I want a Helluva Boss DreamSMP crossover fanfiction with this plot synopsis:

Eret heads to where Philiza and Fundy are staying at to adopt Fundy but Dream finds his way into the Helluva Boss version of hell and hires I.M.P to kill Eret to prevent the adoption from happening. The I.M.P team catch Eret off guard and kill them with a Wither trap, unaware of the three canon lives rule of the world. Blitzo notices that Eret dropped a few papers and reads them out of curiosity. Realizing they are adoption papers, a plan races through Blitzo's mind as he places the papers in his pocket. He says that he needs to go "to the little imp's room" and sends Moxxie, Millie and Loona to collect the reward from Dream saying that he'll catch up with them.

Once Blitzo is alone with the not yet respawned Eret, he steals Eret's clothing and slightly modifies it to fit his body, though having lots of trouble with the crown fitting on his head. After that is done, he heads off in the direction Eret was walking while replacing Eret's name with his own on the adoption form using alteration ink, a ink that changes what is written using it to match the expectations of the one seeing it, which technically and legally makes Blitzo the one on the adoption form despite it being morally questionable at best.

Blitzo reaches Philiza's house, convincing the two of them that he's just Eret in a very elaborate Halloween costume, and signs his name with the alteration ink, making it looks like Eret's name to Philiza but Fundy sees right through the alteration ink. Philiza leaves to visit Technoblade and let Fundy and 'Eret' talk about living conditions in the new place, letting Fundy confront Blitzo on deceiving his grandfather and attempting to deceive him. Blitzo says that he saw a lot of potential in Fundy just from seeing his name alone but it's more than heavily implied that his plan to adopt Fundy comes as a repressed guilt over killing someone who was going to be a adoptive parent.

Fundy decides to give being Blitzo's adoptive son a chance, though warning Blitzo that he will not hesitate to defend himself if the situation calls for it. Blitzo accepts the terms and leaves with Fundy to look for Moxxie, Millie and Loona. They find them and explaining why Fundy is leaving with them, though Loona has some choice words for not being told ahead of time that she was going to get a sibling.

I.M.P and Fundy leave for their version of hell, unaware of the repercussions of their actions. Technoblade gets unwittingly framed for Eret's murder and he and Philiza get subsequently pissed when he discovered Dream's involvement and refusal to clear Technoblade's name. Meanwhile, Philiza's discovers Blitzo's deception of him but since he cannot go to the Helluva Boss version of hell, he cannot get proper justice for said deception so he ends up taking his anger out on Dream once he finds out his involvement with the one who deceived him.

There's several more repercussions but those are the main repercussions of I.M.P's actions.

Fundy, meanwhile, is living an interesting life. Loona starts to like her little brother, Blitzo adores his adoptive son and absolutely sparks his passion for "creative" kills of targets. Depending on when in the timeline you put the story he could have interesting relationship with other minor characters.

Usually I agree with ur takes but "oh c!Tommy is probably going to betray me and use my as a scapegoat' and then proceeds to torment c!Tommy more by giving c!Wilbur tnt, ruining c!Wilburs mental health, and aiding in blowing up L'manberg, like what."

He did it to destroy lmanberg it wasnt to torment tommy. He wanted to destroy all factions and just live under dsmp. Why do you think that move he did was to torment tommy?

L'manberg was connected to c!tommy and he knew the idea of it getting destroyed would upset c!Tommy too. Furthermore, he knew about c!tommys connection to c!wilbur. Purposly betrayed c!Tommy then acts as if c!Tommy is in the wrong. If he truly was just doing it to destroy L'manberg then why did he drag c!tommy like that through hell, why did he betray him and then act like its business, why did he immediately after the battle go to c!tommy on the bench and taunt him for a bit. I do agree that his main motive was to destroy L'manberg to get everyone under his own rule because he thrives on control, but the other part of that is he loves to torment and taunt c!Tommy which he's shown time and time again. He said before in that debate thing "justice for everyone but c!tommy" and also says , "I think you are getting everything coming to you" not verbatim but the message is the same. He seems to want revenge on c!tommy at this point or at least he makes it out that he wants that, however he also did want c!tommy under his control at the same time. If I remember correctly he has taunted c!tommy a couple times about the destruction of L'manberg, I vaguely remember him bringing it up in exile and in the prison but I may be wrong sorry. I do understand that its not much to go off of, so this is why I look to the 3rd? blowing up of L'manberg that happened after exile, where c!dream makes it crystal clear that to him c!tommy is too fun and that his story with him will never be over which imo pretty much solidifies that majority of his destructive actions involved the added motivation of messing with c!tommy.

And I'd just like to add that c!tommy was basically seen as the heart and soul of L'manberg. He was the one with all the determination, everyone else practically caved until exile. c!wilbur lost his mind and blew it up, c!fundy switched sides for a moment to manberg then came back but was barely involved - also fell for c!dreams manipulation, c!tubbo fell for c!dreams manipulation, c!quackity to an extent did and moved on, c!niki burnt down the l'manberg tree. It was really just c!tommy that still had the spirit of L'manberg and that core of justice whereas everyone else lost it (ig thats just how i saw it idk) , thats when you bring up exile and u got c!dream trying to turn c!tommy against l'manberg and his allies, almost like c!dream knew that getting c!tommy joined with his plans against l'manberg would help immensely but like Im getting off topic- thats a whole diff topic of 'why c!tommy would be the perfect weapon' lmao. c!tommy and to an extent c!tubbo even want to make l'moonberg, and c!tommy even had a l'manberg pic on his person during the ending. c!wilbur was right when he called c!tommy l'manberg.

It makes so much sense why c!dream loved destroying it.

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

i love my c!fundy design but i am NOT a furry artist, which is why i either draw him in his very depressed form (doomsday - las nevadas era) or jsut waist up, or secret option (completely fforget he has them paws)

honourable mention -> tommyinnit's hair, like i can never firgure out a hairstyle that fully emulates him, genrall any guy that has that slick back hair i cant justice without it looking like sonic (looks at mariana)

hello!!! this is the same tired annon from before (who also has a bland pallet and sent an ask earlier today)

this might be my last ask sent considering i just got caught up on cough syrup but who knows i might get attached!

okay so for starters i’m here to say holy crap i love how you write tommy and i keep forgetting to say that! you do him more than justice, you do his character like double justice. (now i’m wondering what double justice would look like in the justice system…. probably lots of paperwork)

next i’m here to say holy moly macaroni you write dream so well. (i just realized i haven’t put !cs before things so i’m doing that now. i’m a bit tired and stuff so whejsmshfjd) cs!dream gives me the heeby jeebies and i literally wanted to shake cs!ranboo by the shoulders the entire time he was interacting with cs!dream but i was also like hashtag relatable so oh well! you’ve just done the whole dynamic really well! (i know its not much but the fact that cs!dream was planting the ideas of “i’m your only friend/your friends want to hurt you” thoughts into cs!ranboo’s brain was an excellent touch! it was something i’ve learned about in a class about abusers and stuff and how they try and isolate people and yea c!dream did this so idk maybe i’m making a big deal out of nothing but. i thought you wrote it really well! like really well)

can you tell words are not my friend because oh boy they’re not

and of course how could i write this without mentioning cs!fundy! you wrote him so well and i’m intrigued by his character! i also really like how you wrote his dialogue while being all panicked! very nice to see that kind of stuttering written so well!

i also want you to know that, often, i find when you’ve said you feel like you’ve written something not well, you’ve actually done a real suburb job! maybe i’m not the best judge as i’m not much of a writer myself, but i feel like you don’t give yourself enough credit! you’re doing wonderful work here

-i’m in love with the pets and their inclination of the story! am i biased cause there was a cat sitting on my lap while i read the majority of cough syrup? yea, maybe… but hey i still really have enjoyed the pets!

For real! You know c!Philza’s instant reaction to having to look after him was that of vague disgust? You know that he’s forgiven almost every other member of the Butcher Army? You know that c!Fundy has actually Tried to apologise repeatedly, only to get shut down?

But when c!Philza helps endanger people on a massive scale, and kills a family member, it’s okay.

Eret, Niki and Fundy's underrated Lore during the Election and Manberg vs Pogtopia arc

When people talk about the Manberg arc, they tend to focus on Tommy, Tubbo, Schlatt, Wilbur, Techno, etc

So I'm here to talk about some POVs that are equally exciting to me (well. As someone who watched the L'Manberg squad and Eret religiously back then)

It's a common misconception that Coconut2020 appeared out of nowhere, but it didnt. Coconut2020 was created during the Pet War, c!Niki and c!Fundy's relationship was growing strong and they were consistently helping eachother and teaming together. Fundy had a whole duel to bring justice for Niki and the pets that were killed, the two were quite close. The election arc started late September as the Pet War was still ongoing, so nearing the end of the Pet War Fundy asked Niki to be VP alongside him if he ran for president. Fundy had been increasingly more doubting of Wilbur and the debate between Pog and Swag was what made him finally decide L'Manberg was corrupt, and when he finally made a decision to start his own party. He didnt believe Pog2020 or Swag2020 would be good for L'Manberg

Coconut2020 was created when Tommy and Sapnap made fun of Fundy. Sapnap had been Fundy's enemy for weeks during the Pet War, so this made Fundy suspicious of Tommy. Fundy told Niki this and this is when Niki decided to run for VP with him, creating the name Coconut2020 from their shared love of Coconut Oil

We get the Election. Neither Fundy nor Niki were streaming this but they had their moments. Fundy and Niki lost, but guess who cheered for them anyway? Eret!

I wanna talk about Eret. Eret is known for his betrayal but nothing that came after. He was a character that was always like "I dont regret doing this" "it was the best option" and was proud of his position as king, poking fun at the L'Manbergians a lot. Despite this he did stay friends with them, kinda. Tommy would mess around with him in lighthearted ways, along w Tubbo. Fundy and Eret's relationship stayed the same, always pranking and messing with eachother. Niki would hang out w Eret a lot. Eret, Niki and Fundy were friends. Eret was supportive of Coconut2020. Eret's mindset of "I dont regret betraying L'Manberg >:)" was flipped on its head when Schlatt was elected

When Wilbur and Tommy were exiled, Eret realized that he cant just do nothing, he had to make it up to them, he had to have a redemption of some sort. Wilbur was NOT happy with Eret of all people attempting to help them, so Eret had to help from the shadows. Eret tells Schlatt he could start a Second War, refused to let him take down the L'Manberg walls, protested against anything he said, and nearly stabbed him once I think. He says as King of the SMP, it's his responsibility to help everyone, he wont stand for tyranny and he has to help Tommy and Wilbur. He burns down the Podium that Schlatt was elected on to show he wont stand for what he does.

Meanwhile Fundy cheered for Schlatt, Fundy helped take down the walls without hesitation, even when Niki was protesting and asking him what he's doing. The thing is, we didnt get to see what Fundy was thinking here as he wasnt streaming, but he reveals his thoughts to Eret, who he trusts.

Fundy tells Eret he's going to be a spy, he's going to act like he's on Schlatt's side and he's going to gather information to take Schlatt down from the inside. He's going to do things that arent pretty.

And he burns the L'Manberg flag as Niki screams "NO!" and Why, Fundy?"

Niki was the one who built that flag, and she had no clue of Fundy's plans. She's hurt, she believes Fundy betrayed her and L'Manberg, after all theyve been through.

Niki during the election day is iconic. Verbally protesting against Schlatt, telling him and Quackity "I hope you starve", being locked up on Jack Manifold's balcony. She was NOT having what Schlatt was doing. She may not have been a founder but she joined days after L'Manberg gained its independence, she cared for everyone there, it was her home, she built the flag and wore the uniform proudly.

So we got Fundy on Schlatt's side, Niki not knowing what to do bc Wilbur wont come for her, and Eret also not knowing what to do but attempting to be on Pogtopia's side (and failing).

Niki genuinely believes Fundy betrayed her. Niki is upset about Tommy and Wilbur being exiled, saying she misses both of them and they have to get them back. Fundy and Niki argue a lot.

Fundy starts a book, A Spy's Diary. Yall know the book revealed to Wilbur before Fundy joined Pogtopia? That had been being written during every Fundy stream from after the election to that time.

Fundy builds a Manberg flag because Schlatt ordered him to. Tommy burns down the flag. Fundy builds the flag again. Niki burns down the flag

Schlatt continues to tax Niki and not treat her nicely and she continues to hate his guts. She ends up escaping and living in Tommy's summer house. While she's there she promises Henry that she will take him back to Tommy. She vents to Henry that she has no idea who's on her side and she doesnt know what to do.

Funny thing is, Eret had promised the same thing about Henry. Unfortunately nobody saved his VODs. Eret and Niki also made a plan at one point to blow up the White House. This didnt happen for obvious reasons (glances at Wilbur)

Fundy is being constantly promoted by Schlatt, who appears to trust him and not realize he's a spy. He builds a huge Manberg flag out of obsidian and Magma Blocks.

Then the Festival is announced. Wilbur does his whole let's be the bad guys thing n stuff. Schlatt asks Fundy what his relation to Wilbur is and he says he was born inside the walls, and Wilbur is a founder and nothing else.

Wilbur n Fundy's relationship had been strained since the election arc. With Fundy creating Coconut2020 and Wilbur gradually becoming less happy with him, saying to Tommy at one point "he's dead to me". While Fundy had been becoming more disappointed in Wilbur and how corrupt L'Manberg seemed to be. Fundy saying this to Schlatt, whether he meant it or not, was the last straw for Wilbur who was already spiralling.

Fundy helps with the Festival decorations. He makes the Podium for Schlatt, and has a speech about how Schlatt made the country better, how he's done more for it than Wilbur and Tommy. In his Spy's Diary he writes that he's questioning his own stand and if he's on the right side. He seems to genuinely start believing in Schlatt. Schlatt would praise him a lot and seemed proud of him. All he wants is someone to he proud of him

The Festival is a shitfest, we all know this. After the Festival, Fundy runs to Pogtopia, saying "I was wrong." He realizes that Schlatt wasnt good at all, he was just a tyrant, writing "Schlatt needs to go down." In his diary.

Meanwhile Niki was with Tubbo and Tommy. She had been horrified at the festival, she had been in the crowd begging for Techno to stop. She had been one of the people shot when Techno had shot at the crowd. She was horrified upon finding out Wilbur's plans to blow up L'Manberg, and she has a moment where she sits with Tommy and Tubbo and tells them "we need L'Manberg back."

During all of this Eret was pretty much just vibing, he was attempting to help with not much success, he even tried making a big potato farm for Techno that went unnoticed. He started his Museum during this time

10 days before the war, Fundy joins Pogtopia. He shows Wilbur his diary, everything he's been working on, and is told "I despise you."

November 16th. Dream threatens Eret's kingship, warning him not to help Pogtopia and stay neutral. Eret is conflicted, his Kingship is what gives him power, power he can use to help the people he cares about. But on the other hand, he wants to help Pogtopia. Eret is dethroned and cast out of his own castle, to which Pogtopia welcomes him with open arms.

Schlatt has an argument with Fundy, Fundy is hurt and upset, Schlatt had a dream and he followed it, but he ruined the dream. Schlatt thought Fundy was the last person on his side, he was not. Fundy watches Schlatt die before his eyes, and later watches Wilbur die before his eyes.

Niki, Fundy and Eret. All 3 hadnt been in Pogtopia for long at all, didnt know much about the plans or what was happening, werent involved in the government making process, and were part of Techno's wrath anyway. Eret had said "you hate governments, Techno?" as he literally just didnt know lol

They watched as L'Manberg was blown up in front of them, the place Fundy and Eret had helped found, the place Niki had loved and cared for. They were fighting to take down Schlatt and reclaim L'Manberg that day. Fundy POV, Niki POV, Eret POV (2nd part here his stream crashed)

For once in years the waves of chaos in the smp had finally died down, only the sounds of the soft waves washing up the beach, birds chipping, light wind blowing against the cabins in the tundra. Inside one of those cabins was a family, soft snores echoing through the halls, children were sleeping soundly in their own rooms and in the master bedroom laid the parents.

You head rested on his bare chest hearing the beats of his heart, the calming snores that escaped from him, and the feeling of the sun warming your skin in the cold winter surrounding your home.

When you and Techno became official chaos ceased in the smp. Everyone was finally happy, Dream finally got justice get deserved, Wilbur finally changed his ways and became the father Fundy always needed, Quackity finally had a happy ending, everyone was at peace, and no problems disrupted the joy.

When it came to starting a family you and techno were very weary about starting one, but Phil encouraged the idea since the man had been longing for another grand baby for the longest time. The moment you found out you were expecting you were all happy however Techno was still not fully on board considering how paranoid he was. Just waiting for someone to break the chain of peace and cause another never ending cycle of destruction upon the smp but it wasn’t till your sweet boy, whom you both named Eros, was born that he threw all his previous thoughts out the window, held his tiny form in his two large hands that Eros fit so snuggly in was when Techno began to focus more on his forever family that he started. This was the baby you made to together with love, you’ll both watch him grow old and do the things he loves, grow as a human and explore the world and start a family of his own. This was his son. Parenting wasn’t so easy but Techno would trade the world just to stay in this moment forever. Of course occasionally the two of you were so worn out that Phil had to step in at times and give the two of you a well deserved break. Speaking of Phil, he was on cloud nine the moment you went into labor, of course he contained himself as you went through all that hard work and pain but after everything died down and the golden hour happened he saw just how much being a father fit Techno, he knew he’d be the best father, better than him for sure. Phil also cried as he held your baby. Tommy and Wilbur teased Techno SOOOO much he really said: “hold my baby rq-“ and proceeded to almost cease the two of existence. But all in all they gushed over the baby and of course Tommy pledged to be the best uncle obviously with a few cuss words in it cause that’s the ‘tommyinnit way’ but Techno quickly shut him up and would definitely not be letting Tommy babysit for as long as he lives.

Everyone including you thought that you would only have one child and that was it. Especially after all the hours of hell you went through to bring her into the world, but with the help of Techno, Nikki, Hannah, and Puffy by your side you eventually got through it. Of course during those moments Techno grew extremely worried for you and the baby but Phil got him though it and got him to help support you, he also admired the beauty of bringing life into the world and how strong you were though it all. You thought Techno was done and satisfied with one child but it wasn’t till after Eros turned five was when one night, Techno suspiciously had Phil take Eros to sleep over at his house next door. He knew of your growing suspicions but he quickly told you that ‘He wanted to spend the night with Grampza.’ So you believed it, once you had finished your nightly routine, you had slipped into your shared bedroom with techno thinking he was asleep only to not see him in bed, suddenly the door closed behind you and you were being pinned against the door. You were met with his bare chest and looked up to see him hovering over you, being caged in by his arms, he looks down to you making you feel really small compared to his huge form, his red crimson eyes glowed a bright pastel pink, and you could feel his body heat radiating off of him. Seeing him like this and being in this position could only mean one thing, his heat. What he said caused time to freeze once again. “Do you want another baby?” He asked his voice dripped with a tone that made your knees lock and you felt your face heat up. You had been thinking about having another child but you were too shy to ask Techno not wanting him to drive away from you for your want to expand you family. The moment you said yes, the rest of the night became a daze.

Once you announced your pregnancy everyone was surprised, mostly at the fact that Techno would want another kid. The baby was born and it’s a boy, Techno named him, Theseus, to which Tommy objected to naming him that because of past conflicts that happened between him and Techno. You swore that Techno was done but next thing you know 2 years later you’re giving birth to your baby girl, Amethyst, who you named.

Now here you both were. Lying in bed, enjoying being in the moment. Lying in silence, Techno woke up a few minutes after you and just lied there stroking you hair and shoulders gently as you traced random shapes on his chest. Everything was perfect.

The quiet didn’t last long till 9 month old Amethyst began to cry from her nursery. “Mooooom, Daaaaaaad” Theseus called from his room complaining about Amethyst disturbing his sleep. You and Techno both sighed and began to start the day. Phil came over, had breakfast with you all, and he entertained Theseus and Amethyst. Tommy, Wilbur, and Fundy later came over, Tommy, Fundy, and Eros went on to build a tower, and Wilbur joined to keep an eye on the three around the afternoon Ranboo and Tubbo came over and brought Micheal along, the platonic husbands conversed with you and Techno about raising children’s md the difficulties, as Micheal and Theseus played together in the snow upon Phil’s supervision as he and Amethyst played with Phil’s crows.

As you looked around the full house you realize that this was your family, not just the ones you created but the ones you’ve gone through ups and downs with for years, years of building relations ships and trust, years of slowly becoming a family no matter the differences , you all planned and vowed to be their for one another, help each other out and protect each other. This was your family and you were so lucky to be apart of it and create it.

Looking out the window you watched your boys and baby girl before Techno came behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist resting on your stomach. Resting his chin on top of your head you both stood there with a smile and placed your hands atop of his. “You know,” Techno spoke out to you quietly. You hummed for him to continue as you reached on hand up to feet his cheek and jawline feeling his stubbles of his facial hair. His arms tightened around you as he leaned down to reach your ear before talking in a low tune for only you to hear. “Three more devil spawns wouldn’t be so bad.” You froze before escaping his grasp and staring at your husband with horror etched onto your face. Techno laughed as he clenched his stomach as you lightly smacked his shoulder doing absolutely nothing to him and he laughed more. “Joking,” he laughs out grabbing you’re hand and pulling you in for a hug. “Maybe just one or two more at least-“

“Technoblade!”

“What???”

The Third Variant to the SootCraft Fundy and Wilbur family drama that Maybe Accidentally Started it

So yesterday me and @bigbraveboop came to the conclusion that C!fundy had an arc in early early L'manburg that we were kinda unaware of. And it cracks the case of... how the family drama started. And also is why is this exists

C!Tommy was the catalyst of the c!Fundy | c!Wilbur family drama in S1 and i promise i have proof

So what does Fundy repeatedly say is his biggest gripe with Wilbur currently and multiple times after his death? Well:

“You were there for me for a very very long time and then when i needed you the most, you skedaddled fuck the out of my life and died. Because of what? L’manberg’s causes, huh? You thought that was- You thought that was justice? You thought that was good for me? You left me, man.’

“The dad that- my dad that exploded himself for the sake of a country, just for that country to be demolished in future hands?-"

“He put me to priority number 2, man. He put me in the second place.”

So its about L’manburg being more important than him to Wilbur.

Now lets dig deep, where did that insecurity start? Why did Fundy arrive at this conclusion? Why did he feel like this in the first place about his position in L’manburg and his Father?

We kinda assume it was always there or was because of Wilbur actually prioritizing L’manburg over his son/being negectfull. But no! Fundy was very confident in his realtionship with Wilbur and his position in L’manburg at the Start and we see tha change so!

I want to argue that this insecurity... didn't come from Wilbur or any of his actions or lack thereof. Not directly.

“Wilbur? I dunno, Wilbur’s a man of chaos, alright- due to the lore of the server, Wilbur may or may not have been the father of our nation, but- that doesn’t mean he’s for everything I do. That doesn’t mean he stands behind me, alright? Not necessarily...not necessarily.”

This is the first instance of Fundy doubting his connection to Wilbur helping things, i'd argue it still was a part of a lighhearted bit that isn’t to be taken too seriously in the context of the larger story but i realized something that made me change my mind, i mean it is still a lighthearted bit but it connects to a certain quote from uncle Innit:

“What would father think?”

And then that got me thinking and:

Part 1 aka Early L'manburg Fundy had different feelings towards Wilbur than Civil War Fundy

So how did Fundy act towars Wilbur early on?

Fundy: "Don't speak to me ma- hey that's fucked up don't talk about that. That's-"

Tommy: "Listen Th- you gotta kn- you gotta know you don't speak to the boss's son like that. Nevermind about- about the boss's wife to the boss's son in front of the boss's right hand man! You really gotta- You really gotta read the room Thunder."

Fundy: "Yea you don't. You don't."

JM: "fine ok let him do what he wants to do, i just don't wanna hear about it [..]"

Tommy: "Listen to me Fundy- Listen to me Fundy- he didn't mean that- he's just a bold man- he had- he had a little-"

Fundy [turning to JM]: "I will tell on you."

Tommy: " NO no no no Fundy- Fundy He had a little flirt with Dream- he had a little flirt with dream, he's- he's a- he's really new, he's learing his boundaries, he's over stepped them, alright, listen, but you don't have to tell Will, you don't have to tell no-one. "

[To JM] "Thunder you need to to calm your fucking- holy shit."

"-Please, please give him a rest."

JM: "no i- im sorry, im sorry, i'm sorry Fundy"

Fundy: 'I don't want this behavior again, alright."

JM: "no i wont- i wont-"

Fundy: 'Don't talk to my Dad OR my salmon Mother like that ever again, i will tell on you, keep it in mind. I have privilege to speak up against-"

JM: "i understand."

I will come back to the i have a privilege line later but first, from this we see Fundy being confident that Wilbur would take his side because he is his son. He is the “i will tell my parents about this” kid, alongside that he doesn’t feel like he has no imput in decisions, he doesnt feel insecure here he is in the position of power.

So again when did it appear?

Well,

Fundy: “I may or may not have scammed a bunch of people, including all of L’manburg people, um…”

Tommy: “You scammed L’manburg members?!”

Fundy: “But here’s the thing – I’m willing to pay you a part of the profit if you help me out here!”

Tommy: “Fundy…okay, can I tell you what’s happened from my point of view? The son of the President has gone around scamming the other presidential members, and as the Vice President whilst the President’s not on, this is my duty to make sure that this doesn’t pull apart L’manburg. And what you’re saying – what you’ve essentially just said is, ‘hey, can I bribe you?’“

Fundy: “…Can I?”

Tommy: “Jesus Christ…No, okay, we need to settle this now, ‘cause I mean if this happens on my turf, I’m gonna fucking take the blame from this from Wilbur, alright…so listen, Fundy, under no circumstances can you bribe anyone!”

Fundy: “I got two Netherite scraps?”

Tommy: “Okay, okay – explain to me what’s happened, please.”

[Fundy explains the conflict]

Tommy: “What would father think?”

Fundy: “Well, he always – he always sides…by me…obviously.”

Tommy: “Would he though? I mean, you’ve gone against the other members of the nation he fought to build.”

Fundy: “Well only because my loot has been stolen! Alright?”

Tommy: “This sounds petty, Fundy.”

Fundy: “Okay, okay, I can word this differently in my favor.”

Tommy: “No, okay, no – you’re not meant to say that out loud! Okay, I’m gonna ask Tubbo what’s happened, and then from there on we’ll – but please do not do any – we can’t have L’manburg falling out over this, alright?”

So here we see Fundy the president’s son being put in comparison to L’manburg the nation the president built for what Wilbur would prioritize for the first time, and Tommy sows the seeds that maybe L’manburg matters more to Wilbur than him, that Wilbur would choose the nation. this is also first time Fundy has been sort of excluded from the Whole of L’manburg.

and we see Tommy’s words affect Fundy,

Fundy: “We gotta list everyone who’s against me:”

“I killed Tubbo twice, I stole his bow. Tubbo’s probably against me.”

“Tommy has always been against me from the start.”

“Sapnap is against me because I killed his animals and stole them.”

“Punz is against me ‘cause I stole his bees.”

“Eret is against me ‘cause I went after Karl.”

“Karl’s against me ‘cause -- I just realized I’ve made a lot of enemies...I just realized I don’t have many -- I don’t have many allies on the server. There’s not many allies.”

“Who’s neutral? Niki! Niki is with me! Niki is friendly.”

“Wilbur? I dunno, Wilbur’s a man of chaos, alright...due to the lore of the server, Wilbur may or may not have been the father of our nation, but...that doesn’t mean he’s for everything I do. That doesn’t mean he stands behind me, alright? Not necessarily...not necessarily.”

“Quackity? Quackity’s definitely not -- no, listen, Quackity’s definitely not for me, okay. I called him a whore. There’s definitely -- there’s definitely many things Quackity has against me.”

so here is my argument... Fundy’s insecurity started with Tommy.

Part 2 Development Of Those Feelings (Uncle Tommy you’re not Helping)

Fundy, growing disillusioned with Wilbur and L’manburg, lead to this one coversation between Fundy and Wilbur,

Wilbur: Well the uh- the ballot entries have closed now.

Fundy: Who's in it?

Wilbur: Well it originally was just gonna be me and Tommy, me and Tommy tired to do it so- tried to do it so we will be the only ones running, then suddenly out of nowhere Quackity joins and enters himself on the ballot-

Fundy: Ok.

Wilbur: -so it's me and Tommy against Quackity and someone else.

Fundy: Who's someone else?

Wilbur: We don't know yet, he hasn't announced,

Fundy: Wait then- oh, so it's just a random… sneaky person who put himself in the ballot not announced who he is.

Wilbur: yeah, yeah. I mean if you wanna try and convince Quackity that you wanna run against your father.

Fundy: Yeah ok.

Wilbur: Wait, you- you wouldn't though.

Fundy: What if i win? What are- what are you gonna do?

Wilbur: Well then you'd be Vice President.

Fundy: but-What if i win?

Wilbur: Why do you want power in L'manburg so much?

Fundy: Why do you want power?

Wilbur: Because- i led the revolution, i'm your… i'm your president.

Fundy: That's history.

Wilbur: Wh- d- Do you not think i- i'm suitable to run for president?

Fundy: I think you are, but i think I am as well.

Wilbur: I don't know man. I don't- i think- i think you- i think you'd be s- i think you'd be getting into a fight you wouldn't want to start with me. You've only been on the positive side of me, you've only seen my nice side, because y'know? being my son you get- you get special- y'know? You won't ever see me going against you.

Fundy: Wait so you're a biased person going for presidency.

Wilbur: Biased to my son? Yes. But, if you're gonna run against me then i'm changing, i'll- i'll go guns blazing.

Fundy: I'll have a word with Quackity.

Wilbur: Fundy i… i've got- i've got- i've got a bad feeling about this. I think you're just gonna… you're just gonna get hurt.

Fundy: That will happen-

Wilbur: Fundy yeah- Yeah someone in my chat just pointed out, Fundy you started the civil war.

Niki: I mean technically Sapnap started the civil war.

Fundy: I mean- i mean technically- Yeah y' know, technically- and i'm gonna win it! It's fine! I mean what does he have on me, really?

Wilbur: I thought it was you fighting Tubbo?

Fundy: what?

Wilbur: I thought civil war was you and Tubbo?

Fundy: No, Tubbo's just a prick.

Wilbur: Sapnap's not even- not even part of L’manburg how is it a civil war?

Fundy: I don't know you brought it up!

Wilbur: Tommy told me- Tommy told me it was Tubbo and Fundy.

Fundy: Yeah no Tommy is a little bit delusional.

Wilbur: I think i've spoiled you.

Fundy: How?

Wilbur: I think you need to learn some manners.

Fundy: I dunno- power seems nice.

Wilbur: Fine, you can run against me, it won't end well for you but you can give it a go.

Fundy: Like i said i'll- i'll have a word with Quackity i'll think of my actions, see what will happen, i'm not saying necessarily that i'll go against you, then again i'm not standing beside you because you may or may not be the father of L'manburg

Wilbur: And you! The father of you!

Fundy: That's irrelevant. To-

Wilbur: No it's not irrelevant! It's very relevant to this!

Fundy: I don't- i don't think that's relevant to presidency

I’ll talk over Wilburs pov here in a little bit but focusing on Fundy,

He wants to run, other than everything we established before here Fundy wants to run to prove himself to himself, and we see the other part of this conflict more internally is,

(“[..] may or may not be the father of L'manburg- “ , “ That's irrelevant.” )

Well, here is the insecurity about Wilbur choosing L’manburg (here his position as president) over Fundy, the being second place to L’manburg part matters here becasue i think this is where Wilbur and Fundy fundamentally clash, so Fundy doesn’t want for it to matter to Wilbur, he doesn’t want for his position as son to have any influence over Wilbur here beacuse of this fear that that’s why he may be in the second place.

now let’s move on to,

Uncle Tommy ‘helps’

Fundy: “I’m wearing glasses…are you making fun of my eyesight?!”

Tommy: “Yes.”

Sapnap: “Your father would be very disappointed.”

Fundy: “Wh – disappointed for wearing glasses?!”

Tommy: “You got glasses, like what are you wearing…”

Fundy: “What do you mean?”

Tommy: “Sapnap, Sapnap, over here. Fundy, Fundy, Fundy, I’m really sorry to say this – I’m just here to publicly denounce you.”

Fundy: “…What?”

Tommy: “I just, I – yeah. You’re stinky, you’re shitty, the fur that’s sewn onto your skin, I look at it and I go (retching sounds) And whilst you’re a lovely guy, you’re actually not, you’re really…and all the viewers are like ‘oh no!’ But they can’t smell you. I can! Holy shit, you know? I mean you know, Sapnap…”

Fundy: “I showered two hours before the stream…”

Tommy: “I know, and that’s what makes it so remarkable, how you smell that terrible.”

Fundy: “I used coconut oil…it smells good…”

…

Tommy: “Fundy, I’m just here to kinda let you know that I – if you weren’t Wilbur’s son, you would be out of L’manburg, alright? Just remember – you need to keep that relationship with your father. Fundy: “Being neutral is – is asshole?”

Tommy: “Yes. Come with me, Sapnap. Yeah, I’ve denounced you – well no no no, you were challenging him. You were challenging him.”

Fundy: “Denounced to what?”

Tommy: “I just – it’s just a formal way of saying you suck.”

(Tommy and Sapnap leave)

Fundy: “…They are mean…They are mean! Why are they so mean? That is so mean…”

Fundy: “Listen, it is one thing making fun of a person’s appearance…it is one thing making fun of a person’s blindness, but hey – don’t fucking make fun of my coconut oil! Listen dude…that shit smells tasty! That smells good! Man…that’s…god…coconut oil, man…dude.“

Fundy: “TNT their houses? That will just prove their point, chat. That will just prove their point. That will just prove their point…they’re just mean. They’re so mean. But it is okay, chat. It is okay. The reason why it’s okay…that’s actually true. Why is he talking to the enemy? Wait…wait a minute. Wait a minute! So let me get the story straight real quick.”

“Chat…just hold up a second here! Hold on a second! So Tommy is demoting me, right? And he’s saying you’re only in L’manburg because of Wil. So Tommy says…in theory, he would kick me out if he had the chance. But considering that, while he’s together with Sapnap…it leads me to believe…Tommy wants to destroy L’manburg!”

“Why would he do that? Why would he team up with Sapnap? He had no correlation with this conversation at all. What was the reason for that?”

“…Do we have another traitor in our midst?”

…

Fundy: “Listen, Tommy, here’s a really interesting theory, alright…here’s an interesting theory, Tommy. I got a little theory on my mind! Listen, boy, we’re part of L’manburg, you and me. Wil as well, Tubbo, all of us, alright? And we’re supposed to be a union! Now here’s the thing! Here’s the thing. If you said, due to Wilbur I’m still basically part of L’manburg – in other terms saying that if it was on your hands you would get me out of there, right, why would you excessively bring Sapnap, out of all people, for that conversation alone?”

Tommy: “Shall I explain to you? It’s because, Fundy, we fucking need votes, Fundy. We need votes! This Quack City guy, son of BadBoyHalo? He’s just – he’s just, like, oh my god. We needed votes. And listen, Fundy–”

Fundy: “You basically just lost my vote, and I feel like that’s your purpose!”

Tommy: “You’re in L’manburg! You vote for us already – you vote for your own father, don’t be an idiot!”

Fundy: “I feel like you’re trying to bring us apart, Tommy. I feel like your goals are not supportive towards L’manburg at the moment…”

Tommy: “From my perspective, Sapnap hates you, Fundy. Sapnap hates you. And if I go listen, if I had to tier list all of the members of L’manburg, Fundy would be in D tier. He needs to hear that.”

Fundy: “…Tommy, are you Eret?”

Post the court debate Fundy was more decided on running on his own,

“Honestly, I feel like everything just needs to change. Honestly, I feel like neither of the parties have done enough right to deserve leadership, to deserve presidency in the first place. I feel like a lot of shit needs to change.”

Fundy didnt want to endorse any of the parties, SWAG2020 was endorsed by Dream, and he belived POG2020 to be corrupt because of the bribing Karl situation, so he was more keen on running on his own, and then came the public denouncing situaion.

Obviously Fundy was hurt by this, especially considering Sapnap was his enemy, and Tommy’s words didnt do Fundy’s and Wilburs already shaky relationship many favours, but his behaviour both pushed Fundy futher away from the POG party, and started Fundy’s ‘traitor Tommy’ theory that he shared with Niki after which the Coconut2020 party was formed.

Part 3 Wilbur is a oblivious dumbass but it makes sense now.

now lets look at Wilburs pov of things, which means we are coming back to the privilege line,

JM: "no i- im sorry, im sorry, i'm sorry Fundy"

Fundy: 'I don't want this behavior again, alright."

JM: "no i wont- i wont-"

Fundy: 'Don't talk to my Dad OR my salmon Mother like that ever again, i will tell on you, keep it in mind. I have privilege to speak up against-"

JM: "i understand."

So coming back to this quote, i belive Wilbur didnt realize Fundy had these doubts about thier relationship, because he was used to Fundy sharing his problems with him, and he was left kinda drifting in an ‘why is my son suddenly against me now??’

Wilbur didnt realize Fundy’s feelings about him had changed, as in Fundy no longer WOULD come to him if he had any probems, because Fundy used to come to him with problems, ("I will tell on you.") But Tommy’s first comment knocked him down and the debate and the Sapnap-Tommy situation had as well and the denouncement, (which Wilbur also knew shit about) because he was already insecure about his place in L’manburg and Wilbur. AND he wouldn't come to Wilbur like he used to because Wilbur was the point of his insecurity even if he wasnt the couse of it.

So we see Wilbur kinda be sad and confused and misstepping becasue of that,

Fundy: Wait so you're a biased person going for presidency.

Wilbur: Biased to my son? Yes. But, if you're gonna run against me then i'm changing, i'll- i'll go guns blazing.

Fundy: I'll have a word with Quackity.

Wilbur: Fundy i… i've got- i've got- i've got a bad feeling about this. I think you're just gonna… you're just gonna get hurt.

Wilbur: Tommy told me- Tommy told me it was Tubbo and Fundy.

Fundy: Yeah no Tommy is a little bit delusional.

Wilbur: I think i've spoiled you.

Fundy: How?

Wilbur: I think you need to learn some manners.

Fundy: I dunno- power seems nice.

Wilbur: Fine, you can run against me, it won't end well for you but you can give it a go.

Wilbur: Wait, look who’s coming, look who’s coming.

Tommy: Uh oh!

Wilbur: My son. My boy.

Tommy: Your ex-son.

Wilbur: Yeah. Well, I mean, he’s still my son in blood, but, he’s just…

Tommy: You should put him up.

Wilbur: What d’you mean, put him up? What, for adoption?

Tubbo: For adoption.

Tommy: Yeah. You should see if Big Q will adopt him.

[They discuss Fundy’s Twitch Prime cape. He runs up on stage, to the microphone, and starts punching the air. He’s not in the same vc as them.]

Wilbur: What’s he doing, what’s he doing- what is this? What is this bit? What is he doing?

Tommy: What the fuck are you- no.

Wilbur: He’s just not- he’s not- he’s really upsetting me.

Tommy: Just- just- he’s not President is he? He’s got no manners, he has no manners. No etiquette.

Wilbur: Look, he’s supposed to be my son.

[Wilbur types in chat: “fundy talk to me” and Fundy immediately leaves the game.]

Tubbo: He is trying.

Tommy: Tubbo, you’re gonna get murdered, my friend.

Wilbutr: He said, he said, “I am here for the Presidencialcy-” He just left.

Tommy: And then he- [sighs] I’m so sorry you have to deal with him.

W: I don’t- I- It’s really sad, like I… Honestly, I- when he turned around to me and he said he wasn’t gonna vote for me, and then he decided he was gonna vote for the opposition, and then he decided he was gonna run against me, that was- one of those was the straw that broke my back. I’m not sure which one- I’m still contemplating which one was the- are you listening?

[Tommy has jumped off the podium to join Tubbo in the audience.]

Tpmmy: Yeah, I’m going down to Tubbo, I just- I’m just letting you vent, Wilbur, I want you to have time to vent.

Wilbur: Yeah I just- I miss me son! I miss me son! I miss when he was my boy! Do you remember when he was my boy?

Tommy: Yeah, I’m not really good at handling… People who are emotional.

Wilbur also didn’t know anything about the denouncement situation,

Sapnap: “Will you continue to have your son banished from L’Manberg if I vote for you?”

Wilbur: “My son. My- My son. Look, we’re talking about politics here, I don’t want to talk about my family, if that’s alright. … I would like to say, thank you, Sapnap, for the question, I very much appreciate it, but I’m not gonna be fielding responses about my family situation, thank you.” (Alivebur)

*Wilbur proceeds to step off the podium and cry*

Wilbur: “Fundy...!”

Besides that fundamenatally Fundys and Wilburs views about the presidency oppose eachother,

“Tommy, I’m- I’m- I’m- I don’t know what to do, Tommy, I’ve never not been President.”

Fundy sees Wilbur and L'manburg as two separate things that he has to unfiairly contest with and for

1. for Wilbur because of his fears, for a place among L’manburg members

2. Because He wants to prove himself to himself. he needs to know what Tommy said, isn’t true/he can thrive regardless without his fathers support he can still be a great member of L’manburg and even a president

Wilbur sees himself as inherently connected trough L’manburg with everyone to the point that he thinks that without his position he cant do anything for his loved ones/ he wont be usefull. he thinks of l’manburg as something he does FOR all of them including Fundy.

“My son… My son is tearing down the walls, in front of me! My son is tearing down the walls in front of me! The walls I built to keep him safe! I promised him this world, Tommy, I promised him this world.”

“Fundy was the closest thing I had to something I cared about in L’Manberg, when it all began. You know, when it started, the closest thing to anything I cared about was Fundy. Fundy was my, he was my, he was my boy! My rock!”

Wilbur:"I know that feel."

This why Fundy and Wilbur clash fundamentally here,

Wilbur: And you! The father of you!

Fundy: That's irrelevant. To-

Wilbur: No it's not irrelevant! It's very relevant to this!

Fundy: I don't- i don't think that's relevant to presidency

Part 4 Tommy WHY? (he is propably protective and and a tiny bit jealous )

Besides Tommy genuinely wanting to get more votes during the dennoucemnt situation, his seconddary motive was well, he was protective over Wilbur, he noticed that what Fundy did during the debate hurt Wilbur, and kept acting bitter towards him from then on. ( “ I saw how asshole-y and bratty you were acting in the courtroom the other night.” / And then he- [sighs] I’m so sorry you have to deal with him.” )

the he a was tiny bit jealous point IS more up in the air but we can compare this to how Tommy acted towards Ranboo just after leaving prison, when he learned of the c!beeduo marriage.

Reasons I think the Dsmp is so great

I think the Dream smp is a master piece, everything has flaws, but this series just blows me away. I wanted to write about some of my favorite points, aspects, and observations from being a fan of this community.

Remember these are my opinions/interpretations :)

My first point is the idea of a main character. Yes there do seem to be characters that take the center stage a lot more then others, and then people who chose to take a supporting role from the sides, but depending on who you watch, there is no main character. Dream and Tommy are the closest we have to “main characters”, but I would rather call then “the core characters”. They are at the core, the base, of all the plot points. They are the string that brings all the plot and characters together. Niki and Jack decide to make their lives around ruining Tommy, they decide to make him “the center of attention”. Tommy’s character isn’t trying to be the “hero” or main character, but everyone else seems to view him as such and so revolve around him. Coming back to this point soon.

The next point is the perspectives. Dsmp is so cool with all of it’s different perspectives, different characters to watch through. It would be helpful to watch or know what’s happening in all the perspectives, but you don’t need to and sometimes can’t, it just might help make some things make more sense. Say you are a Tommyinnit watcher, you only watch him, and you see what c!Jackmanifold is doing, you might feel he is being a jerk for no reason. But then once you go to Jack’s stream, you are transformed into another world/literal perspective, and get to see his reasons and motivations. Hear his points on why it is what he does, and it does make sense. Another case of where watching multiple perspectives is helpful is that not everyone is always streaming, so the character could pop up in someone else stream. Like yesterday during the prison break, there were five different stories going on from different perspectives. If you were watching Niki, you watched her stream, it all goes dandy, and then she ends. But little do you know that she is over on Jack’s stream now doing some serious lore with him, and if you didn’t know you might show up to one of her streams and be confused with the progression. And if you only watched Niki, you won’t know what happened to Dream, Techno’s resolve with Tubbo, what Tommy is doing, that Punz is a spy, or anything that was happing with Ghostboo.

Now with both of my pre-existing points, I want to bring back “main characters”. The main character is really who you are watching, everyone is their own main character in their world. Tommy is the main character in his world, and the core in others. But in Jack’s world Jack is the main character, and Tommy is a protagonist, antagonist, and foil to help Jack’s character grow. Tubbo’s character has been through so much, he is the main character in his world. I think one of my favorite characters that people often over look is Fundy.

Fundy’s character has so much potential, has been through so much, and can’t ever seem to catch a break. L’manberg and Wilbur failed him, left him. He struggles trying to fit somewhere and step up. He is always struggling with his turmoil with Wil, and trying to find a home. He tried to make it work with Ghostbur but no, tried with Phil but no, tried with Eret but that still went south. Fundy also suffers from horrible nightmares, and after there seemed to be nothing left for him he left the inner smp. He lived in the woods for a bit until Quackity came and told him he could be part of their family in Las Nevadas. Obviously my key points don’t do justice to the character, but it is just important to see how complicated and complex all these characters are, and that they all have their own stories, and are all their own main characters.

I love how all the characters have flaws and are morally grey. Tommy is not saint, he tries and does do good but it often gets over shadowed by his “annoying” personality or pranks. Jack is not a villain, he may have his “Be Worse”. but that’s only because he thinks it’s the only way for people to pay mind to him, and he doesn’t want to be ignored. Jack has a lot of valid reasons for hating Tommy, but not all of them are completely great, and he doesn’t go about it in the right ways. Phil and Techno had good intentions when they destroyed L’manberg, but they didn’t understand what L’manberg really was. So from their side they did something great, from another they ruined a home.

I don’t like flat out dry villains. So I like to view that Dream does have a motivation and reason for what he does and how he became this way. I don’t like a villain being a villain just for the sake of it and cause “oh I’m evil.” Even if Dream’s motivation isn’t good, all that matters to me is that he has one. I love the idea of the “one big happy Family” motivation. That Dream originally wanted the server for people to come together and be a family, but Tommy and co. came along and messed with it. From Dream’s perspective in the beginning Wilbur and Tommy were trying to disrupt his land and his happy family, being antagonists, so he had to fight them to keep the server in check. But eventually down the line he lost himself, the “one big happy family” became bad and corrupt, and he started seeking out power and more control leading him to be the villain he became.

The dsmp is great because they are not perfect, and they are real people playing these characters making them all the more relatable. The characters are not perfect, and the cc make mistakes that make the experience all the more enjoyable. All the characters have their own flaws, and their own story to tell, and it is awesome to find all the different stories that are taking place within the world.

Looking back on Phil's actions now that we know Wilbur lied to him

So if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend going and watching the first hour or so of Phil's stream from today, 5/3. He gives us some lore, which initially we expected to only be about Phil breaking the news to Fundy about Wilbur's revival. But halfway through Phil drops some news that has completely changed everything about his feelings and relationships with some key characters.

Phil has lived for years believing Tubbo was president of L'Manburg since Wilbur "left to start a new nation." Wilbur told him he passed along his title to Tubbo, his younger adoptive brother, and created Pogtopia as a new nation of its own.

Phil hears for 2 years of Wilbur's escapades through mail, which may or may not include him talking of Schlatt's changes to L'Manburg disguised as Tubbo's actions. He's given half-truths and psuedo-stories of what's happened. He has no idea there's a festival, or that Wilbur and Tommy were exiled, or that Tubbo was executed and lost his second canon life to Techno's hands at the order of Schlatt.

And after 2 years of continuous correspondence it goes silent. Phil, worried for his son, joins the server only to enter into a warzone. There's wreckage, broken potion bottles and worn armor everywhere, and upon whispers from his crows he finds Wilbur huddled alone in the button room seconds from devastation. In the end he can't fix what's been done, Wilbur is too far gone and he has no idea how long he's been this way, and he takes the matter into his own hands quite literally.

He's stuck in the server now, destined to live with his decision and tries to make the best of it. After all, he's got a grandson here to look after. And Tubbo. Tubbo is the only other person Phil has canonically confirmed he's raised, albeit somewhat reluctantly. Wilbur is his only biological son, but he took Tubbo in when he found him on the roadside. Tommy was sort of part of the household, but he says he raised himself and doesn't view Phil as a father figure, like Wilbur and Tubbo both have.

The start is rough, but he helps rebuild L'Manburg despite not knowing the full story of what happened, and Tubbo is so withdrawn into himself he doesn't explain a thing. Phil's left with nothing but the letters to think back on, and in the end draws the conclusion that Tubbo became corrupted, and was the reason for Wilbur's descent. He never learns about Tubbo's role as a spy, or the pain he suffered under Schlatt, or even him losing his second canon life to Phil's close friend Techno.

So when Phil finds out about the Butcher Army, of course he thinks it's too far. He has no reason to believe Techno is deserving of any of this, we don't even get confirmation of if he really knew what happened with the Withers after Wilbur died. As far as Phil seems to know, Techno helped Wilbur and then moved away after L'Manburg was blown up. It only helps to paint Tubbo in a terrible light, like a tyrant using his power to hurt innocent civilians, when in reality he was enacting justice for both himself and the nation he was forced into running. He seems like an unfeeling monster when he exiles Tommy for the good of the nation, when in reality he had no other choice.

It also means he doesn't understand the true connection between Tubbo and Tommy, and how it's been strengthened through their mutual trauma and experiences. So it feels ridiculous to him for Tommy to choose Tubbo over Techno after Techno admits he wants to destroy L'Manburg again. Phil can't see why it means so much to them, he doesn't know how hard they fought to take it back, the pain they suffered to reclaim and rebuild, for years.

And in the end he takes Techno's side because in regards to what he was told in Wilbur's letters, Tubbo wasn't fit to be a president. He was a monster, who abused his power and hurt others, and that's why he thought destroying L'Manburg would teach him a well-needed lesson. Even after it's chunk errored to the point of no return Phil keeps a very negative relationship with Tubbo, the two never crossing paths willingly until months later when Ranboo invites Phil and Fundy to meet Michael.

Phil takes his anger out on Fundy at one point during the visit and Tubbo asks why Phil isn't treating him the same way. At that point Phil tells him he hasn't forgotten and Tubbo's got a lot to do to make it up to him. When he first said this as a viewer it felt almost ridiculous, what would Tubbo possibly have to apologize for that couldn't be made up for with the annihilation of his country? But knowing now that he thinks Tubbo was at fault for Wilbur's downfall, for L'Manburg's first destruction? It makes so much more sense why he'd feel he was owed something.

A few days later the Syndicate investigate Snowchester and Tubbo complies completely, and in the end Phil praises him, saying it seems like he's "reformed" and made some changes. Again, looking back on it now with the knowledge that Phil thought Tubbo's been president for years and running L'Manburg into the ground? I can understand why he thought Tubbo needed to answer for things.

We ended the stream today finding out Phil knows hardly anything about the reality of L'Manburg and the SMP's history, and the biggest things he just found out are that Pogtopia was Wilbur's exile, Schlatt was the actual president who brought things to ruin, and that Tubbo was executed at some point during this time. He still has no clue Tubbo's true role in things, nor does he know who killed him.

I'm hoping with this train of plot we'll be getting a lot more of Phil piecing the puzzle that was Wilbur's time in exile together, and perhaps him finding out who took Tubbo's life and why. We also learned recently Ranboo doesn't know Tubbo died during the festival as Tubbo specifically left that part of the story out. It would be amazing to see them both finding out and confronting Techno about the truth.

Before this stream I've always considered myself a casual c!Philza anti. His motives didn't make sense to me, he felt cruel and over the top with what he did to Tubbo and L'Manburg. This stream has answered so many questions I didn't even know I had, and opened the door to many more questions that need to be answered.
