Inu... INUYASHA... and SESSHOMARU... She came across the names again. Again and again she heard someone calling them. She saw images and memories. As if they were following her. As if she was connected to them, one with them. Bathed in sweat, she woke up. Disoriented, she looked around. It was dark, night. She was at home. Lying in her bed. It was just a dream. But so real. Once again. What did this mean?
Two worlds, different times. Connected by a fountain. Silver-white hair from birth, disguised as a blonde, growing up in Italy under a different name, a different appearance and without any memory who she really is.

Inuyasha Bingo Bonanza 2022
happy november lovelies! 💕 So excited for the many things coming this month
Tōtōsai’s Craft
read on ao3
“Thank you all for gathering for the special occasion as we share in the happiness of Inuyasha and Kagome….” The old priestess announced with a grin, Tōtōsai placing Myōga on his left shoulder so the flea could see better. Giving the clearing a solid observation, he hummed his approval.
The happy couple held hands, both the hanyō and miko clothed in traditional human wedding attire while the ones they considered family surrounded them as they began their vows in front of the Goshinboku. To their left, clutching three tiny children, were the monk and taijiya with the tiny fox kit at their feet.
To the right of the tree, much to his surprise, was Sesshōmaru and his little following, the human girl and the imp. If anyone were to glance at the daiyōukai, they would think he was bored, but if you knew the demon, you could see the faintest hints of a smile on his lips and a flash of sincerity in his eyes. Seems as if the pups are getting along well these days. Though, I suppose that has something to do with the defeat of that awful spider hanyō.
“Master Tōtōsai,” Myōga whispered, “I never thought this day would come, especially between the two brothers. The Inu no Taishō’s final wishes are coming true.”
He hummed his approval. As the gray haired human continued to speak, his mind filled with the memory of his first meeting with Tōga, Lord of the West, centuries ago.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hammer swinging down, the blade morphing to his will, Tōtōsai almost missed the faint footsteps coming to stop behind him. He paused for a second, the stranger’s non-threatening, but powerful aura washing over him.
“Go away, I don’t have time for whatever ya need.” He grumbled, raising his hammer once more.
“Not even for the Lord of the West?” A deep voice chuckled. Sighing, he lowered his arm, deciding it time for a break anyways. He loved what he did, his particular craft of weapons were known all over the countryside, even far enough to the west it seemed, but sometimes this cave was just too damn hot. Turning around, he beckoned the Lord closer, peering at him in the cave’s light.
“Tōtōsai, I presume?” The inu daiyōukai smiled, his fangs gleaming.
“Yah, what do ya need?” He wiped the sweat from his brow, taking in his appearance. While Tōtōsai wore a simple forest green and black striped kimono, this demon wore a white kimono and hakama, a hadagi undershirt, a spiked rim attached to the upper section of his black breastplate with a "lotus petal" fauld that possess a grayish color trim, a long flowing sash with details, and armored boots that contains black, all with the addition of an eastern land’s influence.
He also wore black and light grayish purple armored gauntlets, a layered spiked pauldron on each shoulder, and a parted pelt that extends from both shoulders and trails behind him as he walks; representing the two streaks of fur running down the back of his yōkai form.
Tōga appeared as a tall and slender man. He had tan skin, slanted golden eyes with slit pupils, and long white hair that was tied up into a very high ponytail by a dark blue ribbon with short wavy bangs. Like other full-blooded yōkai, he has pointed ears as well as fangs and claws. He also had wide, jagged violet stripes on the cheeks, a magenta stripe on each eyelid, and black eyebrows.
Tōtōsai knew who he was, the Lord of the Western Lands, the Great Dog General, as many called him the Inu no Taisho, had made his way to Tōtōsai’s cave. He had heard of his strength and now, feeling his impressive demonic aura, he knew that whatever weapon this demon requested would become the most perfect thing he would ever create.
However, Tōtōsai didn’t give out swords just because someone asked, he would determine if the individual were even capable of handling such a thing, if somehow the person was planning on using it to destroy innocents, then he would send them on their way, empty handed.
“I have heard of your skills, of how you are able to infuse weapons with yōkai to defeat one’s foes.”
“Let me guess, you need me to create a sword so you can become even more powerful than you already are, to defeat some distant enemy that is coming to steal your wife or something like that?”
At his question, Tōga bursted into laughter, slapping his hand on Tōtōsai’s back so hard, he had to refrain from grunting. Damn, he is strong. Blinking slowly, he waited for the man to stop, unsure of what exactly was so funny. Maybe I’m getting senile.
“Close, but not really. I’m already strong, I just need a weapon that can harness the abilities and power from the one it’s slain.”
“If you’re so capable already, why do you need it?” He crossed his arms, trying to decipher this man’s intentions. The smile fell from his face and Tōga settled himself on a nearby stone, features passive as he explained.
“I am to create an heir and my oh-so-wise council suggests soon.” He waved his hand nonchalantly and Tōtōsai wondered if this had anything to do with his request, but stood there silently, listening. “I know that once I do, many from all over will come and attempt to take their life and their mother’s solely for the fact that they will be my heir. I want to be able to protect them at all costs and hopefully one day, gift them the sword when they have someone to protect themselves.”
“Hmmmm, it’s a noble request and I don’t get many of those.” Tōtōsai rolled his eyes at the many times men had come barging in, demanding something that would obliterate everyone in its path, only for him to light the ground at their feet on fire. “It’s doable, but I will need something of yours that will make it even stronger.”
“Anything!” Tōga leapt up, the smile back on his face.
“I need….” He grinned, ideas flowing through his head on just what he could create with such a thing. “Your fang.”
“You have a deal.” When the demon lord held out his hand, he firmly grasped it as he pulled a pair of pliers from his kimono. “Now, open wide.”
It had taken him a full fortnight to create the damn blade, “Tessaiga” as Tōga would come to call it, the “Steel-Cleaving Fang” or “Sword of Destruction”. The sword, a rusty, battered katana in its everyday form, would transform into a blade with the Inu’s own yōkai. The sheath, made from Bokusenō’s wood, protected the sword, even creating a barrier for anyone who was not capable of wielding the blade.
Its main attack, the “wind scar” as many would come to call it later, could take out a hundred lives in one stroke. It was clearly an immensely powerful weapon, one that would serve its purpose, just as he had intended.
He had to admit, when Tōga stepped out from the cave, bringing his creation to life, Tōtōsai was pretty damn proud of himself. After that, word had spread exponentially and he was booming with business. It gave him the opportunity to deny someone even more if he felt that they were not worthy enough for such a weapon. He delighted in that many times.
Years later, he was visited again by Tōga when Sesshōmaru was still a young pup, asking to split his blade in two. Not quite understanding the situation, Tōtōsai simply searched for the answer himself. He had held the blade in his palms, Tessaiga’s energy guiding him through what happened, as if it had a mind of its own.
Tōga had defeated Shishinki and gained the technique Meido Zangetsuha, but it wasn’t something that fit, the skill dangerous. He spent another fortnight removing a part of Tessaiga’s blade to create the new, thinner blade. With this one, one could use the technique, slicing a hole into the underworld, while also being able to bring someone back from the dead.
He had suggested Tōga call it “Coffin Cheater”, but much to Tōtōsai’s dismay, the demon went for Tenseiga, the ‘Heavenly Rebirth Fang” or “Sword of Life”. When he had asked what he would do with it, he replied that he was unsure, but something so powerful shouldn’t be in just anyone’s hands and he would hold onto it.
It had been many years since his last encounter with the Lord of the West, Tōtōsai never receiving an answer directly, but heard rumors about him falling in love with a human hime and a new pup arriving soon.
After Tōga's death for his final battle with Izayoi's old guardsman, the samurai Takemaru of Setsuna, Tōtōsai came to the burned mansion where he saw Myōga crying in grief, and Saya, Sō’unga’s spirited sheath, joining him. He tells them that "crying won't bring the Great Dog Demon back from the grave." and asked Myōga if he disposed of the Tessaiga according to his will, and Myōga answered that he did, he placed the Tessaiga in his master's domains located in the Border of the Afterlife and the path to it within the Black Pearl.
He knew Sesshōmaru would come hunting for Tessaiga, so he placed it in a place that would not easily be found, the daiyokai’s gravesite. Then Tōtōsai gave the Tenseiga to their old friend Bokusenō that it's for Sesshōmaru, as Myōga asked that he didn't gave it to him all by himself, he answered "If I lived so dangerously, I'd never have made it to this ripe old age."
It left one problem: Sō'unga. Saya suggested to Tōtōsai to give Sō'unga to Sesshōmaru, but Tōtōsai refused that he's already upset with them as it is, over being bequeathed Tenseiga, and Myōga thinks that they can't give it Inuyasha, because he's just a baby. Saya suggested he'd hold the sword off quietly for 700 years, and tells them to place him along with the sword into the Bone-Eater's Well in the land of Musashi.
As he headed back to his castle, hearing the soft cry of a new born babe in the distance, Tōtōsai wondered if he could ever create such a weapon ever again, putting his unique craft aside, in hopes that one day, the two sons of the great Inu no Taishō would come together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
It only took a couple hundred years, but it seems they have come together, more or less. Sesshōmaru even has a blade of his own now, with a new arm to go with. As much as he wished he could claim that he made Bakusaiga, the sword came from the daiyōukai’s own demonic power and was truly his own, surpassing his father’s power. The baka only had to give up on his obsession with Tessaiga. Even so, Tōga would be proud of how far the two have come. Inuyasha was able to wield the Tessaiga with his own yōkai intertwined, passing his father’s strength as well. Myōga was correct, the Inu no Taishō’s final wishes are coming true.
Glancing at the fangs that hung on each warrior’s hip, he felt their aura pulse out, as if greeting an old friend. Smiling softly, he was still proud of his handiwork, even if he may never find one to create such a beauty ever again.
“Oi, ya old geezer.” A hard tap on his forehead had Tōtōsai glaring at the newly wedded hanyō, “Ceremony’s done and ya fell asleep.” Insolent pup. Blinking, he tilted his head to the side, his trademark blank stare forming.
“Was that what this was?” He questioned, playing dumb.
“Forgetting things at your age, huh?” Inuyasha snickered.
“Must you insult every elder of yours, little brother?” Sesshōmaru sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Come Rin, it is time to head to the priestess’s hut.”
A bubbly giggle from his right had Tōtōsai glancing to see Kagome smiling at him with bright, blue eyes. There were rumors of her pure soul, it seems they were right. Her aura brushed against his, lifting his heart in many ways as the group began to drift towards the human village for celebration. I wonder if I could craft something with her spiritual powers. It might just be time to dust off my tools.

people ask at r*ddt why towa and sestuna didnt have dog ears
Well like the info/answers they desire was already given by Sunrise during one of their interviews. I remember seeing it posted. Apparently, since Sesshomaru's human form is very humanoid looking that's why the twins look like they look which is fine and peachy I guess but that doesn't explain their uncle Inuyasha (as Toga/Inu no Taishō has a similar form ofc) looking part dog. But I'm 100% sure it's more cause they're Pedosawa's OC DONUT STEEL and ofc, they don't have to just look GOOD, but they gotta win the genetic lottery which gave them powers that even their father and grandparents did not posses or even showed along being able to control their demon state much faster when Inuyasha had such a hard time with that, needing his sword or Kagome's spiritual powers to have some control. But to be factually blunt... This was actually mentioned in the original series by Jineji's mother when she commented that Inuyasha was one of the prettier half demons. Like Yokai (ofc in part humans) half demons can come in all shapes, yōkai of the Daiyōkai hierarchy/category in particular tend to have more mastery of transformation, which is why most of them showed up in these good looking human forms more in the series except in some cases like Ryukotsusei, the Panther/Leopard cat King or Taigokumaru, who seemingly preferred their beast appearance, sticking to look how they really are. Or even born looking in-between (exhibit A. Shippo). Same for half demons. You get the picture. Also, it was shown that human looking yokai can totally reproduce with yokai of more monstrous appearances as Hiten and Manten's pops liked their mom just the way she looked. Still following?
So the thing is, like I said in the case of twins they ain't got the puppy ears because that's how they wanted it, more than the already established lore.
It's not that deep for people to go to reddit in my opinion. Ig? Like if people want the dog ears you can put it on them. Or a tail. If they're THAT unsatisfied with how they look.
Anywho, Hny is what if anyway.

MUSE
Name: Tōga (闘とう牙が, "Fighting Fang")
Title: Inu no Taishō || Inu no Daiyōkai
RESOURCE ~ InuYasha Wiki
HEADCANONS
Fallen General
My boy is retired. Please do not fight him. But if you must, please do your best and ensure he's heavily wounded. He is in dire need of purpose and if it means hunting you down for good sport and exercise, please bless this man that pleasure.
He rules neither land nor kin as this has been bestowed upon Sesshoumaru's mother and inferred equally among his sons if they wish. Tōga find solace wandering in the mortal realm while occasionally soaring the skies in peace.
He no longer has any fangs to spare and will heavily rely on his claws, a poison whip similar to Sesshoumaru, brute strength, agility, intelligence, and the domineering size of his youkai form.
Awareness Defined
I am yet to finish watching Yashahime as I find it a little off-canon and more of a fan-service-fic come to life. I will acknowledge and welcome anyone who would like to pull my muse into this timeline, but please be advised that I will stay true to my depiction of Tōga  in the movies and little knowledge of him the books.
Retired and resigned, my muse leans towards fluff as the name implies. Though he will remain stern at most, I am proud to assure you that he has the patience of a father and a grandfather altogether. He will love the honest shit out of you.
His untimely return is yet a mystery for both my muse and I. He recalls having died but not having reborn; he is neither living nor dead. Though he still possess sheer amount of power and skills, he has come to terms that his regeneration and healing has immensely declined. That said, please give gramps time to nap because he will nap a lot.
Company
As I intend to integrate my oc in the mix, Tōga may often be accompanied by a likened kin named KoKonoe as needed/upon request.
NOTES
Mun is of legal age to indulge in sin, but would prefer to keep this blog very fluff-friendly. I would prefer a fade to black for smutty themes, but if this is deemed necessary to partake in, I will happily oblige.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if I have neglected a response from you without a courtesy update from me, have ideas you'd like to discuss/share, or would just want to chat.
Papa is also very child-friendly. We welcome OCs and non-OCs alike.
Please tag me for reblogs and replies if possible.

mswhy92 replied to your post “What We Know about the Inu no Taishō”
Did you not see the third Inuyasha movie OP? His human form is there
You bring up a good point in that their father did appear (for a few minutes) in a humanoid form in that particular movie, looking (if anybody is wondering) like this:
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: the design they used for the Inu no Taishou in movie three. Handsome! Nailed it, IMO, I can totally believe he charmed two different women looking like this) ...but - and this is key - this was not used in the original manga by Rumiko Takahashi, which is our primary source for these kinds of articles. The reason being, the adaptations of her story have a history of making pretty big changes and even inserting entirely new material - precisely what happened here! this is actually a great example of it! - and so they’re not interchangeable with the original or even each other a lot of the time.
For this reason, when we’re asking “what does canon say on this?”, we prefer to stick with The Original Work By The Original Author, which...means we turn exclusively to the manga unless it’s about something adaptation-specific. We enjoy the anime adaptations too! But they are a separate canon.
Interestingly, the Inu no Taishou was also not shown that way in the anime TV series either, nor in any of the other theatrical films, making Swords of An Honorable Ruler an outlier across pretty much all canons.
At least it’s a pretty outlier :P

(I do not own this picture. Not sure who did the art on this, but they did a fantastic job.)
I had reached her in time. I had reached Rin in time. My Rin. I held her closer to my chest, and promised my self that I would never let her go again. I stroked her hair to try to help calm her as she wrapped her arms around my neck, and shoulders.
“Ssshhhhh. I got you now.” I whispered into her ear. She was breaking my heart, the heart I had thought never could love. I thought I sesshomaru would never need a mate, but I was wrong. I need her!
Read my story: when will you see. On wattpad.

____   西の大犬将軍 _____
Tōga , his MATE, and his WIFE ; a meta
I need to preface this by saying I HATE calling Sesshomauru’s mother by InuKimi, just because (for me) that is a title not a name. I know that muns have different names for her and I’m fine with that, I know that some muns just call her InuKimi and that’s their prergoative. It won’t stop me from writing with those that do. I always fallback on what the particular mun refers to has. But for my purposes here I will call her Kimi (  綺心 ). ( Yes I know, I lack imagination )
Toga was NOT born into a high ranking title within the InuYōkai tribes.He worked his way to the top, very quickly ( by demon standards ) making a name for himself. His family rode on the coat tails of his victories and enjoyed the comforts that came with it. Right at the cusp of Toga’s renown came the suggestion of him taking a mate, it was made with a political arrangement in mind. It was seen as a way to strengthen his hold and to bring together the West and the East. Toga chose to turn that suggestion down and in turn making a life-long enemies of the dragon demons in the East. Instead he chose to follow his heart, to mate for love. That love being a young InuYōkai bitch, the grand daughter of a high ranking general within the  InuYōkai tribes. Kimi was beautiful, incredibly intelligent, and held a massive presence despite her slight frame. All of those things made for the perfect for Toga. But his family had their concerns, mostly due to her family and Kimi’s build. There was the fear that she would not produce strong children for Toga. He ignored every concerned and at a young age ( for a demon) he took Kimi as his mate.
It didn’t take long for them to become pregnant with their first pup.Their son Sesshomaru was born in the middle of the lunar cycle, healthy and strong, proving that Kimi was more than suitable to bare Toga’s children. Years were spent in love, together raising their son. Unfortunately during Sesshomaur’s formative years Toga spent a lot of time away, following the path of supreme conquest. It was during this time that he acquired the sword So'unga. The path to supreme conquest was not an easy one && with the establishment of peace in the West ( a peace between feuding factions of demons, Toga did not get involved in the trifles of men ), Toga chose his family over the acquisition of more lands.
But there was a more private matter that caused Toga to remain closer to home. Over the centuries Toga and Kimi struggled to have more pups after Sesshomaru. Many were lost, entering the world world too soon and promptly leaving it. The only pup that made it term was a baby girl  the two of them named Misuki ( 参月 ). She was born on the crescent moon and within three days the netherworld had reclaimed her. Her death was party why the sword of heaven and earth was forged, two fangs with vast abilities that would one day become two swords. .Over the years many pups were lost, each buried in Kimi’s gardens, a vast expanse of flowers and trees. The many losses drove a wedge between the two of them. Kimi could not bare the though of becoming pregnant again. Despite the love and respect she would always have for Toga, Kimi chose to end their physical relationship. The two would keep the title of mate, she would help to rule the west but the two would never touch each other sexually again. Toga would try to convince her otherwise, he loved his mate in every way possible. But the two would never comeback together.
An entire century would pass before Toga would meet someone who would catch his eye. In that time frame he would never touch another, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Not when he felt so deeply connected to the woman who was still his mate.  It was by happenstance that he would come meet the Princess Izayoi. A skirmish with his hated rival from the East brought him to her family’s estate. While injured, not terribly, Toga chose to rest beneath the branches of a cherry blossom tree. He had told himself that he would be gone by dawn but it. Their romance didn’t begin as a romance, the Princess offered to wrap his injuries and their conversations began there. and though he told himself he would never see the girl again the great  InuYōkai found himself returning night after night. Until one conversation lead him to taking the Princess out of the confines of her father’s estate. When not on one of their adventures, Toga and Izayoi spent their nights in deep conversations, questions asked by each on the other’s worlds. He would also bring flowers, flowers from every part of Japan and even from the continent. As time passed the two grew closer, and with the passing of time came the two of them falling in love. Even though the Princess Izayoi was to marry a  Samurai (a marriage that would save her clan from ruin ), the two continued their affair which resulted in the conception of a child, a half demon child. Excitement was not the first emotion to fill Toga when he discovered the pregnancy, instead it was sadness.. an incredible sadness.
Despite his love for Izayoi, how could they subject their child to the life of a half-demon? But there was not point on dwelling on it now, not when she was already carrying his child. A secret marriage was quick to happen, and Toga made the promise to his new wife that he would take her from this place and bring her and their child somewhere safe. It would be the first promise broken,  as  Ryūkotsusei  encroached more and more into western territory, there was a demand for the  Inu no Taishō fulfill his duty.
The rest is history....

Inu-Mothership Spotlight Saturday: March 26, 2022 Toga/Sesshomaru’s Mother!
Hello everyone! The @inu-mothership is back with a new list of fic recs--this week, our members voted, and we are very pleased to bring you a set of stories that feature Toga and Sesshomaru’s mother!
This is a small, but important, subset of stories, as this ship is a key element of canon. You’ll see that the writers we’ve chosen call Sesshomaru’s mother by a variety of names, but her sass and her strength are always there.
Stories are listed alphabetically, with rating and current status (ongoing or complete). We hope that you enjoy!
Interested in joining the Mothership? Please fill out our application here! We’d love to have you aboard 💜
Fic Recs:
The Arrangement (E; complete) by @loveyou-x3000
Sesshomaru's Mother—before Sesshomaru was ever born—watches as Toga is forced to take a second wife.
Birth of Destruction of Life (G; complete) by @myravenspirit
Inukimi is ready to give birth, but Touga is out on the battlefield. Will he make it time for the birth of their child? Twitter request fulfilled. Warning: Inu birth. M just in case for swearing.
The Journey -- Illustrations (G; complete) by Iris_1903 (Ao3)
From Iwojima, two youkai with different lifestyles have chosen to share their lives with each other. Attached and betrayed, disagreed and separated, understood and farewell, they left their only son a legacy that is both desirable and terrifying, which many others will seek to appropriate, or turn and run away.
Reaching out to accept everything, confronting fate, turning challenges into glory, on the long road, that son walks proudly with a gift in hand....
The journey from the beginning to the end.
Looks vs Practical Usage (G; complete) by Coup Detat (Ao3)
Inukimi and Inu no Taishou have a large difference of opinion in what their pup should wear. Inukimi believes that Sesshomaru should be dressed in high quality clothing that brings out his beauty to future mates, Inu no Taishou believes it is all about safety. He thinks that Sesshomaru should be wearing the robe of the fire rat to protect him should anything happen. It's a good old case of Looks vs Practical Usage - and a good old marital quarrel. Sesshomaru honestly just wants to eat though.
Lords of the Night (M; ongoing) by Winterzforgotten (Ao3)
They called him pup as he was still a child in the eyes of his elders. Little did they know that one day he would become the great Inu no Taishō. One day his name would be spoken throughout all of Japan and everyone would know his name and it would be uttered in fear. But he was still a child, no more than 12. His power still locked away, sleeping within. This is his journey.
The Lords of Western (English version) (G; complete) by Tsuki_tsuki12 (Ao3)
The Great War had changed him, and the Great War gave him a reason to change the world. But he lost himself in that process, which was also the price he had to pay for destroying the contemporary order of the world. When purposes could not justify actions, victories could not justify sins, ideals became words of hypocrisy, defending or conquering were both done with the same blood-stained hands. All his efforts only pushed him deeper into the mire of pointless wars, as how it’s happening, and had happened thousands of years ago. After all of his endeavors to change this world, nothing has changed.
The Mirror and the Light of the Skies (E; complete) by @linden-bloom
A companion prequel story exploring the deteriorating relationship between the Inu no Taisho and Sesshomaru's Mother.
The What If (G; complete) by Ingniferrus (Ao3) Now the what if was there in her arms, tiny, trembling, covered in its mother's dried blood, and barely alive. Just as she made up her mind to put it to rest alongside its mother, the baby's arm jerked free of its haphazard wrappings and its little hand closed around her sleeve.
Or; how Inuyasha came to be with his family in this AU.
You Go Wherever You Go (M; ongoing) by streamsofstoriesandcolour (Ao3)/ @shade-without-color
Kirinmaru and Inu no Taisho, two powerful daiyoukais is well known through the lands about their legendary friendship, however, a prophecy haunted Kirinmaru and a love affair between Toga and Izayoi may accelerate the fall of the Lord of the West, and deterioration of his surrogate son Riku.

INUYASHA FIC: When the Cherry Blossoms Bloom (1/3)
When the Cherry Blossoms Bloom
Characters: Tōga (Inu no Taishō), Izayoi, and Takemaru
Relationships: Izayoi/Tōga
Rating: Teen (Warning: Hanahaki Disease)
Summary: Love can bring down the mightiest of demons.
Written for @inuparentsday 2022.
***
Chapter 1
Tōga is troubled by strange dreams and, when he finally wakes up, by the even stranger sight of bloody cherry blossom petals on his pillow.
***
“As your feelings for this woman grow, so to will the flowers. They will grow and grow until they fill your lungs. If they are not removed, then, one day, they will surely choke you.”
Tōga’s knuckles whitened as he gripped the table so tightly that the wood splintered beneath his claws.
“But you can remove them?”
“I can remove them,” the healer confirmed, “But be warned. Removing the flowers will do more than merely cure your disease. The only way to ensure that they can never grow back is to remove your feelings for this woman along with them. Tell me, Great Dog Demon … are you willing to make such a sacrifice?”

Who am I kidding? We knew that already 😆
I need an Inuyasha prequel about the life of Inu no Taishō. Who's with me?

Ever wondered, that in the same moment Sesshōmaru became a father, Zero appeared to taunt him, he had to go running to hide only his daughters, because the mother was still too weak from giving birth, and he had to rely that the Inugang would take care of her, then he slayed a giant two tailed demon snake woman on the way out w/ the babies in his arm, stole her jewelry to use as protection for the babies, arranged a safe a place for them, organized their mother's safe transport, then destroyed a demonic meteor, in a short period of time, and without losing his composure even when some crazy people set fire to their home?
And there's still more misfortunes that Zero orchestrated and we don't know about yet, like why they had to be separated...
They have had it too rough, 'cause Zero couldn't move on from Inu no Taishō death and let other people live their lives? Or to prove that Sesshy really would cherish and protect his family his own way?
