While Leroy didn’t like gossip, he wasn’t immune to it and he’d heard about a young boy claiming to be Tony Stark’s intern showing up randomly throughout the building. He just figured it was some random mystery, a Stark Industries cryptid if you will.

Never did he think he’d have a sighting.

“Are you Peter Parker?” Leroy questioned, narrowing his eyes at the young boy, looking for any signs of deceit.

“Oh yeah, that’s me, hi!” Possibly Fabled Intern Peter Parker reached into his pocket and pulled out a badge and lanyard, this one with his face on it and INTERN written underneath it. “Mr. Stark got me a badge so I can get nachos whenever I want.”

Tony had been out of the country for weeks on SI business, and Peter was having a hard time. He missed him, plain and simple.

Okay. Maybe not so plain and simple.

Peter had a rough time in the weeks and months that followed the final defeat of Thanos in the ruins of the Compound. Thrust back into life, only to be forced to fight for the lives of the entire universe for the second time at only sixteen-years-old, and then to be told that his last living relative died in a crash during his five year absence did wonders for his psyche.

He developed a nasty form of separation anxiety toward his mentor-turned-adoptive-father -- not that Tony fared much better himself -- and his therapist had said it was a side effect of PTSD and that it would get better over time.

OR

A small field trip fic to SI where Tony has been out of the country for a few weeks, and Peter isn't handling it well.

Oh! I love getting asks like this! There's nothing better than being able to track down some fun fics and share them with others! In this case, I KNEW I had read things like this before but I couldn't put my finger on any of them. So. I went for help. Haha. Mr. Stark is dead.

It's her fault.

Even in heaven, there is a touch of hell. Penny experiences that in one of the worst ways and doesn't know how to live with the pain and worse-how to live with the pain alone.

Penny Parker was sure that someone would die; either she would kill her family for embarrassing her, or her family would kill Flash for bullying her.

Penny had felt something sick and afraid in her stomach at the way Sam Wilson had looked at her mentor…at the way both of them had looked at her. Or maybe she’d just been imagining it. Maybe her own memories had been coloring her thoughts. Still, the next words had come almost before she’d decided to say them.

“We’ve met, actually.” Penny had told them, holding out a hand to Sam, smirking just a little. As if on autopilot, he had taken her hand, shaking it once, but not squeezing. She made up for squeezing his hand just a little too hard. “You threw me out a window.”

Penny Parker had lost all hope of feeling warm ever again.

She had failed her favorite hero, May had died in a car crash and she had been tossed around from bad foster home to slightly less bad foster homes for the past six months.

She got through each day only to lie awake in her bunk each night and wait for the next day.

That was until she met a baby calico kitten with the whole world stacked against it.

She had been a hero for over a year, maybe she could do it one last time?

While the Avengers try and fail to hunt down Spider-Man, Penny Parker hides the fact that she's a foster kid living in a group home. When Tony Stark takes her in, what will happen?

Pepper’s shocked face finally registered to Tony and he looked at her in question. Her eyes flicked between him and Penny before he still shrugged that he didn’t understand the expression.

“Spider-Man?” She said with emphasis on the last work.

“Misnomer,” Penny answered for him as she turned.

“Tony once said that you’d kill for me.”

Natasha gave her a look she couldn’t quite interpret. Then she shrugged. “I’ve killed for far worse reasons.”

In the few months after Penny’s disastrous Homecoming night, the Stark and Parker families figure out how to find common ground.

Penny hadn't really had birthdays. And especially not parties.

But, with Pepper pregnant and every moment being dedicated to the coming baby, Penny is really looking forward to this one day.

Omg I love this series so much. I love it. I'm feral for it. At first I wasn't sure, but omg. This fic had changed the direction of my life. The Bucky Barnes x Percy Jackson tag had me suspicious, but I'm so glad I read it. The character growth, the plot, amazing. Tony Stark amazing. Peter Parker, wonderful. The way Tony slowly opens up to Percy and they become brothers who would kill for each other, perfect. The slow burn between Bucky and Percy about overcoming and facing your trauma, beautiful. PLEASE READ IT!!!!! (Personally, I recommend starting with the second fic and reading the first one after it) this series is actually my favorite fic of all time.

Im currently looking for a fic about no way home where Peter goes to an alternate universe where instead of Tony snapping, his counter-spidey does and dies. Doctor Strange sends Peter to that universe because the one he is in is currently unbalance so Peter does and he takes shelter unknowingly it is his not dead mentor/dad shed where he has a bad fever and Morgan calls him shed peter! Living Proof

Another one that I somehow haven't posted about yet! There are so many!

This is an Endgame fix-it with a bucket full of grief and an absolute tsunami of eventual comfort.

After the battle, Peter is still reeling from the fact that Tony is gone when he learns that May is also gone. She died when the snap happened, but she wasn't directly snapped, so she isn't coming back.

In this story, the whole Ironfam was a lot closer pre-snap than we get to see in canon. Peter goes home with Pepper and Morgan, and they all grieve a lot, and it hurts a lot for a while.

Aziraphale is just a regular Soho bookseller who loves his shop and books and good food and wine when he’s approached by a woman claiming to be MI5, wanting to recruit him for espionage. The poor man is too trusting and gets the shock of his life when he’s approached by a charming but dangerous-looking man also claiming to be MI5. Crowley recruits Aziraphale to double cross a double crosser and Aziraphale takes to espionage like a duck to water. Danger, hijinks, and sex ensue.

Peter's got a secret. It's starting to affect his relationship with Tony. Tony vows to figure it out, and he does not like what he finds.

Peter drew in a shaky breath, feeling the burn as tears fell down his cheeks. “I know you want me to be your- your- I don’t know, but I just can’t be that for someone again, it’s so- so much, and you’re married, you have a daughter, and it’s- I’m sorry. It’s just, it’s too- and I don’t even like you like that, I- I’m sorry.”

Now he’d done it, now Mr. Stark would be looking at him with a heartbroken expression, hurt and betrayed and…

Peter looked up at the man only to see nothing but shock and confusion on his features.

“Peter… Do you think that I have… romantic feelings for you?”

“I was nine.”

This is how it starts. This is how the pure, agonizing hatred towards someone Tony’s never known, will never know, begins. This is how the rug is pulled from his feet. With three, seemingly insignificant words

Peter, one hand fisting in the wool of Tony’s sweater, keeps his eyes locked on the television screen and lets Tony do what he does best of all: shield him. He metaphorically laps at his wounds. Slowly eases back into his body, like trying on stiff new denim. Breathes, and at once feels at ease. Peter is here, on Tony’s ugly couch, with Tony, who smells like black coffee and plain Pringles and metal, and Peter is never safer than he is when they’re like this.

Skip’s out of jail and that’s a good thing.

This becomes a sort of mantra, and Peter’s almost able to believe it.

In the privacy of his mind, Ned liked to pretend he could accurately measure his best friend’s sudden switch in a mockery of the abbreviated B.S. and A.S.

Before Skip and After Skip.

There's a scary scar above Peter's hip and Tony is concerned.

"They got me a babysitter," Peter continues, forcibly tearing himself back to the present. He swallows. "His name.. his name was Skip."

He hasn’t said that name in so long that it sounds foreign on his tongue, like a language he was once fluent in but forgot.

He had never, ever expected to see Skip again, not in this lifetime at least. He’d feared it, sure, had nightmares about it, of course, but the rational part of his mind concluded that it wasn’t a very plausible scenario. Not once, never in a million years would he have expected to find that monster in the Starks’ home.

Where did you learn that?” Tony asks, voice raw.

The twiddling stops. That’s all Tony can make out from the outskirts of his line of vision. He’s not ready to lift his head from his hands yet and look at the kid.

“Um, Google?”

“Geez.” The things kids Google these days. Tony has half a mind to ask what drove Peter to search ways to stop a panic attack, but the better part of him leaves the question untouched.
