Out of the corner of his eye, Shoutarou sees Philip raising his hand, so he quickly slaps it away before the situation can escalate any further.

And Philip has the gall to look like he’s been terribly wronged by Shoutarou.

He sighs. “You’ve looked up allergies. You should know not to scratch it.”

“Well, yes.” Philip nods. “I should refrain from biting, licking, or scratching my lips. But what if it’s really itchy, Shoutarou? It’s a reflex.” That’s why Shoutarou’s here to slap his hand away for him, obviously.

All this because Akiko wanted to try some new lipstick colors. Philip got caught in the brunt of it, and was more or less coerced into becoming Akiko’s personal mannequin doll head. Unfortunately, it turned out that something in the lipstick irritated his lips, and now they’re swollen.

“It’s going to get worse if you scratch it. Now drink some water.” Shoutarou instructs, and feels a smidge of satisfaction when Philip does what he's told. “Where’s your lip balm?”

Philip fishes out the little tube from his pocket obediently.

“Hold on to that. It should help with the inflammation. It should get better soon.”

Philip unscrews the lid and squirts bits of it onto his finger. “I don’t know, Shoutarou.” He says idly. “Are you sure you can’t just kiss it better?”

worst way to start my new year, thanks. i have a lot of things to say about these companies but i'm tired and just keeping it focused to the pin side of things for this one. do not ever buy pins from these companies, literally ALL of them are stolen from small artists like me. if you want to buy enamel pins, check out etsy, and artist's personal websites and shops! (though even Etsy has some bootleg pins that ship straight from china, so tread carefully…)

Every pin I've designed is, thus far, EXCLUSIVE to my etsy. if you find it anywhere else, it's been ripped off! and once these stupid bootlegs pop up, it's basically a never ending game of whack-a-mole trying to get them all taken down...
