Duskwight Children Tutorial

I have been asked on two separate occasions how I manged to have Duskwight skin tones on children so this is how I do it on Anamnesis!

Step 1: Fully Load and Customize your Young Wildwood character as a Carbuncle or Brio Actor. (Anam does not really like Children on Player characters.) Making any customizing or gear changes will revert the skin tone, so keep that in mind.

Step Two: Load/Pull Up an Adult Duskwight with the skin tone you want your character to be (ie your WoL in game if you want to make a child version of them).

Step Three: Left Click on the Left Box next to "Skin" in the "Extended Appearance" box above the Import/Export options.

Step Four: Copy/Write Down the RGB values listed. The color may save into the "Recent" section, but I would not rely on it. You only need to copy the whole numbers, ie 23, 46, 77.

Step Five: Paste/Type in the RGB values into your Young Wildwood actor on their Extended Appearance box.

Step Six: Export your file! Anam will save Extended Appearances in the chara file, so you can reload appearances if you're making multiple outfits.

Notes:

1. Anam does not like to load NPC/Child models onto Player Characters. You may get to have a child character in the overworld, but entering into GPose may revert it to an adult character. So Carby/Brio Actor is best.

2. You can also use this method to give, say, green skin onto a Hyur model to have a half Roegadyn half Hyur character.

3. Apparently extended appearance is a bit of a headache for the Anam mods. Try not to bug them about it. Remember, loading Young Appearances onto Carbies and Brio Actors will consistently work where as loading onto a Player will not.

4. I have no idea how to accomplish this with just Ktisis (or with another plugin at the same time), as I am much less familiar with that plugin. Luckily Anam and Ktisis play nicely with each other so you can set up appearances in Anam then pose in Ktisis.

Evolution of Forte: Fortification, if you will

First I thought he would be sort of like Glasses, quiet but candid, maybe not too extroverted but nevertheless diligent and gets work done. Just an average but decently competent guy.

Then I had the impression he would usually be chill, maybe a bit overly serious sometimes, but still straightforward and decently capable.

So I felt like he would look stoic with an average guy's dark haircut, sharp eyes, and probably bit of a permanent serious face.

Boy yo!!! What!!!? I fully did not expect him to be two block blonde and baby-faced and look like a character straight out of webtoon(!?)

Blunt he is regardless but the vibes? completely subvert my impression and expectation he's like a totally different person without hat or shades.

How much do you bet he wears his beanie and shades to look Big & Scary? cuz if I am met with a baby-faced two-block blonde headphone youth who is 200% squared up and declared ready to rumble with full lung capacity I cannot take it seriously. It's like you get stared down by somebody who emits less scary vibes than you.

My my, it's so funny pffhahaha… I don't mean it badly though, it has its charm, and Forte, DX, & Kusari-gama trio was also quite unexpected but I will talk about it next post.

After watching Good Girls series a random thought occurred to me…

I thought about one of my favourite ships Brio (Rio x Beth) and who would be their literally perfect love-child … or Love-Children…

I mean… Come on! I can’t un-see this now!

Think about it, it works almost too well… besides the obvious ‘they’re criminals’

Jonathan Groff's Broadway performance called 'thrillingly fierce ... unmissable'; a roundup of critics' reviews of 'Merrily We Roll Along'

Lancaster County native Jonathan Groff is receiving some rave reviews from major critics for his performance in the Broadway revival of the Stephen Sondheim musical, “Merrily We Roll Along,” which officially opens today, Tuesday, Oct. 10, and had its red-carpet celebration Sunday at the Hudson Theatre.

Jesse Green of the New York Times calls Groff’s performance “thrillingly fierce.”

Though Green feels the show is “underscaled” for Broadway, and has problems with the book of the show feeling “Frankensteined” with parts that are “coarsely sutured and don’t quite line up,” he gives kudos to the three leading players.

“... Radcliffe’s wit and modesty, combined with Mendez’s zing and luster, provide perfect settings for what is now (as it has never been previously) the inarguably central performance. Groff, always a compelling actor, here steps up to an unmissable one.

“With his immense charisma turned in on itself, he seems to sweat emotion: ambition, disappointment and, most frighteningly, a terrible frozen disgust,” Green adds.

“Groff ... has never been better than he is here, imbuing a tricky character with tearful sincerity and charm.” says Patrick Ryan of USA Today. “Mendez is a hilarious knockout as the acerbic Mary, bringing powerhouse vocals and aching vulnerability ... . As Charley, Radcliffe is the tender, open heart of ‘Merrily’ ... and infuses his stubborn lyricist with brio and palpable hurt.”

“Groff’s transformation-in-reverse is a perceptive journey ... from remorseful Hollywood sellout to star-struck starving artist, pressing his nose up against the window of fame and riches,” says Peter Marks of the Washington Post.

Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune, who says Mendez’s Mary character comes off as the lead character in this production, says “Groff, whose singing and energy drive the show, is ... superb: his character refuses to see plenty of stuff, but the denials clearly show on Groff’s face, and in his voice.

“Broadway never saw a better triple-act” than the three leads,” Jones says, calling the revival “gorgeous.”

In some of the reviews, British musical theater star Maria Friedman has been credited with retooling the show to resurrect it as a hit.

The show, which is now scheduled to run until March 24, played off Broadway last year.

“Groff, Mendez, and Radcliffe create a Frank, Mary, and Charley that burst with energy,” says TheaterMania’s David Gordon. “They’re giving career-best performances, and you not only buy them as friends, but palpably sense their joys and crushing disappointments.

“... Groff beautifully grounds Frank in the reality of a man who has gotten everything he wanted, only to realize that the most important things in his life have completely disappeared,” Gordon adds.

Groff, who combines the looks and charisma of a young matinee idol with tender sensitivity, is the ideal Frank — someone who everyone else can’t help but fall in love with, which is why his pals self-destruct when Frank loses his way,” writes Matt Windman of AMNY.

“... Groff is an actor who’s able to communicate hurt and humanity even through a carapace of ego and moral deficiency,” says Sara Holdren of Vulture.

“Friedman and her ensemble render the show exquisite,” Holdren adds.

“Watching the show on Broadway, I found myself concentrating less on Mendez and Radcliffe’s back-to-back screeds and drawn more to Groff, who almost singlehandedly, and in a very quiet way, makes this revival drive forward while going backward on all eight cylinders,” Robert Hofler of The Wrap writes.

“The joy of the show is watching Radcliffe, Mendez, and Groff together, because they are quite visibly having the time of their performing lives,” Tim Teeman of The Daily Beast writes.

Teeman seems to feel the Broadway version of the show raises more questions than it answers about how the three main characters’ friendship went so wrong.

He also seems to have liked Groff’s performance better in the New York Theatre Workshop version of the show off Broadway: “At NYTW, Groff crafted a career-shining role as Franklin ... on Broadway, some of the nuance of his Franklin has disappeared, and this is particularly evident in his final performance of ‘Our Time,’ which he plays to the house, as if grandstanding a solo.”

And Forbes’ Darryn King writes that Groff’s Franklin bears “the gravitational pull of a small planet. ... (T)he three stars are plainly made for one other. Their chemistry suggests decades’ worth of familiarity and backstory.”

Groff, a stage, film and TV actor who’s a Ronks native and Conestoga Valley High School alumnus, won the Outer Critics Circle award and was nominated for the Drama Desk award for his Franklin Shepard role off Broadway in 2022.

Groff is known for his previous Broadway work in “Hamilton” and “Spring Awakening,” TV performances in “Glee” and “Mindhunter,” and film roles including “Knock at the Cabin” and the Disney “Frozen” films.

He has been cast in the next full season of the long-running BBC sci-fi TV hit, "Doctor Who.”

enhypen members as classical pieces

hello!! this isnt a request but i thought it would be fun to do as i really like classical/instrumental music!! this is through shufflemancy, sorry if it is a little long compared to my other posts!! i will also give an explanation to each piece for personal interpretation.

for heeseung, i got tchaikovsky's swan lake (act 2, scene 10). if you are unfamiliar with swan lake, in summary a princess is turned into a white swan. the only way to break the spell upon her is for her to find true love which she finds in a prince. however, her evil twin, the black swan seduces the prince, leading to the death of the white swan.

jay's piece is shostakovich's festive overture!! i really like this piece and i have played it before! in an interview, shostakovich described this piece as "the state of mind of a man who has undergone the ordeals of war, who has defeated the enemies of the homeland, and now seeks to rebuild his country."

jake's piece is mozart's symphony no. 25, specifically the allegro con brio!! mozart was rather rebellious throughout his life, as he lost his childhood due to him being a renowned musical prodigy at a young age. this piece in particular was created in the classical era, where music was light and airy. this piece however was heavily emotional and has extreme dynamics!!

sunghoon also has a mozart piece! though, this one is less energetic and lively. during this part of his life, mozart's mother passed away. this largely reflects in the piece, causing it to be more somber. this sonata is the only one of mozart's to be written in the the key of e minor, causing it to be unique, even amongst his 800 or so compositions.

sunoo as gounod's ave maria!! this arrangement of the famous prayer actually uses bach's prelude no. 1, which i would say is one of the most famous classical melodies to this day! gounod incorporated this melody in his arrangement of ave maria. essentially, he used an already famous piece and managed to make something even more impactful with it.

jungwon's piece is liebesleid, or translated as "love's sorrow". this piece is originally part of a trio, with two other pieces called love's joy and lovely rosemary. this piece is very emotional as inferred by the name alone. the composer, kreisler, was not very liked during his life, though we now see him as one of the most skilled violinists of all time, most of his work was mistaken to be from other composers.

finally, for niki i got bazzini's dance of the goblins. this piece is rather infamous for its difficulty. the technique is unforgiving and as someone who has attempted this piece, i would even say it is so hard that if you are not skilled or experienced enough to play it, it hurtsd overall, the tone of this piece is very lively and energetic, michevious even!!

She just shaked her head slowly: " But I am only one voice and while the will is there, yes, the will is there furioso, my vocal chords are weak.", Senritsu hummed and her short fingers started to tap a quiet, calming melody against her leg as she tried to calm herself. "I don´t-", The worried line between the young womans big eyes had turned by now as deep as a scar and she just shaked her head: "...get passionato with murderers. Niente. Listen, yes, I know that the bar for me is so very low, I am aware of it, I assai like it, I am not going to change it, in fact I enjoy it very much. My bar is so very low it is a horrible tripping-hazard in Yorkshins sewer-system. And yet those three people are limbo dancing below it. And it is not one of those dances I would enjoy to study, research and document as a Music-Hunter." Senritsu crossed her short arms before her chest like a shield, still openly uncomfortable wrestling with herself. A few quiet moments passed. The worried line betweenher big eyes had turned as deep as a open wound.

The woman said that sentences with the enthusiasm of someone standing on a medieval marketplace with a noose around their neck and the hangman ready to let the nose turn tensed and long. SHe shuddered visibly and it was not a shudder of delight : "He did at least already wined and dined me, even if it was with a fish-dish, but by all means that would perfectly describe my amount of joy in this certaine senario. And he is a very beautiful man. Occaisonally he is even brio charming and amabile. I am very sure I will not survive that, but maybe he can take me out to a nice restaurant before he takes me out. I just hope, that there would not be a fish-dish served. I hope for at least this little mercy." Senritsu tilted her head from one side to another, thoughtfully: "Though, by all means, I doubt that expierence would be dolcissimo for me nor for him. I am not his mhmmmm...targeted audience.
