The club was in full swing. Tons of people so close together that they all moved in a provocative manner, leaving Y/N dizzy with how much sex-charged minds and lust filled his vampire senses. He felt the phantom feeling of his fangs starting to expand in his mouth as he tried desperately to control him.
His two vampire teachers promised to teach him about self-control, and the two were busy getting drunk on human blood and alcohol. It was honestly disgusting watching them act this way. He expects this kind of behavior from Damon, but Stefan? He was supposed to be the good one. The one with the moral compass, not this sexually charged predator in the mood for a quick bite.
He weaves his way through the crowd, dancers grinding all their body parts and other things against them as he rejected them and scanned the sea of faces until he found those he was seeking. Damon was at the bar, too captivated with the bar tender as he gave her a charming smile and bit his lips in a sexy way as she giggled and flushed slightly.
On the dance floor, Stefan wasn't much better. He had this short blonde in a very slutty red dress, arms wrapped around his neck as he whispered something in her ear. She giggled as he kissed her neck softly as he looked up and locked eyes with Y/N, fangs out and face twisted like a hunter. He bit down and she groaned against him as he hungrily fed.
He wasn't sure if that was an invitation or something, but he decided not to engage as his senses left him horny and hungry. Damon slipped through the shadows and appeared behind him as he smiled. "Oh, someone looks jealous." Y/N could see the smug look on his face without having to turn around as he saw Stefan lower his hands on her waist. "I'm not jealous, Damon."
"It's ok. Go ahead and be jealous. I'm sure my brother will be thrilled to know."
Y/N turned to him. "I'm not jealous, Damon!"
Damon smiled at him. "My mistake."
"Whatever. I need a drink." He melted into the crowd of people as Damon shot Stefan a look. He used the power and spoke in his brother's head. "You're an asshole you know that right?"
Stefan smirked. Mouth all bloody. "I learned that from you, brother."

Spot Conlon (Newsies) is young Kaz Brekker (Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone)
Actor: Gabriel Damon
Actor: Freddy Carter
1. Facial structure, eyes, hair, facial expressions, like the whole physical features
2. THE CANE
3. The facial expression, the demeanor
4. Both run a gang, are orphan boys, not afraid to create crime/chaos/harm for their fortune, and are known for their scheming intelligence
5. The flair for dramatics and late entry
Almost any comparison is accurate apart from the touch evasion. Name it and it’s there in the thought of Spot being young Kaz. Ugh, I cannot get over this comparison and connection!!
Like I’m sorry—but tell me that isn’t Kaz

Back in 2003, Warner Bros released an anthology called Cartoon Monsoon which allowed young filmmakers to essentially make pilot episodes shown directly to audiences with the most popular ones promised to get their own full fledged show. You can read more about it here. Unfortunately, none of the shows pitched in the anthology got picked up.
One of the pilots pitched was Zatanna and in a weird way it feels like a precursor to Zatanna's later animated appearances. Not only does she have violet hair in this short like her DCSHG counterpart, she is also a teenager fighting Klarion much like her YJ counterpart albeit no Dr Fate involved. The show also gives her a brother named Damon whom AFAIK has never appeared anywhere else. Overall it has a strong 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch' vibe which I think fits really well for Zatanna. And it was written by Paul Dini (imagine that).
Zatanna was voiced by Tara Strong with Steve Blum voicing Zatara. No other DC characters save for the Zataras and Klarion appear in this.

tiny little excerpt from my next chapter of ‘I Think I’ve Seen This Film Before’ by splatooshy on ao3.
reads as stage directions / an observation of the scene, rather than an actual narrative / novel-type of thing.
Six year-old Stefan, clad in just his nightshirt and nightcap, creeps down the hall towards Damon’s bedroom, where he opens the door with an ominous creak.
“Damon?” Little Stefan whispers, hovering in the doorway. When he receives no reply, he takes a few steps inside.
“Daaaaaay──monnnnn.” He approaches the bed, where all that can be seen of his brother is a mop of dark curls poking out from the white bedcovers. His next whisper is a harsh one, as he leans over his brother’s sleeping form.
“Damon!”
“Mmn… grhnn,” Damon mumbles as he begins to rouse. “‘T’s ‘t?”
“Damon, wake up!”
Damon moves to bury his face further into the sheets. “G’way St’fy. ‘M sl’p’n.”
Stefan doesn’t back down. “And I can’t sleep,” he hisses, “I had a scary dream. So let me in or— or…I’ll tell Father.”
“Th’s’tup’d. F’th’r w’ldn c’r.” But still, Damon shuffles around to make room for the boy.
Stefan drops the subject with a gleeful hum, and crawls right across Damon’s body onto the other side, eliciting pained grunts from the teenager. “Mng-rngh-AH—! Stefan! Gentle!” Damon chastises, but the younger boy just hums and continues to make himself comfortable, wriggling around and climbing all over his brother, who just wants to go back to sleep.
Stefan settles down quickly enough, squished against a (finally) sleeping Damon’s back, arm wrapped around him, and for a moment, all is quiet. Until—
“Argh! Stefan!” Damon hisses, trying to throw his brother off. “Keep your cold feet to yourself!”
Stefan doesn’t budge, and just hums happily. “‘M l’rn’ng to share. Sharing is caring.” He burrows his face into Damon’s neck, and the screen dims.
