truly he has always had the best hero mentality amongst the public, like kissing babies cheeks and helping old ladies cross the road. so it’s no wonder his ratings are so good that he gets more requests for civilian crimes and eventually too many for him to handle when there are larger crimes he is getting called in for.

the stress builds up as he gets pulled in every direction, a little relieving would help.

needing another hand on deck he starts mentoring a newly debuted hero, only a few years younger than himself but by god Kiri feels like he is finally in control of something for the first time in a year.

however his caring nature comes out in a different way to this soft-spoken, clumsy, kinda dumb trainee. kiri can’t help but push the limits a bit on what he can do, even model men like him have their desires.

oh we were fighting with quirks and I accidentally rip your shorts up? don’t worry we’re all guys here! did I grab you by the chest when you got tripped slipped? oops i was just trying to catch you… kiri can’t help but start cuddling, holding hands, and even make some jokes about him being a daddy and how cute their babies would look.

slowly this trainee gets used to his increasing affection, they even call each other nicknames and text 24/7! what happens when he tells his friends about it and they all accuse the two of flirting. “haha, he doesn’t like me.. right?”

AWWEE kiri the cutest n somehow evilest?? EVERRRR!!

he always turns trainin into some sort of… compromising position. at first you’re dodgin his punches but then he’s got your knees on his shoulders n he’s pressed up with his chest against yours?? he’ll even hold it, like some sorta pro wrestlin finish move n tell you to try n break free…all with a smile on your face!! he’s got lil freckles on his cheeks so he jus looks so… sweet n pure intentioned. so you don’t question the offhanded grinding against your crotch when you try to break free!!

i can see him givin you one if his prototype costumes (pretty revealing especially considering he needs to show skin for his quirk!) if he ‘accidentally’ ripped yours or ‘mixed it up with his dry-cleaning’, gives him perfect access to your chest n tummy n thighs… he gets to stare n feel around for any issues with the outfit… n seein you modeled after him like some kind of cute fanboy??? his heart jus melts, he wants you so bad!!!

poor himbo so confused, gets so embarrassed n crashes into stuff when he thinks too hard abt his friends suggestin his boss of all ppl is flirtin with him?? that can’t be right!! kiri is jus really nice n lookin out for him!

Talk to me about BtOM and/or its sequel? I've seen some of the webcomic and would love to know more

Hooo boy! Thank you so much for your interest! This is going to be a long post! BtoM is my original webcomic, set in the Aztec empire in the 15th century, before the arrival of the Spaniards. It's not trying to be historically accurate but I did quite a lot of research at the time to get cultural stuff and place settings right. It features, as main characters, Metztlitototl, a boy who fell from the sky; Mictlantecuhtli, god of death; Tezcatlipoca, god of, heh, a shitload of things LOL, and his highpriest Itztli, a human. They try to navigate their feelings for each other while finding out where Metz came from. It's a gay love fantasy drama. (while I and the characters often refer to Metz as a "boy", he is not underage) I came up with the basic story idea over twenty years ago and developed it over the years (with the help of a writer who is not part of it any more) into a fully fleshed out story. At the moment it spans six full chapters with about 30-40 pages each; the seventh and last chapter is still unfinished. I have taken huge breaks over the years, coming back to it again and again. I have always promised that I will one day finish it and I still intend to keep that promise. The shutdown of smackjeeves had me loose my main platform for hosting the comic and while I have plans to make my own website, at the moment it's hard to direct people to where to read it easily. That's why I set up a new tumblr for it, but editing all the pages and making the posts is also a huge effort I struggle with. (So sorry!!! I will try and be better!)

It's hard to share stuff because it's a comic script, not a novel, but I'd like to share something from chapter seven, Mic and Itztli trying to figure out who or what Metz actually is-

Itztli is sleepless, he roams the temple grounds restlessly, deep circles under his eyes. He coughs violently and spits but doesn't see the blood mixed with his spit. At dawn he comes upon a secluded area where a fire must have been burning not long ago, a qualming brazier and lots of footprints make him curious. He inspects the scene and finds almost but not completely erased drawings in the earth, depicting... Metztlitototl? What is the meaning of this? Is that... the boy? "It is as I thought." Itztli whirls around at the voice, and Mic stands before him (not the skeleton, but the "nice" Mic). Itztli squats down immediately, heart pounding. "Lord of Mictlan." Mic ignores him. He looks around, sees traces of burnt incense, and even a feather of a bird, hinting at a blood sacrifice. Without looking at Itztli, still studying the area, he says: "Tell me about the night you found him."

The sequel is a very indulgent PWP that has them figuring out their feelings even more and basically all four of them end up in a polyamorous relationship haha. It was my pleasure project to write when the mood struck and has reached the same length as the main story document (oops LOL)

My favourite is not the main character Metz but Itztli, my precious poor boy who'd do anything for his capricious master. He's probably the reason the sequel exists because they needed more space to flourish <3

The main characters, Metz and Mic, are soft and lovely and I love them to bits but they are also, well, easy. Also, Mic is obviously inspired by Dream. My teenage self had a type (and still has). xD

So, last week I went to the Avatar Concert!! AND IT WAS SOO MUCH FUCKING FUN!! ;DDDD!!❤️❤️ and I drew an Aang arrow on my head LOOL (and 3 ppl complimented me on it HAHA). So that faded off but I also drew some Airbender tattoos on my hands, elbows, and legs AND THEYRE SOO FUCKING AWESOME!! ;DDDDD!! ❤️❤️ ITS A WONDER WHAT THEY DO TO YOU LOOL. They make me feel SOO much more powerful and free like an Airbender haha! SO I WORE MY KORRA FITNESS TANK TOP!!! ;DDDD!! ❤️❤️ which I somehow forgot I owned but oops LMFAOO. I’m surprised you’re able to jump writing from one story to the next and so quickly haha. Don’t know how I could do that. Do you ever get so caught up in the world you’re writing in one story you’ll try to continue with a different fic and be like “shit where did we get up to here can’t even remember” or jump back to writing for one fic after writing another thinking it was the another fic and being like oops it’s THIS Louis and Harry im writing now 🤪

Oh my god. Literally all the time. ALL. THE. TIME!

Well, it's not so much I get them mixed up and write the wrong one or the wrong story, it's more that I just forget lol. So I'll have to go back and read other chapters and stuff.

Especially because I do dual POV, so it's 4 voices. And then I had the A/B/O, so in four weeks, I've gone through 6 voices.

Also I lose so much momentum because I finally get back into one fic and excited about it... and then it's time to swap and I don't want to swap and I'm not excited about it but then I write the chapter and I'm excited again and I can't wait to keep going... and then I have to swap again.

I'll never post two WIPs like this again, lol. Like I'll do drafts or write short fics to upload complete, but I won't be actively uploading to different WIPs like I am now.

I looked through notes for ychiits and in one AN I said that I worked out I was uploading, on average, a chapter every 1.8 days. I will say I take a bit more care with my writing etc but I have the exact same amount of time as I did back then to write and it's taking me at least 5 days to upload a chapter and I think a big part is that I have to keep switching.

I love the fics, and I love writing them. But yeah, it's hard and I won't do it this way again.

Nunnally's Halloween Ch 3-1: The Pumpkin Festival

This is the first section of the third chapter of 'Nunnally's Halloween'. This chapter shows the grand Halloween party that the group has been planning throughout this story.

The story opens back up in the prepped festival hall lined to the brim with Halloween decorations.

Lelouch: N1, Kou, It’s time. 

Hong Yu: Oh, then let’s get it started. Alright everyone! MERRY HALLOWEEN! 

Al: No no, mix it up, mix it up. 

Hong Yu: Wait, don’t go. Anyways, thanks for coming! Let’s enjoy this party to the fullest! CHEERS!

The screen quickly flashes between all the characters standing next to a fellow ghost party member, with Nunnally beside the massive jack O' Lantern.

Al, Liu Ki, Nunnally, Gigi, Jack O’ Lantern and Ghosts!: CHEERS! 

We then cut to Lelouch in the Ashford school kitchen with a few helpers ghosts standing behind him.

Lelouch: Alright, we made it to the start of the party… P2, take this plate to Table 3. P1, go clean the second table. P5, go clean up the empty plates from the left. P9, don’t wander around. Monitor the doodle space properly. Hm… The food serving was delayed. P3 go follow P6.

Lelouch (internal monologue): (I never thought individuals from the ghost side would offer to help… Seems like my observation was correct.) 

We then cut back to Liu Ki and Hong Yu at the main festival hall.

Hong Yu: Isn’t this going great? Oh, this plate goes over here. 

Liu Ki: Lelouch is such a great cook. 

Hong Yu: It looks delicious. Just looking at it makes me hungry. We're also participants, so we can eat whenever we want.

Liu Ki: Even the ghosts are starting to eat right away… Wow, there are so many spicy dishes.

Hong Yu: Don’t do what you did last time. Ever since you ate spicy food a while ago, You’ve had some trouble with it. 

Liu Ki: Hey, brother! 

Hong Yu: Haha, my bad. With this communication device... I'm honestly surprised that I can hear Lelouch's voice from here.

Liu Ki: Ashford Academy supplies, right? That’s what they seem like. You better treat them with good care. 

A bit of static noise comes though.

Lelouch: N1, N2, this is no time for chitchat. There’s a glutton of a ghost over at table 9. I'll bring you the roast beef ahead of schedule.

Hong Yu: Oops, work comes first. Well then, let's go!

Liu Ki: Yup! 

The camera then fades to black to show Al next to a couple ghosts looking a little pensive.

Lelouch: P1, the glasses on Table 15 are empty. Please clear them immediately. P1? Can you hear me, AL! 

Al shudders a bit at Lelouch's yell.

Al: I can hear you. However, Lelouch! Aren’t you giving me too many instructions? 

Lelouch: After cleaning up the glasses, I'll refill the drinks at the drink server. Hurry up.

Al: Wait a second! Are you going to add anything else?! 

Lelouch: Hong Yu and Liu Ki are reliable, but since they lack modern knowledge, it takes time for them to understand instructions.Gigi and Nunnally are the moderators. With that in mind, you’re the only one left. 

Al: Still, with that being said-

Lelouch: ...Right now, I'm making all the dishes without taking any breaks while also checking on the situation at the entire venue. All by myself!

Al: I was being selfish. I’m really sorry. I’ll do my best… 

Lelouch: I’m thankful that you understand. 

Static pops through again as Al squeaks again in fear. We then cut to Gigi and Nunnally observing a few ghosts huddling close to the doodle board.

Gigi: Hold up, are those the ghosts that like graffiti? They're drawing as much as they can on the walls of the venue.

Nunnally: Heehee, seems like the ghosts are having fun too. 

Gigi: Yup, I think it would be fun to draw so freely. Nunna-chan,are you havin fun too? 

Nunnally: Yeah. If I remember correctly, the student council was holding an event like this. 

Gigi: Did the council president like hosting events? 

Nunnally: Milly, the granddaughter of the principal of Ashford Academy, is the student council president. She’s hosted quite a few events. 

Gigi: Oooh, what kinds of events? Culture festivals? 

Nunnally: That’s right. We also have school festivals. There were some unusual ones like the Silence Party, The Cat Dog Festival, The Cross-dressing Festival, and The Grand Art Festival. 

Gigi: Whaat, just the names of the events make em sound fun! Next time, let me know the details!  

Nunnally: Of course. Each event was so fun, and my brother was always by my side… 

As they chatter, the camera then pans around the hall to show off the many decor the room has along with the many excited ghosts floating around the party venue.

Gigi: Hmmm. Well then, I'm enjoying this party too. 

Nunnally: That’s… 

Gigi: What’s wrong? You not having fun? 

Nunnally: No! That’s not what I meant. I’m having fun. Having this party with you, Al, Liu Ki, and Hong Yu is… 

Gigi: But you get caught up in the moment, right? 

Nunnally: Yeah. I heard my brother and Al talking in the library.

We then cut to a black and white flashback from some discussion from the first chapter of his segment.

Nunnally: ‘This is not the time to be involved in a party’, they said. ‘It’s not worth it’... What my brother said made sense. ‘We have to move forward in a world that has come to a halt due to the “Moon of the End''. ‘A stopped world is the same as a dead one.’ But… 

We then properly cut back to Gigi and Nunnally.

Gigi: You felt lonely, didn’t you? 

Nunnally: …! Yes… But that’s not the case with my brother… 

Gigi: I can’t say the same. Lelouch is keeping everyone in mind, and that’s what he’s trying to do. But… 

Static comes through as Lelouch interrupts their deep conversation.

Lelouch: Q1, Q2, can you hear me? 

Gigi: Yessir! Q2, Gigi, hear ya loud and clear! 

Nunnally: I-I can hear you as well. 

Lelouch: We will soon move to the third phase. Proceed as planned. 

Gigi: Gotcha. I’ll make this party all the more exciting. Are you ready, Nunna-chan? 

Nunnally: Y-yes. I’ll do my best. 

Lelouch: Nunnally, I’m counting on you.

Gigi: Huh? What about me? 

Lelouch: Don’t get too excited, or it’ll bite you in the back. 

Gigi: Hey, mind your business!! 

Lelouch: There you go, letting it chew away at you. Okay, I’m counting on you. 

Gigi: Well, seems like we don’t have time to worry ‘bout that right now. What should we do? 

Nunnally: We’ll put our all into this event. For my brother’s sake! 

Gigi: Uhuh, that’s what we should do. Well then, let’s move on. 

Nunnally: Yeah! 

Lelouch (internal monoloue): (Thanks to Nunnally and Gigi's progress, the operation is going well. The ghosts are also making quite a show. Then it’ll all be down to the timing.) Al, what’s the status of the Jack O’ Lantern? 

Al: Huh? Oh, yeah.. It seems like he’s satisfied. 

Lelouch: Good. Notify every member. Shift the progression into the third phase!

It came to me in a dream, (probably) crack au where Sara and shin's trial got switched and oop- the roaster was misprinted and it showed Sara having the 0% and Shin having 15.5% In the victory rates.

(Or maybe if was serious and someone intentionally did it. Or an accident, haha, I mean it's so easy to mix up shin and Sara- but honestly it's up to imagination)

Sara wakes up in dark with only a lamp light illuminating a black board. Confused as to how and why she's there she tries to remember her situation, and started shouting for her mom and Joe. Right- the stalker! He must've kidnapped me! I need to find a way out. She thought, while frantically looking around to find an escape, but it was so dark, that she first investigated the papers on the black board.

That's when miley comes in to give the roasters. Of course, miley was also taken aback seeing Sara chidouin at this room. She just giggles, saying there has been a mistake but they just have to work with it. She hands them over and starts to thoroughly explain how accurate the results were. And how lucky Sara was with her victory rates, wholly unaware that the roasters percentage were wrong and that Sara is panicking again seeing her percentage as 0%. Certain death.

After miley leaves. Sara is left there alone. She's shaking. She doesn't want to die. And that when shin' shadow figure comes in. Asking if she knows what a majority vote is. The same dialogue happens, and when there's the reveal that it was actually shin (what I'm guessing is like a doll of him) and started saying the same thing. And now, Sara has decided she'll do anything to survive even at the cost of others lives.

Onto to shin's trial, he wakes up and bound to a bed and can only move his right hand. He's panicking, remembering that he got kidnapped after going home from a night shift. He started shouting for help, and if there's anyone there and Joe replied as if just also waking up. When he heard Joe's reply he asks if he can help him, but it seems like Joe also can't move. He tries to look for anything he can grasp on, and gets a cellphone and the trial starts.

He tries to find the key and gets out of his restraints, and tries to get Joe out of the restraints. But when he used the key, it doesn't work--. He tries again, and while Joe was waiting, he looks around and sees on the other side, (this is a bit from the manga) kugie seeing Joe, reaching out asking for help before being crushed by the bed. He looks back at shin who's looking around for another key-- or something! He tells shin that if he doesn't make it out, he assumes that his friend Sara must've also been kidnapped, to tell her that he loves her, he's her best friend.

(Y'know at this point shin could leave him to die and that would be an interesting thing to see at the victim videos or something. Or like floor masters hinting that Joe was there, and shin not telling Sara about Joe just from pure guilt and to avoid dying. And when Sara finds out, it'll be more of a reason to kill him ndisjsisns. Just a thought)

Shin thought of leaving him behind. But- he notices the red in the key have been scraped and there's a bit of green showing. Uses the sand paper and was able to get Joe out before the time limit. Joe thanks him profusely, saying how he almost died. They exchanged names and shin suggested they look around for anything. When they found nothing, they decided to get out of the room. While walking, Joe decided to go in front saying how shin would probably trip or something (idnkdss I dunno how to dialogue, how do these two interact in the game?) So shin just gives him the phone to illuminate the way saying that he trusts him. (Alright, I have no clue how they fall. Maybe they saw the big ass hole, and both tripped which is gonna be funny. Or they got trap door. Either way, that phone is gonna shatter).

That's all I got for now. I haven't gotten some of them refined like should shin be awake or passed out after that fall. If he wasn't, then he'll get carried by Joe to the central hall. He puts down shin somewhere, to lean on the wall. And Sara rushes to Joe, and Joe is equally relieved to see someone familiar and that Sara was okay. But Sara seemed, reserved? She looks and saw shin and was immediately suspicious, because wasn't that the guy she met at her trial room(?)

Yeah, nope, that's it. I'm going to sleep now.

so here are a couple things i have in mind:

murdoc is a shady low profile private investigator that the handles particularly gruesome cases the local police dont want to handle. stuff that requires the opposite of a delicate hand--that they never want to see the light of day. it's always very under the table

thats how he got put on stuart's case. the police didnt want word of a cannibal causing panic in the town. plus they knew the chances of murdoc just straightup killing the guy weren't exactly zero. which they didnt really mind

murdoc hates the policemen that hire him. he thinks theyre cowards and loves to rub it in their faces that he does the work they cant (or wont) do

murdoc decides to help stuart when he finds him purely on instinct. even he isnt fully sure why he did it, it just felt wrong to turn him in. so what other choice then to help him? (plus theres obviously the bonus of physical attraction and intrigue of the twistedness of it all)

stuart's actually quite a sweet kid for being an actual cannibal. when he's not indulging he pretty much has the same personality as canon. though he does carry a weird intensity with him. his face is kinda uncanny valley-ish, not just cause of his eyes.

stuart first discovered an interest in gore from watching zombie movies when he was younger. his facsination with zombies, and watching them eat brains and flesh, is also what led him to dipping his toes in cannibalism

stuart never really thought through any of his indulgences, in terms of getting rid of evidence or anything like that. he's not careful at all. thats where murdoc's help comes in

murdoc's always had an interest in cooking (partially since he's lived alone nearly his whole life and kinda had to learn how) so murdoc helps stuart cook the meat they bring back from his victims. this makes getting rid of evidence a lot easier

oh and its also definitely a sexual thing for both of them if that wasn't already obvious

murdoc knew he was a sadomasochist and that he had a blood kink well before he met stuart, but their encounter and meeting him in general makes him realize the extent of it

once they team up, murdoc begins to collect a variety of bite mark scars all over his body, all of which are missing a tooth ;)

There's a couple from Sharp Edges I'm pretty proud of, mostly Stede-and-Izzy banter, but I think my dark horse favorite is this bit from chapter three:

The second time Izzy opens his eyes, Jim is sitting in a chair next to the bed, calmly and rhythmically sharpening a knife along a leather strop. "Nope," he decides, and passes back out again.

Literally wrote the entire recovery sequence the way I did so I could get that line in because it cracked me up.

I think I'm pretty good at capturing character voice! I was re-reading a couple of my own stories recently and none of the narrators sounded like each other, which is saying something since a not-insignificant number of them are emotionally damaged middle-aged men.

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

Oh yeah, absolutely. I usually have a playlist for any given fandom, which consists of an uneasy mix of music from the source, lyrically appropriate, and straight vibes. Occasionally a song will really hit a particular mood and get a one-song loop while I'm focusing in. Most recently Running for Cover and The Quittin' Kind, but my ultimate "put it on repeat and get to work" is Two Knocks, which got me through multiple entire Dishonored fics and is still probably my single favorite song of all time.

❌ What’s a trope you will never write?

I want to say A/B/O, but I know in my heart it would just take the exact right dynamic to spark that off for me, so I'm not going to tempt fate. Anyway the real answer is food service AUs. Too real, man. Too real.

🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?

Both, and it depends. What usually happens is I'll have a gem of an idea, and I'll end up throwing open a new doc and start typing absolute nonsense. What form that nonsense takes depends on the idea: sometimes I start from a specific scene, so I start writing that scene and see where it takes me, and sometimes it's an AU idea, and I just start typing "so what if such-and-such a thing happened," and then just ramble at myself in the document until it starts evolving. A lot of stories stop here, honestly; whatever creative urge prompted it gets satisfied and I set it aside and move on. If the story has more legs, I keep going (usually while telling myself and anyone who'll listen that I'm not really writing this one) and if it's long enough, it hits a point where I start outlining just to keep my scattershot ideas in check. A one-shot, even a longer one, gets almost no organization; I just write, and if things need to be moved around I do, but there's no outline because the story's tight enough I can hold the scope of it in my head.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

It's probably a cheap answer to say "whichever one I'm writing now" but honestly, it's the truth. I don't write characters if there isn't something about the inside of their POV that fascinates and compels me. That said, if the question is "what's your favorite type of character to write" the statistically correct answer, as noted above, is "emotionally damaged middle-aged men." Deacon, Johnny Silverhand, Daud, Corvo, now Izzy Hands... Actually remove the "men" and Billie Lurk fits perfectly to type as well. Depending on how generous you get with fantasy ages there's probably a few others that fit as well, lol.

...fuck do I ever have a type. Huh.

For 1) and 2), not a lot of response from me here since I’m not entirely sure what to say other than agree and nod my head since as you had pointed out the manga did not outright confirm or deny anything. What you wrote out made sense anyways hahaha.

As for 3), I gasped. Because wow I did not make that connection. Makima slowly trapping Denji in her claws from the beginning was not clear to me. This is especially so since it is mostly from Denji’s POV and he’s an extremely biased narrator hahaha.

(It only became clear to me once Power was going to wish Denji happy birthday ueueue) (I would say that Reze’s death should’ve been a huge hint for me too except I was binge reading and it flew over my head until I looked back oops)

Honestly, Makima gave me sus vibes ever since I first watched the first episode. (Whoever was crazy enough to hug Denji at his request had to be off their rockers one way or another) I just had very mixed signals from her since she was a lot nicer at the start.

Don’t worry about your pen name since you make it easy to find your social media. Loyal fans will find their way one way or another! Just like I did :)

Makima hugging Denji at his request when she first met him wasn't initially 'sus' to me, mostly because I just wrote it off as some 'manga character thing' at the time. Definitely suspicious when you look at it again with added perspective from the rest of Arc 1. I think I started getting a little anxious and suspicious during the udon incident, when Makima sent Denji off to fight a devil just so her noodles wouldn't get soggy.

Still, I didn't actually expect Makima to turn out to be the ultimate mastermind and a devil herself though akdfjhadsak ;;; Kudos to the mangaka for writing such a scary character!

I might look into that name thing, although my main concern in that case would be that it's too long of a username put together. Thanks for the suggestion, though, and I'll think on that a bit!

Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects?

Yeah, actually! I never post anything to Ao3 unless I’m 100% sure I’m going to finish it (even if it takes me literal years). That means both that I’ve never gonna perma-hiatus/abandon a fic if it’s on Ao3 and also that there are a lot of things floating around that I’ve actually put some legwork into that haven’t really gotten anywhere and I doubt I’ll get around to, so they've never really seen the light of day.

i was gonna permadeath hyrule and then i didn’t, details here

i did some light drafting and outlining of a story where the Four Sword splits Sky. it’d have to be long to do it justice and i didn’t wanna commit to that with two active WIPS on Ao3 at the time. i have just finished To Isolate, but i have 30k words of celestial navigation nonsense to now balance with hey four so i doubt i’ll get around to this one

i’ve got 4k words of legend slowly opening up to sky and telling him things and growing much closer and then very belatedly realizing that he knows next to nothing about sky himself. i started it in someone’s discord dms, but it wasn’t really going anywhere that excited me so i dropped it. if people want me to slap what i do have of discarded sketches-but-writing like this one on tumblr, let me know, though i warn you that they’ll all cut off partway through and be deeply unsatisfying

i’ve got 2.5k words of outline for something that’s kind of the same idea i mentioned in bullet 3 but it pulls wind into the mix and instead of being an i-just-dove-in-and-started-writing, it’s a pretty solid outline of something i just didn’t feel like fleshing out. the working fic title was “don’t look at me, i won’t be able to smile for you.”

i have another doc titled “haha lol legend is a punching bag.” this is a very apt title. legend gets nabbed by a baddie, puts up a heck of a fight tryna get away, almost manages, and then gets caught for real, bonked with malice, and unleashed onto his friends because we love to see link v link combat and the old i-know-you’re-in-there-somewhere fight. kind of an extension of that Malice!Legend ficlet i slapped on here a long while ago, but it does way more things. this one’s just an outline.

i’ve got 1k words of legend on koholint talking to marin after realizing the island was fake. had a cool take on marin, but wasn't really the vibe

i have this vague, very fluid concept that’s just “five times legend was helpless and one time he refused to be again.” what those five times are vary every time i try outlining it, but it’s just a lot of legend running into different kinds of The One Problem He Can’t Solve and struggling to cope with not being omnipotent. might actually revisit this one cuz i still like it a lot and i think there were some good ideas in here. my biggest problem with it is the “and one time he refused to be again” because i don’t like the implication that the solution to not being omnipotent is just to Try Harder but “five times legend was helpless and one time he accepted it” just sounds depressing. i’m very open to suggestions on this one!

i’ve got 2k words (written, not an outline) of four coming back to camp one night with red Very Much In Charge so his eyes are very red and then hyrule thinks he’s possessed and draws his sword on him and red freaks out and ditches and the other three have to figure out what’s going on. i didn’t really think it was going anywhere interesting but what really stopped me from continuing was that i started writing four Very Much Like A System and it was cool but then i started researching the neuroscience behind it and psychologist brain went wheeeeeee and now thinking about the fic just makes me want to do research instead of working on it oop

this one venty thing of hyrule just having no energy whatsoever and not wanting to talk to anyone. then he climbs a tree and feels a bit better. that’s literally it, and this one is actually complete, i just didn’t feel like posting it anywhere, though i can plop it here if y’all want.

then i have a silly AU outlined where all of the LU boys are either students or instructors at a flight school (like for airplanes and pilots n stuff). it would have to be really infodumpy though and i’m doing enough of that with my celestial navigation fic. the characters and world are fun but i also didn’t really have a storyline i liked so this hasn’t gone anywhere

there are probably more kicking around but i can’t find them right now

as for discarded scenes and storylines within fics i have actually written, there definitely are some, but i don’t really have any way of keeping track of them. the one i remember most vividly is that there was gonna be a part in to isolate ch.8 where sky overhears legend playing ballad of the wind fish and wind asks him about it and legend says he was hoping this was all some bad dream he could wake up from, but it didn’t really fit in the flow of the narrative we ended up with. there are actually a lot of deleted scenes from chapters 8 onwards because the outline and the actual thing are virtually unrecognizable as being part of the same fic.

X: A character you enjoy making suffer. All of them, obviously, but Wind and Four have been climbing that particular ladder! we need more content of them being deep and interesting and mature together (and wind especially, solo) and what better way to explore that than through strategically deployed angst and suffering!! this bodes well for Hey Four >:3

Y: A character you want to protect. all of them, believe it or not, but right now it’s mostly Legend, shockingly! he’s been my favorite punching bag for a while, but i’ve also noticed myself growing increasingly gentle with what i put him through and how i have him take it lately because these days it's actually way more interesting for me to be kind to him than to bully him

- you weren't the heaviest drinker. But could you hold your own a bit but up against Zoro? Nope, You stood no chance. He can practically drink alcohol like it’s water

- with that being said, one night you just happened to be drinking with Zoro but you may or may not have had a bit too much to drink. But you didn’t want to stop there. You were having too much fun with Zoro to want to stop

- and at the time you didn’t even think about what could happen you were honestly too drunk to even care. But turns out that when you get drunk you get a little more talkative than usual

- and for a while now you had kind of a crush on the swordsmen on your crew. You were sure how or why. It could be his short messy hair, the scars over his body that adds to his muscles, or his stupid comments that come out of his mouth

- whatever it was you were in love with it and clearly, you had no shame in telling him that too while you were drunk

- you don’t remember a word that came out of your mouth, but you can definitely remember the look on his face: eyes wide and in shock. It was easy to tell was he definitely not expecting that either

- but as you continued to confess, his shocked expression quickly turned into somewhat of a soft smile mixed with a smirk. He was enjoying all that you had to say about him

- he’d honestly just let you talk the rest of the night, most of the time it was about him and other times it was something completely different. You practically talk to your asleep. And Zoro is practically in love too.

- but as of now, Zoro’s gonna let you sleep all the drinks off. But you bet in the morning Zoro is not gonna let you forget all you said about him last night. And you’ll never know, maybe Zoro will share his feelings too

Portgas D. Ace

- you were drinking with the crew when you had first told Ace all about your crush on him. And time had gotten away from you a bit bc you found yourself a little more drunk than you’d want

- and turns out you can get a little aggressive when you get drunk. The crew will definitely be reminded you that for a while too.

- but the night started like any other night, you, Ace and a few of the crew were enjoying some drinks outside chatting about random topics when there was on a topic that you just got passionate about and couldn’t stop drinking

- however once you finally got yourself drunk, you stopped talking. You just ended up watching the others for a while, until your eyes landed on the freckled boy that sat across from you 

- for a while now you had something for him, you weren’t sure what it was but you just know that Ace was amazing and like you liked him. and it’d been a while since you first got his crush yet nothing has happened between the 2 of you. 

- so finally, with an alcohol clouded mind you finally decided to do something. It probably wasn’t the best way to show that you liked him but what could you do. you were drunk. so getting up from the seat on the floor you wondered your way over to Ace and promptly took a seat right on his lap, your face facing him. 

- he was def caught off guard when you did this bc you just sat right down in this lap without a word or even a look on your face. All Ace knew is that you were drunk. You stared at him for a while too, with your hands around his neck and your legs wrapped around his waist. It was freaking the crew out too. you rare get drunk so they have no idea what your gonna do 

- finally, you spoke up, “You and your goddamn freckles. They have no reason being that so fu*king cute. Your and your family's genes are annoying. You better pass them down to my kids or I swear on god...”

today was the day you were going to play among us with some of your friends, and new people you haven’t met yet. you were beyond excited to meet new people because that meant new friends, and new friends means new people to stream with. you hadn’t been able to make new friends recently because people always thought your flirty personality was too much to deal with and gave them mixed signals whether you wanted something more than just being friends. you genuinely didn’t have those intentions and it was something you were lowkey insecure about. your friends had assured you that it wasn’t your fault and it was just your personality but the new people you wanted to be friends with told you otherwise.

you had been streaming for the past 30 minutes waiting for someone to send the code in discord. talking to your chat about the lobby and who would be in it, “um the only people i know for sure are gonna be in it is poki, rae, sykkuno, corpse, and bretman. but rae did tell me that there would be some minecraft streamers,” you said lifting your eyebrows in a suggestive manner. your chat knew about you simping for minecraft streamers and they were excited for you, some of them warning you not to fall for one because they’ll just break your heart and flirt with each other. 

you heard the notification from discord coming from rae, sending the among us code and you immediately started up the game. waiting a few seconds, you put in the code and saw you were one of the last people to join. you entered the vc and heard them talking. “hi everyone!” you said in a cheery voice, smiling as they all replied with a greeting. “i’m (y/s/n), but you guys can call me (n/n)” you said. waiting for everyone else you weren’t familiar with to introduce themselves. everyone did and you figured out that you were playing with not only poki, rae, sykkuno, corpse, and bretman but also dream, george, and karl. “who else are we waiting for?” you asked, noticing the 9/10 on the bottom of the among us screen. as you asked that you heard a very loud scream coming from your headphones. you winced at the sound but soon heard a “i have arrived!” coming from the same voice that did that very loud screech. “nice of you to finally join us quackity,” karl said. you recognized the voice as soon as you heard him say ‘i have arrived’ and your eyes went big. you muted yourself in the discord call and talked to your chat. “holy shit chat, it’s quackity. like quackity the guy i’ve been SIMPING over for the past few months, holy shit.” you said, very surprised to see your favorite minecraft streamer in the same among us lobby as you. 

you unmuted and heard rae say, “surprise shawty!” and you immediately knew that she planned this. “who are we surprising?” george asked. “(y/n) is a very big fan of one of you guys.” poki said in a teasing voice. “oh who is it?” dream asked, sounding very curious. “it’s actuall-” you cut sykkuno off. “ah ha ha, *cough* *cough* *cough*, you guys, let’s start the game. ah ha my chat has been waiting for like an hour now.” “(y/n) bitch, you trying to change the subject?” bretman asked you. “oo now i’m curious too.” quackity said. you started blushing and your chat started teasing you. “mm i have no idea what you’re talking about bret, i just don’t want my lovely chat to keep waiting for this game. they’ve been looking forward to it as soon as they knew you would be in it. you know? bretman rock? singer, songwriter, actor, actress, athlete, activist, a scientist on the motherfucking side, the star of crystal of the day, and a coconut connoisseur. the baddest bitch out.” you said, hopefully distracting him from the previous topic. “okay bitch, just because you know i’m the baddest in this lobby; you’re off the hook.” everyone started laughing and as soon as it died down, dream screamed, “let’s get this game started!” rae then started the game and your adventure began.

“anyways. who the fuck killed bretman?!” you asked, lowering your voice to sound more intimidating and finally looking at the screen to see bretman dead. your friends started laughing and corpse said, “i last saw him in o2 with quackity.” which made you a little embarrassed but you kept up with your act. “quackity, i swear to god if you killed the baddest bitch in this lobby you’re dead first whenever i’m imposter.” faking the same deep voice. quackity had started staggering his breath into his mic but finally let out, “i left him there and went to comms, it wasn’t me i swear!” and started to fake cry which made you let out a rambunctious laugh. “okay, okay. i believe it.” you said, still giggling a bit. “the thing is, i found his body in o2 and you were the last to see him, quackity.” rae said, still sussing quackity. “well, where was everyone?” you asked, hoping to get some sus off of him. “i know dream was with me in electrical.” sykkuno was in cafeteria, george and karl were in reactor, rae was obviously in o2 where she found bretman’s body, corpse was in lower engine, quackity in comms and poki was in admin. none of you really had any other susses other than quackity but you all decided to skip since it was only one kill and someone definitely could’ve vented into nav or something.

you started humming the tune to jesus in la by alec benjamin while on your way to electrical to finish your download. you then ran into corpse and started a conversation with him. “hi hi corpse!” and he responded with his signature, “what up baby” you giggled and replied, “my chat goes crazy every time you say that,” he laughed and asked, “if i say it more often do you think they’ll donate?” you laughed very loudly and said, “if they do, i’ll give you half of the donos” you guys both laughed and walked out of electrical to admin together and stayed together majority of the round till the lights got called. “corpse we have to stick together and don’t get gotted.” you said. but somehow along the way to electrical you lost him and just went straight to fix the lights. once you got there, sykkuno was already standing at the light panel but not fixing the lights. “sykkuno, why aren’t you fixing the lights?” you asked him. “oh i was, i just got here, haha.” he said, playing it off. as soon as you hit the last light switch, a body was called and it was dream. you looked to see that corpse and george also died.

“you guys kill bretman then you kill corpse?! who is the one to come face my wrath!” you said with an angry face that chat would probably screenshot or clip. everyone in the lobby started laughing and you held your serious face. “i’m not joking. i was with corpse until the lights got called then we got separated in storage. once i find out which one of you killed them, you better sleep with one eye open.” everyone started laughing even harder and even you cracked a small smile hearing all of them. “well i hate to say it but, i did see sykkuno last with dream.” poki said. “wha-what do you mean? i was in electrical fixing the lights right (y/n)? and i left dream near the beginning of the round” sykkuno replied. “i only saw you once i got there and you were taking a long time to fix them.” you said, hoping that you caught one of the killers. “but i told you that i just got there a few seconds before you.” he said in disbelief, thinking telling you that would help him. “you could’ve lied, sy,” you said, pulling out the nickname you had for him. “what?! me lie to you? i would never.” he said. “mm, he’s lying! he raises his voice a bit when he lies.” rae said, pointing out one of his tales. “that is true.” poki said, agreeing with what rae pointed out. “i can’t believe you would lie to me, sy!” you said. “just for that, i’m voting you.” you continued. “but we’re on 7! we don’t vote on 7,” rae said. “oops.” you said.

karl, and poki all voted with you on voting sykkuno out, leaving rae and quackity voting to skip but he ended up getting sent out of the airlock because sykkuno voted himself, thinking everyone would skip. you had hoped you really did get one of the impostors.

by this time you ended up just going by yourself and finishing your tasks. you haven’t seen anyone so you decided to go to security to spy on cams. no one was passing through until you saw quackity and he entered security and you both started talking. “hi quackity!” you said, very enthusiastic to be talking to your favorite mc streamer. “hi (y/n). how’s it going?” he asked. “well i can’t find anyone, no one has passed by the cameras other than you.” you said with your voice dripping in disappointment. “do you think we should go out and look for someone?” you asked. “no, we should just stay here and talk! we haven’t talked at all the whole game.” he said. “mm that’s true. so did you finish all your tasks?” you asked him. “no, BUT i do have a question for you ms.
