, Kyojuro. I belong to you.” You whimper, being too cockdrunk to even realize what you were saying, but you knew the words were true. As long as Kyojuro is alive, you shall not belong to anyone else.
And even Shinjuro knows that now.

Thinking about Yandere!Kyojuro who likes to stare. Like a lot. Observing the slightest changes on your expression in fascination. Admiring the way your brows crease with concern, or how your cheeks dimple when you smile wide enough, or the way your eyes crinkle fondly at things that you like.
His heart is filled with a longing to see that fond look directed at him.
Though his piercing gaze may be unsettling, there is no malice behind it. He simply can’t tear his honeyed gaze away from your lovely visage, even from afar. He doesn’t need your acknowledgment to enjoy leering at you. In fact, sometimes he prefers it that way, to be able to see what you look like without your guard up.
Though Kyojuro’s staring problem flusters you beyond belief, making you trip over yourself when you catch his enthralled gaze trained on you. If he weren’t such a virtuous and endearing man, you might have found it creepy. But this was Kyojuro! The Flame Hashira! Your best friend! You should be honored to have the attention of someone like him, you rationalized.
You wished you had acknowledged the blaring warning signs right then…

Hello! Can I have maybe have a scenario or oneshot request of Rengoku with fem reader please! (If request still open) :D
We all know kyojuro would nicknamed his s/o "Little Flame" right? What if his s/o suddenly told him like:
"If you call me your Little Flame then..I would warm you with my Love! <3"
Not in dirty way! something sickly sweet request! What would Kyojuro react hearing what reader said to him?
Omg YES!!! I live for 'Little flame' and i feel like it's definitely cannon that he'd say this to his lover!!
Allways 💗
Tumblr media
You loved kyojuro. You love love love love him. He calls you some pet names like "my darling" "hunny bunny" "gorgeous" "pretty" "dear" "love" "stunning" "'drop dead gorgeous'" and so much more.
But as much as you loved his pet names for you, you wanted something more specifically for you. Around town you often hear people call their loved ones the same. You were debating in your head if you should ask him, but, you ended up doing so.
"Umai!" "Kyo honey?" "Umai!" "Kyo?" "Umai!" "Kyojuro!" "Um-" and that's when you lightly slapped his head to get his attention. He turned his head, his golden and red hair swishing with the turn. "Ah yes! Sorry my dear, it seems that I've been to absorbed into appreciating my meal that I haven't heard your calls of my name! What do you need, my darling!" He cheered, a nervous pit in your stomach forming.
"I need to ask you something." You mumbled, looking everywhere but his eyes. "Yes of course! What do you want me to answer! I'll answer any question you fire at me, my love!"
"I was thinking about.. the names you call me, I love them, I really do! But I was thinking something more specialised.. for me?" He didn't say anything and you glanced at his facial expression. His fierce eyes gleaming with determination, his eyes almost telling you to continue.
"So.. what about.. little flame? If you call me that.. I'll.. warm you with my love!" You confessed. You really hoped that he wouldn't think you were weird or anything. You pushed back those thoughts immediately, kyojuro is a kind, wise, loving, funny, brave, and a loving boyfriend. He would never, never, never, ever, think you were weird. But all you had to do now, is wait for his response.
He gave out his hearty and cheery laugh. "Why of course my little flame! I calling you something more specific to you is creative and smart! So, I would be honoured to call you something as meaningful as that." He announced. He opened his arms, which you engulfed him with your body as you two hugged and laughed. You didn't notice he moved his arms and poked at your sides and started tickling you. "Stop stop stop!" You screamed out gleefully. You almost cried out in laughter. But he stopped, picked you up, laid you down on the sofa and flopped on your stomach. You started petting his hair, and softly tugging out the tangles in his hair. He yawned before closing his eyes and wrapping his arms around your waist. You don't know how, but everytime you started combing his hair with your gentle fingers, he's always dazing into dreamland.
If you didn't love him as much as the world before, well, you certainly do now. And you will always love him, no matter what life might crash in your way, you know that you wont take anyone else but him.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did kyo lover! Please reblog and share this! I appreciate and love when people reblog! Not only reblog my work, but others too! Stay hydrated and eat well, I hope you have an amazing day <3 also, this isn't re-read so I'm really sorry if there's any mistakes, I don't really have time anymore to fish out any, thank you for reading!

Hi guys! Finally the month of October is upon us and I know that plenty of authors will be taking the opportunity to churn out brilliant masterpieces for Kinktober if you know what I mean ;). As for me, I was doused with sudden inspiration to write an 'isekai'(time travel-ish)/dark soulmate fic, overflowing with angst featuring our beloved Rengoku and reader. Please turn your eyes away if you're not comfortable with the reader physically hurting herself (Only happens twice with valid reasons). The fic ended up turning a bit darker than I intended to. However do enjoy and drop a message!
With love,
Articfoxxxx
Title: Tell me that you're mine
Pairing: Rengoku Kyojuro x Reader
One shot (7662 words)
Warning: Extreme Angst, physical and emotional pain, self inflicted wounds, blood, possessive/delusional Kyojuro, toxic relationships
Masterpiece blessed by @nana.yin.nana
Tumblr media
A bit of extra information for those who are not familiar with the soulmate universe: In this story, the concept of soulmates exist in the form of tattoos. The names of their other half will appear on the exact body part as their soulmates.
If there was hope before, it was now just a tiny flicker against the raging storm called fate. With the open arms of a bright-eyed young child, she reached out, her fingers extending as far as she could to grasp the dying flame before it was fully extinguished.
"I apologise (your name) but I'm afraid I can't return your feelings." The Flame Hashira's unusually low voice reverberated through the quiet atmosphere.
"I see." (Your name) replied in a cracked voice while looking down on the grassy patch under her feet. At first, it felt like a million needles prickling deeply into her skin, drawing out all the blood from her flesh. Gradually she felt her entire body growing numb to the pain and everything else suddenly didn't matter anymore.
The normally clear outlines of people passing by eventually changed to form foggy black and white shapes that dissolved into the dull background.
The light-hearted sounds of the children laughing nearby at the playground faded into nothing but a quiet stillness.
Kyojuro's ember eyes flickered with pity as he watched the (coloured) hair woman in front of him struggling to keep herself together. He shakily reached out to touch her, a weak effort to console her but she skillfully avoided him by taking a step back. She didn't need his compassion for it was because of his kindness she had confused for love. How foolish.
"Why did you treat me like a lover then?" Her chin trembled as she demanded an answer in a much louder voice. A few droplets of tears welled up and escaped her beautiful (colour) eyes as she tried to wipe them away, failing miserably while doing so.
"I sincerely apologise for leading you on." His voice was laden with guilt, the same way his responsibilities as a demon slayer weighed down heavily upon his shoulders like a pile of immovable bricks. The golden-haired swordsman looked away uncomfortably as his face turned bright red. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't aware of the girl's growing affections for him, but he just couldn't promise her anything. He didn't have time for a relationship or a family. The world, the people and the demon corps needed him more than she did. She also wasn't his to begin with.
"Leave." She whispered burying her face into her palms. "Just... leave." Her voice growing softer like a hushed whisper.
The man reluctantly left without sparing the woman another glance.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
(Your name) turned to face the dark sky as the pitter patter of rain drops gently danced around her. Instead of avoiding the rain like any other normal person, she simply closed her eyes and just let the heavy beads of rain roll down her fragile body soaking up her crimson red kimono. Drop by drop the beads of water gently caressed her face, doing little to wash away her tears and filling in the cracks of her broken heart. She had finally gotten her answer.
Ever since that day (your name) began smiling a little less, especially in front of the flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro. Whenever he was in the room, she would keep a respectful distance between them preferring the company of other quieter pillars. The woman would unfailingly place herself between the quiet Water and Snake Hashira both whose calm presence had often always greatly put her at ease.
It went without saying that everyone noticed that (Your name)'s eyes would often lose their usual focus during times when the flame Hashira's name was brought up. It then became an unofficial silent agreement between everyone to not mention about Rengoku's name in (your name)'s presence outside meetings from that day onwards. The young lady also stopped having conversions with the younger slayers, something she would often do in the past. Fortunately for her, her suddenly turned cold actions didn't deter them the slightest. If anything, it only made them seek her out even more to check on her wellbeing.
The flame pillar's rejection had left quite an impact on (your name). Unlike what she used to do in the past, she went out less and interacted only when required for example during monthly health checkups with the insect pillar. The gentle violet haired swordswoman would always find (your name) sitting in her clinic with a far-off look on her face. It was so obvious that the (colour) haired girl had been crying the night before but Kocho knew better than to ask about it.
"(Your name)?"
"Oh Kocho-san. Sorry I was just lost in thought." A strained smile found its way on the girl's face as she tried to stay focused.
The insect pillar watched her friend with a worried expression on her face while checking the girl's temperature.
'There she goes again.'
Staring into space had also become one of the (your name)'s bad habits as of late.
"(Your name) how are you feeling today?" The violet haired Hashira asked in a polite tone.
"I'm alright." (Your name) would always reply the same thing, always sounding as though she had something caught in her throat.
"Please take care of yourself."
"Thank you Kocho-san."
It did take some time for (your name) to grow accustomed to participating in monthly meetings with the Master and the other pillars but she eventually got used to it. The previous meetings held between Oyakata-sama and the 9 Hashiras which were previously a joyous occasion had now unfortunately turned into a dreaded event. (Your name) however fully understood her duty. As someone who had arrived in this era from the future, her service to humanity was to help prevent more unnecessary deaths with the knowledge that she had about this world.
She still remembered the day she first arrived in the world of 'Kimetsu no Yaiba'. It was on the day Rengoku Kyojuro was destined to die.
Flashback
The shrill sound of a train whistle caused (your name) to awake with a startled jump. The (insert age) year old girl let out a surprised gasp when she landed ungracefully on the hard brick floor of what seemed to be a bustling old train station.
'That's weird. Am I still dreaming?' She wondered aloud to herself as she watched countless passengers busily getting on and off the train compartments with their heavy luggages.
"Excuse me-" The disoriented girl was rudely cut off by what appeared to be a police officer.
"Stop thief!" The officer yelled and ran past her to chase after a disappearing shadow leaving the girl dumbstruck. She narrowed her eyes in disbelief at the ridiculous scene and decided to analyse her surroundings first before opening her mouth to ask for help.
This was definitely not 'home'. The girl deduced while taking note of the passengers' clothing and the old infrastructure of the train station. Despite having electricity, there were no electronic ticket booths and touch-screen maps that could tell her her exact location. She then decided to walk to the entrance to look for the train schedule. On her way to the entrance of the station, she couldn't help but notice multiple glowing spheres of red Japanese lanterns ominously illuminating the dark area sending feelings of unease up (your name)'s spine. She couldn't explain why she was suddenly feeling very uncomfortable. Tonight, just felt off.
Luckily for her, everyone seemed to be in too much of a hurry to pay attention to a lost child in unusual clothing. At this point, fear was beginning to seep into (Your name)'s bloodstream as the adrenaline of being sent to another world slowly subsided. What was she supposed to do now? The poor girl sunk down to the floor in despair and hugged her trembling knees.
"Miss? Are you alright?" A bright voice piped up from the darkness.
(Your name) slowly blinked her eyes open to see a figure of a man with a gentle smile on his face standing right in front of her.
He was like the sun.
His glowing sunset hues were filled with genuine concern as he extended his hand out to help the (colour) haired girl up.
"Rengoku Kyojuro! It's you! You're still alive! Thank God!" Tears began welling up in (your name)'s eyes again as she reached out to unabashedly touch the swordsman's face to make sure that she wasn't dreaming.
"Ah? Yes? Do I know you Miss?" The golden-haired man raised his eyebrows in surprise and felt his face heating up from the girl's over familiar touches. The last time a woman touched his face in such an affectionate manner was when his mother did it.
'Who is this strange girl? Her attire's quite unusual. Could she be a demon?' The flame swordsman quickly analysed the situation while calmly placing his hand on the hilt of his bright red Nichirin sword.
(Your name) suddenly realised that she might have overstepped her boundaries because the blonde-haired man looked as though he was having difficulty maintaining eye contact with her. His normally bright smile was replaced with a thin line showing his clear distrust of her.
"Sorry. I know that this might sound crazy, but you've got to trust me. A lot of people might die tonight on the Mugen Train but they're going to be ok because of you, Kamado Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke."
Not a lot of things could faze the level-headed flame Hashira but right now, the man found himself completely stunned by the gravity of your words. How in the world did you know about tonight's operation? Were you one of Muzan's demons sent to deceive him? Or were you telling the truth? For the first time in his life, Rengoku Kyojuro had no idea how to respond to the situation. He also didn't know whether he should believe the words of a suspicious stranger.
"I apologise but I'm going to need proof Miss..."
"(Your name)."
Proof. The sky was already pitch black, there was not a single ray of sun. How could she show him? How could she make him believe that she had always been on his side? Time was ticking too, (your name) could hear the train announcements calling for the Mugen train's departure.
Multiple alarm bells began ringing in her throbbing head. People's lives were at stake here, there was no time to lose. She took a desperate step towards the swordsman without a plan and watched him slowly drawing out his flame patterned sword.
He didn't believe her.
Of course not.
The young girl's face fell as she watched the remaining scene unfold. Was her favourite Hashira going to kill her? Just when she was about to give up convincing Kyojuro, her eyes immediately fell on his sword.
Right the Nichirin sword!
"I know that the Nichirin sword is made of a special ore that absorbs sunlight."
"That is common knowledge. Demons also know of it." He eyed her warily as she took another step closer to him with an unreadable expression on her face.
Whatever demon art this woman possessed wasn't going to prevent him from fulfilling his duty. The man thought resolutely to himself before cautiously unsheathing his blade. Unlike (your name), his mind was already planning out ten different scenarios on how to deal with her. This was going to be no different from any other situations in the past. He just needed to act fast and make the right judgement like usual. The flame pillar couldn't afford to endanger the lives of other civilians but never in a million years could he have predicted this.
The young woman stared back into his ember eyes with unwavering resolve and took a final step forward to firmly press the side of her (colour) neck against his sharp blade. (Your name) winced in pain for the blade felt like a long papercut against her flesh.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
The metallic smell of blood wafted into the flame pillar's nose while he stood there completely paralyzed for the first time. His eyes widened in horror as he watched the crimson red liquid trickling down his sword from the girl's fresh wound.
"Demons can regenerate quickly after being wounded right? Pretty sure I can't do that as you can see." She laughed a little while pushing more her hair back to show the Hashira her still-bleeding wound before hearing the sound of a sword dropping to the ground.
Clang.
"That was very foolish of you (your name)!" Kyojuro yelled as he shook the girl's shoulders a little harder than necessary. Ouch. She could feel his calloused fingers digging into the skin of her arms. Pretty sure that there were going to be marks tomorrow morning.
"I know but that was the only way to make you believe me. Sorry?" (Your name) smiled apologetically as she watched her favourite character pulling out a red handkerchief from his pocket to stop the bleeding on her neck. It wasn't too deep of a cut, but it was definitely going to scar.
"That aside, Rengoku-sama there are more pressing matters to deal with right now. I'm going to reveal to you exactly what is going to happen on the train." The (coloured) hair girl began in a serious tone before looking directly at the blonde-haired man.
It was at that moment a wave of unknown emotion suddenly surged up from within Kyojuro as he slowly took time to admire the female standing in front of him. She was not so powerless at all; her dazzling eyes held a determined gaze which made his heart beat even harder than it normally would.
"I can't reveal everything yet, but I promise to use what I know to guide you."
"Umu. I trust you." The three words uttered caused a blush to instantly form on (your name)'s face as she turned away to hide her face in her sweating palms. Oh, to be complimented by her idol!
"Are you alright (your name)?"
"Ah y-yes! First things first, Rengoku-sama you need to send Kaname to bring in more reinforcements AKA the other Hashiras, preferably those with no presence. Or Mitsuri and Shinobu would work too since they're both ladies."
"AKA? No presence? Kanroji and Kocho? Ladies? What do you mean and how do you know my crow's n- ah forgive me but I keep forgetting that you-" (Your name) firmly pressed a finger on the astonished swordsman's lips to stop him from wasting any more time.
"I'll explain later. Just do as I say."
"Alright."
End of flashback
"(Your name)? My dear child are you feeling alright?" A calm but kind voice lured the girl right out from her memories.
Oh right. She was now back in the present in the Ubushiyaki grand meeting room, in the middle of planning for the next ambush on Muzan's infinity castle.
"I sincerely apologise Oyakata-sama. I was just lost in thought about the past." The girl stammered while twisting the ends of her hair nervously.
"I see. My child, I still remember the day Rengoku-kun brought you to us. Do you?" The pale faced man gave (your name) a fatherly smile as he fondly ruffled the top of her head.
She nodded shyly with a little smile on her face. After successfully subduing the lower rank demon Enmu and saving the passengers of the train, (your name) was warmly welcomed into the demon corps. The flame pillar made sure to retell the events of her proficient orders to everyone while praising her bravery. Remembering him doing so didn't fail to make her face grow beetroot red in embarrassment.
Like everything in life, she initially had difficulty in gaining the trust of all the remaining 7 other Hashiras but it helped a lot since she knew about their past and their pain. However out of everyone there, Oyakata-sama's trust was the easiest one to gain. Unlike his wife Amane, the ill man didn't utter a single word or change his calm expression when (your name) brought up the secrets of the Ubushiyaki family which no one aside from his wife and children knew.
The relationship between Muzan and the Ubushiyaki family.
Oyakata-sama's curse and the faithful meeting between his wife and him.
The children and next heir of the 98th demon corps.
Once the girl was done with her story, the master coolly regarded her with a serene look on his face and waved her over to him.
(Your name) timidly approached the 97th leader of the Ubushiyaki family and braced herself before feeling the leader's fingers gently patting her hair.
"Thank you (your name). You've done very well."
The poor girl immediately burst into tears and broke down into loud sobs in front of the raven-haired man and his loving wife who was now smiling softly at her.
"It must have been very hard for you to suddenly find yourself in this world." Amane offered the girl a hug before gently stroking the crying girl's trembling body in a motherly way.
"I-I uh apologise Oyakata-sama and Amane-sama. I'll do my very best to protect everyone even if I can't wield a sword." (Your name) sniffled, her true feelings flowing out like a river.
"Do not weep child. Everyone has a role in this world just like you and I. We may not be able to fight but we can still play our parts in this war against demons.'
Events of the past flowed through the girl's muddled mind as she struggled to pay attention to the heated discussion between Sanemi and Giyuu. Three months had passed since the day her favourite pillar had rejected her feelings and it still hurt being in the same room as him.
Oyakata-sama's gentle smile softened a little when he laid his pale lilac eyes on (your name), his poor child was still in low spirits. He was deeply concerned about the girl fearing if this continued it might permanently affect her mental health. The man was no stranger to rejection and knew what it felt like because of his disease. The master glanced fondly at the lady sitting elegantly beside him. The hanging lantern shone brightly on the soulmate tattoo of his name on her neck. At that moment, Oyakata-sama felt truly at peace. Amane was the only lady who had fully accepted him for who he was, his disease, his family curse and everything. He sincerely hoped that each of his children would be given the same blessing and be taken care by their respective soulmates.
The meeting didn't take as long as it should which made (your name) feel extremely grateful. Day by day, it was growing exceedingly difficult to put on a 'normal' face. It was such a disgusting feeling coiling around her throat, knowing that everyone could tell that she had been shaking like a leaf throughout the entire meeting. She couldn't continue this any longer, especially when Rengoku Kyojuro chose to act as if the confession had never taken place. Not like her words mattered to him anymore.
Flashback
"Kyojuro! You need to believe in the new generation of slayers. Akaza has been defeated so it's time for you to take it slowly." The girl raised her voice in anger to shout at the stubborn flame pillar in front of her.
"I'm sorry (Your name)-san but I cannot do that. It is my responsibility whether I am wounded or not." The blonde-haired swordsman forced a laugh while swinging a training katana.
"I... did not come all the way here.... To watch you die needlessly again.... I watched you die five times Kyo, I don't think I can handle it again in person." The poor girl attempted to hide her tears in vain, but they betrayed her.
"(Your name)-san..." Rengoku's fiery eyes softened as he stared at her sobbing form. She suddenly looked so small and fragile compared to the day he first met her. It did tug his heartstrings to see how someone he never met before had actually cared so much for his wellbeing but he couldn't comply with what she wanted.
The flame pillar sighed in frustration. " You're asking me a Hashira, to abandon my duties? I cannot do that."
"And why not? You've done enough!"
"Do not speak as if you know everything!" Kyojuro uncharacteristically snapped while tightly gripping the wooden sword till his knuckles were deathly white.
Heat prickled across her skin as (your name) struggled to make sense what had just happened. The girl's pupils shot up in hurt at her favourite Hashira's cold words.
"..."
At that moment, it felt as though knife had pierced through (your name) still-beating heart and twisted at such an angle that she felt like dying. So that was how he viewed her.
A bother.
A burden.
In that case, there was only one thing left to do.
Without a single word, the quiet girl immediately turned away and bent down to retrieve her bamboo geta slippers.
"You're right I know nothing. I apologise Hashira-sama. I'll take my leave."
"(Your name)..."
With a polite bow, she left while leaving her feelings behind for the flame pillar at the butterfly estate.
Ever since the incident at the butterfly estate, she stubbornly refused to call Rengoku by his name ever again preferring to call him by 'Hashira-sama'. This was to protect her already vulnerable state and calling him by his title did help in setting boundaries between the both of them.
End of flashback
A stray thought wondered into (your name)'s mind one day as she was absent-mindedly staring out the window. What was the purpose of her being sent here? To suffer from a broken heart? How could the gods be so cruel. She had given up so much for humanity, putting her own life in danger numerous times and what has humanity done for her? Did she make the right choice? Choosing to let go of her distant life from before to stay with a man that she fell hard for from her favourite anime who didn't feel the same. She squeezed her eyelids shut in hopes that her tears would stop falling.
A door shuts.
Another one opens.
The world of 'Kimetsu no Yaiba' was as vast as the ocean but it was less dangerous now because of the demon corps' efforts. There were so many sights to see and people to meet. (Your name) realised that she shouldn't be wasting her time and feelings on someone who didn't feel the same about her. This wasn't like her, she wasn't this weak.
From that day onwards, (your name) decided to take the first step to heal her broken heart. She first started by getting rid of all the things that reminded her of him.
Faded letters exchanged between both of them.
The pendent he said that reminded him of her eyes.
A flame pattern kimono.
All of the little gifts he sent her and all the painful memories she had with him were carefully placed into a wooden box which she sealed with a heavy heart. A stray bead of water landed on the surface of the box with a loud 'thud'. She was a human after all.
The (colour) haired girl solemnly walked to the back of the garden and began digging into the earth with a small garden shovel. Countless thoughts ran through her mind for the last time before she delicately lowered the box to rest in the ground as if it was a coffin. (Your name) let out a final sob while praying with all her heart that her beloved sun would not suffer the same fate. Unbeknownst to her, a familiar blonde-haired man was watching her intently from behind an aged wisteria tree.
Her distressed sobs tore through his chest like a demon's claws but he kept his bottom lip sealed shut. Perhaps this was for the best. His mother Ruka had often told him romantic tales about finding one's soulmate. He fondly remembered how she would show him his father's name beautifully tattooed on her wrist and the radiant expression on her face was filled with love.
"My dear son. I hope that one day when you do meet your soulmate, make sure to always treasure and protect her."
"How will I know that she's my soulmate?"
"A tattoo of her name will appear just like how my name appeared on your father's wrist." The woman gently smiled while stroking her son's unruly hair.
"But what if my soulmate dies-" Kyojuro never got to finish his sentence because his father had just entered the room to lift his mother up into the air with a playful grin.
"Shinjiro!" Ruka chided with a deep blush forming on her face as she smacked her burly husband. With a smile on his face, Kyojuro watched his parents lovingly interact with each other.
What if my soulmate dies?
He only found out the answer to this question after the death of his beloved mother. His father's personality took a drastic change, no longer was he the loving kind father Kyojuro remembered after losing his beloved wife. His words became crueler and harsher towards him and his little brother, Senjuro. He would often berate them and spend majority of his time drinking while neglecting his duties as the flame pillar. Gone was the man that was one of the most respected flame swordsman in history, all that was left now was an empty shell of a man who has lost his one and only soulmate forever.
Kyojuro had never hated his father. In fact, he tried his best to be an understanding and optimistic child. His father was probably hurting even more than he did, something that he had yet to experience for his soulmate tattoo had yet to appear. The blonde-haired swordsman took one final glance at the sobbing girl before disappearing into the forest hoping that he had made the right decision. She was probably someone else's soulmate. He was not going to be the one to selfishly deny that right from a person.
The next day, (Your name) arrived at Oyakata-sama's residence with a resolute look on her face. She bowed respectfully to both the children who welcomed her and followed them to where the master of the house was.
"Ah my child. Welcome. How can I help you?" Oyakata-sama's Zen voice deeply rang throughout the entire room effectively calming the (your name)'s nerves.
"Oyakata-sama. I politely request for your permission to leave the corps." She bowed down respectfully to the master hoping that he would grant her request.
" My child. May I know the reason?" The raven-haired man's face remained unchanged as he smiled gently at the girl.
"I.... wish to live a normal life, fall in love normally and create a family just like you Oyakata-sama!"
"I see and why can't you do just that here my child?"
(Your name) bit her lips at the master's question while tensely gripping the ends of her kimono sleeve.
"I wish to see the world that the demon corps have worked hard to protect."
"... I see. Thank you very much for your service. Should you require any assistance, our doors will always remain open for you, my beloved child. The Ubushiyaki family and everyone owes you too much." Oyakata-sama and his family members bowed down to the surprised girl in deep gratitude.
"No please stop! Thank you so much Oyakata-sama, everyone for taking such good care of me." (Your name) frantically bowed down several times to the selfless people in front of her. She was so overwhelmed with emotions that she couldn't help letting a few sobs escape her tight mouth. The poor girl had already promised herself that she wasn't going to cry unnecessarily anymore.
The corners of Oyakata-sama's smile widened by a bit and he felt a sense of pride at (your name)'s growth. She no longer was as fragile as she used to be anymore, he looked forward to receiving letters about her future travels.
After meeting the master, (Your name) decided to quickly bid her goodbyes to the people that mattered to her before packing up her essentials for the long trip ahead. She wanted to leave as soon as possible and arrive at the next village before the sun set. Finally, the story was slowly coming to a close. In a few days, the demon corps would finally be able to settle the score between Muzan and the rest of humanity. The (colour) haired girl was positive that Tanjiro and the other young slayers were now ready for the fated confrontation. Her eyes softened a little feeling glad that she had played a part in keeping all the current Hashiras alive so far.
Kocho was the last person (your name) decided to say goodbye to since most of the Hashiras were busily preparing themselves for the final battle. Just when she was about the leave the butterfly estate for the last time, she heard a familiar voice calling out her name from behind.
"(Your name)."
"..." (Your name) bit her bottom lip anxiously as she attempted to push back the uncomfortable wave of emotions that were swirling from within her.
"Answer me...where are you going?" She must be hallucinating because it was impossible that the flame pillar's deafening voice would ever have a crack.
He called out her name again, this time his voice clearly strained but (your name) wasn't having any of it. How dare he? The girl opened her (colour) eyes and braced herself for the worst storm she had ever encountered in her life. She turned around to bravely face the man she used to harbour deep passionate feelings for with a steely look in her (colour) eyes.
"I hope that you get well soon Hashira-sama and safely return to your duties." With that she bowed politely and left. This time it was her that didn't spare Kyojuro a glance.
After leaving that fateful day, (your name) never saw the flame hashira ever again. Innumerable memories spent with the demon slayer corps grew faint as she slowly grew accustomed to her new life in a tiny village far from where she used to live.
Life had eventually become quite enjoyable for her, and she even managed to make a couple of new friends. The bonds between her new friends and her of course couldn't be compared to bonds she forged in battle with the noble slayers, but they were equally as kind. It wasn't long before romance kicked in and (your name) found herself very enamored with a very charismatic and handsome sushi chef called Takeshi who lived directly opposite her street.
It took a long time for (Your name) to finally accept the black-haired man's not too subtle advances. She had to applaud him for his determination even though she had already rejected him multiple times. It only took one date with him to make her realise how serious he was about her.
That night, Takeshi made sure to reserve a special table at his restaurant because he knew that (your name) liked Japanese cuisine. The man also did little things that didn't fail to move (your name)'s obstinate heart like helping her fold her kimono when he saw her sleeve dipping into the warm miso soup or leading her away from puddles with a protective arm.
Little things like these melted the woman's icy cold heart. She had long forgotten what it was like to be in love. After coming back from her first date, (your name) laid down on her bed staring up at the ceiling with warm feelings bubbling within her. She couldn't stop herself from blushing as she fondly recalled the number of times her fingers and Takeshi's touched.
This feeling was...nice.
While looking at her fingers, it was at this moment her face lit up in pleasant surprise when her curious eyes landed on the words, 'Sawamura Takeshi' etched in obsidian letters on her wrist causing her to experience the same fluttery feelings she used to have for someone years ago.
This man was her soulmate. She had been waiting for so long and here he was. Before the girl could rush out to look for him a repulsive feeling suddenly took hold of her, completely drowning her.
It suddenly felt so hard to breathe. (Your name) dropped on the floor shaking in disbelief as she helplessly watched the glowing red characters of 'Rengoku Kyojuro' sizzling on her skin like hot coals as the 5 letters mercilessly burnt away Takeshi's name from her (skin colour) wrist causing the poor girl to pass out from overwhelming grief.
Meanwhile it was also around this time when a certain flame Hashira was suddenly awakened from his slumber by a warm and gentle feeling which slowly engulfed his entire body just like how his mother used to. The energetic man immediately sat up to peer excitedly at the glowing letters forming on his wrist. He had been waiting all his life for this to happen and hoped to experience the same sort of feelings as his parents did in the past. The man vowed to treasure and protect this woman for the rest of his life.
Kyojuro's piercing eyes repeatedly scanned the glowing characters in pure shock before rubbing his eyes multiple times to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. The words '(Your name)' were unmistakable, it shone radiantly in a ray of iridescent light on his muscular wrist. It was at that moment ugly feelings of guilt and regret sank their deadly talons into the man's flesh, ripping him wide open, making his emotions run rampant.
He had hurt her.
He had hurt her so many times.
She was hurt because of his selfish actions.
But she was his soulmate, she would forgive him right?
"Your soulmate is the only one that will fully accept you for who you are Kyojuro." His mother words echoed through the quiet night.
"That's right," the blonde haired man muttered with a disturbed look in his eye. "She will definitely forgive me." He hastily got up and headed to where his soulmate used to stay, hoping that she had left him an address.
When Kyojuro arrived at the abandoned residence, he thought back tenderly to all the times (your name) and him spent together. Now everything made complete perfect sense, this explained why he couldn't stop himself from spending time with her.
Sure enough, he found a yellow envelope addressed to him on the table. He breathed in slowly before getting lost in his own thoughts as he took out the folded letter out of its confines.
'I'll wait for you.'
He sincerely hope that was what she had written.
These flame Hashira was of course wrong, his face immediately fell and his world dimmed when he read what you had written in a single paragraph.
To Rengoku Kyojuro, the man I used to love,
I'm thankful that we met in this life. It doesn't matter that you don't feel the same but I'm just thankful that you are alive. With all my heart, I hope that you will find happiness with your destined soulmate. You deserve to be someone's everything, the reason their heart beats and I know it can't ever be me. Thank you for being the warm engulfing ray of light in my dull life.
You kept my heart ablaze.
(Your name).
The flame pillar crumpled the letter in his bare hands feeling like the most worthless person in the world. He had hurt his soulmate. Did he even deserve her? Tears of guilt started falling fast and thick down his pointed chin as he placed his face into his palms feeling pathetic. What has he done?
'Your soulmate will surely forgive all your mistakes because she is your other flame, your other half.'
"You're right mother. She will forgive me." Kyojuro stood up with a determined glint in his eyes. First, he was going to retrieve all the things. He needed to show his soulmate proof. Proof of his love for her, this wouldn't be a difficult feat as he already knew exactly where the items were.
The crinkled secret letters exchanged between them. Each one written with care and genuine concern about his wellbeing.
The time when he bought (your name) a pendent after telling her that her eyes resembled the bright jewels twinkling in the night sky.
A flame patterned kimono specially tailored for her because he thought she looked radiant in his family's colours.
All the little gifts he gave her, all the precious memories they had with each other, all of them being dug out by the man's raw trembling hands. She was going to need at these now that they were bonded as soulmates.
Once Kyojuro was done packing away his valuable gifts, he made his way to Oyakata-sama's mansion in hopes that he could get information about your whereabouts.
(Your name) on the other hand was finally awake from her brief fainting spell. The (colour) haired woman tiredly pulled out a chair and stared out of the window, feeling more tears brimming at the corners of her eyes as she gripped her wrist a little harder than necessary. She let the tears fall, not caring to raise a hand to stop them. They splashed down creating dark splotches on her charcoal coloured kimono before slipping down to settle on the wooden floorboards of her kitchen, seeping through the cracks.
(Your name) had tried everything. Using water, using soap even resorting to using a sponge but Kyojuro's name still stubbornly remained, just like the owner. The exhausted woman quietly stared back at the name tattooed on her wrist feeling a sense of despair. She didn't want this. There was a time in the past when she once did but now, she had already moved on.
'Right. She had moved on.'
(Your name) got up with an expressionless look on her face before reaching out for a box of matches. Her nimble fingers gripping the middle of the matchstick as she pressed the head of the match hard against the striker to light up match like she had done plenty of times before in the past.
The flame on the matchstick flickered in that vulnerable way a fire does, reminding her of past self. She couldn't believe she used to find flames to be ever so beautiful. (Your name) wordlessly watched the flame dance in an almost captivating way before placing her wrist over the tiny inferno and closing her eyes.
It took some time before Kyojuro Rengoku had finally arrived at the little village where his soulmate was supposedly staying at. Normally it would have taken a person a day but, the blonde-haired man was a Hashira. It was during times like this, when he felt thankful for being born with superior abilities. Kyojuro felt his heart rate immediately pick up as soon as he thought about (your name)'s reaction to seeing him again.
He didn't know where to start. There were so many things that had happened during her absence. So many things to tell her. Muzan was finally eradicated so she must be worried about that Kamado boy and the rest, right? He on the other hand was also alive, aside from a few scars here and there but he was in still one piece.
The blonde-haired man unconsciously gripped his arm while peeking shyly at the name inscribed on his wrist. He couldn't help but admire the beautiful characters of his soulmate's name. Kyojuro briefly wondered how his name would look like on (your name)'s arm. It filled him with so much pride to know that the two of them were finally bonded for life.
'(Your name).'
The name of his soulmate.
Just when he was about to enter another street, he heard a masculine voice calling out the exact name on his wrist.
"(Your name). Please do me the honour of being my wife."
She couldn't.
She wouldn't.
She was his soulmate.
Soulmates were meant to be with each other. The flame pillar felt his mouth dry up when his eyes landed on her. (Your name) looked even more beautiful than she used to. Her hair was now longer, and it tumbled elegantly down her shoulders. Her eyes still held that same twinkle that reminded his so much of stars. The man couldn't do anything but watch the happy scene unfolding in front of him.
"You do know that I have a burnt so called soulmate mark on my wrist, right?" Kyojuro watched her giggle while showing off her wrist to the dark-haired man who was laughing cheerfully at her playful antics.
"Doesn't matter. Mine has your name on it. That's all that matters to me."
The blonde haired man watched frozen at the scene playing out in front of him painfully reminding him of his parents' loving interactions except this time he wasn't the one bringing smiles to the (hair colour) haired woman.
"Make sure you don't regret it Sawamura-san. I'm one in a million, no a bazillion!" (Your name) immediately pouted while folding her arms in a playful manner.
The sushi chef simply smirked while holding back his laughter. "I'll make sure you'll never regret it my love."
Rip.
Nothing had prepared him for this. Rengoku Kyojuro felt his heart splitting into two after hearing those words. His soulmate had just accepted a stranger's proposal.
Not his.
This was wrong.
The flame Hashira clenched his fist in anger while thinking of the next steps to take to make things right again. He was going to correct both his mistakes and (your name)'s. If he couldn't have her heart, he didn't want to live anymore.
Today turned out to be such a wonderful day for (your name). She was still feeling giddy from being proposed to earlier.
"At least, the name on Takeshi's wrist is mine." She whispered to herself completely unaware that a pair of golden eyes were watching her intensely from the corner of the room.
"Are you sure dear (your name) because I'm pretty sure this is your name tattooed across mine."
Clang.
The (colour) haired woman immediately dropped her keys on the hard floor in fear as did her poor heart. No, it couldn't be.
There in all his burning glory, Rengoku Kyojuro slid out from the shadows of the living room with a complicated look on his face.
"What's this about names when your real soulmate is right in front of you."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." (Your name) shouted while putting her wrist behind her back.
The ever-enigmatic man blinked earnestly at the woman while smiling.
"Stop trying to hide it (Your name)."
Kyojuro ran his fingers through his hair in an irritated manner, he didn't understand why his beloved was trying so hard hide her soul mate mark. Was it so shameful to be the soulmate of the flame Hashira?
"Please, just leave. You're not welcome here." Her voice was as cold as ice dripping with a sharpness that pierced his heart.
Kyojuro wasn't used to how (your name) was acting. He had originally wanted to crack his usual jokes, but he decided against it because he knew that she wouldn't laugh like she used to. The way she was acting now was beginning to get on his nerves.
Rengoku Kyojuro was normally an understanding man. Always bright, always positive and always in a good mood. All that shattered when he spotted his soulmate's wrist.
"What's this?" Kyojuro's eyes glinted dangerously as he forcefully pulled (your name)'s arm out to inspect the damage done to her soulmate tattoo. Whatever she had used to burn his name off her skin worked wonderfully. His name was completed seared off, leaving pink patches of skin behind.
"Like I said years and years and years before Hashira-sama it's NONE OF YOUR CONCERN." The (hair colour) haired woman spat out in a hateful voice and tried to pull her delicate wrist back in vain. That asshole's grip hurt.
"It is my concern! It's my name isn't it. Who did this?" The blonde man felt his patience thinning as he tapped his feet on the kitchen tile.
"I did."
"Why?"
"Because Rengoku Kyojuro is dead to me!"
"Oh?"
(Your name) had never seen Rengoku this angry before. The flame Hashira's complexion immediately darkened and he began taking a couple of menacing steps closer towards her. Before she could react, she found herself backed into the stone-cold wall of her living room, staring up at a very pissed off Rengoku Kyojuro.
"That hurt my love." (Your name) flinched when she felt swordsman lift her chin forcing her to stare back into his fiery globes.
"You hurt me first." The woman threw him the most venomous look she could muster but it didn't seem to faze him at all.
"Haha. Alright. So now that we are even, let's start over. My dear soulmate, we are going home." The Hashira placed a gentle kiss on (your name)'s knuckles and stared right into her (colour) eyes. His eyes holding a silent promise.
"You're delusional. Wait till I inform Oyakata-sama about this!"
"How cute. He already knows. Everybody knows that the name on my wrist is indeed yours." He whispered into (your name)'s ears while pressing his wrist closer to her eyes to show her proof of his love for her.
"No. That's... No."
"Fate has already decided my beloved one. So, I suggest that you stop fighting it. I won't stop loving you so please for both our sakes, tell me that you're mine." With that, Kyojuro sunk his teeth down into her scar to mark her again as his.

Run.
RUN!
Don’t stop running, even if your legs give out, get up and run again.
You chanted this desperately as you tore threw the village, dodging frightened villagers and jumping over small carts and even children. You were desperate. He wouldn’t hurt them, but there was no telling what he’d do to you if he caught you. Once you believed that he would never hurt you, as he would only treat you with the utmost gentleness and respect. He’d softly grab your hand and press a chaste kiss to the palm of it. He never kissed the top of it. You remember jokingly asking him about it, and he got quiet. Noticing the seeming drop in his mood, you tried to change the subject, but he stopped you. Looking you dead in your eyes, the seriousness in his eyes and voice made your pulse quicken. He looked down at your hand, still in his. “I’ve kissed past partners on the top of their hands,” he rubbed your palm with his thumb. “This is our thing though. This is reserved for you only, and it always will be.” You remember not really knowing how to react or what to say. He smiled at you, and you returned it. You remembered how special it made you feel, how loved.
Things were different now, and you couldn’t help but think of the word love as you turned a corner. It left a bitter taste in your mouth. Perhaps love existed, and perhaps, you experienced it with him at one point. However, that point has long passed, and it would never come back. He’s already done too much. The blood, the unusual dead look on his face, the strange glow in his eyes. That look in his eyes, that was the scariest part. You’ve had your fair share of watching people become mutilated. You’ve had your fair share of blood, and deadpan faces. Not with him, he was never like that. He was never so cold. He literally RADIATED heat. It was…. terrifying. You focused on the entrance of the village, the silhouette of a very tall man stood in the center. It was too tall to be Kyoujurou, which made your heart sing for joy. Seeing Kyoujurou would be too much for you. He’s not him, not who he was. Not who he really is.
No. You stopped that thought as soon as it popped into your mind. No, Kyoujurou was probably always like that. You just never noticed until it had come to a boiling point, and he spilled over. Shaking your head, you push for the entrance despite your screaming legs. The figure turned to look at you with surprise and you noticed it to be Tengen Uzui. A long-time friend of yours and Kyoujurou’s. You stopped dead in your tracks as his eyes fell on you. You knew you were in pretty bad shape, scratches and cuts on your hands, feet, and face from when you fell trying to climb over the wall surrounding the Flame Estate. Trying to get away from Kyoujurou.
You looked around warily, ready to run in case the fiery-headed man showed his face. Uzui covered the distance quickly and approached you with an overly concerned face. “(Y/N)? What happened to you? What’s going on?” He grabbed your hand lifting your arms to check the bruises and cuts covering them and your legs. “I-I… I don’t even k-know T-Tengen. Kyou… Kyoujurou is d-different. He did something b-bad… bad. He did something bad, Tengen,” you sobbed, struggling to breathe. He let go of your arms and pulled your face into his hands, “(Y/N), Darling, breathe. In and out.” He gently rubbed a cut on your cheek with his thumb as he looked at your face. You nodded shakily and took deep breaths. You glanced up at him with bloodshot eyes and he smiled softly at you. He nodded slowly and took your hand. “Hey, let’s get you out of here. I’ll walk you back to the Flame Estate and I’ll talk to Kyoujurou myself. I’ll give him a stern talking to for scaring you like this. Totally unflashy of him.” Your eyes widened and you dug your heels into the ground in panic. He looked back at you with a surprised and questioning glance. Your breathing had spiked up again and you were violently shaking your head. He held his hands out in front of you, “Okay… Okay, It’s okay. You can come home with me instead.” You breathed deeply just like he had instructed before and slowly nodded. Your face was glued to the ground in shame. “Hey, there’s no need to be shy or ashamed. We’re going to figure this out, Okay? Let’s get you back to my estate and then we can talk,” he lifted your head so that you were looking directly at him. “Good girl now let’s go,” he ended with a kiss on your forehead before grabbing your hand and heading out of the village.
 -
By the time the two of you had made it to his estate, the night had fallen. You glanced around quickly. You were terrified. Kyoujurou could come out of those dark woods at ANY time, and you wouldn’t know until it was too late. Tengen must’ve noticed your skittishness as he held you closer to him before looking around himself. The two of you walked onto the engawa and he turned to you. “When we get in here, I’m going to show you where the hot springs are, and we’ll get you clean.” You looked up at him and nodded, “Okay, Tengen. Thank you.” Your voice was quiet and hoarse. He smiled softly and opened the door before pushing you in slowly with his hand before looking around once more and following you.
Tengen’s wives ran into the room, excited to greet their husband. They stopped once they say you and concern flashed in their eyes before they all hurried over to you. “(Y/N), oh my goodness, what happened to you,” Hinatsuru looked you over. Makio and Suma sharing frightened expressions behind her. “I-I had a fight with Kyoujurou, a really bad fight. No, he didn’t hurt me. It’s just a difficult situation,” you smiled at them sadly. They looked at each other with an emotion you couldn’t catch. Tengen stepped forward, “Hey girls, could y’all get some food for me and (Y/N)?” All four of them shared a look before they nodded and walked away to the kitchen. He smiled at you, “Okay, (Y/N). Wait right here real quick.” Before you could retaliate, he was gone after the girls. You looked around the room nervously. Even though you knew you were safe, you were still shaken up. You jumped as Tengen suddenly appeared beside you with soap, washcloths, and towels. He smiled at you comfortingly before grabbing your hand, “Come now, Let’s get you clean.”
Your fear heightened when he led you back outside to a lit path behind his mansion heading into the woods. Your hand tightened around his and he gave yours a comforting squeeze, “You’re safe. I promise.” You nodded and the two of you continued. Eventually you came to a gate with walls. He opened the gate and led you inside. A hot spring stood in the middle of the ground lit up by bright lights. He closed the gate behind the two of you and pulled you to the edge of the hot spring, where he turned around to allow you to undress yourself. You were nervous, of course because you were still scared, but also because you were about to take a bath with Uzui, which you had never done. Your mind went dark as you imagined how Kyoujurou would react if he found you here, naked, and alone with Tengen. You shook the thought from your head and stepped into the warm water. Immediately your body relaxed, and your muscles screamed with relief. Once your entire body, up to below your shoulders, was submerged in the water, you turned to Tengen. “O-okay, you can turn around now.” He nodded and turned around while smiling at you. The two of you stood still as the water around. He smirked, “I mean, if you want to watch me undress, just say that.” You gasped as a blush fought its way to your face and you looked away, shamefully. He chuckled and undressed before climbing into the water beside you.
Smiling, he grabbed the washcloths and soap. He dipped the cloth into the water before lathering soap on it and beckoning for you to come to him. You hesitantly complied and made your way to him. He motioned for you to turn around and you did. Laying the cloth across your right shoulder, he gently scrubbed the dirt and sweat from your skin. Gliding the cloth slowly over your shoulder, he moved to the nape of your neck before moving it to your other shoulder. You sighed as he washed the dirt from your upper back before he dropped to clean the rest of your back. Turning you around, he gently washed your face, making sure to be extra soft with your cuts. His eyes moved from looking down at your cheek to make contact with yours which caused a blush to spread on your cheeks. He smiled and brought the washcloth to your neck and collar bone, cleaning them. Your breath hitched as he moved the soapy cloth to your breasts. He glanced up at you, asking for permission. You hesitated before nodding. Gently, he moved the cloth over your right breast, scrubbing softly, before doing the same for the left one. He grabbed your hand and set the cloth in your hand.
“I’ll let you do the rest,” he smiled encouragingly. You nodded and turned to wash the rest of your body while he washed his. After washing your tummy, arms, legs, and nether regions you turned back to him, ringing out the soap in the cloth. He was finishing by the time you had set the cloth aside and he did the same thing. He held his arms out and you complied, approaching him, and allowing yourself to be held by him. He rubbed your now wet hair soothingly and your nervousness disappeared. You pushed your face into his neck and smiled. The warmth of the water, his soothing motions, and the exhaustion from the day caused sleepiness to creep in your bones and weigh your eyelids down. Tengen noticed your exhaustion and chuckled, “okay, time to get out. Let’s get some food.”
 -
You, Tengen, and his wives sat crisscrossed across from each other quietly eating the meal they had prepared. Your eyes were heavy, and you kept dozing off. Hinatsuru and Tengen would nudge you followed by a soft, “Finish your food, and then we’ll all go to bed.” You’d nod and refocus on your food. Suma looked nervous, as if she wanted to say something, but Makio would shoot her a very harsh look. There was an air to the table that made you uncomfortable as if you had done something wrong. After dinner, the five of you all piled on Tengen’s enormous bed, after they insisted on you sleeping with them. Soon all five of you were sound asleep.
Opening your eyes, you cursed at the nagging feeling plaguing your bladder. You groan and try to slip from Tengen’s very tight grip. He mumbles and squeezes you tighter, putting pressure on your bladder. You wince and try once more, eventually squirming out of his grip. Crawling down to the foot of the bed, you swing your legs over and sigh. Tengen’s tired voice whispers from behind, “(Y/N), what are you doing?” You turn your head to look at him, “I really have to pee, Tengen.” He chuckled and removed the cover before standing up at walking over to you. “Okay, I’ll come with you.”
You nodded and followed him out of the room, and he showed you to the bathroom. You thanked him and entered the room before closing the door behind you. After you closed the door, you lit the lantern in the bathroom. Like lightning a hand slapped itself over your mouth and you screamed. The sound was muffled, and you struggled against the hot body behind you. You knew the heat; you knew the smell of his skin. You even knew the sound of his breathing. “If you promise not to scream, I’ll remove my hand, my love.” His voice was soft and attractive, just as it had always been. “Do you understand?” You whimpered and stayed quiet. He sighed. “Do you underSTAND?!” His voice turned aggressive as he pushed your head back harshly. You sobbed as tears fell down your face. You winced and cried as warm liquid dripped down your leg. His voice softened once more, “Oh, you poor thing.” He used his other hand to grab yours and he pushed you out of the bathroom. “(Y/N)? Oh, Kyoujurou, you’re here.” Tengen walked out from the kitchen. “You weren’t supposed to be here until the morning.”
Kyoujurou chuckled brightly, “Well, you know, I couldn’t stay away from my beautiful flame. She’s the light of my life, everything has been so dull since I let her leave. Running straight to your loving arms, Tengen.” Tears fell freely from your eyes as you stared at Tengen in disbelief and betrayal. He avoided your eyes and Kyoujurou removed his hand from your mouth. You sobbed and closed your eyes, wishing the world would just go away. Kyoujurou spun you around and pulled you in for a kiss. You struggled against his body and cried. Tengen sped over and ripped you away from the other hashira. “Kyoujurou, treat her with respect. That’s why we’re in this situation, well, that and you’re extremely messy.” He turned to you and pushed your hair behind your ear. You shut your eyes and turned your head away from him. He sighed and grabbed your hand, “It’s okay, Darling. Let’s go get you another bath.” Kyoujurou growled, “another bath? Meaning you saw her… naked?” His eyes were narrowed, and you shied from him. Tengen flashed him an angry look and wrapped his arms around her. Kyoujurou huffed and followed the two of you out to the springs.
“Okay, (Y/N), why don’t you go ahead and get those soiled clothes off?” You hesitantly nodded before stripping your clothes off and instantly dipping into the water, uncomfortable from two set of eyes following your frame. Both men followed suit and waded through the water towards you. You instinctively backed away from both men. Tengen stopped and looked at you with a guilty expression. Kyoujurou, however, did not stop and he reached his hand out in a comforting way. “Darling, My Love. Please, I’ve missed you so much. Every minute I’ve been apart from you has been like a year of agony for me. I love you so much, and I’m so sorry that I scared you. Please, just take my hand.” You stared at his hand before slowly but hesitantly laying yours in his. He brought the palm to his lips, pressing a chaste kiss to it. You whimper softly, as he pulls you into him with a sigh. The hair on your neck stood on end as he rubbed your head. You looked up at Tengen, frightened and sad. His face still held guilt and he waded over to the two of you. He kissed your swollen lips gently before leaning to whisper in your ear.
“I’m so sorry, My Darling. We both love you too much to let you go.”
Your mouth dropped open, “Tengen…. loves me?” Suddenly, realizations flashed across your mind and several things started to make sense. The looks he would give you, the smiles he would flash at you, how gentle he is, how loving he is, the pet names. It all made sense, everything you brushed off and pushed out of your mind. You looked back through your memories of the three of you together, and you saw it. The looks Tengen and Kyoujurou shared, the hushed whispers. You didn’t know how to feel. It was almost as if you had not processed any of what he said.
Tengen was staring at you with an expectant look. He closed his eyes and let out a quiet sigh before leaning away from you. “I must go, as my wives may be wondering where we are. I’ll be back later.” Panic struck your body, and you thrashed in Kyoujurou’s strong hold. “N-NO, Tengen don’t leave me here. Please, I’m begging you. Please, don’t go.” Kyoujurou’s arms gripped you tighter and you winced. “He could kill me. He could kill me.” Tengen stopped and looked down before flashing you an apologetic look. “I’m sorry, My Darling. I promise, I will be back.” Nausea welled up in your throat as he flashed a stern look at Kyoujurou, “Do NOT do anything rash, Kyoujurou. I will know, and I will do something about it, and you will NOT like it.” Kyoujurou growled softly and you whimpered, choking back bile. Tengen nodded at you and climbed out of the pool of water, leaving soon after.
“Darling… you know I won’t hurt you, right?” Kyoujurou’s voice was right in your ear, and you nodded your head in pure fear. He pulled away and held your shoulders in his hand, his grip still tight. “That’s a good girl,” his hand made its way for your face, rubbing the skin softly, “I’ve missed you more than anything before.” You kept your gaze off of his face. He moved your face gently, “Please look at me, My Love.” Slowly, you looked up at his face, shaking violently. “There she is. My beautiful flame. My entire reason for being. Without you, I lose the hope and spark of my life. Everything I am, everything I will be, everything I have done, is for you.” He moved his face to rest his forehead on yours gingerly. Your breath hitched and panic filled your mind. “He’s so close. He smells so good; His voice sends tingles down my spine. I hate him. I hate him so much. Hate him. Hate him, hate him, hate him.” Your eyes darted around, and you wished your mind would shut up. You were terrified of him, and yet, your heart still yearned for him. Your body still craved his touch. He was your first and only love. How could you ever hate him?
You cried. You cried and cried until your eyes couldn’t cry anymore. You cried until the only thing left was the hitch in your breathing and your whole being felt numb. And Kyoujurou? Well, he was simply delighted that you had stopped struggling.
It made everything easier for him.

It's taken me a while, but Yandere Tanjirou and Kyoujurou...
But it's subtle, an overtime thing. And they already have gotten what they wanted in the first place by the time you realize anything is off. Which is your love. So at that point, is it worth fighting?
And no I don't mean both Tanjirou and Kyoujirou together in one story in their own seperate things.
But aaaaaa...Not sure if I could write it. I'll leave that for the Dark content professionals for now...

CHOOSE YOUR YANDERE ●_● KNY BOYS EDITION (Part 2) ✧
PART 1 HERE
Here’s another yandere selection for y’all featuring selected pillars! A/N: Have fun!
Rating: M Warning: Psychological triggers (Okay, this one has a lot going on tho) Selected characters only ~(⊕⌢⊕)~
KYOJURO aka THE CHEERFUL DELUSIONAL
Tumblr media
Everytime you reject him (who would tho?) he would not remember about it
Kyojuro thought you liked him back when you smiled at him that very one and only time
He thought you’re just the greatest and fell in love with you before he even saw you o_o
He’s not a jealous guy and is happy just watching, protecting, supporting worshipping you
But this guy’s a bright sunshine smothering you with his endless devotion and respect
Your highness, my great Y/N are his nicknames for you
“My great Y/N is just the most awesome!” He thought to himself that when he saw you walking. Yes, you’re just walking!
Everything you do is just so brilliant, positive and amazing for him
When you broke your sword, it’s the sword’s fault!
When your sparring partner defeated you during training...well, that sparring partner has been reported missing for more than 3 weeks now
Apparently, no one ever oversteps you
Anyone who will go beyond the line with you (accdg to his judgment) will meet the unknowing fire
Petpeeve: Others “crossing their boundaries” on you Danger level: 60% Yandere song: I’m a mess by Bebe Rexha
GIYUU aka THE SILENT CAPTOR
Tumblr media
At first Giyuu is content just watching you behind the trees
But when someone tries to harm you ( a demon or a human, whatever it is ), he thought he must keep you away from danger
God knows what happened to those who put you in harm’s way but
It’s okay now. He got you in his home and you will remain there whether you like it or not
He got a thing for ropes...loves tying you up in different ways
Then he’ll sit and stare at you inch by inch
Quiet and brooding all the time
Genuinely cares for your well-being
He’s unlikely very gentle and feeds you on time
You also noticed how lonely he was
Sometimes he would place a hand on your cheek
He seemed like he just needed someone to hold him and stay with him
You felt sad at his cold, dark solitude
His eyes would always soften whenever he looks at you
Says he’ll die if he loses you (he meant it literally tho)
There are times when you’re falling in love with him
He believes he doesn’t deserve you but wants to be with you forever
You’re so caught up in his strangely sweet sadness that you agreed to be with him always
Even in death?
Pet peeve: Losing you Danger level: 80% Yandere song: Nothing without you by The Weeknd
SANEMI aka THE SAVAGE ALPHA
Tumblr media
Sanemi’s a sweet guy, he’s brave, protective and he loves dogs!
Who doesn’t love a guy who loves dogs and was loved by dogs?
Oh, did I mention? You’re one of his dogs.
When he put his hand up, you should place your paw on it
When he says bark, you should ‘woof’. Sit and you should sit
Or else he’d lock you up and you won’t get any petting
But you’re his very special puppy, unlike the others you satisfy him in way real dogs don’t
He’s just so so good at pleasing you and denying you at the same time
Disobey him and you’re gonna have it rough, he’ll use you inconsiderately, will also pull your leash aggressively
Be a good girl and he’ll cuddle you up and be extra sweet to you
Forget the cage and the collar you’ll be sleeping with him in his bed
Loves feeding you at the palm of his hand
Likes seeing that submissive expression on your face whenever he ruffs your hair
If you’ve been really good, he’ll take you out for a walk sometimes
He’s the alpha and he protects his pack especially the most special one among them.
So anyone who tries to harm you would definitely taste his claws-purifying wind
Pet peeve: When you disobey him Danger level: 50% Yandere song: Heaven by Julia Michaels

Alpha Rengoku pinning me down in a mating press and knotting me all night
Alphie, I swear you fuel my horny for an Alpha Kyoujuro all the time and I love you for it!
Tumblr media
Alpha! Kyoujuro x Omega!reader
Kyoujuro is usually so sweet to his little omega. Loving you and helping you gently through each heat cycle, but it was this particular heat cycle that drove him wild with lust. The heady scent of your cycle wafted up to his nose the moment he wanted into the room, making his blood howl and his cock heavy.
He immediately had you pinned against the nearest thing he could. He pushed your legs up to you chest, his blood hot and cock even hotter as he pulled his pants down just enough for it to spring out. The wet tip already oozing pre as he slid your underwear to the side. Kyoujuro nudged the swollen head against you entrance before thrusting inside. You held on for dear life to his shoulders as he set a deep fast pace, the base of his cock swelling slowly as his knot started to form.
You whined in his ear softly as you felt him slowly pushed it inside. He stroked your back softly as he thrusts the fat, swollen knot into your tight, little hole. He praises you for taking it all in so well as he resumes his deep, hard thrusts all night long.

“Let’s fix you up..”
Yandere! Rengoku Kyoujurou x GN! Reader
Warnings: Yandere behavior, imprisonment, creepy Kyou, sneaky Senjurou, drugging, chasing, fear, brief mention of asphyxiation. You’ve been warned.
No beta we die like men
Tumblr media
Today was just another day in the prison that you’ve been forced to endure. Trapped in the never-ending hallways of the enormous flame estate. It seems your captor either thought you were stupid or trusted his younger brother enough to keep you from leaving the house. Those options or he just knew that you weren’t going to be able to get the hell out of here.
However, you knew that it was because of his brother. His younger brother was adorable, young, and seemingly innocent, however, he was extremely loyal to his older brother. You didn’t know if he knew that what his elder brother was doing was bad, or if he just didn’t see anything wrong with it. Either way, the young kid was tiny and exceptionally quiet, and like magic, he seemed to have eyes and ears everywhere.
One time, you had passed by a door that you come to know led to a hallway closer to the entrance, and the little flame-haired boy appeared seemingly out of nowhere and cried for your help in some deeper part of the house. It wasn’t better that you felt so hazy these days. You wondered what happened to you.
You started to feel fuzzy after your last escape attempt. That was how you found out that Senjuro-Kun was a little spy for his older brother. You knew your way around this never-ending maze of a house much better then than now. Maybe it was all the isolation spent in that dark room that you’re pretty sure isn’t even a part of the house. Kyojuro welcomed you back after he locked in there with only a little food, THAT'S when the woozy air-headedness started. You didn’t really know what was going on.
Speaking of Kyojuro, he hasn’t come home yet, and you suppose he wouldn’t for a bit. It was just yesterday that he kissed you passionately and squeezed you with that large beaming smile on his face. The smile that you may have fallen for in another life, had all this mess not happened. He told you with a surprisingly gentle voice, different from his usual boisterous, bouncing-off-the-wall voice, “I will be back my lovely darling. I’ll miss you so much.” He gave you another kiss before talking to Senjuro-Kun in a hushed whisper. Then he left, heading to talk to his father, whom you’ve hardly laid your eyes on. Only once, have your existences crossed and he was drunk off his ass and could hardly care about his son, much less you. You shrugged it off and focused on what you always used to think about: escape.
Your stomach growled and you decided that you wanted to eat a snack. Usually, you would have Senjuro-kun get the snack for you because he so fervently insisted, but you couldn’t be bothered to find the little guy, albeit it would not be hard. You headed to the kitchen, one of the rooms that you had genuine free access to. Kyojuro was a man of glutton and you supposed he expected you to be of that nature too, so he granted your freedom in the kitchen minus the knives and other things that could be used in harmful ways. You shuffled through the cabinets and stopped when you found Rice crackers and pulled them out, much to your surprise and curiosity, it brought another little container out with it.
Your breath hitched slightly as your head cleared up just enough to know what the hell you were looking at. Your stomach dropped and bile rose in your throat as you eyed the drugs. Your mind snapped like a puzzle and for the first time in many days, your head felt like it had been washed out by a raging storm. Everything was all too clear. The boys were poisoning your food with this little medication to keep you nice and complacent. Your heart broke at the thought that Kyojuro would actually do this to you and you shook the thought away. Of course, he would do this. He’s fucking crazy. He took you from your peaceful life, locked you up here, and has been drugging you. You should’ve known.
A little voice down the hall brought you back to the situation at hand and you shoved both the rice crackers and the medication back in their original spot and shut the cabinet quietly before exiting out the door that lead away from the hall that the young Rengoku’s voice carried from. You dipped behind the corner of the kitchen just as the little boy came in view and he looked around confusedly before heading to your hallway.
Feigning hunger, you ran down the hall quietly before turning and walking back toward the kitchen. “Senjurou-Kun, Senjurou-Kun, where are you?” And just as you expected the little boy appeared before you with a cute smile on his face. “Yay, (Y/N)-San there you are, is there something you need?” You nodded nervously and smiled, “I'm just feeling hungry, and I know how much you like preparing snacks for me.” He smiled and nodded.
“Yes, in fact, I was looking for you so that I could give you your dinner.” He walked ahead of you and you followed closely behind, somehow ashamed that he took better care of you than you did. He lead you back to your room and for the first time, you noticed a dish of salmon daikon set daintily in his hands. The dish sent a jab of pain through your body. It reminded you of your friend, Giyuu. You considered him your friend. He used to be everything to you, the only legitimate friend you had, besides Kyojuro. But now you were probably but a ghost to him. Who knows how long you’d been in here really?
You cast the thought away and smiled at the child, “Ah, Thank you so much, Senjurou, I appreciate it.” The child handed you the bowl and bowed before leaving. “I’ll be back for the dish in about 30 minutes. I hope you enjoy it, I hope you eat it all.” Your stomach sank and you quickly dipped inside your room, shutting the shoji behind you.
Sitting the dish by your futon, you paced around it. You wondered what you were going to do with it. After finding out about the drugs, you knew you couldn’t eat them, but Senjurou would know something was up if you didn’t eat them. You look around the room, trying to find anything to slide the food into. Your heart hurt, it look so yummy and your stomach growled. Rubbing your eyes, you shook your head. No. You couldn’t eat this.
You’d eventually found a piece of fabric and a vase that you could hide the food in. You knew that it would suck to clean up, but maybe you’d be gone before it actually began to stink. You wouldn’t have to worry about it then. Slipping the food into it, you covered the top with the fabric and placed it away. You made it to your futon with the bowl and chopsticks just as a knock sounded from the entrance to your room.
“Come in.” You called while trying your best to look like you had just eaten it. The young boy walked into the room and smiled at you, “Did you enjoy all of it?” You looked up to him and nodded without hesitation, and for the first time, you’d noticed the strange glint in his eyes. He nodded quickly and it was gone and for a moment you wondered if it was ever even there. He grabbed the bowl and the chopsticks from you and nodded before leaving.
After about 15 minutes, you sighed and laid down. The discovery and your anxiety about the situation had exhausted you and without fail you fell asleep.
The next morning, Senjurou met you in their small library. You assumed it was a library-type thing, it had a large number of books in it. He explain to you with pleading eyes that he had to leave to go to the market. You felt bad that he was the one who had to do that, and you cursed his father. He pleaded for you not to leave while he was gone. You lowered your eyelids and gave him a confused expression. “Why would I leave?”
He left with a huge smile on his face after he hugged you. You credited him for his sneakiness but he was naive. Not that you were actually going to leave. But while he was gone, and you knew that he wouldn’t be gone long, you scouted the rest of the house. Not eating last night caused your head to be nearly clear as day the next morning, and suddenly navigating the house felt so much easier and eventually, you were met with the entrance. Your eyes widened as you looked at the sunshine shining in through the windows. It blinded you. You weren’t used to it.
The sun's rays fell on your skin and tears welled in your eyes as you thought about your old life. You thought about the wind and the sound of fresh water rushing and the feel of your uniform against your skin. The tears broke over your waterline and you let them fall down your face. You knew how to get out and you would stop at nothing until you felt the taste of freedom.
After your encounter with the entrance, you set back to the kitchen to get food. Your stomach growled as you prepared a small snack involving those rice crackers you found. You avoided making contact with the medicine. Putting away the rice crackers, you race to your room. You’d just have to wait until nightfall.
Silence had fallen over the flame estate as the moon rose above the hills. You were lucky to find that Kyoujurou had not come home yesterday, and you knew it was tonight or never. Making your futon nice and tidy, you roll it up and stick it into the bag you had found earlier in the kitchen. You slid open your shoji quietly and slipped out and down the hall. You knew you were already taking a risk by coming out but you had to get your stuff.
You didn’t know whether or not Kyoujurou kept your uniform and sword but you figured that if he did, he put it somewhere in his room. You’d only been in his room a couple of times. He always settled for seeing you and even sometimes sleeping in your room. When asked why he gave a loud laugh and held your face. “I simply love to be surrounded by you.”
Creeping down the hallway, you looked around the corner before ducking into the other hallway quickly and quietly. Your training as a demon slayer kinoe was rusty but you could still use some of it. You were great at being quiet considering a shinobi used to train you. You knew what he would say if he saw you now. He’d give you a bored look and point out how plain you looked now. You never got to say goodbye, having been taken before you returned from your mission with Rengoku. You wonder if Uzui tried to look for you.
Shaking your head, you approach Kyoujurou’s bedroom entrance. Looking around softly, you peel back the shoji before stepping inside and closing it. Once inside, you looked around. It was dark and it smelled of him. You scanned over the desk in the corner and over his futon that he left messily opened. Approaching his desk, you opened all the drawers and searched through them. You found nothing of yours and were about to close it when you saw an envelope labeled carefully in Kyoujurou’s scratchy handwriting. You couldn’t read it and you didn’t want to. You opened the envelope and looked through all the little pieces of paper in it. They were all the notes you’d sent him, and he had been annotating on them. Writing small phrases like, “how cute,” or “this means they love me.” Your heart hammered quickly in your chest and you closed the envelope before shoving it back in the drawer and closing it.
You continued to look through the room and stopped when you found yourself in the corner of his room, examining holes in his wall. They were fist-sized and you looked through them. There was a small room on the other side, with a window. The moon flared in through it and the small light reflected off a piece of metal. You looked closer you realized with joy that it was your sword. Backing up, you rush out of Kyoujurou’s room and close the shoji. Running up the hall quietly, you turn and quickly tried to open the shoji that leads to the small room. It wouldn’t budge and you realized it must be locked. Your stomach dropped and you grit your teeth.
No.
You weren’t going to give up now. As quietly as you could, you pushed up against the shoji before it gave way and slid open. You winced at the small noise it made and scrambled into the room. Looking around, your eyes land on your uniform and your sword. With quick work, you put your uniform on, leave your old clothes on the floor and grab your sword. Putting your sword into your belt you look around again, you see another small desk and realize that it was in front of the wall that had the holes. The first thing you noticed was a piece of paper on it. It had your handwriting on it and had been sprinkled in blood. You realized with horror that it was a note between you and Giyuu in which he had asked you if you wanted to eat lunch with him the next day. Your head hurt and you looked away. You closed your eyes and snatched the note and shoved it in your bag. You glanced over at the window and pulled up the thick paper. Looking around once more, you jump out of the window.
Your heart cried out in joy as you took off out of the yard and onto the dirt road outside the entrance gate. You sprinted down the road and towards the center of the village that the Rengoku estate was set in. Weaving through vendors and stalls, you hoped more than anything that you could reach the butterfly mansion within the morning. You didn’t know why you were going to the butterfly mansion but you thought that maybe it was because you needed a familiar scenery.
Your body recovered the more and more you ran and soon you were back up to your previous running speed. You were close to reaching the gate when your guy twisted and you slid to a stop. Your heart twisted with anxiety as you shoved yourself behind a building and looked out towards the entrance cautiously. Your heart dropped as the fluffy yellow hair of your captor came into view. He was walking with a member of the village. You heard his loud voice from where you were. “…I have someone waiting for me at home, I’d love to try some of your delicious udon but I really really miss them, and I need to get home to them as soon as possible.” Your throat closed up and you could hear their footsteps get closer and closer. You did the only thing you could think of and you climbed.
By the time you reached the balcony, Kyoujurou and the man came around the building and you flattened yourself onto the floor of it as much as you could. The two kept laughing and talking before the Hashira stopped suddenly and looked around him. You felt his eyes rake over the balcony and you swore he could hear your heartbeat. After a second, he laughed and apologized to the villager, who looked quite frightened. They were gone before you knew it.
You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding in, your heart beating irrationally. You wanted desperately to get up because you knew it wouldn’t take him too long to figure out you were gone. Your fear, however, kept you rooted to the floor of the balcony. After a few minutes, you stood up shakily and climbed the rest of the way to the roof. Standing on the roof, you peered over all the roofs before looking into the forest west. You knew the forest was your best bet. Crouching, you get ready to jump when you feel a pair of piercing eyes fall onto your body. You turn slowly to find a disheveled Kyoujurou staring at you around 3 roofs away from you. You swore up and down that they had to be able to teleport.
You could feel the heat radiating off of him, even from such a large distance and you knew he was pissed off. Keeping your eyes on him, you back up slowly before springing off the roof and landing gracefully onto the road below. With no hesitation, you raced into the woods and didn’t look behind you. You could hear his footsteps behind you as you ducked and swerved through bushes. You realized with a strike of fear that he wasn’t trying to be stealthy and was instead pursuing you straight on. Which meant that he was playing with you. Your heart knocked against your ribs as you slid under a fallen tree and continued your sprint away from him.
At this rate, you knew you would be overtaken by him as your legs began to burn. Taking a sharp turn, you drew your blade and got into formation.
“Thunder Breathing: First form: Thunderclap and Flash.”
With the move, you jerked your body forward at the speed of lightning and raced through the forest. Your precision while dodging was messy as you became scratched and scraped by twigs and limbs. Your body hurt and you became desperate to get away from the man chasing you. Your ears pricked and you could barely hear his footsteps.
You slowed down and with great precision and desperation, you slid under a thick bush and covered yourself with its leaves. You struggled to calm your breathing and you placed your hand over your mouth as the flame Hashira stepped out into your former spot. His hand held his sword and the gleam from the moonlight made your stomach curl.
He looked around slowly and put his sword away before walking to the other end of the clearing, slowly, deliberately. His voice rang out in the silence of the woods, “I know you’re here, come out, my darling.” He looked around before heading towards you. Your skin pricked as your body shook. He stopped just shy of the bush you hid under and called for you again. You eye his legs and tears began to form. Your heart beats loudly and you cursed it. He could probably hear it.
He put his hand on his hips and laughed loudly, “I guess they really aren’t in this clearing.” Your eyebrows furrowed at his odd language as he walked passed you and out of sight. You kept your hand over your mouth for a few seconds before you removed it and let out a soft sigh. Tears fell down over your cheeks as you softly cried. You begin to get up when a warm hand wraps itself around your ankle and pulls you out of the bush aggressively. A scream rips from your body as you thrash around and try to escape his grip. He laughs loudly and drags you into the open. You punch and kick at his hand and cry as you begin to panic.
He lets go of your foot before immediately pinning you down and climbing on top of you. You close your eyes and look away as tears fall freely from your eyes and sobs fall from your mouth. His hand makes its way to your cheek before wiping it slowly. “(Y/N), look at me.” You refuse and keep your face pointed away from him. He growls and grips your face with his hand and turns it toward you. Your frightened eyes meet his angry ones. He smiles at you and brushes your hair out of your face.
“Hi, my darling.” You shake your head and close your eyes. “I’m not your darling, get away from me, you fucking-“ You’re cut off by his mouth as he aggressively kisses you and pushes your head into the ground. Pulling away, he grins at you, “that’s better, isn’t it, my love?” Your eyes widen before refilling with tears and your body goes limp beneath him. He seems elated at your compliance and he stands up and picks you up bridal style. You look up at his face as he begins to walk how you came. His face held a smile but his jaw was set and you could tell he was gritting his teeth. He was pissed off and you knew something was about to happen. Oh boy, you’d find out when you got home.
The fear of the unknown kept you rooted in Kyoujurou’s arms until the gate of the estate came into view. Once you saw the brick of the walls, your heart kicked into overdrive and you began thrashing and screaming in his arms. Your eyes widened as he tightened his grip on you, so much that you whimpered from the sheer strength. Despite his grip, you wouldn’t give up regardless of the fact that you knew you were digging a deeper grave for yourself.
You thrashed and struggled more and more until his grip had become so tight you could barely breathe and you began to get lightheaded. Your mouth opened in an attempt to get more oxygen into your lungs but only pained and hoarse gasps escaped. “Kyou- k - Kyoujurou, please I- I can’t breathe.” He only looked down at you, with a small smile. Your eyelids fell over your eyes, akin to a sultry stare, a bright pink fell over your cheeks, and your lips were bruised with smeared saliva. His face broke into a blush and he kissed your lips softly. Your vision started to get blurry and the corner darkened when you were laid down gently in a small dark room. The room in which he held your stuff.
Your body shook as you desperately tried to suck air into your lungs, your eyes watering as tears spilled over your cheeks. Coughing and choking, you peer up at the man in front of you in fear. He stared down at you with a surprisingly gentle face. Slowly, he lowered himself and climbed over you until he was straddling you, similar to in the woods. His face dropped to be level with yours and his hand reached out to hold your cheek gently. He said nothing as you flinched away from his touch and looked down at him in fear. Sighing, helowered his head more until his mouth was level with the base of your neck. Taking in a deep breath, he shuddered as your smell filled his nostrils. You shook in fear.
Moving forward, Kyoujurou pressed a chaste kiss to your jugular before moving up the side of your neck with small kisses until he reached your lips in which he quickly captured with his own. His eyes fell closed and one arm held him up as his other pulled you closer to him. Pulling away, he smiled, a cold glint in his eyes. “Okay, my darling. Let’s fix you up.”
