Remus walked out to the forbidden forest, listening to Madam Pomfrey talk about something unimportant. He was dreading this moon for days. Sirius’s birthday was tomorrow, for god’s sake.

He stepped into the shack and waved a hasty goodbye to Madam Pomfrey, who was already rushing out of there like her life depended on it.

He sat down on the dusty floor and waited.

the next day

Remus awoke to something fluffy licking his face

“Mornin Padfoot” he grumbled out while sitting up.

The dog transformed into the birthday boy himself, Sirius Black.

“Well hello there Moony” Sirius quipped while standing up to go open a bag.

“What are you doing here Sirius?”Remus sighed.”It could have been dangerous coming here alone”.

“Ahh but I’ve got you , don’t I Moony?” Sirius pulled out two butter beers from his bag. “Was hoping we could have a little celebration today, ya know.Just us”

Remus looked up at him and then down at the butter beer, exasperated.

“That’s what I thought” Sirius smirked.

Remus just smiled at him and walked over to the closet after setting his drink down.

“Whatchu doin Moony?”Sirius asked, a confused expression on his face.

Remus pulled out a maroon box with a gold bow on it and handed it to Sirius.

“I happened to know you would pull a stunt like this, so I brought your present with me”.

Sirius grinned,and ripped the present open.

“A leather jacket!?”Sirius exclaimed!

He put it on immediately and twirled.

“There’s a note” Remus supplied from the floor, oddly interested in his butterbeer.

“Let’s see here. Dear Padfoot,happy birthday. I hope you enjoy it!You are my best friend here, and lately I’ve been feeling like we could be more.” Sirius paused over the next part.

Remus was blushing a bright red and seemed very interested in anything but Sirius.

“Ke-Keep reading”

“And I was wondering if you would like to be my boyfriend?”Sirius spun around and looked at a very embarrassed Remus.

“Of fucking course Moony, was that even a question”

Remus sighed in relief but stiffened quickly as Sirius sat down in front of him, expectantly.

Remus leaned in and asked” Is this ok?”

Instead of responding, Sirius closed the gap in between them and oh god they were kissing.

Suddenly, the door burst open and James and Peter walked in, presents in hand.

James yelled, startled about seeing them kiss, while Peter began to cry.

“IS US GETTING TOGETHER THAT BAD?”Sirius screeched at Peter.

James replied”nah, he’s just sad he lost the betting pool.”

there's more info about how the names were complied under the read more, but just to get an idea of how vile the blog is, i just want to quickly mention that the first prize offered in their pinned post, "eight hours of memi mamtera," is the song used in the viral israeli tiktok trend of kidnapping, humiliating, and torturing palestinians in the west bank.
