I love that Adrien takes everything Marinette says at face value. Like, Marinette told me that she thought I was a statue and proceeded to give a grand declaration of love and try to kiss me, but she says she doesn't have any feelings for me so clearly she loves someone else 😔😢🥺. Ngl, all the Marichat was cute, but I was also a goner over the little neck rub Ladybug gave Chat Noir

The way he looks at Ladybug kind of informs me that he is still in love with her (Like how Marinette is still gone over Adrien), but the depth of his look towards her says more than just love. It's partnership and being transparent. No wonder that warm light is over his face. It reflects how Ladybug/Marinette is feeling, but also his feelings towards her. It's warmth, comfort, light. LOVE. In every shape and form as well, it's not just romantic, its platonic as well.

The little neck rub she gives him just means so much as well. It's so... domesticated as well. In it you can tell just how long they have been a partnership and how much they care for one another. They said everything between each other without using words and her little neck rub just lets him know its okay. And just look at her face! The affection and knowledge in her eyes.

I'm soft okay 😭This scene got to me. This and the little nose and cheek kisses, even moreso than the full-blown kisses.
