I don't even know where to begin.

I just wrote possibly what is my most effusively adoring Jimin post and maybe it's also the lack of sleep making me slightly delirious but I nearly burst into tears just now trying to reply to you talking about Hobi. Because y'all, my emotions are completely fried right now. Hobi has completely wrecked and destabilized me with On The Street. Part of the reason I'm here is because of how happy I feel, and it is 100% the result of his music, that song in particular, and what it confirms to me for the umpeenth time about who Hoseok is.

Y'all, I'm so happy for him. Like I'm sitting on my couch, wig off, feet up, running my hands down my face every two seconds through my hair clutching my fro to ground myself while On The Street plays on surround sound.

Everything about On The Street is perfect. I'll write an actual review once I've calmed down but Jesus it's so fucking good.

J Cole is an artist notorious for pulling no punches and being real with the music he makes and who he makes it with. Like Jermaine is one of a handful of rappers that Kendrick gives full cred to. I've been fighting the urge to scream since this song dropped like y'all have no idea how incredible, how legendary this collaboration is precisely because of the sort of artist both J Cole and J-hope are, and I can only imagine how Hobi feels right now.

All the guys are meeting their heroes and rather than it being an unpleasant experience, they've all developed so much as artists already that their first collaborations with their heroes is mutually satisfying and underpinned by mutual respect.

Everything about this song is so beautiful and I hope you're able to enjoy listening to it very often.

ratchet for the ask game?

Something this character is truly proud of.      Hmmmm… I would have to say doing the right thing. Be it himself doing the right thing, or others doing the right thing. Also, seeing others be able to grow into a better person than they once were.

2) Who they want to please the most.       HAH- at face value I’d say no one. You not happy with him- big whoop. But I think behind that uncaring façade, he’d really want to please everyone- within respectable limits that is. He’d likely really want to please co-workers- to ensure everyone works together in teamwork and to the best of their ability. Of curse, I’ll also have to state Drift- of course he’d want to keep his conjunx happy and approving of him.

3) Who depends on them.    The rest of the medical staff- be it for assistance, knowledge, or simply guidance.

4) What they would do if they had one month to live. Honestly, I thing Ratchet wouldn’t say much or even act any different. As the time came closer, he may get a little sadder and perhaps a little clingier than usual with drift. But I feel he would keep that burdon to bare himself.

5) A cherished personal belonging.  Egads…. His hands? I don’t really see him getting sentimentally attached to much of anything. But perhaps there is a little trinket that Drift presented to him that he stows away in his subspace that he looks at from time to time. He’ll deny it of course if asked…

6) Something they lost, but would love to have back. For real? Can I say his hands again? But it wouldn’t be his physical hands…. Be more his youthfulness that his hands no longer freezed up and such. To have his frame work smoothly like it done in his younger days.

7) This character’s favorite character. Patch Adams, hands down. While the humor may not quite tickle his fancy, I’d bank deep down, he stands behind the values Patch Adams had.

8) What kind of car they would drive. Im not gonna be a silly willy and say an ambulance. But It would def be an older car, may not be the prettiest, but is reliable and gets the job done. Wouldn’t have all thebells and whistles. Brand- Im not really thinking of anything specific, but I simply imagine as long as the vehicle has the few things he wants, he’d be fine with it. He wouldn’t be choosy or need something flashy. Practical and reliable

9) What calms them when they are upset. Oh boy… of course Im gonna shout out food. Home cooked meals always hit the spot, warm, savory dishes that are topped off with something sweet for dessert.

10) How they deal with pain. Grins and bears it. Plain and simple.

11) This character’s favorite piece or pieces of clothing. AHHHHh I could totally see Ratchet wearing a soft scarf…..

12) How they sleep.  I’d say on his back it pillows pilled up under his helm. I’d bank on him being a snorer as well.

13) What kind of parent they would be. Hmmm…. He wouldn’t be on any extreme type of level, but he would be strick and have expectations of good academic grades. Not to the point his child couldn’t have fun or if they got an A instead of an A+ it was the end of the world. It would be clear that the child would be loved, but I don’t picture him being overly showy with his affection.

14) How they did in school. Excelled- took his studies very very seriously. Academics came first and foremost.

15) What cologne or perfume they would use. AHHHHH something musky. I love musk perfumes/colognes! Second option is the cologne thagt smells like a pine forest.

16) Their sexuality. I see him more on the monogomy side- choosing really only to be intimate with one partner. Let’s face is: Ratchet isn’t overly lovey-dovey in nature, but with his special someone, moments of infatuation shine through. I don’t see him as being sex crazed nympho, but not really a prude either. He keeps berth talk to the berth. Unless when it happens on the couch… I do agree he was quite the partier in his younger days, but has since calmed down.

17) What they’d sing at karaoke. Dude, he wouldn’t. He would never get up and sing on his own free will. But if he was forced… the shortest song on the list? TBH, I really can’t think of what song he would really sing…. Prob something classic rock or something.

18) Special talents they have-Being able to talk the truth of of people with little white lies. Feeling ill but don’t want a check up so one fibs? Ratchet catches on and knows just what to ask to fish for more information.

19) When they feel safest- at home, all tucked into his berth. That warm comforter thrown over his body just makes him feel so warm and cozy and secure.

20) Household chore they hate the most- I’d say vacuuming/dusting. I don’t picture Ratchet having a lot of knickknacks, but I think Drift would, so dusting would be painfully annoying. Vacuming- he’d just think is dumb. I can see the appeal for washing dishes and scrubbing things clean- germ removal, but those 2 are just seen as menial.

21) Their fondest childhood memory-I always go with coming home from school to a nice homecooked meal from his mother/carrier. It was always something reliable, tasty, and bound to put him in a better mood. Just being able to talk about his day over a meal with his carrier brought a smile to his lips, and it always c=made him cheerful.

22) How they spend their money. Generally frugally. Mostly buys the necessities, things that are practical and of good use. Now, if he is buying for someone else ( like Drift) he is not cheap- nothing is too good for his lover. But himself-he does not splurge or go over the top.

23) What kind of alcohol they drink. I’d say one of the fruity mixed drinks, or some smooth sipping whiskey. Once again, his days of wild drinking and partying are long over. However, sometimes he does get tipsy on the mixed drinks…

24) What they wish they could change about themselves. Egads, sadly, his appearance. Not so much that he thinks he is ugly, just the classic trope that one reads a lot ‘box on wheels’ kinda thing. Yes, his frame is practical to his profession, but he often wonders what Drift sees in him when the swordsmech claims he has a smoking hot frame. Like, ratchet is so…. Square.

25) What other people wish they could change about them. Not be so grumpy all the time? Not throw wrenches…not have smart comebacks…routine check ups should only happen once a lifetime… but seriously, probably to let loose a bit more- like, he aint untight like Ultra Magnus…. But life isn’t always about work… take time to himself more…. Stuff like that.

loona pm - early walk cycle!

ok i SAID i wasnt gonna post anything else tonight but i FINALLY figured out how to get animating movement to work thank god. turns out it was one button i missed. so uh. just gonna gloss over that. i made a proper digitigrade walk cycle for loona which AHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM SO PROUD SHE LOOKS SO COOL!!!! it has some extra little details like the tail wagging more when moving. theres some little bits of this cycle i need to figure out, a handful of little bits i need to work out (i didnt check if the angles/positions are identical on the leg segments, so it isnt entirely even.) and some extra stuff like the hair flowing a bit more and maybe the rest of the body bobbing up n down a bit? it feels really stilted watching her kinda glide across the screen here. i want to get REALLY extra with the running animation when i get to that. like i want it to be really feral n stuff which is gonna rule. ive also realized a bunch of other bits i want to add, like adding a glow effect to her eyes. so hey! this model is getting some pretty significant progress on it! i might or might not add the armor at this point, i put a lot of effort into it but ahhhhh cpm armor is the worst thing ever created. i also want to create some emotes, maybe a blink anim, etc. ive gotten so attached to this little model i love her so much. idk i just want to add a lot of detail to this model cos godddd modeling is like so much fun. actually configuring stuff is a manmade horror beyond my comprehension, but when it starts flowing n it comes together in the model... god... i cant get over it.

⏳ - i am quite literally the slowest writer ever, on average i have like 20 days between chapters posting because i get chronic writers block and all that lovely stuff!! but yeah id say it normally takes around 2 weeks for me to do a chapter from scratch!!

🙋‍♀️ - nope!! aside from some of my tumblr mutuals i literally dont know anyone irl who also writes fics (the amount of times ive had to make up a fake plot to explain why i spend so much time writing HELP)

🤡 - ohhh probably in chapter 2 "Right - The Inbetweeners and the two remaining Beatles: Fuck off. " when one of the other characters is referring to the rest of the monkeys and alex + miles (dead proud of myself for that one 😭)

🎶 - yeah ahh i literally cant write without music, mostly i just listen through am + mk's entire discography but besides that- right now my top 3 on repeat for writing rn are:
