New Bounties (Law X Reader)

Plot: After Wano you and the heart pirates get their new bounties some are higher than others but your shocked, you've never had a wanted poster before and now suddenly you have one.

Warning: Spoilers for Wano, bad language and Fluff.

Law X reader, established relationship, Reader is Female. Thank you to @being-worthy for the idea.

Even though you've been a member of the heart pirates for years you've never had a wanted poster but it never really bothered you, the jobs you were picked for where always behind the scenes mainly because you were good at it. Sneaking around and blending in was something that you could easily do, you need to pretend to be someone? Just give a photo, their personality and job description. You need to break into a military base? You'll be in and out within an hour depending on the size. So it wasn't hard for you to go unnoticed by the world government but Wano was a different story, you managed to blend it pretty well until the big battle started then you got found out quite quickly. Luckily your main job was over and done with so you helped Law and Kid take down big Mom, it was the hardest battle you have ever fought and you almost lost an arm to the giant woman but with your boyfriends skills your arm was almost back to normal. Parting with the straw hats was hard for everyone well except Law, the crew have grown quite close to the straw hats and now the alliance is over most of you hope you'll never see them again just so your not forced to fight them. Your strong but you know there's no way you would win against the other crew. Kids crew however, most of the crew where more than happy to get away form the hot headed captain but you became quite close with Killer who seemed more down to earth than Kid.

Some of the crew where still kinda mad at their captain after yesterday, instead of taking the route Law chose and sticking to the plan, Kid teased your Captain and Luffy to a breaking point making the three ships go down one of the worse routes and down a waterfall. You weren't the type to yell but after almost getting flung off the ship you gave Law a piece of your mind, the poor man had no idea what to do as you stood in front of him and the crew yelling at him for the first time, your face red with anger and heart pounding in your ears. The crew were kinda scared of you afterwards mainly because of Law's shocked face and head bowed in defeat after you finished yelling at him and walked away with a enraged aura. You stayed in Bepo's room last night deciding to give your boyfriend the cold shoulder for the night but now you were on the sofa drinking some hot tea with Lemon and honey for your now sore throat. All the yelling really hurt your throat but at least you could still talk normally "Y/n" Bepo calls out running into the sitting room while holding a piece of paper in his hands soon followed by most of the crew some cheering with big smiles while others sighed in defeat flopping onto the sofa next to you. The two that really caught your attention was Penguin and Shachi linking arms and dancing around with wanted posters in their hands "Oh! You guys got new bounties" With a smile you place a book mark in your book and set it on the table before standing up and being hugged by the fluffy white bear.

You pull your face out of his fur so you don't suffocate as the bear holds you tight while swaying with joy "My bounty went up" Bepo calls out letting you go, so he can hand you his wanted poster, looking it over your eyes soften at the new picture showing a fighting but very cute Bepo but you gasp slightly at the bounty seeing it went up form 500 to 2,500 berries "Wow Bepo, this is amazing" You jump a little as the bear joins you "If you like that your gonna love this, look how cool i am" Penguin runs over putting an arm around your shoulders shoving his wanted poster in your face. Handing Bepo's wanted poster back to the bear you pull Penguins poster away from your face so you can actually see it "Oh please mine is on fire" Shachi sing songs as he goes to your other side putting his arm over his friends that's still around your shoulder holding his wanted poster out to you "Please man your hat is covering your face" Penguin shoots back earning a glare for Shachi "Yea well at least my bounty is higher than yours, plus i think your picture is blurry" As the two playfully banter you take the two wanted posters and look them over, their bounties went up a lot close to going into the millions "Well done boys, i'm very proud of you" You smile at the two managing to stop their bickering as you hand the papers back to them, the two smile at you while finally letting you go "Which one do you like better?" The two yell at the same time before glaring at each other.

Deciding to tease them you pat Bepo on the head, the bear staying close to you since he doesn't really like the two men arguing with you in the middle. Bepo is very sweet, but he can get aggressive, luckily he only steps in if you try and fail to stop the two, he knows you can handle them though. "I like Bepo's" You giggle rubbing the white soft fur on the bears head making the bear smile wide "What? Not fair" The two yell behind you making some of the crew laugh at their shocked faces "I'm sorry" Bepo bows making the two yells more "What are you sorry for?" They both glare at the bear who jumps slightly but you reassure him and turn to the two boys "That's enough now" you sigh pushing them away from Bepo "I'm proud of all of you so don't fight" Your words make the two sigh and nod "yes ma'ma" Shachi sighs walking off to get a drink soon followed by Penguin. "You ok?" You ask Bepo who still has his head down, he nods though and holds his wanted poster close to his chest as you place a hand on his shoulder "You did an amazing job, go celebrate" You gesture over to some of the crew now in the kitchen having drinks and making popcorn. Bepo nods with a smile and heads off to join the crew while you turn back to the sofa seeing Ikkaku sulking. With a sad smile you place hand on her shoulder and kneel down i front of her "You did a great job even though your bounty didn't go up" You try and reassure her but her eyes don't look up from her lap "I think mine's now the lowest" She sighs, you know its hard for her being the only woman besides you on the crew.

Some times it feels like you have to prove yourself just to stay a part of it even though the crew and your captain have never made you feel that way. "Hopefully it will next time, for now i'm just glad you got a new picture" You say looking down at the dangling paper in her hand, your comment makes the girl crack a smile while bringing the paper up, so she can look it over "They got my good side at least" She laughs and you stand up and place a hand on her shoulder letting out a small laugh a long with her "Every side is your good side" You comment making her jump slightly as she looks up at you, her brows furrow trying to tell if you joking with her or not but when she realizes your being serious Ikkaku jumps up and hugs you tight "Thank you" She whispers as you hug her back with a small smile. You hold her for a while rubbing her back hoping she'll feel better soon but you break the hug when someone clears their throat behind you. Turning your head while holding Ikkaku's arms you look to see Jean Bart who has a surprisingly big smile on his face. You smile at him before turning back to Ikkaku who gives you a small smile before sitting back down now looking much happier "Thanks again Y/N" The girl relaxes into the sofa as you nod at her and walk over to the large pirate seeing him with several papers in his large hands. "Did yours go up too?" You ask stopping in front of the man but having to lift your head up in order to look at his face "Yea but i think you'll like this more" The giant man holds out two pieces of paper.

Taking them you lightly smile seeing Law's new wanted poster. You still can't get over how handsome he is but you were very surprised at the bounty, it now being 3 billion, you knew it would go up but this was insane. You shake your head trying not to get too overwhelmed by the amount of zero's as you pull out the paper form under it and gasp in surprise gripping the paper unable to believe what your seeing. Somehow Jean Bart knew exactly how you would react to this news managing to take the time you gave him while looking over Law's wanted poster to move everyone out of your direct line to the door. Some crew were confused, but they didn't argue with the the man and stayed out of the way. It took you a second but your legs moved before you could tell them to do so, running out of the room with the wanted papers in your grip you sprinted done the hall jumping over the lip of the doors connecting hallways. The crew watched you run off but Bart stopped them form following you some concerned as to why you would react like that, "Is she ok?" Bepo asks walking over to the large man but keeping his eyes on the door you ran out of but Bart smiles wide at the bear "They got their first bounty" Bepo jumped in excrement with a big smile as others laugh and cheer starting to get more drinks out to throw a party for themselves.

Running down the metal hallways of the sub you soon make it to Law's office, you didn't bother knocking just barraged in to see your captain sitting at his desk reading a book "Y/N?" Law asks about to get up when you slam the wanted posters on the desk before turning to him with a big smile. The poor captain had no idea what was going on, you've never walked into his office without knocking first, he thought maybe it was an emergency but your smile and bouncing feet told him different. "Your bounty went up, it's now 3 billion and look" You bounce on your tip toes unable to control your excitement as you grab your first ever wanted poster and show it to him "My first wanted poster" You laugh with slight tears of joy threatening to roll down your checks. You haven't spoken or even looked at Law all day, he hated the silent treatment you gave him but seeing you smile so beautifully at him and rush in to show him something made his heart melt slightly, a small smile appears on his face as he takes his eyes off you to look at your wanted poster. The picture in his opinion didn't do you justice but what really caught his eye was the bounty, his small smile drops and his eyes go wide making your heart sink. You stop bouncing and your smile fades along with your tears of joy, you didn't know what was wrong, maybe he's still upset over you being mad at him or yelling at him. "Law... I'm not mad anymore, i'm sorry" You go to put the wanted poster down but your captain grabs it staring with his breath hitched in his throat.

Law tried to form words but it was hard, he's never seen a first bounty this high before, yes you helped take down big mom but for a first bounty this was insane "I-I know, thats not it" The captain finally managed to say prying his eyes away from your poster to look at your sad face, he didn't mean to upset you but he couldn't help the reaction he had. "Then what? Don't you like it?" You hated the pit in your stomach, you didn't think to look at your bounty, you didn't care how low it was, you were just happy to have your name and face on a wanted poster. Law quickly stands and pulls you into a hug with a slight chuckle finally getting over his shock "I love it sweetheart, i'm sorry, i'm just shocked at such a high bounty" You sigh in relief at his words while hugging back, to be honestly the silent treatment you were giving him was torture for you since you love spending time with him, even if its just sitting in the same room as each other and not talking. "It can't be that high, i mean Bepo's is now at 2,500, mine can't be much higher" You laugh only to for Law's eyes to widen slightly and pull you away to see if your being serious, looking up at him in confusion it suddenly hits you that your bounty must be much higher than Bepo's "You didn't look?" The captain asks grabbing your wanted poster while keeping a hand on your hip as you shake your head. "No i ran straight here... i didn't think it would be much" You blush a little, its funny how your first thought when getting your wanted poster was to show Law.

The captain lets a small smile show while handing you the poster letting you look it over, your eyes scan the page until you get to the price on your head, as you count the amount of zero's your eyes widen in shock as your hand starts to shake. Law's quick to notice taking your hand to hold it still while rubbing your hip "1.5 billion?" you ask looking up at the man who nods getting closer to your face "How? Why?" You could hardly comprehend what was written on the piece of paper but Law snapped you out of your thoughts by placing a light kiss on your lips "You did great" He whispers against your lips making your heart flutter a little as a smile appears back on your face "I'm sorry for yelling" You whisper back placing the paper back on the desk so you can run your hands over his shoulder and to the back of his neck keeping him close to you "I deserved it, shouldn't have let that asshole get to me.... I-I'm proud of you y/n" Leaning in the captain lightly kisses your lips feeling you lean in while running a hand up and through his hair. He goes to pull away but you bring him back in for more placing light kisses on his lips before locking them fully and lightly biting his bottom lip. Law chuckles slightly wrapping his arms around your waist to press you closer to him as his mouth opens letting your tongues meet and lips move together. You can't help but moan slightly into it as the captain lifts you up and makes you sit on the desk pulling your legs, so they wrap around his waist, the two of you pull away for air both panting slightly from the heated make out.

Law looks down at the desk spotting his wanted poster and running his hand over it "Your so handsome" You whisper hugging the man close while kissing his neck, Law leans into you a bit before pulling over your wanted poster to get another look at it "you're beautiful" The captain whispers back making you pull away from his neck, so he can kiss you again, its light a first but soon gets heated again this time Law taking the lead and licking your lower lip getting you to open your mouth for him. The make out was long one or both of you having to pull away for air only to go back in for more, you swear his lips are addictive, he may not always show it but moment like this tell you how much he loves you and you want to give that same love back. "Sweetheart" Law stops the make out placing his hand on your neck to stop you form going back in for more, he knew if you did keep kissing him he would just cave in and let you, as much as he would love to continue the captain not only had work to do, but he also had to talk to the crew. "I'm only going to say it to you ok.... I'm sorry for how i acted yesterday, forgive me?" Law asks seeing you smile and nod with loving eyes "Forgiven, just don't do it again" You pull his hand away form your neck giving him a light kiss before getting off the desk "The others are probably throwing a party, you wanna join?" you ask fixing Law's hat and shirt that you've messed up while the captain runs a hand through your hair to fix the mess he made "Only for a little while."

They really tried their best not to look on your chest (Kizaru is trying his best.) Akainu being the more professional one he tried his best to follow his orders while Kizaru and Kuzan were just basically using the devil fruits around you.

Kizaru could just be in your palms and I'm a second next to your shoulders, while Aokiji was secretly using the highest temperature he could do so he can see your reaction (kinda kinky ngl). Akainu is out here trying his best not to melt those two. You really tried your best to listen to Akainu's proposal yet you can't when you're out here squishing each and everyone of the Admirals cheeks:3

Let's say you agreed to be in the marines cuz why not? It's been a long time since you felt the thrill of an adventure! And somehow you were already high ranked because of your brutal strength, plus your fishmen karate you could practically control tides. The world government tried their best to not let your presence be known in public cuz bro. YOU ARE BASICALLY A WALKING HISTORY BOOK FOR HOW OLD YOU ARE.

You were immediately given a high ranks as a Vice Admiral, the world government then gave you a house...or beach?...Body of water? I DUNNO but a big place with water that's your home :3. Corazon and Coby (Sea Serpant! Reader was found way before) were only exeptions to see you, and they were immediately HEAD OVER HEELS. Corazon could not think straight or THINK whenever you're mention in a conversation, he would just immediately day dream. Size difference? I mean yea the only smallest form you can turn is like 20 feet or something BUT IT CAN WORK IT WILL WORK (take that as you can 😈) Sengoku is Corazon number 1 hype man🔥 While Garp is Koby's hype man lol :3

Now if you were lucky enough to even have some kind of freedom but if some kind of MIRACLE you were placed as a Vice Admiral picking up the Warlords when it comes to a serious meeting it would be an interesting sight, let's just say that they went to the meeting not because they were interested in the shit show of a meeting but they do want to see the 200 feet tall Sea Serpent again...

AND QIQBAIA8 And since you were found long before, let's imagine that you were a Rocks Pirate. (I HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA YET SO SORRY IF MY INFORMATIOM OF THE ROCKS PIRATES SUCKS). You were the eye candy of the Rocks Pirate. Big Mom, Kaido, and Newgate would always be 24/7 ON YOUR SIDE, they will one make you join their family one day !!

After many years they are still doing so, Kaido making you mary one of his calamities. The Tobi Ropo even tried some flirty moves on you, but Yamato. Dear lord. Even with or without his father's consent YAMATO. WILL. MARRY. YOU. END. OF. STORY.

You and King got really close after you tell some brief mentions of the Lunarian race back on your days, and that's what bonded you guys, yet everytime he was near you and you started talking his race, he can only day dream of you with a traditional Lunarian ring (or any courting object), on your hands with....children around you with brown skin, black wings with fire, some has some long tails that suspectedly looks similar to yours...Wait. IS HE THINKING THAT YOU AND HIM CAN RE POPULATE THE WHOLE LUNARIAN RACE WITH A MIX OF YOURS! END HIM NOW!!

While Yamato is out here telling you that you are his Toki to his Oden, (corny, but its Yamato I forgive him :3) and since he's Oden, he must create a family with you! He would thunder bagua anyone's ass if they tried to even break his dream! No more of that!!

And you know the drill YEAA BIG MOM, RAGGH. Big Mom out here making you marry any of her children especially her Sweet Generals, the best for you ♡

You and Katakuri connect when it comes to your sharp teeths, plus Katakuri never felt so small in someone eyes until he met you, the very first time he layed his head on your cheek or your long tail as you sweetly careless him telling him to let go of his stress, he never felt this way..he felt so well treated, he now just Katakuri, the Katakuri that didn't need to hide his sharp teeth, instead loved from you. He never felt this way of submission...

Cracker and Smoothie too felt the same, their mother is a bad one indeed so when they are on your presence they could just relax and be caresses by you while they lay on your chest ♡ (Cracker isn't looking, he swear he isn't 👀)

Whitebeard is the same as those two but more cunning perhaps (in his own way). Both Kaido and Linlin are evil yes. But Whitebeard might be a pirate but he is far from evil, he is an honorable pirate the clashed with the greatest Pirate of all time, he has that (DAWG IN HIM) sense of respect, his opinion and decisions are always noble ones too, so what ever he says must be true and reasonable...right?

Do you like Marco, his first division a healer who would take absolute care about you, or Ace his second division, you would never get bored with him while he is around! Izo? The Samurai who was a follower of the Great Kozuki Oden! He dances so elegant from his homeland! Choose my dear, he just wants you to be apart of his family so badly!!

I can yap about this all day but I got school yall plus I don't really think any of you will like this idea. Also whoever tries to even have sex with Sea Serpent! Reader, their ass would NOT be walking the next day💀👆🔥

Zoro and Nami alliance is the struggle of being in love with freaking royalty while you come from the wildest paths of life. It's the recognition of the street smartness they needed to survive, the eyes that catch someone more refined than them and can't look away. All they have in life is what they have taken with their own hands. For many years they lived out of stealing from pirates and hunting pirates and— listen, they are feral and loyal, sure of themselves and their skills, they're the oldest members of the strawhats and they are very very gay, okay? They'll be about to die and yet they'd find a way to fulfill their promises, all the time.

Vivi and Sanji alliance is like: my life is not mine, it is of my people (Alabasta or Baratie), it is the life I promised to fulfill the heritage my father gave me (Cobra or Zeff). I'll do anything for my friends to be safe and sound, but I'm the first to sacrifice for their sake. I could never deny the blood coursing through my veins, the curse it brought me, all the memories and the suffering but the love too, the light shining in the dark. They've been in the dark parts of the world, they've been as savage or wild as any pirate or mercenary. Incapable of denying assistance to those in need, who are hungry, who seek shelter. They hide terrible circumstances and the hurt they created with kindness and smiles. They are perfectly composed if you don't look too close, but broken if you know the signs.

Sanji and Nami alliance comes from seeking more "geographic dreams"; cooking and drawing maps, not exactly the sort of stuff that requires half as much blood as trying to rebuild a nation that was the center of an historic attack or to become the greatest swordman. They have to watch as Zoro and Vivi take hit after hit, imagining the pain they take and they'll keep on taking for the sake of the nation/crew. It's the "what won't you let me help you carry that burden" and "I can't follow where you go" and "my childhood was bullshit, I miss my mom, why can't I escape the darkness of my past, I was just a kid, why are you cutting your leg or giving you food or letting them kill you for me, my real family is the connected by blood", etc.

Zoro and Vivi alliance is the determination to push forward to greatness even as your body is taking enough damage to kill you. You were given the secondary role of command and you won't fail the one who gave it to you. Even when they risk their lives, they can't die, understood? Their values are strong and unmovable, they won't abandon their honor. They wish they could freely romance the one they love, but it's the crushing weight of their responsibilities the reminder that romance has to play a secondary role in their lives. They wish to love and yet the one they wish to be loved by is always moving further and further away...

I don't know what I'm trying to say anyway.

I'm suddenly imagining Steve’s parents as James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter.

"Have you ever played the Floor is Lava game?" Eddie asked Steve.

They were lounging at Steve's house, watching TV when Eddie suggested the game. They had flipped through the channels, but they found nothing they wanted to watch at the moment.

"No," Steve scoffed. "What's that?"

"Oh, right. You're an only child with boring parents. My mom used to play it with me when I was little. The concept of the game is that you have to avoid touching the floor because it's made of Lava," Eddie grinned. "You wanna play?"

"Sure."

An hour later, pillows were rearranged on the floor as well as the furniture. They had been hopping around on them for a while now, Eddie telling an outlandish tale of Lava Pirates. Steve had made it safely to the couch, but Eddie was still on the coffee table. The pillows in between them had been knocked aside, and now Eddie had to make it from the coffee table to the couch. There was a huge gap.

"I don't think I'm going to make it. Tell everyone that I love them," Eddie said dramatically. "Go on without me!"

"Oh, for fu - just jump, Eddie!" Steve exclaimed.

Eddie jumped, his feet barely making it to the edge of the couch, and he almost stumbled into the Lava if it hadn't been for Steve grabbing the front of his shirt. Steve pulled him onto the couch and into his arms, wrapping one arm around his waist to stable him.

"My hero!" Eddie said, batting his eyelashes.

Eddie pressed his hands to Steve’s chest, breathing heavily as he stared into his eyes. They were both breathing heavily. Steve pulled him closer until their bodies were pressed together. He took the opportunity to kiss Eddie, pressing his lips gently against his. He smiled when he felt Eddie kiss him back. It was brief, though, because Eddie was suddenly pulling back.

"I'm sorry," Eddie said quickly. "I'm not like that. I mean, it's okay if you are, but I'm not - I'm not like that."

"Okay," Steve said, his voice filled with emotion, and he tried not to look at Eddie, his face red from embarrassment.

Eddie stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do as he watched his friend's eyes fill up with tears. He jumped down from the couch and started putting on his shoes.

"I'm going to go now," Eddie said, but Steve didn't say anything. "Uh, see you later."

Eddie started walking towards the door, and as he left, the last thing he heard was the sound of a sob coming from Steve. He hated that sound. Eddie's chest fluttered with this heavy weight, and he found it hard to breathe. He wasn't like that, was he? Shit, he needed to call Ronnie.

A couple of days later. . .

Steve thought he had been hiding his emotions all day at work, but apparently, he was wrong.

"What the hell's wrong with you?" Robin asked as soon as they sat down for their break.

"What are you talking about?" Steve asked with a sigh.

"I mean. You've been in a mood all day. You were even rude to the customers," Robin said. "So, rude that they gave you looks, they made complaints to me. You even snapped at me earlier."

"I did?" Steve asked in surprise.

"What's going on?" Robin asked softly.

"I, uh, kissed Eddie," Steve revealed, fiddling with his lunch.

"Okay, so it didn't go well. What happened?" She asked.

He told her all about the game they played and how Steve had saved him. He trailed off near the end.

"We were wrong about him, Robin," he said.

"What?"

"He's not like us," Steve said, shrugging. "He told me. I just need some time to move on, get over him, and then we can go back to being friends. I just want him to be a part of my life, and I'll take whatever he can give me."

"No! No! He is like us! There's no way my radar is off about this," Robin frowned.

"It's okay, Robin. I'll be okay," Steve said.

"Are you sure he didn't kiss you back?" Robin asked.

"I didn't say that he didn't," he said.

"So, he did kiss you?" She asked.

"Yeah, but I'm sure it was like a reflex," Steve said.

"Okay. What did he say exactly after that?" Robin asked.

"He said that he wasn't like that, but it was okay if I was, but he just wasn't like that," Steve replied.

"Wait, so he said it twice?" Robin asked.

"Yeah, why?"

Robin frowned thoughtfully as she tapped her chin. She placed her hands on the table in front of him.

"Okay, I don't want to give you false hope, but maybe it was us who's the problem. We kind of assumed that Eddie's the kind of guy who always knew about himself like we did," Robin said. "But maybe that's not the case."

"Are you saying that I awakened something in him?" Steve said.

"It's a possibility," Robin said softly. "Maybe he just needs time."

Steve smiled, feeling a little more hopeful than he had in days. Yeah, he could give Eddie all of the time in the world.

A few days later. . .

Steve was sitting on the couch, pouting as he stared at the blank TV screen. Every so often, he would glance at the direction of the kitchen, where the phone was, and hoped it would ring. Maggie Harrington plopped onto the coffee table in front of her son and placed his feet in her lap.

"Whatcha doing, Bebie?" Maggie asked.

"Wishing that the phone would ring," Steve said.

"Well, you know what they say about a watched pot," Maggie chuckled, but Steve didn't laugh. "Honey, you have to give him more time than this. Not everyone is like us."

"I know," Steve frowned. "I just don't want to lose him."

"No matter what happens, he'd be an idiot not to be a part of your life," Maggie said.

Thunder clapped loudly outside, and suddenly, there came the sound of hard rain beating against the roof. Steve jumped, and Maggie squeezed his feet to calm him down. A few moments later, the front door opened and closed.

"Mags, do you know anything about this wet metalhead loitering about outside? I don't think he belongs to anyone. I don't see any tags. Do you think Steve might like him?" John asked.

He and Eddie appeared in the door, a wide grin on his face. Meanwhile, Eddie's eyes were wide as he looked at Steve, his hair dripping wet.

"Dad!" Steve exclaimed, blushing.

Eddie pulled crushed, wet flowers out of his vest and held them out for Steve.

"These are for you," Eddie said, and Steve took them with a smile.

"Aw, he got him flowers," Maggie said, cooing.

"Mom, Dad, can you give us a minute?" Steve asked.

"You're right, Steve, he is cute," Maggie said, flipping up her thumbs at him.

"Mom!" Steve yelled.

"Come on, Mags," John said, pulling her out of the room.

"I'm sorry about that. I didn't even think about if your parents even know about you," Eddie blushed.

"Oh, we know, and we were so proud of Bebie when he came out to us!" Maggie yelled from the hallway. "Besides, we're both lavender married. I'm a lesbian and John's gay!"

"Mom!"

"Sorry, son, she got away from me!" John called. "Slippery little witch."

"Bebie?" Eddie asked in amusement.

"When I was little, I had this lisp, and I would pronounce my name like Stebe," Steve rolled his eyes. "Then mom kind of ran with the name."

"And it was the cutest little lisp," Maggie said, popping her head in. "You should have seen him when he was little. He was such a mama's boy. You know, I have a picture of him, trying to walk around in my heels. It's so - "

"Mom! Please!" Steve yelled, torn between laughing and crying.

"Mrs. Harrington - " Eddie started to say.

"Maggie," she corrected with a grin.

"Maggie, you know, if you wanted to talk about how cute Steve is, then we can have lunch, and you can tell me all the embarrassing stories about him then?" Eddie asked with a grin. "Okay?"

"Okay!" Maggie exclaimed and left the room.

"Sorry about them," Steve said, shaking his head.

"So, if they're, uh, lavender married, how did - " Eddie started to say.

"I'm adopted," Steve said.

"Ah," Eddie said, and suddenly, he pulled a rock out of his pocket. "I also found this because it reminded me of your eyes."

"Thanks," Steve said, grinning, clutching it to his chest.

"Look, when I said I wasn't like that, I thought that I wasn't like that, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I really am like that. It wasn't just because so many people assume that about me. I always scoffed at them because I'm a freak, so that must mean I must be like that too, right? You came into my life and woke me up. I've always been like that, I just didn't want to recognize it because I'm already different enough, even though I know that there's nothing wrong with being different," Eddie said. "I want to be with you, but I'm still sort of figuring things out."

"We can take things as slow as you want," Steve said.

"A little kiss wouldn't be too fast, though," Eddie grinned as he took Steve’s hands in his.

Steve leaned forward and kissed him gently, pulling him close. He broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against Eddie's.

"I think we can tell your parents to come back in now," Eddie laugh.

"Mom, Dad!" Steve called out.

Maggie came in with a pile of clothes and a towel.

"I brought you some clothes and something to dry off with," Maggie said.

"Thanks, I had completely forgotten that I was dripping on your carpet," Eddie said cheerfully.

When he came back, dressed in Steve's sweats, he plopped down next to Steve on the couch and snuggled into his arms.

"So, Steve always complained about how you guys are away a lot and how much he misses you," Eddie said. "Like an idiot, I assumed the worst. I think that's because of my own shitty dad, so I apologize because you guys are awesome."

"Well, the last few years have kind of been difficult," John replied. "We've been trying to retire my dad's insurance company for a while now so we can spend more time with Steve, but my partner of 15 years who has occasionally been my partner on and off as well, revealed to me that he's been embezzling from the company over the last few years so we have been trying to clean that mess up. We were supposed to hand over the company over to him, and now that's all fucked up. So, we have also been looking for a suitable and trustworthy replacement to take over the company that my dad built from the ground up, a company my dad built to be inclusive for everyone."

"Shit, that fucking sucks," Eddie said with wide eyes.

"It does fucking suck," John sighed. "But Steve and Mags here have been my rock. Couldn't get through this without them."

There was silence for a while and then Eddie leaned forward with a smirk.

"So, Maggie, where is this picture of Steve in your heels that you spoke of?" Eddie asked, and John laughed while Maggie shrieked.

"I'm going to get the photo album," she said and jumped up.

"You're in for it now, son," John said.

"Mom! Please!"

-Sanji took to being a father so naturally, raising you with so much love, showing you how you should be treated, and between him, Zeff, and the rest of the staff aboard Bartie, you were very protected.

-When Sanji pulled away from you, revealing you to the gaze of his family, they all froze, seeing how much you looked like Sora.

-You looked to see these unknown people looking at you and you spoke, holding onto Sanji’s arm, “Papa who are they?”

-Reiju was instantly kneeling before you, a bright smile on your face, “It’s nice to meet you- I’m Sanji’s big sister! Which makes you my cute little niece!” your eyes went wide and then sparkly, “I have an auntie?”

-You were still a little confused, but nodded softly, as your papa always told you the truth.

-Sanji instantly dodged at Niji tried to punch him, shielding you as he leapt back, “Oi you bastard! You’re going to hurt Y/N!”

-Judge was looking down at you, seeing you looking so much like Sora, he wanted you for himself, with your Devil Fruit abilities you would certainly become an asset to the Vinsmoke Family after some modifications.

-Sanji paled, seeing this before he tossed you to Nami, “Run Nami-san!” hearing his voice, she instantly did as she was told, taking off while he faced off against his family and was quickly beaten down.

-You sobbed, seeing him get hit as Nami clutched you close, managing to get away, not willing to let any of them take you. You couldn’t understand why they were so cruel to your papa!

-At the wedding, Pudding was shocked to see that Sanji had a child, after you ran over to him when everything started going crazy, after you had managed to slip away from Chiffon, who had been watching you, wanting to see your papa.

-When Sanji freed his siblings and father, they were all stunned, seeing him willing to help them even after everything they had done to him before he told them to leave both him and you alone.

-Reiju was the only one who you let hug you, as you were escaping, after she kicked Smoothie away from you and Sanji, hugging you close before she handed you to Sanji, “Keep my little niece safe, okay?”

-You could tell that Sanji liked Reiju, there was something different about her, compared to the others as he spoke, “Thank you nee-san.” She smiled before rushing back in, letting Sanji, you and the others to escape.

-As you were sailing away, seeing the Vinsmoke Family fighting to keep the Charlotte Family away, you waved, “Bye Auntie Reiju!! Bye grandpa! Bye uncles!!” Judge was stunned, seeing you wave goodbye to them, hearing your words.

-Could he have had more of a loving family with more grandkids, had he not been worried about creating strong warriors? Perhaps Sora was right. Perhaps Sanji was right, this wasn’t a family, and due to it, they lost not only Sanji, who was the only one of them to resemble Sora, they lost you, their only niece. Judge and the other Vinsmokes had nobody to blame but themselves.

Sweet sweet love

She didn't plan what was going to happen. This sudden change never crossed her mind at all. Nevertheless she was standing before the crying straw hat crew with a saddened look. It pained her to be the cause of their distress. It wasn't her intention to make such a step so suddenly, but deep inside she wouldn't be able to support them like she used to.

"(Y/N)… Are you really sure? This is really dangerous. They know that you belong to us.",Luffy asked frustrated.

Nodding while tears rolled down her face, (Y/N) bowed before them, which let them cry even more.

"I know but I have to try with my abilities that I am allowed to stay. There is so much for me to learn there. A chance to get better. I won't be able to forget this place. Please understand and forgive me. I sadly leave your crew but you will always be in my heart.. Thank you so much… For everything. For taking me with you to support me in becoming the best patisser of the world. For helping me collecting rare receipts and all the fun we had in baking and testing…. ",she spoke and took her things to put it into a small boat. Luffy came to her side and hugged her tightly. Feeling his strong grip she gave him time to get used to her decision.

It wasn't an easy one.

(Y/N) crossed the straw hat pirate's way on a small island where she worked at a bakery. Her dream to become the best patisser and be known over the seas got Luffy's attention immediately and the next moment she found herself onto his ship. It was her chance to get out of her nutshell. To get out and explore the world. Every island they sailed (Y/N) collected new recipes, rare creations to get more experience. The straw hats really helped her to come closer to her goal. And then it hit her. Like a ton of bricks and she never ever believed that something like that would change her whole point of view.

Love…

A desperate love to be exact. It was this moment where time stood still after you laid your eyes on someone who took your breath away. And this someone was none other than Katakuri Charlotte. The enemy. A feared pirate of the Big mom pirates. (Y/N) was part of their attack at Big moms tea party, but luckily hidden at the background with Chopper. The moment she locked eyes with him at the party felt like a firework of emotions. Her heart beated, no raced uncontrollably. Took her some time to calm her racking nerves, after they stayed in Bege's castle for safety. An intriguing partner of their plan. No one noticed, because it looked like she was scared. And to be honest at that situation everyone was, but she was just bitterly in love with a man who was about to kill them.

How stupid…. How unfortunate and how unfair….

A desperate one sided love.

It didn't help either to meet him again at the Sunny. Piercing their forms with his strong, intimating, sexy appearance. God he was handsome. She froze in the spot not of fear, no, because of amazement. Chopper pulled her to safety and they had to see how Luffy threw himself and the sexy mochi god into the mirror world. It was complicated. It pained her heart that she was in a position where she would never be able to see him again. (Y/N) knew how bad her chances were. Were there even any? She even was more worried about his condition than Luffy's wounds after he got back from their fight.

Everyone knew something was off after the whole cake adventure. They could feel that (Y/N) was suffering of leaving the island. Even if they had a hard time. The moment she was met with a world of sweets. It seemed too exciting to be reality. Her eyes sparkled of cacao island with the beautiful cafes made of sweets, producing sweets and selling sweets. The others could see that she had a hard time of collecting all those ideas she was met with. They didn't know that there was now another reason to stay at this sweet place.

"Luffy… I am so sorry.. I have to. This is my chance of working at a top patisserie…", she spoke and hugged everyone dearly.

Getting into the boat she traveled back to cacao island. It didn't take her long to meet Pudding who was beyond shocked to see her again. Explaining her risky plan she guided (Y/N) to whole cake chateau. She knew she could lose her life. Everything could end in an instant, but it was worth it, because she followed her instincts and mostly her heart. Never would she be happy again, if she didn't ever try.

Motivated (Y/N) stood before Big mom in person who was scaring the shit out of her and asking what her life was worth after causing her so much trouble. Nevertheless she was impressed that she had the courage to face her. She was mocking her for thinking that a former straw hat would be allowed to stay. Not after what they had done. But (Y/N) gave her a confident smile. Explained her dream. Told her about her skills, which made her quite interested. Quickly (Y/N) presented her the fascinating creation of fried chocolate bars. No words were needed anymore. With a deal that she would deliver her those sweets every day, (Y/N) was allowed to stay under her protection from now on. Her risky plan succeeded. And this led her to her present situation.

Sighing in delight (Y/N) tasted her cream, while standing in her kitchen. Her own kitchen with expensive equipment. She got an own Cafe with her name on it. It made her unbelievable proud. And it made her unbelievable happy to deliver her sweets to whole cake chateau, because maybe she was able to meet him. The second reason still was making her restless.

"It's been a while… What is he doing? Fighting? Sailing?..", she whispered dreamingly while filling her doughnuts with the whipped cream.

The sound of the doorbell got her attention and let her stop in her tracks. Brushing her hands on her cooking apron she approached the counter to greet her customer. But it wasn't an ordinary customer. It was him. Katakuri Charlotte. His tall form looked down to her small one in silence. The air got heavy. Her body froze in the spot, while his look seemed to pierce her uneasy gaze. She didn't expected him to come here to her shop. She didn't expected him at all anywhere, because she heard how busy he was. Surprised she smiled up to his emotionless look.

"Hi. Nice to meet you. My name is (Y/N). Are you here for your mother's daily sweets?", she asked nervously. Katakuri watched her for awhile and nodded shortly.

"Yes."

Their first conversation. Short. No details. How great. Nevertheless (Y/N) kept her smile and nodded happily. Quickly rushing back to the kitchen she shoved a big basket on small carriage and pulled it to the counter.

"I get it.", he spoke and grabbed the basket without any effort and lifted it up. Amazed she watched his doings and forgot how stupid her expression must look. Quickly she shook her head and avoid his amused expression.

"I have to go.", he spoke shortly and left immediately. Sighing she looked after him and realized how hard it really was to get to know him. After all she was just yeah (Y/N). Nothing extraordinary. Sighing she was aware of her non existent chance. On the other side Katakuri couldn't believe it. He heard the gossip from his brothers that a straw hat girl came back to life here. Even got a special deal.

How could someone be so reckless??

It took his interest and it let him offer her mother to get her sweets to have a reason. The moment he stepped into the building with this sweet scent let his heart flutter. He often stepped into bakeries, but in a way it felt different. He could feel the passion and love of someone, who really enjoy working here. It felt comfortable like never before. And the moment this girl stepped before him, looking surprised, shy and absolutely cute let his normal strong appearance tremble. He recognized her from the fight. He wasn't able to think about their meeting back then, but she was haunting his mind later on. How unfortunate for him to have such uncontrollable feelings. Never he had to deal with sleepless nights, because of thinking of a girl. A breathtaking girl he just met in between a fight. A girl he was attracted to. He thought about their leaving, about what she was doing now and where she would sail next. Everything with a bitter aftertaste.

But now standing before her made him clueless of what to do. Should he have asked something ordinary? But what? And wouldn't he look stupid? He was the sweet General after all. He would just embarasse himself. The part with getting connected wasn't so easy as he thought it would be. Alone seeing her let his body tremble of excitement and fear. Fear of rejection. Nevertheless he felt a stinging sweet longing inside of him. Sighing he hated himself for letting such an opportunity go.

"Wait…. Please!", her beautiful voice let him stop in his tracks. Looking behind, he was met with (Y/N) 's stunning bright smile. Running to his side he gave her a confused look after seeing another smaller basket in her hands.

"I am sorry Katakuri.. Oh forgive me.. Sweet General Charlotte.. Or no sweet general katakuri..", she stuttered embarrassed, which he found absolutely adorable and sweet. To be honest everything what she did was making him happy.

"Just Katakuri is fine. Don't worry (Y/N)..", he spoke and felt his heart flutter of her shy and flustered gaze.

"Thank you Katakuri. Here these are for you.", she smiled up to him and showed him the sweet doughnuts. Taking the basket from her hands he gave her a surprised look.

"a welcome and thank you gift for visiting my place. It made me really happy.", she spoke and didn't think about how it sounded. Red as a tomato she avoid his stunned gaze. For the first time he felt his face burn not of anger. No. It was because of her sweet and kind words.

" Hopefully you like doughnuts? It's a special recipe. They are filled with chocolate.",(Y/N) explained happily. Katakuri only needed the words "filled with" and was more than motivated to taste them.

"I love them…", he blurted out while his look wandered along the lovely coating of her sweets. There were little hearts placed on it, which let his smile under his scarf grew even more. Maybe it was just a decoration, nevertheless it gave him a sweet warmth around his heart.

" Really! Then enjoy Katakuri! I hope you like them. See you around! Bye", she spoke and grabbed her cooking apron to calm her nerves. Quickly turning around she rushed back to her Cafe. To her safe point where she leaned against the door and touched her chest. Her racing heart wasn't the only symptom, she had to endure at that moment. Was it too much? Too straightforward? But who knows when she would see him again. It felt nice to be by his side.

"Luffy… You were right. I found my luck on this journey. Thank you"

Smiling brightly Katakuri looked after her. Sweet. Everything she did was sweet. And her doughnuts would sure taste as sweet as she was.

And he was right.. so right. The moment he was back home he couldn't wait to finally reach his room. His secret hideout to get rid of the annoying fabric around his neck and making himself comfortable. Giving the heart decoration one last look he bite into it. And god he had to resist to not stuff it down his throat. They were good. Really good. No amazing. Sighing in delight he not only felt his stomach full. His heart was as well full of joy and love. Noticing a small note at the end of the basket he took it carefully with his sugar coated fingers.

"Have a nice day. See you, (Y/N)"

Smiling brightly he touched the letters and couldn't wait to visit her Cafe again.

೫ author’s notes: ahhh this was too cute to write! i struggled with the ending 😭 but it turned out cuter than i expected ! happy end of my valentine event !! semi-proofread

4:30 pm -

“Woonie, what part of this looks like a fort to you?” A fit of laughter threatens to escape your mouth. The pillows were rapidly falling, making your end of the pillow fort look like a sad pile of blankets. Woonhak gave you a sheepish glance, hurriedly adjusting the pillows and placing books to hold up the pillows in place. He wanted you to enjoy your spot in the fort, and he wouldn’t have as much fun either if the pillows kept falling onto your head.

After some 30-odd minutes of watching and giggling as Woonhak fixed the fort, the precious pillow fort was finally done. Plopping onto the blankets, he turns to you asking, “What should we watch?” You pretend to think for a really long time, putting your fingers under your chin. Muttering softly, you name movies you always enjoyed as a child. "Well I always liked James Bond...or maybe Harry Potter...oh wait, how about Tangled? Nah, there's also Wall-E...oh but what about Pirates of the Caribbean?"

Woonhak laughs, staring at you with wide eyes as he listens intently to you ramble on about the various movies and genres you enjoy. Your quiet muttering would sound crazy to anyone else, but to Woonhak, it was incredibly calming. The way your voice sounded like a harmony that blessed his ears. He could listen to you for hours, days on end, and he'd never get bored.

"So...Wall-E?" He tilts his head toward you, breaking the silence after you've stopped muttering. The screen flicks, changing to show the preview of Wall-E. Smiling to yourself, you nod, adding, "We should definitely watch it." Woonhak giggles, re-enacting how Wall-E was when he met Eve.

"Eeeeve. Eeve? Eva." You burst out laughing at his robot impression, sounding more similar to a chipmunk than a bot. “Woonie, you sound like Alvin.” He rolls his eyes, playfully scoffing as he grabs the remote to click play.

“Hey- if I’m Alvin, who are the others?” He asks, whispering to you. Without even turning to him, you quickly shush him, telling him that this is a part he shouldn’t miss. It was the scene where Eve and Wall-E are running from the other robots, but the Captain knows that Eve has the last plant from Earth. You’d always loved Wall-E, telling your mom when you were little that robots had a better love story than most people.

You giggle at the screen, settling yourself into the fort, bringing a blanket over yourself. Next to you, Woonhak couldn’t focus on the screen, rather, he was staring at you. Sometimes you never failed to make him laugh and you were like a walking sunshine. He couldn’t believe that you were next to him and on Valentine’s Day too no less.

On the other hand, you were beginning to feel sleepy. Perhaps it was because most of your energy was spent laughing with Woonhak as you both made the fort, but either way, you were tired. Your eyelids felt increasingly heavy as you tried your best to focus on the movie.

You relented, giving in to your body wanting sleep. “Used up all your energy, huh?” He laughs quietly, sighing happily as your head falls onto his shoulder. For a few minutes, he watched the movie, making sure to not move so that you could sleep well. The movie was quietly playing in the background as he felt himself get tired with you.

Thirty minutes later, Jaehyun and Sungho came back from the store, grocery bags in hand. They set down the bags, chattering about how they could use help and how they’ll eat all the food if no one else came to help. But how were you both supposed to know? After all, you and Woonhak were asleep in the pillow fort; the movie now playing the credits.

“Hm? Is Woonhak in his room?” Sungho nods at Jaehyun’s question, as he takes out a bottle of chocolate milk. Jaehyun gives him a quick thank you, walking off to get his favorite maknae. As he approached the door, he heard the tell-tale sound of the Disney credits. Opening the door quietly, half-expecting to see you both choosing the next movie, but he wasn’t surprised when he saw you both asleep.

“Awwww.” He swooned, taking his phone out to take a picture, finding you both so cute. You were both snoring softly, the blanket covering the both of you. It was an adorable sight, and you’d wake up to see his hyungs in the fort with you, watching a movie. Some may say it’s annoying but in many ways, it was a perfect Valentine’s Day- spent with what you and Woonhak would call your second family.

While you pick up a fruit, you hear a loud cries. "HELP!!!" You run to see sabo up in the tree.

You were shocked, "sabo, how did you get up there!?". "I saw s-some egg up this tree, I was thinking get the eggs," he said. "Where luffy and ace!?" You question.

"Their still hunting!" Sabo cried. You looked left and right to see luffy and Ace are here, but their aren't here.

You have no choice but to climb the trees. (Oh yeah, your power is sumon nightmare monster and transform one the same thing as black female reader x shanks)

You trund your hands to claws like grey fox same thing as your foot, you took off your shoes.

You start climbing, and Sabo is shocked to see. A wind blew by so hard that caused sabo to lose his balance and fall.

You watch sabo Fall. You jump off the tree and grab sabo. As you grab him, you see you about to hit the ground. You trun your body instead of sabo, but you hold tight on him.

Your back hit the ground, causing you to spit out of blood out of your mouth. "(Y/N)!!!!" Sabo yelled out your name.

You lifted yourbody, "sabo, are you al-". "I'm sorry, ace, luffy, and I planned this!!! We thought that if you were really that strong to become a pirate!!!"

"(Y/N) I'm sorry!!!" You trunaround to see luffy coming towards you, hug you. So, as ace, they both started crying.

"It's okay. I'm alright, it just some blood, "no, it not!!! We cause a lot of trouble. We shouldn't have listened to you!!!" Ace yelled.

"Hey, hey, don't cry. Looks. When I was your age, I fell down on the ground and hurt my knees, but my mother always told me that whenever we cried, we do it with a smile"

You said, smiled with your two fingers. "Like this?" Said luffy holding his cheek, trund his mouth to a smile (still crying).

After that, you guys went. You gave luffy a piggyback ride cause he cried like baby. "So your mother said whenever you cried, you do it with a smile?" Sabo question.

You nodded your head. "She also sang me a lullaby to me." "Can we hear it?" Luffy question. You sang (it sounds like nezuko mother lullaby from demon slayer).

"Hush baby, baby bunny on the hill, tell me why your eyes are so very red, Because when my mother was expecting me, she dined on red berries from a tree, and that is why my eyes are so very red"

"So when you eyes are red cause you were your mother tummy and she ate the bright red berries!" Said luffy.

You giggle as you may it back, you and luffy ace and sabo ate, dadan still mad at the boys who were big trouble. You don't mind, you take the boys to bed.

"Goodnight boys, sweet dreams"

When you are about to close the door, you see, luffy shaking. Maybe he cold doesn't have his blanket, you put blanket on him he say this "goodnight mom" he said fall a asleep.

You smile at him and kiss him on the forehead, so as the other.

You are a great mother with them.

Chapter 13: Cobalt

a/n: since i was gone longer than usual and gave a good cucking - HAVE ANOTHER AYEO cucking, i mean

When you came to and made your way out, the blizzard stopped. The night was still - no wind, no noise. Just the quiet snow and the light of the moon illuminating the glittering landscape. You stood there for a moment, just enjoying the silence. You let out a long sigh, closing your eyes and letting your head fall back. You were already exhausted. Why did Myra send only you? She had seemed pretty adamant about you going alone. She wouldn’t spare anyone else. Did she know something you didn’t?

Your mind then drifted to the crazy guy from earlier. What even was his deal? His face flashed in your mind and you groaned. That unnatural grin couldn’t be…on purpose. It almost looked as if some invisible force was pulling it - pulling it to that unnatural state. It couldn’t be comfortable. Even still, he felt familiar. You couldn’t place why.

You opened your eyes, sighing once more and watching as the clouds from your breath traveled up then to the ground. There wasn’t a lick of wind like earlier. You looked down at your arm. You needed to get that taken care of for sure. You couldn’t lose another arm. Sure, you could probably just make another armband, but you’d honestly rather not.

Thankfully, due to the still of the night, you did hear running water. You followed the noise and soon discovered a small river. At least it wasn’t frozen.

Some time later, you had a small fire going and were boiling water. You cut off a piece of your cloak, dipping it in your now clean water. You hissed softly as you began to clean up your wound, soon enough stitching it up. You were glad you always carried around a small stitch kit just in case. It was essential to you at this point.

Once you were all patched and warmed up, you set off again.

Finally, you made it to a village. The Flower Capital to be specific. You needed to gather some information about Kaido and his castle. You couldn’t just go in blind. This was a stealth mission, not a strength contest. You stood no chance anyway. You knew your limits and you weren’t dumb.

The intel you obtained was a lot. Twenty years of constant downfall. These poor people just couldn’t catch a break. When would their suffering end? Soon, you hoped.

The information that pertained to you, however, was that it seemed that Kaido was going to be throwing some kind of party for an alliance he was having with Big Mom. Great. Two yonkos in one place. Just fantastic. Not only that, all of the beast pirates were apparently going to be there. Fanfuckingtastic. Just what you needed. Though, if you just found some kind of disguise and laid low, you should be just fine. You’re just getting some flowers after all. No need to stress about fighting. No one was going to question you just picking flowers.

Make fun of you, maybe, but nothing more.

“Yeah, I heard that the prison in Udon is holding that Strawhat captain now along with that Kid Pirate captain.” Your neck could have snapped with how fast your head turned. You noticed two people talking and walked over. “I heard the same thing,” you lied, sitting on the bench with the other two. They looked at you for a moment, but didn’t seem to dwell on you for long.

“I heard the Strawhat tried to take on Kaido and was easily defeated.” The woman laughed softly. “That’s what happens when you end up too big for your britches and try to fight a yonko, I guess.” The other woman laughed and you joined in.

“Yeah, it’s crazy,” you say, trying to fish for more information. “How long has that Kid guy been there anyway at this point?”

“Oh, I think it’s been a bit at this point. Kaido captured the whole crew. My husband heard it from a Beast Pirate. Boasting about it, he was.” Your heart sank. Caught the whole crew? Panic set in. Were they alive? Were they dead? Were they being held in the same place? It didn’t sound like it. You needed more information, but you knew you wouldn’t get too much from the two ladies without drawing suspicion.

“Well, at least they’re locked up. We don’t need more pirates terrorizing us. We’ve been through enough,” the other woman said. You nodded along with them, making a little more idle chat before bidding farewell and leaving.

Well, now to figure out where the hell Udon is. And what prison they were talking about. Though, you weren’t sure how old that information was either.

As if the universe was granting you some kind of mercy, you heard another tidbit of information.

“I heard there was a breakout at the Udon prison.” You glanced over, seeing a couple Beast Pirates talking this time. “That Strawhat guy and that Captain Kid guy.” You felt your heart breathe a sigh of relief to hear your brother was able to get out of there. But…where the hell was he now? You didn’t even know where to begin searching for him. You knew he wouldn’t stay in one place long and knew the first thing he’d do is get his crew back.

The only thing you could do was just continue with your own mission. Surely you’d run into him eventually. Besides, he was your brother, he was probably just fine. With a deep sigh, you decided what to do next.

Now, you just need to head to Onigashima. Simple enough. You just…needed to find your boat…and…fuck. Which fuckin’ port you come in on? You should’ve paid more attention to your surroundings and where the hell you were going. Though, taking your own boat over to Onigashima was probably also not very smart. You should probably just sneak on one of their own ships in disguise. Yeah, that checked out. That was a better plan.

Turns out, most of the Beast Pirates were absolutely dense. They were not bright. All it took was knocking one out and changing clothes and they were none the wiser.

When you actually made it to Onigashima - things didn’t get any easier. You thought it would for a moment, only to find out there was some kind of huge fight going on. Well, shit. Now what were you supposed to do? You ended up getting swept into a crowd of rushing people heading into the castle. Well shit, that’s the opposite of what you wanted. You wanted the outside not the inside.

You eventually broke away from the crowd, grumbling as you did so. You straightened yourself out, heading towards the place where you had entered from only to suddenly feel the entire place begin to quake. You lost your footing, crashing to the ground as did a lot of other people. Shouting began and everyone started looking around.

Once the ground stopped shaking, you stood up, heading over to the nearest window. “Are we in the fucking air?” you mumbled to yourself. That was absolutely insane. What was Kaido’s plan with this one? Actually, you still weren’t even sure what the hell was going on. As far as you know a fight broke out during a party and that’s it. You had no idea who was involved or why it was happening.

“I can’t believe it either.” You looked over, seeing another Beast Pirate. “I don’t know if you’ve heard, but apparently the Strawhats, the Kid Pirates, and the Heart Pirates are all here trying to take down Kaido and Big Mom, so get ready for a lot of fighting.” You stared at him. “Huh?”

“Good luck, soldier,” he called as he ran off.

You just stared after him. “He’s going after another fucking yonko?” you yelled to no one in particular. With all the commotion, no one really noticed anyway. You took off your helmet for a moment, running a hand through your hair. This was absolutely ridiculous. What the hell was Eustass thinking?

Well, at least that answered the question of where he was. It was only a matter of finding him now. At this point, you forgot about what you had originally come here for. Your only goal now was to find Eustass and demand to know what’s going on…or at least know he’s okay. You still couldn’t believe he was targeting a yonko. Was he trying to lose another arm?

With a dramatic sigh, you started to navigate the halls. Fights were broken out left and right. You did your best to stay out of all of them. You didn’t particularly care one way or another how they would end up. None of this was any of your business…well…if you rejoined your own crew then you supposed it was.

Ugh, you’d figure out the details later. You really needed to stop overthinking things - it was giving you a headache.

During your search, you stopped dead in your tracks as you saw a familiar tuft of red hair. A large smile spread across your face as you honed in on what you saw. There he fucking was - your brother. Eustass fucking Kid. And, as always, Killer wasn’t far from him. You felt a heat creep onto your cheeks as you looked at the man you’ve had a crush on since childhood. Did he get bigger? Motherfucker yoked up. Your brother too. Damn, what the fuck did they do when you were gone? Take steroids? Damn.

Your heart was pounding in your ears with excitement. So much excitement, in fact, that you didn’t exactly notice the state they were in. Now that the initial shock of seeing them had passed, you noticed the rough shape the both of them were in. You had something that could fix that - you just had to get to them first.

You moved quick, taking your enemies out one by one in rapid succession. Soon enough, all that was standing in your way was Eustass and Killer. “What are you doing?” One of the fallen pirates asked in a strained voice. “Are you betraying us?” You just looked down at him, licking your teeth. You looked back to the two in front of you, tossing them what looked like some kind of protein bars.

“Eat those,” you said.

Eustass just glared at you. “Why the fuck would I listen to someone who just killed their own men?” he demanded. You blinked, confused on why he didn’t recognize you. Then it dawned on you. The helmet covering your face. Right. Plus, what were the odds you’d be here anyway? You were about to take your helmet off when you noticed someone creeping up on your brother.

With a sigh, you threw one of your daggers, flying right past Eustass’ head and straight into the skull of the man behind him. “You really need to be aware of your surroundings, Tungsten,” you said with a dramatic sigh.

His eyes widened in disbelief and his whole body went rigid as the nickname left your mouth. You took off your helmet, tossing it to the side. “Ugh, that thing was awful.” Honestly, you didn’t know why you wore it as long as you did. Maybe to make people leave you alone? You weren’t sure at this point.

“What?” Your brother’s voice was soft, full of disbelief. You looked at Eustass, confused. “Is that all you gotta say to me?” Though, with the look on his face, you could tell that he was still dumbfounded. He definitely couldn’t believe his eyes. “What? You think I was dead?” You snorted.

“Like I said, eat those bars. It’ll take a couple of minutes, but you’ll completely recover. However, it’s the only one you’ll be able to have today so make it count, yeah?” It was something you had developed while you were on the island. Medicines were your specialty, after all.

They looked at each other before looking back at you. “Bigs?” You looked at him and nodded slowly. “...Yes? Are you still on that?” Now that you thought about it, Eustass did look pale. As if he had seen a ghost. He slowly stepped towards you before taking you in his arms and holding you tightly. “Uh…Tungsten?” you asked, patting his back. “As much as I love you and love your affection, I can’t help but feel like I’m missing something.”

“Kese said you died.” You froze at the mention of his name as your own mind started to spin. “H-He what?” You pulled away from Eustass, looking at him. You searched for a lie in his face, but there was none. There was, however, a lot of emotion that he was holding back. Probably holding it together because you were in public and somewhat in the middle of a war.

You blinked, looking from him, to Killer who hadn’t even moved so much of an inch or said anything, back to Eustass. You shook your head.

“This is something we can process and go over later,” you said, knowing you needed to move things along. “I’m well and alive, obviously. I’m just here originally for a mission for the labs, but it seems like there’s a lot of unsettled business I’ll need to attend to. So.”

You look at them, stepping back and putting your hands on your hips. Once more, you were taking your authority as an older sibling. “This is the plan, yeah?” They nodded, looking at you, ready to listen. “You two are going to eat those bars and do whatever it is you need to do. I’m going to finish my own side mission that I was sent on. This is all gonna end and we’re gonna meet up later, alright?” They nodded again, opening their bars.

“And none of us are going to die, got it?” You had a firmer tone this time and again, they nodded. You could tell they were still absolutely floored that you were before them. Why would Kese tell them that you died? What the hell was his angle at this point? Why did he want you out of the picture so damn bad? You didn’t even fucking know the guy.

You could figure all that out later, right now you had shit to do. You smiled at the both of them. “Alright. We have a plan, now quit standing there like a couple of idiots and get going.” With that, you winked and hightailed it out of there.

Oh boy is this long overdue. Ahoy Doe, I finally finished this request! I hope you don't mind me using the scenario for Whumptober, and please enjoy the story ^-^

Whumptober Day 28

Katakuri x Reader

"What do you mean [Y/n]'s gone?"

The guards paled as a heavy aura from Katakuri engulfed them. They haven't even had the chance to inform him about the situation, yet his fury is emitting and leaving the servants terrified under his gaze. His brows narrowed when he received no response, he reached down and picked up one of the servants.

"Who took [Y/n]?" Katakuri inquired, his voice hinting at his intention of seeking vengeance. However, he never let the servant speak and dropped him when he got his answer. "Gather a fleet, I'm going to save [Y/n], and we're going to erase those pirates."

You kept your glare on the pirates outside your cage, wishing you could burn holes through their skulls. They were snickering amongst themselves over a game of cards, telling themselves what a good idea it was to take you hostage for ransom. They really don't know the forces they were messing with, do they? You weren't able to point out their mistake yet when one of their men open the cabin's door.

"Captain, there's a small ship in the distance," he reported as he held the door wide open.

"Seems like your buyers are here," the captain smirked at you.

"You're fools if you think Big Mom would pay you your demands," you stated. The man laughed in response, only stopping when he looked back at your glaring eyes.

"That's what you believe," he grinned crouching down in front of your cage. "But we're going to be the ones rolling in gold."

"Uh captain," the lookout nervously called down to the deck.

"What is it now?" The man questioned with annoyance growling in his tone.

"It's a fleet of ships- a fleet of ships from Big Mom!" The subordinate warned, pointing toward the rear of the ship.

The captain dropped the heavy sack he carried and dashed to the back of the ship. Sure enough, the massive fleet was tailing them, and the small ship had already left. He growled and gripped the rail as his gaze landed on the sweet general leading the army, Katakuri.

Having the enemy in sight, Katakuri turned his head to address the crew. "Don't fire cannons just yet, I want [Y/n] safe in my possession first. Kill the enemies who resist and hold the others hostage, wait for my order to eliminate them," Katakuri instructed, receiving salutes in response. Looking back at the tiny vessel, he gripped his fist. "Just hang in there, [Y/n]. I'll make them pay!'

Ringing his arm behind his head, Katakuri threw the first attack, extending his mochi arm and taking out the enemy's mast. They slowed down while their sails sunk to the bottom of the ocean, letting the fleet surround them and board. The events turned into a massacre rather than a fight as the Charlottes painted the deck in blood, Katakuri dealing out the brutal fatalities to each pirate he faced.

Heading down to the cabins, Katakuri tore anything that stood in his way of getting to you. Heads, doors, planks, they were all scattered in his search. Reaching the end of the hall and tearing open the last door, Katakuri found himself in a room full of chests and cages, and in the corner stood the enemy captain, frozen in place. Katakuri's eyes glowed red and he sent a punch at the man, immobilizing him in mochi.

"Where's [Y/n]?" Katakuri demanded the whereabouts.

The captain gave him a smirk and a glow from Katakuri's eyes made him step back. The Charlotte glanced at the empty cage with a torn piece of your sleeve left behind. With widened eyes, he ran out of the room and onto the deck. Going to the front of the ship, trying to find any traces of the small ship, Katakuri could only see his family's ships on the horizon as the unspoken words of the pirate taunted his mind.

"I already sold her off."

Nami knew she had gotten under Law’s skin, she didn’t even need to look back to know the look he had was priceless. Nami and Robin both knew the boys were crushing hard, even Luffy. She even considered you a girl crush. The lingering stares they all had when you walked by, no matter who it was they couldn’t keep their eyes off of you.

I guess it was because you were so very different in every way. You were an alien to them. A beautiful and charming being that was gifted to them from the man above. You wanting to leave them broke their hearts, you were like their last missing puzzle piece.

Nami sat back down with the minks enjoying the rest of the night while Law decided it was best to make his way to you, you’d been gone for fifteen minutes now.

Zoro had laughed so hard there were now tears in his eyes. You couldn’t help but bite your lip to keep yourself from smirking. Zoro was a sight for sore eyes even though he didn’t acknowledge it.

“ Y/N you always surprise me. That’s why I like you” he said wiping a stray tear from his eye.

“ Well it is the truth… any answer I give you won’t satisfy you or the crew”

“ And why is that?”

“ I don’t think I need anything else unfortunate to happen in my life”

Although his laughed died down he still held a smile to his face making you want to look away. Why is anything amusing in the first place? He’s acting as if he didn’t put you in a choke hold when you first got back to the ship.

“ Y/N… I know you’re angry and you’re trying to hide it. And I’m sorry for what I did to you”

“ Ok, I don’t forgive you”

“ That’s fine, I’ll give you time to forgive me and I’ll do anything for you to feel comfortable around me like you did before…”

He was much closer now, you could feel your heart racing as he towered over you so easily. You wanted to back away but you were stuck in place like the soles of your feet were nailed to the ground.

“ I had something else to say as well..”

“ Hurry up”

“ Trafalgar… you and him-”

“ There is no me and him. Law and I are friends why do all of you keep asking me stupid questions ! ”

He reached out and tilted your face towards him. As he got closer you had to look away— look anywhere else he was even more intimidating to be alone with. He was holding your chin and starring into you like he was searching your eyes for the truth.

“ I though Luffy told you.. you were a bad liar?”

“ I-”

Right then the door opened and you felt like you could breathe again. It was Law and he frowned as he seen the awkward scene in front of him. You walked towards him and grabbed his arm leading him back to your seats of safety.

“ Y/N we were talking”

“ I’m tired of speaking about the same thing Zoro”

Zoro gripped his swords and a vein popped out of his neck. You just walk away from someone when you’re speaking? You just walk away from someone soon as you see Law now?

“ What was he talking about?”

“ Oh you know, about US and trying to ask if I knew I was drugged. The regular ”

He gave you a sad smile, you were clearly upset and they were just adding fire to the fuel. You were too kind and so patient, he could only imagine what this would’ve been like if he hadn’t been here. Your situation remind him of when him and Corazon were together and it just made him more determined to help you.

The rest of the night you both stayed together and you were finally able to relax. You’d be on Zou for another day and a half then you’d be with the Heart Pirates until you got home. With both of your knowledge of how the next arch would go the Strawhats would have to let you go with him.

Why would they send someone like you to Big Mom’s territory? The party went on the rest of the night and Law brought up what Nami told him earlier.

“ Nami said something earlier tonight that really shook me”

You tilted your head waiting for him to continue.

“ She said I should snatch you up before someone else does.. what do you think of that?”

Your cheeks burned again, and you couldn’t help but laugh.

Is this his way of asking me out?

“ So what should we do…”

“ I think… well… what do you want to do actually?”

“ huh… w-well maybe… maybe we should?”

You two were both blushing at this point. You both admired each other greatly. You from watching him on the show and him from getting to know you throughout the time you’ve spent together. He cleared his throat awkwardly before resuming your awkward conversation. “ I don’t mind it— plus this could also help you”

The sun was beginning to rise and you fell asleep in his lap. Law watched your chest rise and fall and a foreign feeling rose in his chest making a lump form in his throat. He’d never taken the time to really be in a relationship with anyone, just like majority of the male characters he was too focused on his goals. But being in one with you— even if it was temporary, felt nice.

Everyone else was passed out on the floor and the fire went out, this would be the perfect time for the two of you to sneak away. He shook you softly till you started to stir and you cracked open your eyes to see the sunrise illuminating his skin.

Oh right… we’re together now.

With that being your first thought you wanted to shy away from him even though you were in his lap. This was a relationship of convenience of course so you didn’t want to make him uncomfortable by starring at him like a love struck puppy.

“ I think we have some time before they wake up to meet with the crew. What do you think?”

You nodded and stood up stretching before walking towards the direction of the camp. The birds were chirping and it seemed to be such a nice morning, as the two of you walked you were making casual conversation and it really felt like the two of you were together.

Just the thought made your brain feel all fuzzy, Trafalgar Law is my boyfriend… how silly would that sound to anyone where I’m from.

“ Luffy ”

“ LUFFY !” The captain woke up confused and startled. Nami was hovering over him angrily shaking him awake.

“ Nami leave me alone we were up all night”

“ Aw really? Well Law and Y/N are missing so I think you should get up” She snarled.

That was definitely something that made him shoot up and almost bump into the angry woman in front of him.

“ Y/N and Traffy… are missing?”

She nodded and pointed to where the two of you sat the entire night. The two of you were gone who knows where and anger bubbled inside of him. That was it, he had enough of you two being so close together. You were lying to him and the crew and he knew you were scheming— this confirmed it.

“ Get the rest of the crew! We are going to find out what exactly is going on with them today”

Mermaid in the Water, Angel On The Beach: Ariel x Reader x Eric

You and Eric had been best friends for almost half of your lives and you may have a small crush on him, but there was one thing he didn't know about you was that you were half mermaid. See you were born under unique circumstances, Your mom a mermaid had mated with a human man who was a pirate that she had fallen in love with and thus you were created, and gave you the ability to walk on land as a human but if you went into water, you would grow a tail and have all your mermaid abilities.

"Alright, what's going on with you? You've got a dreamy look in your eye." You asked Eric.

"You'll think I'm crazy." He said.

"Try me after all I'm your best friend." You said to him.

"So when I woke up on shore, I swore I saw a girl leaning over me, and her voice gosh that voice, it's stuck in my head, like a melody." He said.

"I'm sure you'll find her. She has to be around here somewhere." You said sadly as you wished that it was you.

It was a few days later and you had been walking around the castle looking for Eric when you saw him and a girl a beautiful girl at that, that you'd never seen before making you wonder if this was the girl he had told you about.

"Y/n, this is Ariel. Ariel this is my friend y/n." He said as you two looked at each other.

"It's so lovely to meet you, Ariel." You said shaking her hand confused when she didn't answer you making you look at Eric.

"She can't talk, we found her washed up on the shore." He said as you nodded your head.

"Even if you can't talk, I'm sure we will get along just fine." You said smiling at her as she did the same to you.

The more time you spent together, the more you started to fall for her which was hard because you did like Eric a lot and kinda felt like you were moving in on his girl but how could you not, she was so beautiful and had so much wonder about her and could speak without actually speaking.

Ariel was in the same boat as you, she had originally come on land to be with Eric but from the moment she met you, she found herself falling for you. You were different from Eric in some ways but you both loved the ocean and the unknown and you always made sure she felt included which mean spending time with her when Eric was busy. Now she felt even more torn on who her true love was because she had felt herself falling for both of you and she felt even more conflicted and could tell you liked Eric as well.

So imagine both of ya'lls confusion and everyone else's when he came forward with a new woman he was going to marry. You noticed how Eric didn't seem like his usual self with this girl, so you walked over to admire her necklace which irritated her.

"Can you stop?" She asked you getting annoyed.

"I'm just admiring the quality." You said pulling it a little hard and making it fall to the ground with an oops.

You watched as the necklace broke and the orb flew over to Ariel and into her mouth as she started to sing as Eric ran over to her.

"Eric there's so much I need to tell you and y/n!" She said.

"You are too late!" Vanessa shouted as a tail grew where Ariel's legs were making you and everyone shocked.

"Too late red!" Ursula said taking off with Ariel into the sea.

"Ariel!" You said jumping in after her as Eric followed you on his boat.

Eric and Ariel were both in shock seeing you with a tail, as you guys fought Ursla together. Between the three of you, you were able to defeat her and rescue Eric and her dad who in turned gave Ariel her legs once he saw how happy she was with you two.

"I know you have questions, but let me explain first." You said nervously making your way to land.

"My mother was a mermaid like Ariel and she fell in love with a human pirate who used to travel these very waters and they ended up mating and thus me a human-mermaid hybrid which means I can walk on land and be human like you Eric but if I go in the water, I turn back into a mermaid-like you Ariel." You said.

"Wait you're the hybrid? My sisters used to tell me stories of you." Ariel asked shocked.

"Yes. After my mother died, I went to live with my dad for my protection and that's how I ended up meaning Eric and I never really had a reason to go back into the water. I'm sorry I never told you guys, especially you Eric." You said to them.

"It's alright y/n. I understand why you did, why you both did it, but I must admit to you guys something. I love you both and don't want to have to choose between you two." He said looking at you two sadly.

"I mean I feel the same way, and I'd be open to being in a relationship with both of you." You said looking at both of them.

"I would love that as well to be with the two people in this world I love the most." She said squeezing ya'lls hands.

And so it was set, the three of you aka the prince and his two mermaids got married and lived happily ever after exploring the unknown and living on the water.

She woke up the next morning, and it was so peaceful. She didn’t have to worry about Hawkmoth, she didn’t have to worry what her classmates thought of her. That just gave her so much freedom in fact she smiled, taking a breath of air for the first time in what seemed like years.

She bounced downstairs, earlier than her normal on a Saturday morning.

"some one is in good spirits today." Her Maman smiled as she came into the kitchen.

"Of course I am!" She tackled her mom in a hug.

"Did something happen at school?" Her Maman hugged her back. A second later her face turned somber, knowingly she asked. "Did Lila do something?... Alya?"

"Yes and no. I'll tell you and Papa at dinner."

"Okay Baio Bai." She flicked her on the nose. "For now help me get your father to eat something." She held a tray of berries, yogurt, granola, and coffee up for her to take down.

"Well isn’t this a surprise." Her papa smiled as she walked in to the bakery kitchen.

"Well it’s too nice to be crammed in my room." She offered.

"So what did your mother send?" He clapped his hands as flour clouded in the kitchen.

"A few staples." She started mixing granola into the yogurt, and tossing in a few of her papa’s favorite berries, before handing him the bowl.

"Any plans princess?"

"Don’t know." She shrugged. "Maybe walk around and sketch. I was also thinking about dropping by the Couffaine’s."

"Does he treat you right?"

"Papa!!" She blushed, covering her face with her hands. "He’s a good friend, nothing else."

She finally muttered when she found her voice again.

"He is a good kid Mari. Besides if he doesn’t he has to go through me."

She could only laugh before excusing herself.

She never thought of it before, never let herself truly think she could be in a relationship, but…

Luka knows who she is, was, damn that punched her in the gut. But he knows, and she made sure he was the only one that actually remembered that particular secret of hers. Sass had even been with him until a week ago, but could she actually let herself say it to him.

Without realizing she was coming up on the dock.

"How are ya lassie, come aboard." She heard Mdm. Couffaine call out to her.

"Thank you. How have you been?" She asked easily to the sweet pirate of a woman.

"All is good. He’s down in his cabin."

"Thank you." She walked down and approached the door, strums of a guitar floated through the hall. She lifted a hand up to knock, but the door swung open. She hadn’t noticed it had stopped.

"Marinette."

"Luka…" The words died in her throat, her eyes began to sting.

"It’s okay, my melody."

Yes she was relieved that everything was over but that couldn’t last. She lost her best friend, Tikki had become such a huge piece of her and now she was gone. She guarded the kwamii, learned what made each one special. Barkk's loyalty and obsession with the knight's order. Wayzz's fondness of the other's antics and his calmness. She finally let her emotions rage through her without fearing repercussions.

"Marinette!" Luka’s usual calm melted into panic as she broke down.

"It's..." She choked on her words, everything from the night before crashed against her closed eyes.

Luka started to hum, pulling her into a hug. His steady heartbeat combined with his peaceful humming calmed some small part of her. "He's gone." He leaned back, a silent question in his gaze, 'who'. "Hawkmoth." She whispered before emotion overtook her once again.

They stayed like that for a while. Luka didn't pry, didn't try to stop her from feeling everything. At some point they ended up sitting on the bed, Luka started playing his guitar.

"You know you don't have to tell me." Luka finally spoke, not missing a note. "But if you want to I'll listen."

"I..." She pursed her lips, she was about to say more when the door swung open.

"Oh!" Juleka stood in the door, surprised to see the two of them. Her emotions then schooled themselves, ignoring Marinette, and turned towards Luka. "Everyone's here." The quiet girl turned and left.

"Come on." Luka extended his hand. "You need a distraction."

She took it and let him pull her through the house boat. There on the deck was almost half the class. Kitty Section (which included Rose, Ivan, and Juleka), Mylene, Adrien, Alix, Alya and Nino who were sitting next to Lila. Everyone turned and once they saw her scowled.

"Why are you here?" Alex voiced what everyone must have been thinking,

"Well... I..." she didn't know why, just that it felt right, even as Luka dragged her on the stage.

"Come on, just try." Luka placed the microphone in her hand as he plugged his guitar into the amp.

"But I don't..." She bit her lip unsure. Luka started strumming the song only he could hear. She just had to put lyrics to it. "Okay."

She let every thing pour int her words. Her sadness, joy, anger, everything she attempted and failed to tell Luka. Her eyes steeled as she became more confident with every note. Her first target was Alya.

'Hate to give the satisfaction, asking how you're doing now

How's the castle built off people you pretend to care about?

Just what you wanted

Her eyes turned and caught Adrien's as the words formed in her mind mere moments before they crossed her lips.

Without hesitating she stared at Lila.

She took a short breath before continuing.. now catching Nino's attention.

Her eyes swept her 'friends' before landing on Alix.

As she began the chorus again she closed her eyes and stepped back, furthering herself from those on the deck.

She picked up the pace and tried to catch everyone's eyes, but they seemed to be avoiding her gaze.

She took a gulp of air, now standing next to Luka. His, and everyone's, attention on her as he continued before cutting abruptly. "Better?"

she never thought it would actually be so releiving, but it was. she giggled at thats, a light smile entwined in the laughter. Such a contrast to what had come out of her heart seconds ago. "Yeah. So much fucking better."

He smiled at her, a small grin, but his eyes were bright, knowing. Her heart skipped as she felt her cheeks heat up.

"Gurl! You can't just show up and diss us like nothing!" Alya shouted nearly jumping up at her.

"Good thing I didn't plan it." she grumbled at the bespekled girl.

"Bull!" Alix jumped in. "We all heard that."

"Then consider it my good bye." She replaced the microphone and started down the steps. Luka catching up to her, he took her hand and their fingers intertwined, almost like second nature.

"Don't." Juleka grabbed Luka's shoulder turning him, and her in turn. "Please." She pleaded.

"I'm dissapointed." He took a step back and

squeezed her hand. "In all of you."

He pulled her and they walked off the boat.

"They're gone." she breathed after they walked a mile or two through the city,

"Hawkmoth?" He asked.

"Yes. But..." she finally stopped. "I released them."

"Who?"

"The kwamii." Her gaze was solely on her shoes and the pavement below.

"Oh." He lifted her chin. "Are you okay with that?"

She spilled. Everything that happend the night before. Everything that led up to her outburst yesterday and earlier. All the things she avoided telling him before. Once she finished she watched his reaction, hoping he wouldn't hate her, hoping that he could forgive her. Because she is why he will never see Sass again, never getting to be a hero again.

"Are they happy?"

The question caught her off guard. "I think so."

"Then you did the right thing."

she rose up on her toes and placed a small kiss on his cheek. "Thank you,"

A flash of teal exploded in front of her, but it lasted only a second when it was gone she was about to ask what happened, but the questioned died on her lips. There on Luka's wrist sat the miraculous of the snake.

"I guess they are still watching out for us."

"They said as much." She smiled, before adding. "They also said if I needed their power they'd lend it."

"Let's not test it so soon." He pressed a kiss to her forehead before they started walking again. "So Gotham."
