This is so dumb but, Sevika helping reader with her confidence when asking for sex? Idk, I need a nap
CUTE
men and minors dni
for the first few months of your relationship, sevika's the one initiating sex a majority of the time.
she doesn't mind. you usually respond eagerly, and half the time, she acts because she can tell you want to, but you're too shy.
it's in the way your gaze lingers on her lips as she speaks. the way you find any excuse to touch her. the way you bite your lip while letting your eyes trail down her body.
but, after you guys are together long enough for the jitters and nerves to wear off, sevika decides she wants to hear you ask for it.
so, one night over dinner, sevika asks you about it.
"y'know you never initiated sex before?" she asks.
you choke on your food. sevika bursts into giggles, pounds your back as you sputter, and waits for you to collect yourself.
"sev, what the fuck?!" you ask. she just chuckles and shrugs.
"i'm always makin' the first move." she says.
"well... yeah." you mutter, suddenly recounting your past times. "but... most the time i'm, like... starin' at you until you do?" you try. she bursts into laughter.
"so that's on purpose!?" she asks. you shrug.
"'s just kinda a side effect of me gettin' horny. i just zone out an' focus on you." you explain. sevika grins, then darts forward to kiss you.
"that's romantic." she sighs. you smile, and she tilts her head at you. "you could always use your words, too, y'know." she whispers. you groan.
"i know! it's just-- what am i supposed to say?" you cringe. she giggles, then kisses you again.
"whatever you're thinkin'. i doubt i'll say no to you." she whispers against your lips. you gulp, and she pulls away before you can pounce on her, smirking at you as she pours you another glass of wine.
so... you try your best. it's sevika after all, you'd crawl to the ends of the earth for her. how hard could asking for sex be?
incredibly hard, apparently.
the first time you try is the next night. the two of you'd gone dinner and a movie, and now, you're sitting on sevika's couch, chatting and cuddling.
"--so then i told silco that i'm not his fuckin' babysitter, 'n no matter how cute the kid is when she's got the little ponytails in, nothin' they do is gonna convince me to spend the night watchin' her--"
"i want to have sex with you right now, please." you interrupt. the second you do, you cringe, and sevika bursts into laughter.
"the please was a nice touch." she giggles. you huff.
"i dunno! i'm trying!"
"right in the middle of my story?"
"sevika, i'm tryin--" she cuts you off with a kiss.
so it's not a total failure, but it's not the smoothest you could've been.
you try again after dinner the next night, cuddled in bed, teeth freshly brushed and wrapped in warm jammies. sevika's spooning you-- you won rock paper scissors for little spoon tonight-- gently scratching your scalp as you trade anecdotes.
"anyways, tomorrow for dinner i was thinking--" sevika adjusts as you talk, ever so slightly, just a gentle shift of her hips against your ass. it's enough to make your brain short circuit. "sex?"
sevika bursts into laughter and you groan. "now or for dinner?" she teases. you elbow her and she grunts, then bites your ear in retaliation.
you turn around in her arms, hiding your face against her neck. "sevika, you told me to use my words--"
"that was actually only one word, baby." she teases as her hands start sneaking down your pajama bottoms. you bite her lip.
the next time you try, though, you seem to do alright.
sevika's working away at her desk, too distracted by the papers scattered around her to notice you approach her.
she groans when you start massaging her shoulders, her head flopping back in relief as she blinks up at you.
"you wanna take a break?" you suggest. sevika hums.
"did i work through dinner again?" she asks. you giggle, shaking your head no.
"not a food break." you say, pulling her chair out and circling around her before sitting in her lap. you strip your shirt off and throw it behind your shoulder, and when you pull the fabric over your eyes, you're greeted by sevika's grin.
"a sex break?" she guesses. you nod.
"is that... okay?" you ask.
"that's fucking fantastic." she promises, wrapping her arms around your waist and launching forward for a kiss. you giggle against her lips.

The relationship between Violet and her mother since she’s an angsty teen now I feel would just worsen a little when she found out she was having a little brother. They were probably so close when she was little. It was already a little rocky (what teen girl didn’t have a rough patch with their mom at that age. Ik I did) but the addition of a new baby just means less attention for her. She was probably too young to process it when Cecilia was born cause she was little but being a teen and the idea of having a new baby must be rough. Especially as the months pass on and her mom tries to bridge the gap between them before he’s born, only thankfully it was fixed after he entered the world :)
(Oh it be so sweet conversation though. I can only imagine the moment they finally talk it out.)
It's late at night. You can't fall back asleep after waking up for Scottie's 2am feeding and you're down in the living room, watching TV in the dark. Violet comes out of her room to get water and sees her mother awake on the couch. She just walks past with her water bottle not saying anything at all and grabs water from the fridge. Moving to go back to her room you finally say something.
"Not even gonna say hi?" Violet stops as she's about to step into the hallway, looking over her shoulder and nods.
"Hi..."
"You wanna sit with me for a few minutes?" Violet nods again, walking over and sitting at the other end of the couch. This is the farthest she's ever been from you in a long time. The air is thick and tense as you both watch whatever you have on.
"You okay?" Violet takes a sip of her water, nodding again, but she won't look at you.
The silence fills the room again, making the TV way too loud to you as you start thinking.
"This reminds me of when you were 3..." You smile, finally getting her attention to look at you.
"You got so mad at your father for giving me kisses first before you when he got back from a work trip and you refused to talk to him for 2 hours."
"I don't remember that." She moves closer, curling up into your side. You put your arm around her and kiss the top of her head. Smelling her lavender scent with an even bigger smile.
"Of course you don't, you were too little... Are you mad at me?" Violet tenses up under your touch. You look down lifting her face up, her eyes meeting yours. Slightly damp.
"Not mad just... Left out." The realization hits you. Ever since the baby was born you'd been so preoccupied making sure Cecilia knew you still loved her and take care of Scott... You forgot that your oldest still needed reassurance, even at her age.
"Aw, sweet pea... I'm sorry." You hug her tightly, rubbing her back as she hugs you for dear life.
"It's okay."
"No it's not. You deserve time with me... I know you sure as hell need a break from your father... He's so far up your ass he could tell you what your insides look like." She chuckles, smiling for the first time in a while as you kiss her forehead.
"Can we spend time together?"
"Of course honey! If you want to spend time with me or ever just need me we please tell me. I grew up with grandma and I'm thankful for her but she smothered me... So I thought giving you space was the right idea. I guess I gave you too much."
You sit back, continuing to rub her back as she relaxes into your side, thinking about anything and everything you could do together.
"Okay... How about instead of you doing daddy daughter day with your sister you come out with me? You always look so miserable when you come home from those."
"Ah... We always do such... Kiddie stuff. It's boring but I just can't tell Dad."
"Well, we can do more adult stuff together... Like, get a Mani Pedi... Go shopping, eat and maybe a movie? Would you like that?"
"I'd like that a lot actually... Thanks."
"Of course baby. Anything for you." You hug her tight again, squeezing her to you as she groans.
"Mommy please, I can't breathe." You let her go, smiling and holding her at arms length.
"Did you just call me Mommy?!" She looks embarrassed for a moment.
"Felt right... Just don't tell Dad or neither of us will hear the end of it."

“That’s poison ivy, and that’s poison ivy-” Ha-na timidly itched her arms glaring down at the tall grass, Mo-mi who struggled to carry her own backpack; filled with food and essentials from the store, rolled her eyes. “Not every fucking plant is poison ivy, Ha-na.” She grunted out.
The two walked through an open field, overlooking a lake. Sunlight beamed over their silhouettes, while birds chirped in the distance, a rare look for the setting in the homeless area. “Are we gonna be there soon?” Mo-mi whined, “You’ve been asking that for the past 10 minutes, nothing has changed.” Ha-na grumbled, in which the other girl sighed. “Maybe if I wasn’t carrying the heaviest bags of the bunch.”
Hana stared down at the map in one hand, ignoring her friend’s complaints. Her eyes lit up, “Ooh! We’re getting closer I think.”
Mo-mi glanced over briefly, “Don’t play with me.” She raised a brow. Hana shook her off with a small wave of her palm, “It’s fine, we’ll be there at dawn, probably?”
Mo-mi immediately dropped the bag, laying on the grass, “What do you mean, ‘probably’? That’s still too long.” She puffed her lips up. Hana stared down at the girl in amusement. She takes a seat next to her, “Do you need a break?” Mo-mi nodded, “Just a bit.” Throwing an arm over her eye to block out the golden rays shining in her eyes.
Hana looked down at her watch, “Well, we’re gonna go soon. So hurry-” The minute those words left her mouth, Mo-mi was fast asleep.
So the day went on.
—
Mo-mi’s eyes twitched open to the sound of crunching, as if someone was eating chips. Low and behold when she rubbed her eyes and glanced to the side, Hana had her mouth stuffed with chips as she doodled on a little notepad she found inside of her duffel. Hana swiftly turned around upon hearing the chuckle that came from behind her. “Don’t scare me like that!” She placed a hand on her chest, letting out a small huff. Mo-mi scoffed, “You’re the one who woke me up with your loud chewing.” Hana slowly gulped her food down with red cheeks, before glancing down at her watch. “We need to go.” She huffed, placing her chips down.
“Jesus. How long did I sleep?” Mo-mi yawned, standing up, glancing up at the sky with squint, the atmosphere darker than before she had slept. “A couple hours. I didn’t want to go through the pain of waking you up, so I let you sleep.”
Mo-mi grinned softly tilting her head to the side, “Aw-”
“Yeah, whatever. Carry your bags.” Hana shoved the the heavy bag and her belongings into her arms. Mo-mi rolled her eyes as they both got their gear on, “I take it back.”
“Ready?”
“Yeah, let’s go.”
—
Hana and Mo-mi made their way down a hill, the moonlight sparkling over the dark blue water, the sprinkles of water since it was about to rain, nothing but small crickets in the distance and silence, or what should’ve been silence for the two considering the small argument Mo-mi may have started. In the girl’s defense, all she asked was a simple question. ‘Are cat’s better than dogs?’
“Dogs have many beneficial qualities that help humans, alright?” Mo-mi rolled her eyes at Hana’s assumption, “Oh alright Bill Nye, where did you get your information from, google? Cause clearly…” Mo-mi glanced around, “There’s no cell tower around here.”
“So what?”
“So your information is wrong and I'm right.” Hana glanced over appalled, “Actually, no, that’s not how that works. i’m not bull-shitting, alright? I’ve had a dog before-”
“Yes. Five years ago.” Mo-mi deadpanned. “Doesn’t mean anything has changed.” Hana snapped as the other girl placed her hands up in defense, “My reason is valid.”
“No it’s-”
Mo-mi stopped, huffing out a small ‘shut up’ staring ahead. “Look.” They both stared at what looked like a big house, or what looked to be a home. A bunch of bushes and trees, sticks and wire, covered the opening, it looked as if someone moved them there to keep people out. Hana nodded her head towards them, both immediately pushing past the tree branches and barbed wire with ease. The two looked up, welcomed with a huge dark, looking wearhouse. As big as a building almost. “Oh my god…” Mo-mi gasped. Hana nodded, staring up with the same amount of amazement in her eyes as Mo.
“Alright, no offense but when the hell did the homeless start building cool things?” Mo-mi turned to Hana who ran a hand down her face. “I don’t know, but someone is definitely living here.” She nodded assuredly. Mo-mi furrowed her brows, “You don’t know that?” Hana went to protest until Mo-mi cut her off, “We can just check, alright? If there are, we can leave. Simple.” Hana rolled her eyes, “Fine, but if we get caught, I swear-”
“We won’t. Chill.”
—
Unfortunately, their small heist didn’t go on for too long. As the two moved around the perimeter of the warehouse, Ha-na made the move of knocking on the door, only for it to slowly creak open. “That’s creepy...” Mo-mi muttered from under her scarf, Ha-na nodded in agreement before placing a palm on Mo-mi’s shoulder, “You check the outside, i’ll get the inside.” Mo-mi nodded as they both parted ways. The shorter girl’s steps were light against the cold floor on the inside, the girl was met with a homey space, well homey to a man. The scene looked as if it were to be on a set of a movie, very put together as if someone had been living there.
Skateboards were lined up on the wall, paint splatters used as decoration, a leftover pizza box on the put together coffee table, soda cans, etc.
It was oddly clean, ‘A boy definitely lives here…or a couple at least?’ Hana thought. As she looked through the house, Mo-mi snuck around the backyard, finding a garage. She raised a brow, staring down at the half assed toy buttons to open the door, one red one green. Once pressing her finger down on the green button, the door lifted only to reveal a shiny looking car, spray painted with tons of colors and various different words with orange road cones lined along the roof. One recurring word that stood out to Mo-mi was the ‘SKZ’ was spray painted on the front doors. She hummed with a small frown, walking off.
Hana walked all around the house to see what she’d find. What had her on edge was that every door was open, no equipment nor shoes lying around, just empty. She was greeted with a small door at the end of the stairs she walked down. She looked down at the rusted lock hanging with a chain wrapped around the handle, it had been a small door down that led to what she would assume was a basement. Making an attempt to pry it open or unlock the small lock hanging on the handle wasn’t enough, it was as if it got budged or blocked. Hana swiftly smacked down the lock on the door with the handle of her scythe, successfully opening the door. She carried on down the wooden steps, coming face to face with a large white room with a bunch of motorcycles lined up. Huge bikes, all spray painted on. Ha-na’s jaw dropped, she couldn’t even count the amount if she wanted to. ‘This person must love bikes’ She thought.
“Jesus.” Hana muttered, only to hear the resounding noise of a gun clock.
Before Ha-na could take stance, a bullet flew past her shoulder. She let out a small yelp, her hand gripping where the bullet grazed. turning around to see a flash of white hair and smoke move behind a small wall. The lights turned off just when Ha-na went to grab her scythe. “Whoever the hell is here, stop fucking around!” The girl yelped, her breathing fastening, her body tense but ready to pounce as she looked around. Once hearing the small snort of laughter that came from behind her, definitely too deep to be Mo-mi’s, she took cover just before an array of bullets flew her way.
On the other side of the door, Mo-mi’s head shot up from her knees upon hearing the gunshots. She stood up from the floor and called out, “Ha-na? Ha-na!” Her eyes darting around her surroundings. She tried to yank open the door that was previously open before, now locked. “What the fu-” just as her fists made contact to bang on the door, an arrow flew past her head, multiple actually. Mo-mi ducked and whipped around to see where the arrows were shot from. Through the bushes near the woods, Mo-mi couldn’t fully identify who it was due to the darkness. The person finally stood up, making the glare from the porch light cascade over over the mask they had on. To Mo-mi it looked to be a girl at first due of the brown bun they rocked, but it had to have been a man due to his height and the muscle he was packing, the only thing that wasn’t revealed was his face, covered by a cat mask.
Mo-mi moved to walk up to him, “Who the hell are-” only to be cut off by someone kicking her in the back, almost sending her forward off her feet. She groaned and glanced up from the ground to be met with another guy, this one had been shorter, bright blond hair and bangs with red streaks. A red jacket and a white ripped crop top, showing his abdomen. This ones mask was yellow, resembling a chick. Not a cat, but a yellow chick. “What is this? some kind of cult?’ Mo-mi genuinely thought. The girl went to look for her bow, glancing down at the ground where her backpack was supposed to be, but had been in the hands of the taller man.
He tossed it into the bushes, as the smaller guy ressasured him. “I’ve got this one, go help the others.” He spoke in Korean, as if giving him a signal to leave. The low register of his voice shocked the girl, as she watched his friend nod and unlock the door with the end of her bow with ease, walking in. The masked man’s head slowly turned back, almost as if a switch went off in his head, but Mo-mi knew how to play nasty too.
She watched as he took one of his swords off his back, this didn’t faze Mo-mi. In fact, once he swung his sword down to hit her she swiftly moved back, initially dodging the blade of the weapon. Their speed matched up to one anothers. Mo-mi was a pretty skilled fighter, but her tactics barely stood against his own. Knowing this, the same moves she made wasn’t going to hold him off forever. So she ran off, leading him back behind the house, where she wanted him.
Meanwhile, Ha-na winced, covering her ears at the loud sound of gunshots hitting her ears, bullets flying past her, not only from one person but two, one had a fox mask while the other had a bunny one. She was hidden behind a small pillar, which wouldn’t act as a barrier for long considering how much they shot at it.
Until it stopped, followed by silence. The air was sharp, warm, as if someone was about to make a move. Just as Do Ha-na moved to grab her weapon, she felt a harsh tug on the back of her hood, pulling her up over the counter. Ha-na yelped loudly making eye contact with bunny mask. Acting quickly, she kicked him in the stomach making him stumbling back.
Bunny clearly wasn’t affected, nor did he even budge. The other male in the back, fox mask, laid back against the wall lighting another cigarette. His gun fell to the floor, Hana could practically feel the smirks sprawled across their faces. “This’ll be fun.” White hair chuckled, bunny mask rolled his white sleeves up nodding his head. “Make a move.”
Hana scoffed, cracking her neck, knowing the two were only trying to rile her up more. She replicated the head nod back, the man sighed in response. Cracking his knuckles, he made the first move by lunging at her, throwing fists, in which she swiftly blocked. The man ended up being able to get Hana to a disadvantage after she went to throw a punch, grabbing her arm and using it to flip her onto her back. The move almost knocked the air from out her lungs.
She spun in a circle, rounding her feet over his arm, replicating the same move he used on her. Only this time he was able to throw her off him, using his strength…and he was very strong. Ha-na was punched.
Mo-mi was kicked. In the nose. She stumbled back while wiping her leaking nose; glaring at the blonde male stalking towards her. She swerved and slid across the concrete with such ease just to get away from his blatant attacks. Leaping away from him, she used his shoulder as a leverage once he swiped at her with the sword. The two both fall back from the force, Mo-mi rolling into the garage of the wearhouse.
Before Mo-mi could get up, he was fast on his feet, sprinting at her with the sword ready to attack her with. Upon swinging his blade at her she ducked and rolled, the blade hitting the side of the house, initially breaking the sword in half with a resounding ‘clink’. Mo-mi chuckled, watching as the man shook his head and dropped the rest of the sword onto the cement. “You think this is funny?” The man spoke in english. His voice was not only deep but held a thick australian accent. The moment was amusing to the girl. Not much for him.
Hana was pushed down into a chokehold onto the floor, she gasped for air as the man spoke into her ear. “Who are you?” He hissed, tightening his grip when she didn’t answer. “Not gonna answer me?” He huffed. Hana seethed, immediately gripping onto his forearms, letting her powers burn his arm with a bright light coursing through them. He yelped loudly, yanking his arms back, falling back onto the floor. “The fuck was that?!” The platinum exclaimed, grabbing his gun just as bunny stood up, the two left utter silence.
“Listen to me, or else I won’t hesitate to kill the both of you.” Hana pointed her scythe that radiated a gold glow, she panted seeing as the two didn’t make any moves to stop her. “You’re-”
“I-” She stuttered, just realizing what she had done by outing not only herself, but Mo-mi as well. All of a sudden she felt hot sparks of electricity crack up her sides before she fell to the ground, instantly passing out. The man who tased her, had stood behind her figure with a wolf mask. “You two go find the other, I’ll take this one.” He spoke, grabbing the girl by her sides, tossing her body over his shoulder with ease.
—
Mo-mi was about to get ganged up on by the rest of the men that surrounded her, and time was running out. They stared down at her with impulsive eyes. It was as if she were prey and they were the wolves. That was till the smoky black mist that manifested from her palms, exerted out towards the 7 men. The shock wave sent them back onto the ground, the force practically knocking the wind from half their lungs. They were all left groaning as Mo-mi laid unconscious.
That’s when Wolf mask entered the room, his buff arms folded, he was amused.
“Let’s clear out.”

what do u think the alliances favourite form of media is? (books, poetry, music, movies etc.) now that they’re able to freely enjoy such things
Hiya!
Oh well xD I have some strong opinions on this one.
For Armin, his fascination with books will not cease, obviously, and good for him if he finds a library he can spend all day cooped up in, reading about wonderful new things. But also, I like thinking that he's gonna enjoy music a lot. Once he gets his hands on some records, and the Alliance hauls a gramophone into their house, he's going to really become a music enthusiast. I see him bonding with Pieck over their mutual love for good music.
(also. Once he discovers a new machine or contraption or invention, it's over for everyone.)
Annie - well @aquietjune introduced the image of Annie being a movies lover, and it's been stuck in my head ever since xD It's just adorable to think she enjoys going to watch the moving pictures and can spend any amount of time there. But aside from this, while I think she's not much of a book person, I like the idea of her enjoying crossword puzzles a lot. She'd like to have something to keep her mind busy and they're good for that. Ofc, this means Armin and her can have dining table dates where he's reading a book and she's doing a puzzle and he helps her with words when they're being particularly difficult.
Jean - XD oh god. I imagine this guy likes activities that exude an air of elegance and class. This could be painting, or an interest in fine art, and poetry, museums, art galleries, the like. I think he'd also enjoy the movies and maybe he and Annie could go together for a few (tho she's not having any of his intellectual put-on opinions on them).
Pieck - she's gonna be a plant lady 100%. There will be so many plants in her room and in the house that a giant leaf is smacking everyone in the face wherever they go. I just think she's going to find some comfort raising baby plants especially if we consider that she's the only real "odd one out" in the Alliance. She's lost everyone she knew and loved and is a newcomer among the others. But! There's also the music! She's got good taste in music and I imagine she's going to find some closeness with Armin in this interest.
As for Connie and Reiner. See, I really think they'd enjoy festivals and carnivals and board games and shooting games haha xD Not that any of the others would enjoy them less, but they're the first to make a beeline if there's something going on somewhere. Reiner canonically enjoys playing chess too (if I'm remembering right, he used to play a lot with Armin during their cadet years). Connie would enjoy mimicry and jesting shows(?) a lot (plenty to laugh at) and I think Reiner would also enjoy romance novels a lot and get too involved in the drama. I just like making fun of him a lot sorry
Not related to media but I think taking care of pets would help them all, but Reiner in specific. Not going into details here cuz that is another tangent, but for someone with so many suicidal thoughts and ideations, finding joy in bonding with a dog or cat or any animal really, would be good for him.
Falco and Gabi? - they probably love everything! Though Gabi is too restless to sit in one place for anything too long lol. Falco would probably get great book recs from Armin.
Levi - leave the man alone in peace, he's got a tea shop. (But I also hc that he likes the radio a lot)
Mikasa? - I think she'd also like radio broadcasts a lot, and going to plays. I have a very hard time getting into her headspace 🥲

Just watched Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 a few days ago. And I mean this with 100% sincerity—I don't think I've ever watched a movie so good it made me want to rewatch it in cinemas, until this one.
Anyway, here are some thoughts that have been spinning around in my head like a microwave lol. And feel free to add your own stuff. I'd genuinely love to read more of other people's takes :)
Uhhh surprise most of this is gonna be about Rocket
Spoilers Below!
The entire opening. I've listened to the acoustic version of Creep at least a billion times since watching it
I love that the stakes start relatively small. They're not going (initially) to save the entire galaxy or anything. They just need to save a member of their family. That's all you need to care
Mantis getting more character development is always really nice to see. She gives me the vibes of a therapist friend, which makes her ending of needing to part from the group to find herself quite satisfying
Nebula. Just Nebula. I love her
I think the movie handled the flashback scenes very well, especially the ones that featured heavy animal cruelty. Choosing not to show any visuals, just audio of a young Rocket screaming in pain. You can feel the horror of the Guardians as they watch the data they gathered
I like the brief scene of baby Rocket pocketing some of the High Evolutionary's tech. Especially once it's revealed he was hiding all the necessary components to recreate a keycard for the cages—something I don't think he would've done if he really had faith the High Evolutionary would let him and his friends free
When the High Evolutionary put a turtle in one of his pods, there was a little kid in the cinema who said, "Ninja turtle!" Which is great 'cause that's also what I was thinking lol
That same kid also really freaked out (/pos) when Peter dropped that f-bomb. It was really cute
I also love that Vocaloid is apparently a staple bit of pop-culture on Counter-Earth? Because that implies either:
A) The High Evolutionary thought it was literally the perfect music genre OR
B) He counted it as one of the many mistakes on his 'Reasons To Explode An Entire Planet I Spent Years Figuring Out A Way To Speed Up Evolution For' list
I'd like to just take a moment to appreciate how great of an actor Chukwudi Iwuji is??? Like, when the High Evolutionary drags Rocket to the pods and hysterically questions how? How could he have known what to do? How could this vermin be more intelligent than his creator? How dare he look down on him?! I was scared shitless
Just... Rocket's scream of anguish once Lylla is dead. After having hugged for the first and last time. Sends shivers up my spine
Floor's repetition of "Rocket, Teefs, Floor go now! Rocket, Teefs, Floor go now!" has been ingrained into my brain for the rest of time (Major shout out to the voice actor, Mikaela Hoover!)
And then the High Evolutionary has the gall to mock Rocket, calling his grief a crying contest. I already hated this bastard but oh boy—!
Which makes Rocket's reaction so cathartic, when he jumps and scratches the High Evolutionary's face off. But his friends are telling him they have to go. They have to go now! Pleading with him as reineforcements arrive until...
They go quiet. And you can't help the dread bubbling inside you. Because we all knew how it was going to end, but we hoped, just maybe, we would be proven wrong
We weren't
Rocket, on the brink of death as Peter screams for him to be alright, seeing his friends in a white void, stacks of cages barely visible behind him. They're flying, they can see the neverending sky! "Can I join you?" he asks.
"Of course. But it's not your time yet."
Me: :')
Rocket seeing a cage of baby animals that look like him, after decades of thinking he was the only one in the universe. Looking at the plaque to see 'Racoon'—that's what he is? That's what he is!
Followed by him immediately scooping them all into his arms. Doesn't matter if they can't fit, or if some of them scramble onto his back. They can't go through what he went through, they just can't!
Rocket seeing the High Evolutionary after all these years of running, being beaten and thrown around, insult after insult flung at him—"How dare you think you are more?! 89P13!"
Before Rocket changes the gravity—one of the things the High Evolutionary boasted only he could control—and declaring, "Name's Rocket. Rocket Racoon."
He uses his name. He's not only found belonging with the baby racoons he just saved, this is also the first time his torturer hears his chosen name from his own mouth. He's saying, "I am not just a string of numbers! I am not just part of a batch of 'failed' experiments! I am my own being!!"
The reveal of the High Evolutionary's actual face was gross in all the best ways. The makeup was just *chef's kiss*
Rocket insisting they have to get the animals out too, even though the initial mission was to just get the children out, and the other Guardians going along with it because they can see how important it is to him makes me smile
Peter fucking Quill going back for the Zune, not for him, but so that he can give it to Rocket!!!
For real, I was actually worried that they would kill him off. The stakes were that convincing
I like that Peter and Gamora don't end back together. It's realistic, and more importantly, it feels like the characters made that decision themselves and not a bunch of writers forcing something between them. And Gamora has grown to care for the group now, even if she'll never return to how she was before
The fact that we can understand Groot because we're part of the family now ❤️❤️❤️
I genuinely don't get why some people thought ending with a dance party was weird/bad? Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a dancer so I associate it a lot with my emotions. But if any movie deserves to go out with a dance party, it's this one. It feels so...relieving, seeing everyone on Knowhere smiling and having fun together
(And, of course, I've also been looping Dog Days Are Over a billion times and smiling stupidly to myself)
And Peter finally returning to Earth, seeing his grandfather, who immediately gets up to hug him? Tears, just like that haha
I also adore both end credits scenes. Adorable

okay i can't get it out of my mind - tini dump about kate cinderella girls, and my dreams for both international girls and the producer ( aka developing oc man )
the international / foreign girls in imas: cinderella girls (as far as i'm aware) are Frederica Miyamoto (french-japanese, voiced), Yao Fueifuei (hong kong, unvoiced), Clarice (vague european (personally french or dutch inspo), unvoiced), Anastasia (russian-japanese, voiced), Layla (Dubai / UAE, voiced), Kate (London / England, unvoiced), Helen (vague european / american (personally italian / mexican inspo), unvoiced), Natalia (Rio de Janeiro / Brazil, voiced), Eve Santaclaus (Greenland, voiced), Cathy Graham (american-japanese (born in new york but has lived in japan) unvoiced), and Mary Cochran (San Francisco / America, unvoiced). I don't include Shiki here because, although she studied in American, she's Japanese and isn't from anywhere over there. I also don't include the three Korean-exclusive deresute characters since they're discontinued after that server shut down (but also shoutout to them I love them too). However they are all side characters, just not a part of the project.
Kate is my favorite unvoiced girl, specifically because our names are similar, as well as slight backstory stuff (her love for her parents; "She's an exceedingly friendly and social person, often greeting everyone she passes by. She's also very touchy in comparison to other idols, enjoying giving others hugs or kisses to show her affection." from her wiki page / events, very me coded). So, in my International Girls imas cingirls idea, Kate is the true protagonist, with Natalia being the leader of the group and acts like a dual protagonist. While she's not the first of the international girls to be voiced (that order being Anya > Freddy > Natalia way later > Layla > Eve most recently as of literally Christmas; congrats to her cingirl first place), I wanna give Natalia bunches of love and more spotlight to get fleshed out as a character as well, as well as her and Kate becoming besties. The International Girls story would just be them forming into a unit, learning to appreciate their differences as well as come to feel like a cohesive unit despite them, and ultimately proving themselves as idols on the stage.
The Producer for that idea, in my mind, is Lotus Juice (LotusP, if you will), since he's proven himself in his own field, is from New Jersey and fluent in both english and japanese, and is also in a duo unit with TakeP aka Takeuchi Shunsuke aka the producer for cinderella girls, so it all just make sense in my mind. Story-wise - LotusP gets invited to the job after TakeP offers it to him as a friendly favor, since they both went to college together and / or went up in the ranks together before TakeP started raising idols / doing his cinderella girls "power of smile" project. Inspired by him, and not wanting to look a gifted horse in the mouth, the rougher and older man accepts, with TakeP being his occasional talking partner for advice. LotusP, in my mind, is suddenly named Austin in my mind (don't ask why idk). And he just kinda acts like Lotus Juice (chill older guy who seems kinda gruff, but is really mature), yet also has like a rough tsun thing going as he's not at all good with taking compliment, and gets dragged into scenarios and forced to play the straight man for gags. It's almost like he doesn't want to be a producer, but he needs a job and wants to stay in the music biz, but he ultimately takes his job (taking care of all the girls' and their schedules, as well as personally helping with some of their songs' production) very seriously.
Another thing I wanted to look into for a bit of drama is idol v school life, specifically as Kate is an international study abroad uni student that becomes an idol. In the end, like in her stories, she proves to her dad that she can be an idol and go to school, and at the very end she graduates and becomes an idol full time. Freddy is also in college for design; she can graduate too as a treat. It also makes me want to make Kate/Nat/Freddy triple protags, as it fills out the kind of NewGen-esque protags the original cingirls had, as well as I think they'd make good friends.
(Also, if anyone asks, Layla's backstory of running away from a planned marriage to Japan with the support of her mother but keeping the father in the dark...I literally just learned that TODAY, which was WILD, and yes in my plotline idk if I wanna explore that or just ignore that so! Hmm!!!!)
Also the eleven full group's unit song would be titled "Universal Parade", after the unit in the mobage game (which originally consists of CathyNatKateMaryFreYao), and their outfits would be similar to the unit "Your Friends" (NatKateMary) outfit set in the original mobage as well (without the fluffy bit or with the fluffy bit reincorporated somehow).
Also the actual outfits for NatLayla's unit "Sol Qamar" is very cool.
