I don’t have a good feeling about Celia

I tried to post this earlier but it got deleted so fuck

But from so many standpoints she just irks me

-She has the same character archetype as Alice. Many have pointed out their similarities and while this by itself isn’t much (as is everything on this list) with everything else it makes me weirded out

-She just came out of the blue. We had no warning in the episodes before no build up. We were introduced to the concept she was coming and then she came with little fanfare.

-Her introduction to the rest of the cast is a lot different than Sam’s. A lot understated. Maybe Jonny and Alex just didn’t want to do the same thing again but it felt really rushed and weird.

-I cannot see how she can possibly contribute to the plot in any meaningful way if she is just another victim coworker. She was introduced too late to have her death feel like anything but fridging (when you make a character just to kill them for momentary character drama), once again she shares a character archetype with Alice so the only thing that they could give Celia could be given to Alice perfectly fine, and she once again feels forced

-Celia was also too comfortable too quick for me. She just instantly trusted none of her coworkers would report her for talking shit about their boss. She seemed too genuine about everything even though she was in a completely new environment. And she was just so laid back with everything, like sure she might not know the full scale of things but she seems like she’s been their for as long as anyone can remember (something that might be due to the fact I associate this trait with Alice who has been there a long time)

-idk if I’m reaching or going crazy with this one but Alice seemed off. She moreso just said “I’m Alice” and and Aliced all over the place. But as soon as Celia left she said ‘yeah’ sorta suspiciously? Maybe I’m crazy. Then she’s back to herself replying to Gwen, who we can assume is only less interested in what Celia has to say due to the situation she’s found herself in during ep 4 was it? with Lena. The only time we really get to know her thoughts about Celia when she isn’t in front of her is when she’s bugging Sam about his crush on her, and also literally all conversation she has with Celia she also has with Sam and shifts the conversation (aside from just meeting Celia) to Sam (imo). The only time we get her opinions on Celia away from other characters is the little ‘yeah’.

-We don’t see Colin’s reaction to Celia either, which would mark the third episode in a row where Colin is only mentioned (to my knowledge). Though we don’t have any mention that he’s been hostile to her. The only characters that truly talk to her and that we can see their reactions to her are Alice and Sam. One who I’m convinced is suspicious of her and the other who’s ’in love’ with her (I was completely caught off guard by this due to not even thinking about any of that in the very beginnings of a horror podcast, I’m autistic and demiromantic, and because I was half listening the first time I listened. I sense it more but it still feels like a stretch to me before Alice mentions it though makes a lot of sense due to Sam’s reaction to her mentioning it)

-I feel like I’d be amiss to not mention the fact this is the episode we truly have an Avatar in it. Needles is the first avatar we tma enjoyers know as an avatar (in Norris’s statement in ep1 we have the maybe scammer but it’s unclear weather that’s an Avatar, someone being possessed, or something else entirely). Thematically, this would be a great way to establish a connection with Avatar and Celia. She was introduced exactly when Avatars were. Also the episode name could also be a reference to the fact we are having our “introductions” to Avatars thought this episode, but that’s unrelated.

-People has also pointed out Celia is in Tma, same name and same voice actress (so no Michael situation or helen and Mel’s therapist situation [I think I remember them having the same voice actress and that being a problem] here). Although I don’t know what the could mean but that’s actually the reason I decided to rewrite this mini-notsomini-rant.

I could be wrong about all of this and am prepared to be wrong but still, needed to get this out there.

APHMAU SHALASHASKA

- aphmau shows up at phoenix drop’s doorstep pretty much half dead. no one knows where she came from, and upon waking up she doesn't remember who she is, where she's from, nothing.

- vylad carried her here because he knew that garroth was stationed in phoenix drop and he knew that the village was in dire need of help due to it being lordless; however it doesnt get revealed until way later.

- aphmau gets carried into the guard station which is where she resides for a period of time. zoey, who was visiting phoenix drop at the time (she was a wandering 'merchant' of sorts, looking for a permanent place to stay) feels a weird presence coming from her, not magical but also not normal, and decides to prolong her stay, healing aphmau back to health with garroth's supervision.

- aphmau wakes up and is sooo grateful they took care of her and decides that as payment she’s going to help make this mess of a village better (also she has no memory of anything that happened prior or why she ended up here anyway, so it’s not like she has anywhere else to go.)

- so she fixes up the roads and helps remodel some of the houses (i feel like this version of aphmau is much less princess-like and more handy than canon aph) garroth is very grateful for this

- anyway uh i dont actually have a lot of stuff for her since i find aphmau to be somewhat bland?? ig thats bc aph is meant to be jess for the majority of s1 but yeah uhh that needs to change. this aphmau is more rough around the edges, not afraid to fend for herself and those she cares for, but also very kind and compassionate. also very bubbly at times, but around those she trusts. she’s actually kind of against the idea of having guards follow her around all the time when she first becomes lord (because she believes she can do everything on her own), but later realizes that its much better to have backup bc the world is dangerous tm

- anywayz she grows closer to zoey when she moves into her house. she finds her presence weird at first but quickly gets used to her company, and she finds that waking up to the smell of tea everyday is soothing

- she is often sent out to the woods to gather whatever herbs zoey needs for her magicks. this quickly turns into aphmau trying to find pretty flowers to bring back to her pretty wife as a gesture of love friendship. sometimes she gets scolded bc she unknowingly brings back poisonous flowers or something but zoey knows that she does it with the best of intentions and thinks its kinda cute in a way.

- also aphmau brings back zoey pretty items from her travels, usually rings, necklaces, or even pretty rocks. zoey keeps them all in her room and looks at them while working on magicks stuff

- sorta angsty but i feel like aphmau definitely feels guilty for being absent for most of levin and malachi’s childhood. way in the future i feel like she and zoey would either adopt or have a biological kid of their own that they can both be present for, now that aphmau is no longer a lord and zoey is just enjoying her last lifetime with her beloved wife.

- OH AND i find it funny that they end up together since, at least in my canon, irene and zoey were a thing way back when. so like after irene left this plane or whatever and reincarnated as aphmau its like zoey and irene found themselves again in another lifetime (more on that in zoey’s section, which i actually wrote first)

- god i really don’t have much to say abt aph lol uh she’s bisexual (fem leaning, which is why she doesn’t rlly feel anything for garroth or laurence but does get flustered around guys sometimes) and demiromantic (takes a WHILE for her to feel any romantic attraction. again its why she doesn’t feel anything for G and L LMAO)

ZOEY TALTATHEIL

- was a devout follower and close friend of irene 900 years ago. zoey, although she wasn’t part of the divine warriors, was irene’s right hand woman, and would help her with decisions etc etc.

- she was kind of like a guard but not really lol. i do feel as though she began to mess around with barrier magicks as a way to protect irene, despite the fact that it got her exhiled from her home. she’d do anything to protect her.

- they were overall very close, but due to circumstances tm they had to separate. they never saw each other again sadly

- (although there are some books written by scholars that state that at some point lady irene had a certain lady friend who she lived with and shared intimate moments with. wonder who that is :P)

- ((also irene did have a family at some point, and levin is of her bloodline. he has blonde hair and blue eyes, guess who else has blonde hair and blue eyes? garroth ZOEY (and yes also garroth but thats a coincidence imo) so i think they are at least distantly related but very much so regardless))

- enough about irene. in zoey’s long 900~ year life she’s travelled to many regions, learned about many different cultures, and met many people, some who she did settle down with at some point. due to her immortality, however, she outlived all her previous partners and since then has been afraid to settle down with anyone, afraid of losing them to time

- it wasn’t until she met aphmau and levin (and later malachi) that she began to change her mind. she began to raise her children when she was away on lord duties, and she got VERY attached to them. she treated them as her own, and soon became accustomed to the idea of having a family

- she also began to see aphmau in a more romantic light at some point during s1. she didn’t know when the change from platonic to romantic feelings began but it didn’t matter. what mattered was that she had been raising another woman’s children as though they were her very own, cooking for the 4 of them like a happy family, and literally living the life she had always wanted without even realizing it.

- anyways she sleeps with aphmau in her room despite having her own room. she uses her room more as a workspace for her magicks

- also (and this is less about zoey and more about elves in general) i feel as though elves start out with dark colored hair and with the years it slowly lightens up until it’s completely white (doesn’t matter what color; zoey’s just happened to be blonde which is why she has platinum blonde hair pre-timeskip. it obviously doesn’t change this fast, but zoey giving up her immortality did speed up the process by a LOT which is why the change was so drastic in such a small amount of time (for an elf))

- speaking of her immortality, i feel as though it was the main reason that drove her to, you know, actually become a thing with aphmau. they were practically married pre-timeskip but they never really mentioned it, both scared they’d ruin what they had. aphmau being trapped in the irene dimension was the thing that drove her to spend years of her life studying, trying to get her closest friend, no, her lover back; losing her immortality was the final push to make it official. losing her immortality mean that they’d both pass within each other’s lifetimes, which is something zoey had always wanted (that sounds morbid but imagine being immortal and outliving all your loved ones.. i feel as though one can only take so much pain before it turns you crazy)

- anyways enough angst. since zoey has lived so long and has been all over the place, she has countless stories to tell and levin and malachi always loved hearing them. post-timeskip she tells the same stories to the children of phoenix drop in her spare time. she loves being around children and overall just loves caring for ppl ^__^

- as for like sexuality hcs uhh i can’t imagine her as anything but a lesbian lol

Okay so, concerning Evan and Barty’s sexualities, I have my own things that i think very solidly for like… no reason. And ofc y’all are complete free to disagree with me, this is just what i think personally.

But yeah, Evan, I feel, doesn’t really know and doesn’t really care exactly what label he falls under. If he had to pick one, he’d probably pick omnisexual, but he doesn’t really care all that much about labeling it. Even if he is mostly only drawn to guys, he doesn’t really like the term gay bc he doesn’t just like guys. It’s just kind of a coincidence that it’s turned out that way so far. And it depends on what mood i’m in, but he’s usually somewhere on the asexuality scale to me—it just sometimes changes where he is, you know? Sometimes, to me, he demisexual, sometimes he’s asexual, sometimes he’s not either of those. But either way, he doesn’t spend too much time on it, to me. Once he figured it out, he was like “okay, that’s me, that’s who i am, if i like someone then i like someone and i don’t owe it to anyone to explain why or how.”

And then there’s Barty, who, if asked, would say he’s some form of bisexual. But like Evan, he doesn’t *really* care. He likes who he likes, and it’s a simple as that for him. And he doesn’t really have much of a preference, he likes to think that he’s an “equal opportunity” sort of guy. And sometimes i like to headcannon him as demiromantic, which becomes a really interesting dynamic when it’s him (demiromantic) and Evan (demisexual) trying to navigate a relationship together.

So anyways, those are my personal headcanons on their sexualities, but ofc that’s just my thoughts :)

i love drawing/writing and creating things in general. I tend to hyperfixate quite easily on things accidentally.

I play the violin quite often and I take a martial arts class :)

My favorite color is purple and black and some things i like to do in my free time is just binge watch things or read books. I tend to be quite stubborn on things and don't change my opinion easily this and I also tend to be quite hot-headed at times. I also like listening to music. My friends also say that I'm kinda intimidating from far away but once you get to know me they feel embarrassed that they ever thought i was so :D

Takes some Kite headcanons because I love him to much and he's all I think about anymore and he deserves more love, I tried to keep this as gender neutral as I could!! Most of it is just kinda rants about what I think he'd be like and shit, but yeah

Name: Velrith. No surname as of yet (& that's not some hint at any future matrimonial plans--finding a first name she felt comfortable taking on was already a feat in itself) but if it ever becomes an issue, she can address it at that time. She hasn't yet arrived at that bridge, though, and can't really forsee it being a problem any time soon.

Nickname(s): None, really. Technically, you could probably file Astarion's rolodex of endearments under this category, but she always had the impression those were more a result of his pre-existing speech patterns. (They were also very helpful in her nameless interim--Darling and Dearest sound much kinder than Hey, you there or Paladin.) She likes to her the petnames, though. They're mostly sweet, barring the Bhaal-themed variety she's expressed open disdain for ("If this is your attempt at reassurance and comfort, it's failing. Painfully so."). She likes the ones with a slight possessive ring to them--my love, my sweet, etc. It's an active reminder that she's still being chosen, despite her baggage.

As of now, she's never been given a nickname, and it's to her understanding that you aren't supposed to give yourself one--they come from your friends. She doesn't expect this, mostly because her chosen name is already on the short side with two syllables, but if anyone ever did decide to give her one, she would be genuinely touched by the gesture. Seemingly meaningless or "normal" acts of affection are things she can't help but take seriously, after all.

Pronouns: She/Her, but more in the sense that she accepts the designation by strangers & never actually put more thought into it past that. if pressed, she would probably admit to not feeling any particular kinship with masculinity, despite not really meeting the definition for feminine on paper either.

Star Sign: Whatever the in-universe equivalent of Capricorn sun/Virgo moon/Cancer rising is. Pragmatic, methodical outer shell, , perceptive, soft & sensitive inside.

Height: Average-ish at around 5"6. People tend to read her as taller thanks to a combination of horns and the most rigidly perfect posture the Sword Coast as ever seen.

Orientation: Again, not something she's put much thought into. Based on behaviours, she's likely demiromantic with a generally open attitude towards sex.

Race: Levistus Tiefling Bhaalspawn

Romancing: Astarion. You know those couples that have the vibe of "thank god you two found each other because neither of you should break containment into the general public"? Yeah. Turns out, there's a lot of compatibility to be found in someone else who is also deeply, deeply fucking weird. (Note: neither party is actually aware of the extent of this, and that's important to the emotional ecosystem.)

Fave Fruit: Pomegranates. This isn't a hidden symbolism thing, she just... really loves them. They're not too sweet, the seeds are pleasingly compact, and it's a pretty colour on top of everything. The first time she had pomegranate seeds, it was in Baldur's Gate. They were pre-opened and already in a bowl, which is the ideal way to enjoy a pomegranate. The second time was her attempt at opening the fruit itself, which is usually an ordeal at the best of times. She got at the seeds eventually, but not after looking like she'd witnessed a small massacre first.

(The third attempt featured a guest appearance by an agitated Astarion, who, despite scarcely thinking of her as a friend at the time, did not have the patience or self-control to sit quietly and watch someone be that terrible at opening a fruit. Armed with a knife & righteous irritation, the pomegranate was flayed open into a star-shape and dropped back into her hand before she could say anything. This was not an act of kindness; if he had to watch her perform the same hack job on it again, he was going to start throwing things.)

Fave Season: Winter. They're all nice, of course--she enjoys being outside in any seasonally pleasant weather--but the Levistus bloodline tend to fare well in the cooler temperatures. She can happily doze off under a gentle dusting of snow, if so inclined.

Fave Flower: Bleeding heart flowers. They're so wonderfully delicate, and she's fascinated by their intricate shape. She also thinks they smell just as beautiful as they look. She's also fond of fox gloves, heliotropes, & larkspur.

Fave Scent: She loves clean smells, like fresh sheets or soap. Ocean air can have its pleasant notes. The scent of caramel or toffee can often be enticing enough to make her enter a bakery she wasn't planning to stop at.

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Peppermint tea is her favourite. Another recent, delightful discovery. Most teas aren't strong enough unless she over-steeps them, and that can sometimes make them too bitter, but the peppermint can counteract this (in her mind). She doesn't add anything else to the cup. It was the first thing she asked for after rejecting Bhaal, and oftentimes if she's been drinking earlier in the night.

(Now, if someone were to introduce her to peppermint hot chocolate, she might just find herself unable to choose which was the ultimate favourite.)

Average Sleep Hours: Post-worming, pre-heritage revelation, maybe two hours a night if she wasn't worried about the sleep-murdering or that wretched little creature calling himself her Butler haunting her consciousness. She was absolutely not doing well at this time but carried it as best as she could, and would at least allow herself something similar to a trance if real sleep was off the table. After rejecting Bhaal and ridding herself of Sceleritas (she's unsure which was actually the bigger victory here), she averages out to a more normal 6-7 hours.

(That first week after was the outlier, though. Velrith had no idea over-sleeping was a thing, or that her body would feel so bad after finally getting some desperately needed rest. By far, that was the most disorienting week in her recalled memory.)

Dogs or Cats: Scratch and the Owlbear baby have her heart, but she would probably love a cat too. Truthfully, Velrith has the capacity to enjoy all types of animals equally. There's something comforting about the presence of something four-legged and soft bedside her, who seems to understand her emotions without words (or even judgment).

She's not killing the spiders in the bathroom, she's getting a cup & paper and gently releasing them in the yard.

Dream Trip: Possibly cheating, but anywhere is an answer that works here. So far, her working memory is limited to the Sword Coast & Baldur's Gate. Those places are fine, really, but she's keen to see literally anywhere else if for no other reason than to say she's done it. Besides, how else can she verify if the disgust some of the public seems to feel towards Baldur's Gate is justified?

Amount of Blankets: She's either wrapped under enough blankets to match her own body weight, or nothing at all. As she's come to discover, she seems to crave sensations that exist as some sort of extreme. She's happy at either end of the spectrum, but probably won't be particularly comfortable under just one comforter. (Note: it's possible to replicate the effect of a tiefling's weight in blankets using the body of One (1) vampire. Unlike the blankets, however, he tends to move around more than a quilt, so mileage may vary.)

RandomFact(s):

Her hair is insanely long, thick, & very healthy, the soft white tresses hitting somewhere near her waist when loose. She didn't actually realize this could be a point of vanity until Haelryne (yes, yes, dual protagonist AU) teasingly expressed envy after catching her taking her braid out. Consequently, she discovered how pleasant it could be to allow someone else to brush & play with it. She's slightly self-conscious of this at first, but there's something pretty healing about experiencing your first 'girls nights' with people who seem genuinely excited to have you around.

Her threshold for registering pain is pretty high, and even when she's injured, she's typically pretty calm (life-threatening injuries notwithstanding). She's able to make herself sit for things like stitches or the resetting of bones, expressions of discomfort usually coming out in slight grimaces. There have been multiple occasions where she's alerted someone to needing help with a very even-toned "Oh, I'm bleeding," only for them to turn around & see her holding a cloth up to a wound that's absolutely gushing & would be an understandable cause for panic in literally anyone else.

If she's going to take a bath, it's either on the cusp of a boil, or there's a literal sheet of ice on the water surface. As you can imagine, the number of 'romantic couple's baths' she's partaken in is small.

She rarely raises her voice. "Soft-spoken" seems to imply a level of quiet, or a certain pitch that don't really apply to her (the closest comparison I would make is Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha in Vikings), but it's probably the most applicable shorthand term. While she doesn't typically have a lot of tonal expression, she speaks with a certain melodic quality that's actually fairly soothing if you listen. Of course, she's really only known to speak for extended bouts if she's genuinely comfortable, so it might be some time before you pick up on this. She'd make a wonderful singer, if she was ever so inclined (she will not be).

Her body temperature tends to run a bit lower than most people. Touching her doesn't feel uncomfortable, if anything she's pleasantly cool, especially if you're on the warmer side.

Yes, Eclipse will definitely be getting revenge on Lunar later (it will most likely involve snakes - I don’t think Lunar in canon is afraid of snakes, at least not that I recall, though centaur Lunar is, I kinda imagine it how Toothless and the other dragons in httyd are scared of eels)

Oh yeah I have LOTS of random fun facts/headcanons for this au >:)

Starting off with gender/sexuality headcanons :

Lunar is trans and uses they/he pronouns, pan

Earth is panromantic demisexual and uses she/they

Solar is pan and uses he/they

Sun uses any pronouns (he/she/they), bi

Moon is aroace, uses he/him

Eclipse is demiromantic pansexual and agender, uses he/him

(BM twins) Scarlet (twin 1) - genderfluid, pan | Whiskey (twin 2) - nonbinary (masc leaning), uses they/he and is biromantic grey-ace

Ruin is unlabeled, def queer tho, and uses they/them

KC is bisexual and uses he/him

Now onto other random facts/headcanons :

The BM twins in this au are obligate carnivores (most centaurs are omnivores like humans—in my headcanon anyway- so the twins are an abnormality)

The twins are separate in this au and that is how they have always been though they still have a very close connection to each other

The nick/tear in Solar’s ear is from a tracker that he ripped out of his ear sometime before meeting the others

Solar has a bit of a southern accent in this au (I may do voice claim stuff tho still unsure)

Instead of coming from his time in space like in canon, Lunar’s star powers were just something he was born with that lay dormant in him until later on (the astrals of course knew he had these powers the whole time but didn’t appear until they started to manifest)

KC is the tallest as well as the oldest in this au (with Eclipse being a close second in height) and Lunar is the shortest (and the only one based off a pony)

KC’s right ear is permanently flattened due to an injury from years ago (you can see this on his ref sheet)

All of them display horselike behaviors (because as many already know I LOVE characters with physical animal traits that also have behavioral traits)

These behaviors include :

vocal (snorting, squealing, whinnying, nickering, etc)

stomping hooves when annoyed/upset or sending an alarm to others

ear emotes (laid flat - angry, swiveling rapidly - anxious/nervous, pricked - alert/interested, etc)

when excited or playing they may nip and bump each other and/or chase each other around

charging/false charging (Eclipse is well known for doing this both to other centaurs and people)

They may be centaurs but they are still of course half horse and have prey responses/behavior, especially when it comes to things that could be a threat to them (wild cats, wolves, other large predators, snakes, etc)

some have stronger reactions to this prey response than others (though again the twins are the odd ones out and have little fear for other predators with them being more like a predator themselves)

during the fall and winter their coats get thicker and fluffier and in the spring and summer they thin back out

They all live with their own little “herds” —Moon and Sun’s herd (them, Lunar, Earth, Solar, eventually Eclipse), KC’s herd (KC + the twins)—Ruin’s the odd one out in this as they don’t belong to either herd

(There’s other behaviors they do but these are some of the most common/notable)

Ace Week - Acespec Headcanons

Hi hello, it is I, your local genderqueer demiaroace fan creator \o/

And I bring you my most beloved headcanons to celebrate ace week:

Inuyasha is demisexual. I mean, come on! He only started falling for both Kikyou and Kagome AFTER he knew them enough to let go of his people avoidance behaviour! And even with Kikyou, it was physical attraction either! It was a deep longing for companionship! My boy is demisexual for sure! (and demiromantic, but let's focus on the ace spectrum here)

Kagome is ALSO demisexual! She had Hojo pining for her for what was probably YEARS before the series starts and it doesn't even REGISTER until her friends point it out to her! But as soon as she felt Inuyasha cared for her, the girl was SMITTEN! Tell me a more demisexual reaction than this!

Sora, from KH, is ace! Yeah. That boy is powered by friendship and I don't think he even knows what sex is.

Kairi is ALSO ace, but she does know what sex is and probably teases Riku to hell and back (she ships her friends and if I had my way, they would be a throuple with at least sokai being a qpr)

Keyleth from Critical Role is on the acespec somewhere. The way her relationship with Vex went (no spoilers) is very familiar to me as a demisexual - he was the one the say he loved her first, she got flustered and decided it wasn't "the right time" at the beggining - probably to process XD

heres all my Regular Show headcanons so far

Rigby and Fives are both autistic (fives seems to miss some social cues, Rigby is super impulsive and has a temper, and is picky about certain things, he doesn't like hugs and such)

Mordecai is either demiromantic/greyromantic/arospec/aromantic and is pressured into making romantic relationships by his friends (come on, we've seen it happen many times) and Margaret has a similar situation, she'd be probably demi

Serious ones aside, Mordecai has a natural habit of picking things up off the ground with his bird claws

Pops faints at the slightest trace of blood, even if someone has a papercut he cannot handle it

Not really a headcanon but I think the idea that Mordecai and Rigby are regular humans, but they're just furries, as opposed to being actual animal people is kinda funny/interesting.

Back to actual headcanons, Mordecai is really good at masking/hiding physical pain if he wants to. Not so much emotional pain, but if he had appendicitis he would probably walk around for hours being like "yeah it's fine it'll probably go away on its own" and the most anyone would hear about it is him casually saying to Rigby that his stomach kinda hurts and then continuing to beat him at whatever video game they're playing. Until he throws up into his bowl of chips and/or passes out.

Rigby can fit his paw/hand inside a Pringle can. Mordecai cannot. Do with that information what you will.

Woman/Girl: A gender identity that is connected to femininity and the female sex

Cisgender: Someone who's gender identity is congruent with their AGAB

Cisconfusgender: A cis person who often is unsure of their gender but always comes to the conclusion they're cisgender. I didn't coin this term but I made the flag based on a description of it

Quoieuphoric: Someone who isn't sure what gender euphoria feels like or if they feel it. I coined this term myself!

She/her/hers/herself: Someone who would appreciate if you referred to her by she/her pronouns

They/them/their/theirs/themselves: Someone who would appreciate it if you referred to them by they/them pronouns

Femme: Someone who presents femininely

Aspec: Someone on the ace, aro, or other a-spectrum(s)

Arosespec: Someone who is on both the aro and ace spectrums

Acespec: Someone who is on the asexual spectrum

Arospec: Someone who is on the aromantic spectrums

Asexual: Someone who doesn't feel sexual attraction at all (personal use definition)

Cupiosexual: Someone who doesn't feel sexual attraction but still desires a sexual relationship

Demiromantic: Someone who experiences romantic attraction exclusively to people they have formed a strong emotional bond with

Cupioromantic: Someone who desires a romantic relationship even in the absence of romantic attraction (personal use definition)

Angled Aroace: Someone who is on both aro and ace spectrums but isn't fully ace, aro, or either

Lesbian: A feminine, neutrally, xenically, or unaligned person who is attracted, usually exclusively, to other feminine, neutrally, xenically, or unaligned genders. This is a definition I came up with that I think accomplishes what the nonmen definition attempted to describe and doesn't exclude multigender/multialigned people and acknowledges the common exclusive use of today but doesn't exclude historical use. (personal use definition)

Aurora Lesbian: An all inclusive alt flag. An aurora lesbian can be considered an all inclusive lesbian

Lunian: An mspec lesbian

Bi lesbian: Someone who's bi attraction is also simultaneously lesbian attraction because it's only towards people who are considered part of lesbian attraction (personal use definition)

Sapphic: WLW, doesn't have to be exclusive.

Midnight Sapphic: A sapphic who feels othered and ostracized from the greater sapphic community for their identity

Omni lesbian: Someone who is attracted to all genders considered part of lesbian attraction (personal use definition)

Bi lesbian with bi- as a modifier: Someone who primarily identifies as a lesbian, and sees being a bi lesbian as a subset of that lesbian attraction

Neptunic lesbian: A lesbian who is also neptunic

Closeted mspec lesbian: An mspec lesbian who is closeted about being an mspec lesbian in at least one aspect of their life

Bi: Someone who is attracted to multiple genders. Commonly used to mean not all genders and with gender as a factor, but because of its history, it can refer to any mspec attraction

Multi: Someone who is attracted to multiple genders. An umbrella term for bi/pan/poly/omni

Mspec: Someone who is on the multispectrum

Bi-Gay: Someone who considers their attraction bi and gay (gender neutral)

Stellian: Someone who considers their attraction mspec and gay (gender neutral)

LGBTQ: Someone who is not an allocishet

Autistic: I'm not yet diagnosed and I'm working on it but I believe I am on the autism spectrum/have autism spectrum disorder. You can use person first or identity first language I don't mind either.

Queer: Someone who reclaims Queer as an identity. Not all LGBTQ people will be queer, because we should acknowledge that is has been used to harm people and they may still have trauma with the word queer.

Inclusionist: Someone who includes all good faith identities and seeks understanding before calling something nonsense.

Lykoi Lesbian: A lesbian inclusionist group that passively fights exclusionism by being inclusive.

Some things abt monster high (2022) ships!

Draculaura x Lagoona

This ship made some sense to me after the episode w who gets voted head fearleader. They really seem to at least, connect with each other. And hinted at a bit in over bro tective. Probably my second favorite mh ship. However I believe the movie episode makes Lagoona x Gill seem like it could become canon however they have literally never interacted onscreen yet. Lagoona has two hands too so. Honorable mention to Twyla x Lagoona bc of the movie episode although as an nd person it came off more like nd solidarity. I relate Lagoona's 'chomps' to some aspects of my bpd and Twyla is of course canonically autistic. But also as a ship I think it could work, as literally nd4nd is so real.

Draculaura x Manny Taur

This is one of those one-sided rivalry turned study buddies turned ship things, I don't think I ship it a lot but it seems plausible except that Manny seems to be more a side character. The kind of ship that would probably happen irl and be relatively stable. The episode where Clawd first appears was when I felt this seemed to show up.

Draculaura x Clawd

This. Like. Tbh I feel Draculaura didn't exactly show kindness towards Clawd due to being worried about her vampirism in that ep. But the resolution of the conflict in this ep kind of made me realise that they may actually be hinting at this ship in canon(maybe a call back to older versions of mh) although I did not expect that

For what it's worth I don't really know if I see Draculaura as into any of these characters romantically. Maybe bc she always seems more focused on other things but. Also I feel that makes her come off as a character whos either into multiple people or not into anyone, also gives room for an aro or arospec interpretation but.

I feel that could be true of Clawdeen and Clawd as well, tbh those three just. Don't seem all that invested in romance or interested in others that way. I also think Twyla and Draculaura(more so movie version than show tho) and Torelei (yeah ik shes like. mean but Im apl and literally not my fault half the apl coded characters r villains or bullies) also come off as aplatonic or aplspec coded.

Frankie x Cleo

This. Probably my mh otp. Horoscare hints at this ship so much and so does that episode where they find the mummy necklace thing! The ship I think is most likely to be canon! They even show Frankie blushing and stuff like. Theres a lot of things that make it clear they're implying romance in terms of how cartoons tend to imply ships. Also one episode description for a future episode literally involves Deuce being a wingman for Frankie to ask Cleo to the monster ball!!

I think I definitely ship this in an arospec way bc Im arospec but. Quoiromantic greyromantic Frankie is such a headcanon I have and maybe Demiromantic Cleo bc. I also feel Cleo would realise her feelings after Frankie realised theirs. Although I also see Frankie having trouble interpreting their feelings towards Cleo or maybe not.

In one episode a playback of Clawdeen's monster minute is shown in which she says something about who she thinks is cute but it cuts off before any names are said (I believe it could be Deuce or Howleen. My partner and I even have a lighthearted bet on this in case it gets revealed, they guess Duece and I guess Howleen. Theres also the chance that neither and/or it is not revealed). It is to be considered that in the movie Deuce and Clawdeen do have chemistry but. I don't see that in this version at all tbh. Clawdeen doesn't seem to have romantic chemistry with anyone in the show tbh. And neither does Deuce imo

I do know that one sided Heath x Abbey is. Kind of noticeable but tbh Abbey is new to school at monster high and also I dont think its ever hinted that she feels the same about Heath although its possible she does and this ship may become canon?

Not really a ship at all for me but. Ghoulia seems like she really looks up to admires Skelly maybe in a fangirl-y way and that may be like. A celeb crush thing there and/or gender envy?

(The comment about Moon were sprcifically about my au of them, not moon x them in general, in that au Sun is genderfluid and pan and poly and Moon is agender and demiromantic and demisexual and poly)

Tbh I think my problem isn't with the ship so much as it is with like being reminded "oh people see the dca as a cis man and see this as a het ship" when I'm more of the opinion that the dca is nonbinary and all ships with them are queer in some way or another. So sometimes I get a bit uncomfy if people like really go out of their way to make the dca hyper cis masculine and het

But that's a me thing, it's not something other people need to or should be forced to conform to

One friend replied with "God you put it into words perfectly" and I was reminded of your post about this sorta thing

i tried to find the post but i couldnt either XP but yeah!!! exactly exactly my feelings! honestly i feel that way for a lot of characters. like wheatley is a funny example bc hes very obviously a lot more masculine than sun and moon. but i still feel mega uncomfy with very cis masculine depictions. probably one of the big reasons i dont like chelley. robots are the perfect partners bc they ARENT human and therefore dont typically have that same vibe as humans do gender wise. so its always very odd and uncomfy to me seeing hyper-masculinity being pushed onto characters im attracted to.

Reigen Arataka Headcanon Time Baby

He/him trans guy! Has been on T since age 18 and got too surgery at age 23.

Asexual! And homoromantic! But also demiromantic, probably. Very much sex repulsed, but cuddling is Excellent once he’s reached a certain level of trust!

He has ADHD, depression, RSD, and dyscalculia! Maybe also autism. Very likely, actually.

He is Not White, or even half white. He bleaches his hair, babes. Bro is 100% Japanese

Yes I am a guy who is 100% on board with the residual katana scar headcanon! Love that!!

His lungs ain’t in great shape, y’all. I headcanon he started smoking at the ripe old age of 15 and didn’t slow down until Mob showed up and he was like Ah, I have to set a Good Example. I cannot let this child suffer from secondhand smoke. (He still occasionally allows himself One cigarette.)

I know he has a canon height of around 5’10” but when I write and draw him he is 5’7”. I do not take constructive criticism on this. (Mob is taller than me for fucks sake, let me take Reigen down a notch at LEAST, PLEASE GOD)

He has a vast array of knowledge and skill in cooking, but rarely has the time or motivation to actually cook for himself. He usually only cooks properly when other people are around (rare)

In general, his actions are very much driven by either impulse or dire need. I mean come on. Have you seen this guy’s decision-making? That man has so much ADHD executive dysfunction in him.

His hyperactivity and lack of volume control are at times unavoidable, so he often ends up playing it into whatever he’s trying to do.

Like many neurodivergent people, his social skills were rigorously honed into a very convincing mask. He had to STUDY how to read people, y’all. It became a hyperfixation. Mobgle searches on body language and psychology, observation, PRACTICE IN THE MIRROR. All of it.

Saw the shit you got for sams ships and for fucks sake, people really don't seem to get that 1) robots aren't blood related and therefore they can choose to say yeah no I don't see you as a sibling/cousin/what have you and actually never did in the first place, I just felt pressured to put a label on what I am to you and it felt like I had to choose a familial label (to my understanding that seems to be what happened) and 2) aro ace people can date. Like...insisting that people not ship aro ace characters because "it invalidates their sexuality" is ignoring every single aro/ace person out there who does date (plus you mentioned Moon's questioning his sexuality anyways so like...bruh). :/ Aro aceness is a spectrum and a very nuanced and complex one at that. There's so many ways one can be aro ace. Aro aceness is not about whethwr you date or not it's specifically about feeling little to no or otherwise limited romantic and sexual attraction. That can range anywhere from sex and romance repulsed to indifferent to absolutely loving dating and sex (and that kind of aro ace isn't limited to specifically demiromantic and/or demisexual people either, you can have absolutely no attraction to a person while still enjoying dating and/or being intimate with them)

Mini rant over now oof, I hope you're doing ok :( ppl give each other way too much shit over something as inconsequential as a ship between fictional characters, it really is ridiculous (still absolutely baffled at the fact that people have sent literal death threats to people who ship sun x moon (og version just to clarify lol) like man please chill out)
