A fun night with friends gets tense as Jack x Reader fight and make up 😈 👶🏼

It seems like with a new baby all you had done for weeks is breastfeed and sleep. Jack took time off but was busy with diaper changes and doing extra work around the house. Jack didn’t want any nannies. He stayed up at night with daughter Ella who insisted on waking up at 3AM to be entertained.

Both of you had been so consumed with baby Ella you were completely off the grid. Neither of you knew what day it was. Jack decided to have the guys over for a games night. That way he could have some fun and still be with you and Ella.

“Can you get that babe? I’m just changing Ella” Jack called out to you as you were making your famous appetizers and putting out chips and beer for the guys.

You opened the door to 10 guys looking at you with huge smiles. They were being all quiet to not disturb little Ella. One by one they creeped in silently and hugged you.

“Guys she’s awake. This isn’t a library you know.” You said as they got comfortable in the living room.

“Sweet cuz being quiet is too hard.” Cope said with a mouthful of chips already.

“What up bro!” Sunni greeted Jack loudly as he came into the room with little Ella over his shoulder.

“Dafuq you being so loud for bro?” Jack said furrowing his brow as he greeted his friends. Jack was the more serious one of the group that looked after everyone so seeing him as a dad being stern was fitting. Fatherhood suited him.

“Sorry man, y/n said we didn’t have to be so quiet.” Trap said as he cracked the seal on a beer.

Jack looked at you like you’d lost your mind. He was definitely more strict than you about what was acceptable around little Ella.

“Yo bruh, how we supposed to have a quiet game night?” 2Fo asked disappointed

“K well, YOU can settle Ella down and we’ll get a good night’s sleep.” Jack said grumpily.

“Ok hunny give her to me.” You said sensing the tension and stress in your boyfriend’s voice. “I have to feed her anyway.”

Jack carefully handed Ella over. He had become attached at the hip to her. Ella started to fuss and cling to Jack’s shirt with her tiny fingers as she was being pried away.

“Alright let go of daddy.” You said as you tried to settle her on your lap to feed her. You whipped out your breast and little Ella smelling food began to cry and paw at your boob until she aggressively latched on.

“Whoah! What in the Wild Kingdom?” Urban said shielding his eyes upon seeing a part of you he had never seen before. Jack rushed over with a baby blanket and covered the side Ella was on blissfully sucking.

“Calm down you guys. Breastfeeding is normal.” You said “It’s not sexual at all.”

“Babe nobody wants to see that. Correction, I don’t want my boys seeing my shit.” Jack said referring to your body.

You rolled your eyes and said “I’ll use the blanket but I’m not running and hiding to feed Ella especially in my own home.”

“Babe please take ladybug to the bedroom and feed her there. It’s going to get loud.” Jack said. He really just didn’t want anyone to see your boob and they were choosing their players in 2K. It was about to get real.

“No.” You said flatly irritating him even more and he felt disrespected in front of his friends.

“y/n…” Jack started saying

“I’m staying right here.” You said defiantly “I don’t need to hide to feed my baby.”

“Our baby.” Jack corrected

“Is my last name Harlow?” You shot back sassily. It was making you upset that Jack hadn’t asked you to marry him yet and people kept asking why. It was always in the back of your mind and came out in this unexpected way.

“No but Ella’s is.” Jack countered cooly. This made you start to cry and Ella broke off your nipple crying too.

“Not Ok Jack!” You said as you patted her tiny back.

“I’m sorry that was uncalled for.” He apologized. You both were under the stress of being new parents and new famous parents at that. It was a logistical nightmare to leave the condo to even take Ella and the puppy for a walk. Jack was used to moving around his hometown freely, but now needed to worry about being photographed constantly.

“But it’s how you feel let’s face it!” You said standing up and heading to the room with Ella. “You’re right we’ll go.”

Something inside of Jack panicked at you saying the words “we’ll go.” He didn’t ever want that to happen. “I’ll hold ladybug” Jack said reaching for his daughter.

“She’s hungry and would like to just eat in peace.” You said in a huff and walked towards the bedroom.

“That’s actually crazy because I wanna eat in peace too.” Kentucky Boy Tyler commented with his mouth full of popcorn.

“For the record y/n, we kinda came over to hang with you too.” Sunni said “And our niece.”

You stopped in your tracks. You weren’t aware how uncomfortable they were getting seeing you and Jack fight. “You…you did?” You said wiping your tears with the baby blanket.

“Yeah we can handle a bit a boob not like we never seen them before.” Phil said. Jack shot him a look. “I mean not your boobs which they’re great, I mean nothing wrong with seeing your boobs.”

“Just shut up bro.” Quiiso said to Phil hitting him in the arm. “Y/N sit down, sometimes my boy is an idiot.” He said glancing at Jack sharply as he played with the puppy.

“Sorry maybe I’m not as ready for company as I thought…or marriage.” You said which was a shot again at Jack.

“Y/N please!” Jack said half irritated, half very sorry. He took your hand to talk to you privately in the bedroom.

Everyone went back to the game. They weren’t going to let an argument ruin their night. Once in the room Jack took Ella and put her in her bassinet. You were still standing there glaring at him. He backed you into a wall and started kissing you. All the fatigue and tension you were feeling responded immediately pulling his head of curls in and your tongues locked. You craved his touch. It had been a few weeks since you looked into each other’s eyes. Jack started lifting up your shirt and feeling on your butt. “Can we fuck yet? Is it 6 weeks?” He said passionately.

“It’s past 6 weeks we just been so tired.” You said breathing heavy. Ella had fallen asleep with a belly full of milk. Seeing she was ok Jack started sucking on one of your breasts. You moaned from how sore they were from breastfeeding. He gulped down some milk and liked the taste. “Fuck you taste so good.” He said. He felt in your underwear for a sign you wanted him as much as he wanted you and pulled out wet fingers. He laid you on the bed to enter you missionary style.

“Jack…” you said breathlessly “Condoms…we don’t want another one so soon.”

Jack had started penetrating you and paused “Speak for yourself.” He said looking in your eyes. “Mrs. Harlow.”

That was music to your ears and you arched your back. Jack went all the way in. He steadied himself by getting you in a headlock position and repeatedly hit your core with an intensity that made your legs shake and you clawed at his back. “Ughh! Fuck Jack.” You said quietly as not to wake Ella. It took some getting used to his size again. He saw you wince a bit.

“You ok baby?” He said lovingly slowing his stroke. You nodded yes.

“Keep it there. This feels so good.” You said responding to his easier pace. He slid in and out of you with ease as you were so wet and ready.

“I’m…I’m sorry baby. I got so excited to be inside you.” He said between heavy breaths.

Jack knew he had to be quick with the guys outside and Ella waking up randomly. He picked up his thrust again and covered your mouth. You moaned but wanted to scream into the palm of his hand. He cupped your ass driving into your cushiony walls until he gushed. As he pulled out rich cream dripped down your inner thighs. He went back in to feel your warmth until he softened. His curls were dangling. As he stayed in you he kissed your forehead. “Don’t ever doubt I love you.” He whispered before finally pulling out with a moan. “Let’s get back out there.”

“How was the make up sex” Ace asked off-handedly as the both you went back into the living room. He was in the midst of dunking on Urban as Lebron James in the game.

Jack’s friends knew him too well. He slapped your ass a little too hard and said “incredible.”

“Oww!” You cried out and covered your mouth as you woke up the puppy and Ella at the same time. You and Jack exchanged looks. “I’ll get Ella. You get pups.” He said.

“I’m getting more beer.” Sunni said “This is going to be a long night.”

With the rather large slate of k-drama romances with past-lives subplot going on right now, my neurodivergent brain just connected something that I've got to get out of it:

Why is it only the modern dramas that have the past-lives subplot? What? People living in the Joseon Dynasty or Silla kingdom (thanks Moon in the Day) didn't have past lives too? Did reincarnation only exist after 0 CE or something?

Dark Choco:

Considering that he was nearly starved to death by Dark Enchantress (He and the other Cookies of Darkness were only given small amounts of food a day), he earned the right to be chonky and full of food.

When he was a small cookie, he always dreamed of having his own horse to ride on. Fast forward to the present and now he has his own therapy horse named Heaven!

He was banished to The Cookie Kingdom as punishment for his actions, but grew to actually like his banishment and decided to serve the rest of it doing community service.

Pink Choco:

She’s good friends with Astronaut, Milky Way, Space Doughnut, Stardust, and even Xylitol Nova! She often spends a lot of time in space.

She is part of an astral organization dedicated to protecting Earthbread from beyond the planet.

Some of her favorite hobbies are making chocolates for her friends and going on adventures across the Galaxy.

Mint Choco:

He often teaches others how to play instruments alongside Creme Brûlée. He taught Cocoa to play the piano one time!

Speaking of which, he also makes for an excellent dance partner whenever he’s not playing music- he knows how to waltz and to boogie down.

He often stops by Herb’s greenhouse to look for new inspiration for his songs, as well as to decorate his new venues with.

White Choco:

She’s one of a handful of cookies who are of mixed heritage- She is of Hollyberrian and Dark Cacaoan origin!

She is good friends with Raspberry, Raspberry Mousse, Rose, Blueberry, Bumbleberry, and Cranberry- she even owns a Chantilly Shiba Inu!

Her favorite treat has to be Bingsu with a mixed berry syrup- which is a culinary fusion of her heritages!

Chess Choco:

They often finish their sentences- just like every twin does, considering that they are!

They often make macarons together and share them with the Cookies of Darkness, because they really do have hearts of gold.

They have an entire closet dedicated to dress up costumes, and this often ensures that they don’t get bored on rainy days.

Buttercream Choco:

He is the father of Cheesecake, which makes her of Golden Cheesian and Dark Cacaoan origin, just like Butter Pretzel Cookie.

He is super supportive of his daughter’s endeavors, especially when it comes to planning parties for the masses.

He’s incredibly wealthy and always uses his money for the greater good; such as donating to The Creme Republic’s sea cookies.

Chocolate BonBon:

One of her most treasured works is a beautiful ballgown (It was a Hanbok but purple and with Dark Cacaoan elements) she designed for Queen ChocoPearl so she could attend a prestigious event.

Her favorite part of making dresses has to be the last stitch, when everything leading up to that moment all comes together.

She carries around an emergency sewing kit in case anyone’s clothes get ripped or torn.

Choco Ball:

He always carries around a pack of gummies to share with his teammates whenever things get heated.

He’s starred in a LOT of energy drink commercials, some of which date back to when he was new to the team!

He always gets invited to his sister’s movie premieres. And that’s saying something!

Choco Bar:

She’s the big sis of Choco Ball, and loves to go to his soccer games whenever she has free time.

She always gives constructive criticism and ensures that the cast she works alongside can have a great time filming.

One of her premiere dresses was made by Chocolate BonBon! And she keeps it in a very special area of her wardrobe.

Dark Cacao:

After Episodes 13-14, he often goes around to each village disguised as an old man so he can learn about their cultures more.

Some of his favorite telenovelas and K-Dramas happen to be ones based on olden day legends and famous folktales.

Considering that he has nightmares (This is due to The Dream Express event), one of the more common ones is losing his entire family to the darkness. Again.

ChocoPearl:

During Episode 13, she had a gut feeling that she HAD to return to her people and be there for them- She ended up being right, as The Cookies of Darkness were trying to take over The Black Citadel.

She slapped Pomegranate without remorse for “Corrupting The Love of my Life” and “Corrupting My Son”, aka her husband and Dark Choco. Think of that scene from Coco.

She knows which herbs are suitable for medical treatment, and the ones which are not safe to consume. And she keeps a small satchel of them under her skirt at all times.

goblin k-drama but make it childe

♡ *ೃ༄ pairing: goblin! childe x reader.

♡ *ೃ༄ summary: a war general escaped death only to become a goblin gifted with immortality. but immortality is not such a great gift after all, and now he seeks for the bride who'll be able to remove the sword that became a burden on his chest for 900 years.

he's immortalized by the blood on his hands and the smear of mortality on his sword. where in the battleground where all men fall, where the reapers roam and take their due, where all is blood and all is dead— he alone stand. a taker but not the taken. the living among the dead. an immortal in the battlefield.

childe, the empire's heroic war general, the feared monster in the battlefield, the mortal that seems far from one whenever in the battle ground. childe, the war general, he who won many wars. he who made many kingdoms bend on their knees. he who killed many. he who kills but never dies.

winning war after war and killing men after men, it seems that as more time goes by, the metaphor about the general being immortal doesn't seem like a fanciful comparison anymore. for he always come back bloody but never as a bloodied corpse. many soldiers tried and only met the tip of his sword. the grim reapers tried their scythe but failed to take his soul, if the war general even have one.

it seems that everyone dies but never him. never him, especially in wars.

childe, the war general, who always returned alive from the battlefield. who many asoldier tried to drag to the grave, who many swords tried to pierce, who many arrows tried to struck—

who died in the end.

not in the battlefield but inside the palace, where the empress he protected resides. where the empress he swore alliance to ordered his own sword to be driven to his chest.

the immortal in the battlefield died, pitifully, betrayed by his lord. childe, the empire's war general, the 'immortal' is still bound by the mortality of human after all.

but perhaps it is due to the many blood he drained and the red he soaked. perhaps it is the countless souls he took mericlessly. where he insulted many reapers and delivered souls, fresh from the battlefield, pitiful sacrfices for his sword. perhaps it is due to the many lives he took that instead of dying, childe lived.

and lived.

childe who didn't became a corpse, a dead man, but became something else. child who is no longer a human, a war general, someone bound to mortality.

childe who became something not human, a dokkaebi (goblin), someone cursed with immortality.

childe who escaped death and became a literal immortal.

at first, the curse doesn't feel like one. childe revels on the fact that while the empress and all that betrayed him became pitiful pawns of time and mortality, he alone lived. similar to the battlefield where all fell but not him.

time is not indifferent to him. he is indifferent to time.

mortality and death is not his shackle. he is free from it.

or so he thought during the first few centuries.

childe, the former-war general, a human once, realized that he is not so free after all and that his new chains are heavier. the shackles he drag are fanciful silver yet heavy on his being.

immortality is not a blessing. it is a curse. especially when one lives for more than 900 years.

childe who now lives an era different from where he is a war general, where he is feared, where he is a famed hero. childe who is now living his immortal life as a rich man with money to waste. childe who despite all the riches, the peace in the new era where he live in, will still trade anything to find the one who will remove the sword on his chest.

who will lift the curse from him.

whenever childe look down, he will see his own sword driven to his chest. a bloody black sword that now glows with the curse of immortality. a sword that only he and another person can see. a sword that will lift him from his curse when removed from him. a sword that when pulled away will finally end his long life. a sword that only one person can pull away.

the goblin's bride.

childe who used to search for the goblin's bride for years. who would've given them anything they asked for if it means the sword on his chest will be removed. if it means he'll finally be free.

childe who failed to see them era after era. who never encountered the goblin's bride century after century.

childe whose eyes became dull blue, whose smiles became humorless, who finally committed himself with the fact that perhaps the goblin's bride is nothing but a feeble hope.

a dream, an illusion, to get him through his predicament but never save him from it.

childe who one day, heard a voice. who heard a wish. who heard a voice that is far too soft, with emotions, with hope, to be his.

the goblin became pulled by the voice against his will and met you for the first time face to face.

"damn, i wished to be rich not for a rich man. wait— did you teleported here?"

childe who always encountered you for some reason after that. whether it is in the library, on the road, in another country. it seems as if destiny is playing a game with the goblin in which he's always bound to meet this human who will not even understand the depth of his emptiness or the length of his life, his curse.

destiny played with the cursed goblin. it made him meet this human with with eyes that see what it shouldn't.

childe who became aware that you're somehow special. that you can see not only him, a goblin, but also all sorts of creations far from human. who realized that you are plagued by ghosts and chased by a purple-haired grim reaper.

childe whose blue eyes started to light up for only a little bit. the goblin started to noursih a little hope that perhaps the human before him wrapped with a thick red scarf will be the answer to his haunted soul. that maybe the person before him will see not only his existence but also the existence of a sword in his chest that no one else can see.

childe who hoped that you are the goblin's bride, the salvation to his endless abyss, and the one who will remove the sword on his chest.

surely you will be te bride to his cursed existence? all his riches, the golds from centuries ago, all that is his will be yours if you'll remove his curse. if only you'll see not only him but also the sword stucked in his chest. if you'll end his curse. if you'll pull the sword and end his life.

"is there anything special about me, comrade—"

"no."

"i mean— around here." childe said and resisted the urge to became offended. he indicated his chest where the sword that was driven on it years ago resides.

you hummed your contemplation for a long moment. taking a long look on the vicinity of his chest. childe held the excitement and foolish hope in him when he saw you narrow your eyes. you see ghosts, ghouls, reapers, a goblin. surely you will also see the sword on his chest.

"ah, yes. nice pecs."

you are not the goblin's bride.

when childe insisted for you to look hard enough, you only complimented the expanse of his chest once again and raised your thumbs up in approval.

the goblin's hope became killed, unlike him who cannot be.

the goblin's bride is a mere illusion, a hope for the fool. and childe is the fool who dared to hope that you will be the one, a human that he met in an era of peace and modernity, who will lift his curse.

who will remove the sword stabbed on his chest.

but how can you be the goblin's bride, his bride, if you cannot even see the sword that you're supposed to lift?

childe who still lingered around despite the futility of it. who still followed you like a puppy, or a hound, despite the realization that you are not the goblin's bride. that you will not be the one to lift his curse and that he should go away and find the one who'll actually free him from it.

but childe have all the time in the world to find the goblin's bride. for now he'll stick to you like a ginger-head puppy and hound the ghosts that bother you. for now he'll use the time he is abundant with in messing with you, in showering you with riches, and nagging you.

childe who slowly became attached to the human who'll only live for a speck of time. whose existence is only a blink compared to his. the goblin started to hold a little bit of affection to a mortal who haven't even lived a quarter of his entire life.

he became torn and hated himself for lingering around a mortal existence for too long. for becoming too close to a light that will extinguish before he can watch its flame dance.
