You guys wanna see some crusty art of Earl and Fiona from 2009-2024? Earl was the main character for Dreamalong right up until last year when I thought perhaps a change would freshen up his story! He went through a lot of change but still somehow stayed himself :oD Also WAHOO I found his original design!! Only as an icon, but! That green haired eyestrainy Earl was the earliest Earl, from 2009! He has seen me through high school and remained silly... He has been through so much, poor Earl! It's okay now, he is soft and happy! Kinda! As for Fiona, she started out as a merfolk in 2016? Having hair that looked like ocean waves but then I later opted for a fish tail for her hair later :oD I also included some cute little doodles I made for a color theory assignment back in 2017, based off of her silly seafaring observations. And then of course, there's their current designs as an apology for the eyestrain art and for everything they've been through design-wise HAHA, they went through my peer-pressured-into-drawing-Final-Fantasy-influenced-art era and my eyestrain colors era, but I'm happy with where they arrived. This is all to show and say, Don't be afraid to take the journey you need to with your characters, and don't let others decide how you want to design them! Embrace what you need to feed yourself creatively :o) (Within reason... plagiarism is stinky)

“To Falling in Love”

It came out of isolation and some harsh, abrupt separations at crucial moments of my upbringing. But I think one my greatest strengths is falling in love with people. Not even romantically. (That’s often a different conversation.) But platonically, in love with my friends.

When I think about it, it makes sense: It’s one of my oldest practices. It’s not always a good thing; I need to keep working on my insecurity in therapy. Life isn’t Peter Pan, and we aren’t always, or even usually, Wendy Darling; the next time you see someone often isn’t the last, as hard as it can be to set that fear aside.

But maybe, there’s a certain magic in being this kind of person. In the last few years, I’ve met some amazing professionals: Accomplished actors, directors, producers, writers, choreographers. (It really is a TINY industry.) Sometimes, I knew going in how big a deal they were; oftentimes, I didn’t. But no matter how big, I found it wasn’t their “business” I would miss—not the “opportunities” we might, one day, grant each other. I’ve tried to make myself prioritize those things before, for self-preservation if nothing else. But in the end, it really, truly is them I care about—them I would miss. Their voices, their wits, their smiles, their laughs, their strengths, their struggles, the way they move when they think no one is paying attention, the hugs we’ve shared and the way light refracts off their eyes when they have ideas.

Just falling in love, over and over.

I might not have decades of business acumen, or the will to the enact the hustle-culture cruelty our capitalist system tries to demand from us.

But I do know how to do that. ❤️

The Sims 3 Save File Families Part 2/3

Let me introduce the present families in the save file I made for Sims 3. It's just a simple one. The eventual prolog to the actual canon of the game. You'll see familiar Sims and new Sims, of course. I just changed a few things around Sunset Valley, the rest remains the same. This is why I didn't take that long on it. (A hour per day maybe....)

Note: The description contains both family and character bio.

The Bunch family (Arlo Bunch [Original & Younger version], Darlene Bunch [Original & Younger version], Ethan Bunch [Original & Younger version], and Lisa Bunch [Original & Younger version]. Jack and Judy Bunch remain the same.

Bunch family:

Here's the story: Two working parents juggle family, household chores, and their careers while their four children run wild. What is the right balance for this family of six to stay sane? (OG Bio)

Jack Bunch: On one of his kid’s birthday, he hosted a grilling evening at the home and found joy in serving his friends with his food, which they loved! Jack made it a tradition for his friends and work pals to come together every Sunday to grill together. This deed fastened a few long bonds, that Jack still has up to now.

Judy Buch: Four children Judy has brought to this world. Each kid unique from the other. Judy’s wish of a big family has been fulfilled. All she needs to focus on is her career and the education of her kids….

Ethan Bunch: As the first-born child. Ethan is the most responsible kid in the Bunch household. He’s an A student at the school and a talented athlete. Ethan hopes one day to become a soccer player someday, just as his father wished to be, when he was younger. Hopefully, Ethan won’t have the same bad luck as his father.

Lisa Bunch: Lisa’s a simple, basic schoolgirl. She used to know, that her brother will always be the best out of the two, but she doesn’t really care about it anyway.

Arlo Bunch: Little Arlo does show to have similarities to his older brother. Out of the four Bunches, he has shown to be a quiet toddler.

Darlene Bunch: The latest addition to the Bunch household, Darlene is the oldest brother’s favorite family member. He’s the only one, who has shown lately to have the patience to handle Darlene’s constant tantrums and sudden fights with little Arlo, which she seems to be jealous of.

The Langerak family: (Kaylynn Langerak and Parker Langerak [Original & Younger version]) Iliana and Dustin Langerak remain the same.

Langerak family:

The Langerak's moved into Sunset Valley about a few years ago due to Iliana's career choice. The family have been saving money to build their own cozy home. While the task isn't done yet, they're currently residing in this house with a joyful toddler and a chaotic son....

Iliana Langerak: When Iliana received the offer to move to Sunset Valley to have a higher chance in climbing the ladder of her career, she had planned everything out and hoped, that her husband would support her.

Dustin Langerak: Leaving his hometown to follow the love of his life to a foreign, new town was a big challenge for Dustin. But he knew how important this was for Iliana, so he agreed with her and promised to be looking for everything around the house, while she was at work.

Parker Langerak: Despite the low attention he gains from his parents due to the arrival of his younger sister, he doesn’t seem to be affected by it. He knew very well, that upon her arrival, things would change. So he tasked himself to “man up” and move on with his life.

Kaylynn Langerak: Kaylynn is the gem of the Langerak household. She steals everyone’s attention and shows to be photogenic in almost every picture the parents take. She enjoys seeing her older brother play………...

The Clavell family (Bessie, Buster and Xander Clavell [Original & Younger version])

Clavell family:

Buster is starting to have less and less patience to deal with his rebellious son, Xander. He has no idea, why his son causes so much trouble. One thing he's at least happy with is the fact, he and his wife never planned to have more than one child. If they would have been acting like Xander, things would be a catastrophy. That's for sure!

Bessie Clavell: Bessie knows very well, her son isn’t behaving like an angel. But she believes, that deep down inside him he’s capable of changing.

Buster Clavell: If Buster had a chance, he would like to travel back into the past to be able to talk with his father again. Losing his father figure at a young age and now not being able to solve certain family issues by himself without a second, professional opinion can be quite depressing at some point. Knowing from his teenage days, that kids around Xander’s age can go wild around that time, Buster hoped Xander would keep his wits.

Xander Clavell: Xander is a bit of a trouble-maker inside the Clavell line. Besides causing chaos at the school, he also leaves the house at midnight to screw around with friends. One of those nights he even managed to steal his dad’s car to accidentally crash it! Buster has had it with his attitude and threatened him to kick him out of the house. Teens in Puberty can be ticking clocks sometimes. If Xander’s going to grow out of it in the future, it will be a relief for the family….

McIrish family

The McIrish family (River McIrish [Original & Younger version] and Shane McIrish [Created by Ecofinisher]) Fiona McIrish remains the same.

McIrish family bio:

The McIrishes have been living in Sunset Valley since its foundation. Fiona and Shane had met as work pals at the Doo Peas tower and with time they got married and had a daughter together. Their life was good. As the years went on, both grew apart from each other, dealing with the daily stress of work. While Fiona would sink her head into books, Shane would rather be drinking. Shane’s drinking habit has gotten out of control, that it led him to get fired from his job. It was up to Fiona to keep the family safe from trouble. The months passed by, their relationship began to change drastically and even though little River was a child, she knew, that what was happening in their household wasn’t good…..

Fiona McIrish:

Upon having River, Fiona thought her life was perfect. She knew at the point, that when she married Shane, that things wouldn’t always be easy. Fact upon him losing his job, Fiona worked hard to be able to sustain her family, while Shane sought for a new job. Through the months, Fiona got to learn a new side from Shane, she didn’t know before and pushed it under the rug believing it all was related with what happened. Soon it began to repeat itself more and more. Fiona warned her husband about his drinking habit, but that didn’t seem to be the problem. Fiona even was mistreated by her husband without the drinks! Was her husband always like that? How did Fiona not notice anything before?”

Shane McIrish:

Shane was used to get what he wanted. Even, if it meant to put on a facade. It’s no surprise, not many people including his wife aren’t aware of his true personality. He’s a great actor and he has always shown to be a good type of Sim around everyone. The many changes in his life have made it harder for him to keep up. Upon the moment he lost his job due to his own mistakes he kept looking for ways to put the blame on others, including his own wife. Shane grew violent as well towards his life partner and didn’t show any remorse about it, even with his own daughter’s presence.

River McIrish:

River didn’t get to spent much time outside of the house. All she did was going to school and returning back home. She feared to leave her mother alone at home knowing, that her father might do something to her. River surprisingly has been spared by her father. Still, she tries to stay away from him, when she notices, that his mood is down. To pass her time at home, she cleans up the house for her parents and paints on her canvas out at the backyard. Sometimes she wishes she could have at least one friend out of the household with who she could talk with about everything….

Agnes Crumplebottom (A Single living Sim):

Agnes was secretly jealous about the luck of her older sister, which had found herself her partner long time ago. A coincidence at one of the Goth’s party’s allowed her to meet her current fiancé Erik with whom she shared everything.

Erik Darling (A Single living Sim):

One of the Goth’s parties had him invited among other politicians to the inauguration of the Doo Peas towers. At the party, a shy, young woman called his attention and soon he found himself interested in her….
