Two wandering Moonhorses in their natural habitat - the Narr-Vaan Desert ~
They are probably the most unrealistic of all my creatures, but I love these skeletal guys - they are so surreal! Through drawing or sculpting them in all the detail is such a headache…
It took some courage (and sleepless nights…) to finally finish this sculpt.
I wanted to try the sculpture feature in Blender instead of the regular modelling features. My first attempt at digital sculpting and I made a Tundra! They're a little bit bald because its literally my first sculpt and I have no idea what I'm doing. But I actually really love how it turned out!
EDIT: Nobody asked but I've put this on my dropbox HERE so you can download it and use it for whatever <3 Also, if you like the shape of the face please google "boer goat" you will NOT be disappointed!
WIP of my new 3D project: 'statistical average Siderian (Aka µ) v2.'
I've made a v1 as well - a simple model with a simple colour, a basic background and some basic walk cycles. My ultimate goal is to learn character modelling and animation in Blender through making 3 versions of 'the statistical average Siderian', each being more complicated than the precursor.
This is the sculpture of version 2 in which I've sculpted the teeth, claws, ears, tongue and eyes in much more detail than in the previous model.
See here posts of the previous model: https://reignofsiderians.tumblr.com/tagged/Mu%20v1

We were told to make mini sculptures of ourselves, taking inspiration from our chosen books. I wasn't quite sure how to use the books, but I did known that I wanted to use scrap yarn that I had collected for the hair.
I started building the base with Styrofoam and cardboard and then covered it with paper mache. Installing the wool hair was pretty easy, all I had to do was jab the strands in with a darning needle.
3D model of Arfaen (my and @verbrannt47's personal character) in his old feline form, which I decided to bring back into my art ~
It was quite a challenge for me to create this model, I've struggled a lot with drawing Arfaen and his features in the past, so it was interesting to see if I can finally sculpt his shapes correctly.
