All of season 5 is just the writers thinking of weird ways to handicap Cas's powers 😂

Every damn episode he's in they have to think of a creative way so that he won't just fix the issue and Sam and Dean will have to. At this point it's funny.

Like in My Bloody Valentine when his body suddenly gets hamburger cravings and so he can't fight the horseman Famine? Dude his vessel is fucking dead why would the body be hungry? (And angels don't need to or care to eat.)

In the Song Remains The Same when Cas gets comatose for a few days from overexertion from time traveling with Sam and Dean. Huh???

In Changing Channels when the trickster/Gabriel duck tapes Cas's mouth and kicks him out of the show.

In I Believe the Children are the Future when the kid turns Cas into a Minifigure.

Sorta doesn't count but when Cas was a stoner orgy dude in The End.

Like come on whatttt. I want more Cas and I want Cas to be released at full power. Or at least... not be wacked off for Dean Sam family time every episode.

do you know what?

I miss long seasons.

I miss seasons that had 20 episodes and half of them could be cut and nothing would be lost to the story.

I miss the episodes where nothing fucking happens but you get to see the main cast goofing around with one another. You get to see their interactions, their relationships develop, their day-to-day lives and how they all fit together in them.

You get the Christmas/halloween/valentine's special -is it needed? certainly not. but is it good? is it entertaining? does it give the show and characters life? do we, the viewers, enjoy it? YES!

give me long stories!! give me little quarrelling spats between characters that can be resolved in one episode with no need to have an impact on the greater story! make these stories real!

let me enjoy them before they end!!!

I absolutely love Hazbin Hotel and the little world that's been created, but I can't help but feel disappointed we're only getting two seasons of 8 episodes.

back in the early 2000's 16 episodes would have been ONE season, never mind the entire thing.

show my angel dust and husk and nifty and sir penthouse living their daily lives in the hotel! show me Charlie brainstorming ways to redeem sinners! give me Charlie forcing the hotel staff to do cringe-y exercises! give me an entire episode of Vox trying to follow alastor through security cameras! Give me husks typical day! Give me a special through the eyes of nifty on a mission to irradiate the hotel of bugs! Give me sir penthouse and the egg boys up to no good!

give me something other than the bare necessities to make the story flow

6 months have nearly gone by in the hotel, and it feels like 1 month.

after literal years i finally got around to downloading a pdf of the wipers times, an unsancitioned satitical british trench magazine circulated among the troops in france from 1916-1918 after the fortuitous discovery of a printing press. i have approximately five million other things i need to read so idk when i'll be able to devote much time to it, and i gotta pick up a proper copy bc it's missing at least salient no 4 vol 2. that said? i'm genuinely laughing at what i've skimmed so far

#this is like THE page everyone likes it seems but it's SO good #also the flammenwerfer one i found on wikipedia is gold. that's the only reason i know no 4 vol 2 is missing from the pdf after skimming #and 'DEAD COW FARM' CINEMA. is great #the wipers times is SO fascinating to me as a glimpse of life into the trenches without any signifigant censorship of the bitterness that's #couched in satire. it's hilarious satire but there's still bitterness there sometimes! and gallows humor! this was adored by the men on the #front but it's amazing it happened at all.
