🌼 spOoked when you come home and dump a bag of chapsticks all over the couch next to him (y’know that meme w the cats the cucumbers- that.)

🌼 you explain the rules and he’s both excited and terrified to play but ofc he can’t say no to you or your kisses

🌼 he shuts his eyes and at first he thought it would help make him more relaxed, but he still bolts upright the second he feels your lips on his

🌼 “so what do you think?” “…huh?” “what flavor chapstick do you think it was?” he heard you explain the rules and understood them, but the second you kissed him, all processing power in his brain departed

🌼 “uh… c-can you kiss me again?” maybe the general rule is one kiss per turn but you can’t refuse those shiny eyes and pleading face

“Oh! Green tea!” Chirps Atsushi when you pull away.

“Yep! Okay, your turn now.”

You close your eyes as Atsushi sorts through the options. It was difficult to choose, even more difficult to muster up the courage to lean in, but he swallows his fear and cups your cheek as he kisses you.

His play-fair attitude is a welcome advantage to you since even in a game, Atsushi always makes his kisses count. No teasing, no fast-retreating pecks. If it wasn’t for the sake of the game, you’d think he was just happy for the opportunity. And he is. After all, he loved any excuse to kiss you.

“Pineapple.”

Atsushi claps his hands, “Correct!”

He’s shuts his eyes immediately after. The eager smile makes your heart melt. You fish out one of the chapsticks and grip his legs as you smush your lips against his, to the point where he has to lean back some. And maybe you feel a tiny bit bad for playing to win by flustering him, but the way he chases after your touch and reclaims it says he won’t go down without a fight.

Atsushi grins, “Birthday cake.”

“Nope.” You say, just to egg him.

“It’s birthday cake!” He insists, “You use this same chapstick yourself!”

You’re flattered that he remembers the one you keep in your backpack but you cross your arms, “Prove it.”

In truth, that same tube from your backpack is the very one you’re holding. You’d kept it in your pocket for the game. Okay, maybe it’s cheating but you really think you’ve got him when he stands up. Probably to go get your backpack and make a point, but instead, he walks in front of you and cups your face in both hands.

So much for no teasing and no fast-retreating pecks as his tongue swipes your bottom lip. Your own hands start to shake before they lock behind his neck. You barely notice that you drop the tube, but Atsushi notices and pulls away before you can pull him back.

“See? It’s the same tube.” He says, picking it up off the floor, “You had the special edition with the party hat cap.”

Lo and behold, the cap is indeed a party hat. You sigh in defeat and smile.

“You’ve figured me out, detective. Next thing you’re gonna realize is that I just made up this game to kiss you a bunch.”

Atsushi blinks as the realization sets in. Despite his prior boldness, he’s now pink ear to ear and suddenly he can’t make eye contact with you. He’s so busy being flustered and stammering out incoherent sentences that he doesn’t even remember it’s his turn.

You take it for him, “Honeydew.” You say after stunning him to silence.

He thinks about it for a moment, then crosses his arms and replies, “P-Prove it. Again…”

Dazai Osamu

🌼 it was his idea to play sdjhgvfhdkjlsd comes up with the idea late one night then uses Kunikida’s credit card to buy a whole bunch of weird flavors online with same day delivery shipping

🌼 he goes breaks in to your apartment and finds you taking a nap under the kotatsu so he does what any normal boyfriend would do

🌼 dump all the chapsticks on your face

🌼 “you’re so beautiful when you wake up like that” he says all dreamily as you sit up thinking you’re about to fight for your life

🌼 does not explain the rules, jus lays you back down and kisses you as a sort of apology, tho he feigns offense when you push him away because - -

“Why do you taste like that?”

“Taste like what?”

“Like…” You rack your brain for the bizarre association you were thinking of, “Ginger?”

“It could very well be because I have this tube of ginger-scented chapstick. But it might take a better genius to say for sure.”

You roll your eyes and laugh at the way he models it like a beauty guru, “Okay- go find one then. Maybe I’ll like his kisses better.”

Dazai throws his arms up in dismay, “Oh! Oh!! I was attacked- IN MY OWN HOME. You’re ruthless, belladonna.”

“Yeah, yeah, close your eyes already. Let’s play.”

He closes his eyes and even lies down as you put on another chapstick flavor. So spoiled, you think to yourself as he waits patiently. Up until the last moment anyway, in which he puckers up and makes kissy noises to annoy you. You plug his nose in response, then kiss him.

It’s something like a snort and a cough as Dazai sputters sitting up and shakes his head, “I can’t say I expected a kiss from my princess to feel like that…”

“It’s payback for dumping chapsticks on me and then kissing me with ginger. I’ll do it properly next time.”

“I’ll hold you to that. Anyway, red bean paste.” He licks his lips and smirks.

“That’s… right. Did you huff all these before you came home?”

“I have better things to do with my time than huff chapstick, belladonna.”

“Do you though? I feel like you’d do it jus to avoid work at the Agency.”

“That’s a great idea! I love your mind.”

You sigh and close your eyes, almost resisting when Dazai lays you down. He’s very insistent on this sleeping princess dynamic. One hand cradles your face, the other sneaks under your shirt just to startle you as you gasp into his mouth. His tongue flicks against yours, then he pulls back and sits pretty like he’s innocent.

The look on your face is both flustered and utterly confused because why do chapstick flavors like this exist? You stare at him, bamboozled. He grins back.

“Mi… Miso soup?”

“Yep! You’re so smart, [ 🌼 ]!”

“They’re all… oddly specific. And pretty accurate.”

“That’s what makes it fun!”

“It’d be more fun if you just kissed me normally.” You pout.

Dazai laughs and pulls you into his lap, “You really think so?”

“Well, I did like the miso soup better than the ginger.” You admit, pecking the corner of his mouth, “Made me hungry.”

“We can go get some after this then.” Dazai replies before gobbling up more kisses from you until you’re laughing, out of breath, and trying to push him off but he doesn’t let you go.

Edogawa Ranpo

🌼 no fun cases to solve today. just boring ol’ “murder mysteries” and haunted subway lines

🌼 it’s a hard life being a genius, but Ranpo accepts the burden with you and his snacks by his side

🌼 except you hadn’t swung by the Agency just yet- long line at your favorite cafe? delayed train??

🌼 you stopped by the convenience store to buy chapsticks for a silly game that he’d later indulge you in???

🌼 well, the answer was obvious

“Ranpo!” You announce with a bag behind your back.

“Okay, let’s play.”

“Huh? Play what?”

“The chapstick game that you found online. You’re probably gonna pick your second favorite flavor first.”

“And that is?”

“Oreo.”

Kyouka, who was walking by, looked deep in thought, “I didn’t even know there was Oreo chapstick. Do you think they make a tofu flavored one?”

Ranpo gestured somewhere vaguely out the window, “Oddity store on Third Avenue.”

Kyouka was out the door in a flash.

You giggled and sat on the desk, “Is that your good and selfless deed for the day?”

“Yep.”

“You’re sucha sweetheart, Ranpo.”

He fakes a yawn and moves his cap down over his face. You know it’s to hide the happy pink blush on his cheeks. He’ll be back in a second.

You place the chapstick bag on your right, and some pastries on the left. Chocolate almond croissants- one of Ranpo’s many favorites.

He reached out to grab one but you playfully smack his hand, “Those are for winners.”

He peeks out from under his cap and pouts, “I’m a winner. I won you over, didn’t I?”

“That- that has little to do with chocolate croissants or the chapstick game.”

“I like you better than both of those things.”

“Wow, I’m… actually really flattered.”

“You should be. I’m gonna win and eat them all for myself.”

“Game on.”

Ranpo decides to go first and you close your eyes while he rummages through the bag. True to his deduction, there is in fact, an Oreo chapstick among the options. Almost all of them are junk foods actually- some of his favorites and some of yours.

It’s a little nerve-wracking for you to be where everyone in the Agency can see him kiss your lips. You’re pretty sure you can hear Yosano and Naomi giggling. It makes your back feel warm since you can’t see them.

His kiss is sweet. They always are. You can taste the glaze from the donuts he probably had earlier.

“Donuts?” You guess.

Ranpo laughed, “I thought you were guessing chapsticks, not what snacks I ate.”

“Oh, right.” You lean back in and give him a quick peck, “Um- cherry cola.”

He glances off at seemingly nothing then rubs the back of his head, “You’re right. Your turn.”

You shuffle the bag in hopes that randomizing it will up your chances. You know it won’t. But the suspense and waiting makes Ranpo fussy. It’s cute.

“Are you gonna shuffle the bag til the end of time?” He whines, spinning in his chair as with his hands over his eyes, “You’re gonna kiss me with the ramune flavor anyway.”

You giggle, “Well maybe I won’t now because you already guessed it.”

His hands come off his face and he looks at you like you threw all his snacks out the window, “F-Fine! I’ll just drink my ramune then. I didn’t want it from your kiss anyway!”

He uncaps the bottle and downs it like a temperamental child. If he was wearing his old school uniform and the ramune was an apple juice box, it would be pretty convincing. Good-natured chortles fill the office, although Atsushi is rather concerned when Ranpo holds up the bottle like he’ll attack someone with it.

All his hot air deflates once you peck the corner of his mouth, “Do you wanna skip straight to the croissants?” You ask, “I know I won’t win against Super Deduction.”

“Okay.” He replies, placated, “You still have to kiss me though. I want each flavor.”

“Okay.” You chirp.

He opens the pastry box and makes quick work of them while you arrange the chapsticks in an order you think he’ll like. At this point, the game will be more of Ranpo judging the flavors than guessing them, but you don’t mind.

“You can have this as a consolation prize for losing.” Ranpo later says, pushing the last croissant towards you and turning away in his chair, “I don’t want you feeling bad about yourself.”

You grin, “How could I feel bad when I have the best boyfriend in the world?”

Ranpo tenses up, huddling his legs to his chest, “W-Well… obviously you can’t. That’s the whole point. I won’t let you have bad days.”

Tsukishima Kei

☁️You'd both be inside his room, just reading some books when the thunderstorm rolls around and you yelp.

☁️Tsukki thinks you're joking at first. No one is that afraid of thunder.

☁️He might poke some fun at your acting skills to lighten up the mood because the thunders are a little... unsettling.

☁️But when he realizes you're actually on the verge of tears, he'll regret making fun of you.

☁️Watch as this guy awkwardly tries to be effective without showing his regret.

☁️He'll put an arm around your shoulders and bring your face closer to his chest while using his free hand to pat your head.

☁️The reason why he does this is that he doesn't want you to notice he's blushing.

☁️Awkward uplifting words.

☁️"Hey, it's okay... it's going away soon."

☁️Well, he was wrong, and the thunderstorm persists.

☁️But Tsukki uses his big brain energy and gets his headphones, placing them on your ears while blasting some of your favorite music.

☁️It blocks away from the thunder almost immediately.

☁️He'll keep holding you close until the thunderstorm passes or you fall asleep.

☁️Either way, he'll keep pressing light kisses on your head and patting your hair.

☁️It was rare for him to be this affectionate, so you'd enjoy it while it lasted.

Kuroo Tetsurou

☁️You and Kuroo were having a movie date night when you heard a sound that sounded more like an explosion than anything else, causing you to cover your head with your hands.

☁️Kuroo wasn't too surprised by the loud sounds since the flash that came before it was a dead giveaway.

☁️Before he knew it was raining heavily, and the thunder kept getting louder.

☁️"Well, looks like someone is sleeping over!" He'd hum in excitement, but his mischievous smirk would fade away when he started feeling you shivering next to him.

☁️That's when he realizes you're afraid of the thunder.

☁️"Now I really can't leave you alone." He'd say, opening his arms. "Come here, I'll protect you, babe."

☁️He'd take you in his arms and snuggle with you as best as he could, whispering sweet nothing's into your ear to distract you from the thunders.

☁️And throw in some funny pick up lines.

☁️"Are you a carbon sample? Because I want to date you."

☁️"We're already dating Kuroo."

☁️"Forget hydrogen, you're my number one element."

☁️"Kuroo..."

☁️"I must be a diamond because you gave me a hardness of 10."

☁️"KUROO!"

☁️Needless to say, by the end of the night, you don't even pay attention to the thunderstorm anymore.

Hinata Shoyo

☁️Oh no.

☁️This was doomed from the beginning.

☁️You and Hinata would be in your room since he came over to study with you.

☁️You'd be writing your Literature paper when suddenly a flash lightens up the room, followed by a rumble of loud thunder.

☁️Not only you freaked out, but Hinata did as well.

☁️Both of you would run into each other's arms, but while Hinata was only caught by surprise, you were actually terrified of the thunder.

☁️He didn't like the loud noise at all, and it bothered him a lot, but he wouldn't say he was scared.

☁️He'll try to be brave and go fetch some of your favorite snacks downstairs. Maybe that'd cheer you up.

☁️"W.wait here! Your knight in shiny armor will make things right!"

☁️But you didn't want to be alone, so you went down with him, still thinking the snacks were a good idea.

☁️And if you were with him, you'd be okay, right?

☁️Wrong.

☁️Both of you just ended up sprinting downstairs while screaming whenever there was thunder, but still, hand in hand.

☁️Hinata said he'd protect you, and so he did.

☁️Both of you were successful in your mission and went back inside the room with some snacks.

☁️Homework was ditched, and you spent the rest of the evening in each other's arms complaining about the thunder and eating.

☁️But still, it didn't seem as scary with him holding your hand.

☁️Because people are shipping you with no other than Deku.

☁️With so many extras around, why did they have to ship you with Deku? Why not him? You were already dating anyway.

☁️But they didn't know that because you wanted to remain a secret, at least for now.

☁️He did understand and respect your decision but hated the idea of people thinking you'd look cute with Deku.

☁️He'll be very grumpy, so you'll have to give him extra attention when you're both alone.

☁️Like some kisses and hugs, even if he pushes you away at first, Bakugou doesn't mean it and will open up to it sooner than you expect.

☁️“I love you Katsu!” “Well, people think you like Deku so maybe you do.”

☁️Reassure him that you love him and only him, and he'll get in confidence back.

Izuku Midoriya

☁️You don't realize he's upset because he'll be all smiles when you're around people.

☁️But when you're alone, he'll ask you if you really like him, almost in tears.

☁️When you ask why he's asking such a thing, he'll explain it to you right then and there.

☁️"The rest of the class thinks you'd make a good couple with Todoroki, and I just thought that maybe... you'd-" "I'd be happier with him?" "...Yeah."

☁️You'll have to explain to him repeatedly how you love him, and only him, and the only reason your classmates say that it's because they don't know you're already dating.

☁️It'll take a while to convince him, and he'll only believe you after you fall asleep together while you list the various reasons why you love him.

☁️He'll ask how long you'd have to hit it because he really just wants people to know he's dating the most beautiful person ever??

☁️Please take it into consideration, the boy is suffering.

Todoroki Shouto

☁️Todoroki doesn't even try to mask his expression of disgust when Denki mentions you and Bakugou would make a good couple.

☁️This guy is sassy as hell. We all know it, so people might notice just how much he disagrees with it.

☁️Well, he disagrees so much he'll spend the day with the same expression of pure disgust on his face until you go back to your dorms.

☁️He doesn't even have to tell you he's upset because it's written all over his handsome face.

☁️He only lets it go when you say how much you love him and how you wouldn't make a good couple with Bakugou.

☁️He might ask you again why you don't want to tell people you're dating and thinks it's because you're ashamed of him.

☁️He'll believe if you deny it but asks you to reconsider the idea.

☁️If you decide it's time to let, people know he'll walk into class the next morning and just tell Denki how you'd never made a good couple with Bakugou because you two are already a perfect couple.

☁️ Synopsis: Being Bakugou’s ex was full of surprises, one of them being the 3 AM drunk dials on a Friday night.

☁️ Pairing: Pro!Bakugou Katsuki x Reader

☁️ Note: i love breakup scenarios, especially when they hint for something else 👀

A grunt left your throat as your phone started buzzing once again, forcing you to pause the romantic movie you were watching just seconds ago.

It was a Friday night. Usually, you'd be out with friends, getting a little intoxicated after a long week fulfilling your hero duties, but today was different. Today you were in one of your moods.

You were currently inside your apartment, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket with a hot cup of cocoa by your side, even it wasn't that cold. You just wanted to feel some kind of warmth since you were obviously craving human affection. You just wanted to stay in tonight, even if your friends were blowing up your phone for you to join their "no-guys-allowed girl's night." It was probably Mina, the one calling for the tenth time, trying to convince you to put on your most sexy outfit and join them in the nearest club. You already told her before you were staying in, but your best friend knew exactly why you were like this, and she hated the reason behind it.

A sigh of irritation escaped your lips as you reached for the phone, ready to tell Mina you were not in the mood, but the air was sucked right out of your lungs when you read the caller I.D. It wasn't Mina, but the reason why you were in such a mood in the first place.

Bakugou fucking Katsuki.

You and Bakugou used to be a thing back in U.A. and lasted a long while until your eventual breakup two months ago after nearly three years of dating.

It was his idea, of course. You loved him too much to end things off because you had to focus on your job. You'd prefer to work through things together and help each other out once the challenge because too hard for only one person to bear. You'd be there to help him get out of bed every morning, to help him with his workout schedule... with everything. But Bakugou thought differently. He wanted to do it alone. He didn't need anyone's help to achieve his goals, even if that someone was you.

But that didn't stop him from calling you whenever he had too much to drink.

Your finger hovered over the green button as you wondered if you should just accept the call, and you decided on that just seconds before it would go off.

"Hello?" Your tone was stern. You wanted to make it known you weren't in the mood for his antics. "Do you know that time it is?"

The thing is, you accepted the breakup. If Bakugou didn't want you around getting in his way "ruining" his dreams, as he said himself, then it was fine. As soon as he confirmed he didn't want to be with you anymore, you removed yourself from his life. Yes, you loved him, but you loved yourself as well, and you wouldn't bed for his attention. That's something you promised yourself.

But Bakugou? Not so much.

"At least you answered this time." His voice was slurred, as it always was whenever he attempted to communicate with you, and you could almost smell the breath of whiskey mixed with his caramel scent. "I guess it's my lucky night."

Even if he ended things, it hurt his ego when you just accepted it so quickly. You didn't cry more than a few tears when he left your shared apartment, you didn't try to call him when you got drunk, and when he asked your friends in common how you were doing, he hated that they responded you were doing so well and didn't even mention him.

You didn't know but, deep inside, Bakugou wanted you to run after him. He knew the impact he had on your life and thought you'd try a little harder than that. So, needless to say, this breakup was hard on him just as much it was hard on you.

"Very funny Bakugou, you're drunk." You deadpanned, taking a sip of your hot cocoa. You heard a grunt on the other side of the line and a bitter smile made it's way up to your features. "Give your phone to Kirishima. That'd save you some embarrassment and save me some patience."

"Why'd you act like you don't love me anymore?"

You almost choked on your drink when you heard those words through your speaker.

Typical Katsuki, making your blood boil with his words.

He wasn't lying, though. It was true you still loved Bakugou, you went through a lot together, and he was your first love and actually boyfriend. You were both a big part of each other's lives.

That's precisely why you were so angry he broke up with you over something you could have worked through together.

"Why'd you only call me when you're drunk?" You retorted back, not caring about being the bigger person, not this time.

Silence filled the other side of the line, and both of you stood like that for a long time before you decided to break the silence.

"Look, we're going nowhere with this con-" "Why did you let me go so easily like that? Didn't I matter to you?"

Oh yeah, you thought your blood was boiling before, now? You were sure you'd be getting a fever after this conversation.

"You mattered, you really fucking mattered. But you were the one leaving me because you wanted to focus on your hero job alone. I tried, okay? I really tried to help you out, but after you told me I was in your way, what did you want me to do? Run after you? Wait for you? Beg for you to not leave me?" The words spilled from your mouth before you could even grab them. It's been a while since you ranted like this to someone, and you'd never think you'd be saying this to Bakugou's face, but fate is a funny thing. "And you still matter... But I don't matter to you."

"Don't say that."

"I just did."

"That's not true, and you know it."

"Then tell me, why'd you only call me when you're like this? Drunk and out of your mind." Tears wanted to fall from your eyes, but you didn't let them, not after crying for days when he first left.

"Because this is the only way I can be honest with myself." He said, his tone getting louder, matching your own. You didn't even realize you were screaming until he did the same, and honestly, you were impressed Bakugou wasn't the first one to start the screaming competition these conversations ofter lead to.

"Bullshit..." The words came out slurred, the lump in your throat getting painful and making it harder to speak. You hated it since you knew Bakuogu knew you well enough to pick up on it.

"What if I come over so we can talk?"

"I have to be up early tomorrow-"

"Bullshit." He said, mimicking the way you cursed at him just moments ago. "Tomorrow's Saturday. You don't go out on Saturdays." He stated matter-of-factly. Damn him and his excellent memory.

"Still Bakugou-"

"It's weird when you call me that."

"Well, it's still your name." You replied. "As I was saying... I'm not sure if I want to see you."

"Well, you didn't say you didn't want to see me. That's a start." You just knew he was smirking on the other side of the line and mentally slapped yourself for the poor choice of words.

"Ugh, whatever. You can come, but you're not coming in. We'll talk outside." You finished, not giving him more space to argue.

"I used to live there, you know?" He asked, and you could pick up the sound of his keys on the other side. He was already walking out of wherever he was.

"Used." You stated. "Just... come fast, I want to go to bed."

"I'll be there in ten."

You were already regretting such a decision, but hey, maybe you'll get some closure. Perhaps it wasn't such a bad idea.

Oh, who were you kidding? This was a bad idea. Meeting up with an ex at three in the morning wasn't the brightest decision, but maybe you were in the mood for a bad idea.
