The Old World Statues is a graphic novel series I've been building for nearly ten years now. The story set in a medieval inspired world, where giant and mysterious statues mark the land. In this world magic is left to fairy tales while religion rules the land and various kingdoms. The Old-World Statues follows Edwyn, a young prince from the Somerton kingdom, who is given the ability to use magic and a mission: Destroy the Old World Statues. 

The themes and the heart of The Old-World Statues revolve around the ideas of Gnosis, or the pursuit of spiritual knowledge. This story is heavily influenced by Esoteric themes and Western Mysticism.  At its core, The Old-World Statues is a story of adventure and magic, but my goal for this story is to accomplish more than that. I want this story to be lasting and thought provoking.
