Just saw a "What was your favorite PBS Kids show" poll but only one of them was old enough that I actually remembered it sO
Please note that this poll does NOT contain the Big Three PBS Kids Shows: Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Sesame Street, or Bill Nye the Science Guy. It also does not include Barney & Friends or Teletubbies. This is deliberate on my part. (I may make a separate poll for them later.)

Olly Murs - Heart Skips a Beat 2011
Olly Murs is an English singer, songwriter and television personality. He rose to prominence after participating in the sixth series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2009, where he finished as runner-up. "Heart Skips a Beat" was released as the lead single from his second studio album, In Case You Didn't Know (2011). In the UK, the song debuted at number one, becoming his second number-one single.
The song achieved further success topping the charts in Germany and Switzerland, until it was overtaken by Murs' 2012 single "Troublemaker". "Heart Skips a Beat" gave Murs his second nomination for "Best British Single" at the 2012 BRIT Awards.
It was released as Murs' debut single in the US in 2012. The track was remixed for the American market, removing Rizzle Kicks and including a new verse from Chiddy Bang. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #96, and managed to peak at #25 on the Pop chart.
Murs provided support for Robbie Williams on his Take the Crown Stadium Tour where he also performed a duet with him on the song "Kids" in place of Kylie Minogue.
"Heart Skips a Beat" received a total of 63,1% yes votes!

smth smth Ollie being the british driver, signing up for the italian academy, living in Italy, learning the language, basically becoming more Italian than british, becoming seen as something precious to Italians and Ferrari fans vs Kimi signing up for the British made (german founded) team, moving to England, learning English, becoming something seen as a rare and precious asset to the team and a replacement to a british driver…thinking thinking

rewatching saltburn and when ollie goes to felix's room after his (fake) "dad's death" he says "i'm not like you felix, this is all i have" when felix tells him he is in no state to take the exams. it's interesting because sure, it can stand for the exams but also for his friendship with felix.
given the fact that this happens right after oliver starts noticing felix drifting away (not inviting him to the pub and all), it seems as if oliver is literally telling him that he has no other friends except for felix, which isn't the same for him.
he can't afford to dismiss people just like he can't afford to dismiss the exams, no matter what.

No cause, it's the way Holmes and Watson were always destined to find each other in every universe, but there is not a single one where they are destined to end up together.
They are quite literally doomed by the narrative in every universe they find each other in, forced to have their future together ripped away from them by any means necessary. Whether that be death, marriage on either side, or simply the fact that it was inappropriate for the time period, the universe refuses to allow them to become any more than friends.

Olli looks at Till, noticing his emotional state
Still watching him, Olli patiently waits for Till to finish his speech
Olli moves closer to Till, touching Paul on his way and motioning for him to follow. Paul seems to understand immediately - no need for words
Olli shoots a glance at Paul while Till bows. As Till straightens back up, it's their cue to shower him with affection
Till drops his head to Paul's shoulder, squeezed in between Olli's and Paul's arms. He looks immensely relieved and grateful...
And there goes the sweetest six-men-bear-hug.

That is definitely not smart! In fact, that is dumb. (And if you're gonna do it anyway, you can be damn sure I'll be right there with you.)

I don’t think it makes sense to assume that Jason was mocking Mia’s past. At all. The thing that got jason painted as violent back in the 80s was his anger against rapists…how does that turn into mocking a victim? and that entire story was written by winick. Do we honestly think winick intended to communicate that? The same writer who made Jason’s first kill a man who was trafficking children? Who had Jason pause in his mission of madness to make sure those kids were found by the right people so they wouldn’t be in further danger?
#let’s knock on our skulls and kick our brains back into gear okay?#you can maintain that it wasn’t well executed or that the role mia played here bothers you#but you can’t say jason was mocking her for that or even seriously trying to hurt her physically#he was bsing like 90% of the story with his constant ‘we should all kill anyone who inconveniences us! speedy and GA should try to kill me#if they want to win’ like we understand that yes?#but that last part of his convo with Mia was the one serious part#he was wrong! of course he was wrong about ollie. but this was also Jason’s first time meeting ollie#it was ridiculous and unnecessary on his end and it put mia thru the emotional wringer for nothing#but that wasn’t the Intention. it was a stupid thing done by someone who never expected anything to come of it but still said what *to him*#was a way of offering advice#and as for the ppl who go ‘stop reaching abt jason being a victim and just read Mia instead’#a) there’s more to Mia’s character than her past. anyone who thinks that fits Jason’s past wouldn’t necessarily like mia bc they’re not the#same character#it’s the same way that if jason was confirmed to have been a victim of SA as a kid then all of Mia’s fans wouldn’t love him like they love#her? this is common sense. anyways stop being assholes online and just recommend characters too ppl nicely#b) more than one character can have experienced a similar form of abuse. also common sense#c) it’s not an unreasonable hc#d) it doesn’t hurt you personally. none of this killed your grandma#once again: hate whoever you like but choosing the interpretation that doesn’t make sense just to make up a#‘valid’ reason is serious loser behaviour
