In the deep jungle of north-eastern Guatemala a 1,700-year-old Maya tomb has been uncovered at Chochkitam, revealing secrets of a bygone era. This pyramid tomb, once preyed upon by looters, has yielded an astonishing find: an intricately crafted jade mask, believed to have adorned a previously unknown Maya king. But that's not all! Alongside the mask, researchers found hieroglyphic writing on human femur bones.
One bone in particular is catching everyone's eye - it depicts a man, possibly the enigmatic king himself, holding a jade mask akin to the one discovered in the tomb. These artifacts are thought to connect this ruler to the mighty Maya states of Tikal and Teotihuacan.

Danny Pino doing what’s called shadowing the director of an unknown season 3 episode to learn the ropes of directing. (as far as I know, going from actor to director includes shadowing a director and completing a course. I’m not sure in which order though.)

~Chrysalis
Learned this word from a dream I had of a woman with the face of crystals and she told me her name was Chrysalis.
What does a chrysalis represent?
It stands for the stage of the transformation of a butterfly, where the butterfly develops inside its pupa. In Naos tis Chrysallis the “Chrysalis” stands for the entire occult philosophical system, the great transformation process, including all of its stages.
P.S. Feathers for the mask were picked up from the ground. I collected these myself from the ground and sent them to be made into a mask. These are macaw, hawk and owl feathers.

In the Americas, for example, many cultures masked their dead in a fascinating array of styles. We have this one, placed on the face of a ruler from northern Peru who died about 1000 years ago:
Tumblr media
The great Mexican city of Teotihuacan buried some of its dead with masks; this one would have been tied on through the holes in the ears:

The Mayans buried the king of Palenque, Kinich Janaab Pakal, in the 600s CE under this stunning jade mask:

The thing is, the Western superpowers NEED the people divided. Division leads war, displacement, economic collapse, forced assimilation— repercussions that generate income for the overarching hegemony. Division is their backbone. This is why any act of unity in history has been retroactively distorted to brainwash us into thinking there is no alternative to Capitalism. The United States attempted to physically divide Vietnam in the US attempted- intervention on Vietnam, and successfully divided Korea shortly after the nation’s liberation from brutal Japanese occupation.
You can read about the ongoing Korean War here, and see a timeline here.
North Korea has been systematically demonised for being one of the few successful modern Socialist states; for the crime of liberation. They are a demonstration of what anti-Capitalism looks like, and yet we are barred from witnessing that with our own eyes. The Western propaganda machine works at maximum capacity to ensure the masses are deluded into believing North Korea is an evil, oppressive regime, a corrupt government that abuses and oppresses its people— whilst homelessness is at an all time high in the United States and Western nations, with an extortionate cost of living, inaccessible health care and rampant medical negligence, Not to mention, police brutality, Neo-Nazism (like, Western-funded Ukraine’s historic complicity with Nazism) anti-Trans laws that lead to murders of Trans people, and the Western Israeli Regime’s support in multiple genocides across the globe (Mayan, Tamil, Rwanda and of course, Palestine). Not to mention, North Korea has had unwavering support for Palestine
The West has been lying to us for years about China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Palestine, Iran and so many more nations to mask their deadly Imperial ambitions, money-hungry forceful acquisition of oil and resources, and further imposition of globalised White Supremacy. We, the people, suffer at the hands of our very nations that copiously delude us into thinking there’s no way out, there’s no alternative, there’s no hope.
We implore you learn more about North Korea, and will be adding more resources to our Drive, linked in our link tree. Here’s some more resources on Korea:
Nodutdol 노둣돌 is an excellent pro-Palestinian organisation of diasporic Koreans organising for a world free of Imperialism, and for the reunification of Korea. Check out their page, and website, to keep up to date on their events, organising and get more information on what the West try to hide.
We also recommend this excellent documentary:

Because I feel like it.
Tumblr media
Yellow sky? Bare footed characters? Mostly a mess? Over exaggerating some of the Hispanic features. I saw the first episode, and it was just poorly written in general. And what mother calls their son "cochinada." Roughly translates to dirty or trash.
What's good Latino/Hispanic representation?
Colombian 🇨🇴
Tumblr media
In the Caribbean region of Colombia, they light up candles and lanterns on December 8, before sunrise. So the candle giving them magic was a wonderful detail. Generational trauma is a thing for us Latinos, and this film handled it in a healthy and matuer manner. And I love how they didn't shy away with how Spaniards attacked and colonized latin lands.
Mexicans 🇲🇽
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, us Mexicans love death. 🤣 But hey, I was always taught to respect death, La Muerte, and our ancestors. So, it makes sense that many Mexican films talk about death. But I also like that Maya and the Three have Aztec, Mayan, and Incan mythology. Natives to Mexico.
Dominican Puerto Rican 🇩🇴🇵🇷
Tumblr media
Luz mom is Dominican, and Luz dad is Puerto Rican. I appreciate a good interracial couple and a mixed child. Luz name also translates to light, and some Latinos are known for doing witch craft. Or at least knowledgeable about witches and demons, and no, we aren't evil. We just know how to handle this stuff. Plus, the owl has many meanings in Latino culture. To some, I believe the owl is a messenger of death and is telling everyone that death/danger is near.
Afro Latino. Puerto Rican 🇵🇷
Tumblr media
I am a massive sucker for interracial couples and mixed kids because of this. I was working at a hispanic store as a cashier. This woman walks past me and starts talking to the bagger. The bagger has blond hair, blue eyes, and white skin. The bagger looks at me worried because she doesn't speak English. So brown skin, black hair, me has to tell the bagger that the lady wanted ice in Spanish. I then talked to the lady in English. Her reaction? "YOU SPEAK ENGLISH!" Same for a dark skinned man. So many people skip me and talk to him in English. He's Dominican, and he only spoke Spanish. I appreciate films that show Latinos in different skin types and features. We're not all brown. So yeah, the mass diversity in this film is just beautiful. And I love how they wrote Miles relationship with his parents. Realistic conflict and healthy communication. Not falling into toxic stereotypes.
Spainard Puss 🇪🇸 Mexican Kitty & Perrito 🇲🇽
Tumblr media
Spaniards are considered Hispanic but not Latinos like Mexicans. And again, interracial couples for the win. And I love the realism in their romance that heals through healthy therapy. Many people see Mexicans as toxic, so having Perrito as a therapist and the one helping everyone emotionally, it's nice. Not every Mexican is toxic. And I love how you can tell their Spanish and Mexican even though their animals. Puss Spanish accent, Spanish actor, him being a ginger like some Spaniards, flamingo dancing, and gazpacho. Kitty, Mexican accent, Mexican actress, black fur/hair like most Mexicans, quinceañera, and I love how they gave her a luchador mask. Something that originates from Mexico. Also, my brother and I joke how we as Mexiacns can't swim and Kitty nearky drowns in the 1st film. 🤣 Perrito, he's a chihuahua with a Mexican actor. Enough said. I also want to say death is Brazilian because of his actor.
I don't know much about Spanish culture, but someone said the wishing star has a connection to Spanish culture. Is that true? If so, COOL! Because death is connected to Mexican culture. So, Dreamworks finding a way to combine Spanish and Mexican culture in one film is 100% magical.
There are many more, like Beverly Hills Chihuahua 🇲🇽. 🤣 That film is better than Primos. Emperor's New Groove, Peru 🇵🇪, and Rio, Brazil 🇧🇷. Not Hispanic but Latino culture. But this post is getting long. Primos! A huge step down in Latino/Hispanic representation. Especially since we have so many good films and shows that have proper representation.

This week’s episode is EXTRA special because it  will be the supremely talented @eldannypino’s  directorial debut! As a Law & Order #fan #geek, acting alongside Danny was a privilege in itself but working under his direction was next-level! Thank you Danny for the deeply meaningful experience, I learned so much, I’m so grateful!

what I’m taking away from this post: Miguel (and Luis) will meet El Banquero’s sister, and the guy himself probably. I’m getting more and more nervous.

Chapter 2
At first, I felt cold then I felt a searing pain in my head. When I opened my eyes I was greeted by strings of fluorescent lights hanging from a cave ceiling. Glow worms? I looked around seeing that I was in a tent-like structure made out of rope nets. As soon as I sat up, trying to regain any kind of information as to how I got here. Then it hit me. That man knocked me out! The nerve! Another pulse of that searing pain came over me. I hissed and brought my hand up to my head as a result. Gosh, it hurts. If I get a life-altering concussion then I am suing. Although I am not sure how you sue a possible undercover mutant agent.
I looked around and suddenly realized that I'm not in my swimsuit. In fact, I am in an intricately embroidered brown dress with green accents which means someone changed me whiles I was unconscious. Panic creeps up in me. What is going on?! Before I can think any further I hear a shy voice call out.
I quickly turn around and I see this light blue-skinned girl with a mask over her mouth. She called out again in what I would assume is her language. She walked closer to me and looked at me with her soft brown eyes and then at the bowl of fruits she was holding. She reached out and called once more.
"Is this for me?" I ask while motioning the food to me. She pushes the bowl to me once more. I hesitantly grab a yellow fruit and examine it. It may be poisonous but what can do I? I don't know where I am or if I can find my way home and I'm so hungry. I take a bite. It was tangy and sweet. I kinda liked it. She put the bowl next to me and said something then motioned towards the exit and began walking. I watched her until she stopped and looked at me.
"You want me to follow you?" I asked motioning toward the exit. She said something and waited so I followed her. The cave was gorgeous and surrounded by little vibrant pools of water. She walked me to a little cabin. Once there she opened the curtain entrance to the cabin and waited. Assuming she wanted me to go inside, I went in and she left.
The first thing I noticed was the murals on the walls. It was beautifully painted and upon further inspection, I realized it looked Mayan-inspired though I can't say I'm an expert. Come to think of it, his earrings and jewelry remind me a lot of the ones on these figures in the murals. I noticed a small table filled with more fruits, a bed, and baskets as well as a big ceramic vase. I looked at each of the murals and saw how they portrayed different stories. I was so invested that I nearly stepped foot in a bowl of paint. When I looked up at the mural in front of me, I saw a Mayan warrior fighting a big panther. It seems to be the latest in the collection.
"Do you like it?"
I knew that voice. I turned and saw him. He had more clothes than last time, wearing what seemed to be a shawl. "I do," I answered. "Though I wonder. Did you really kidnap me so that you can show off your room?" He chuckled a little. "No...no I have more important matters to discuss than paintings. Please sit." He motioned to the chair closest to me. I sat down.
"I have watched you for quite some time now." He hands me a glass, I accept it and hesitantly drink. Taste like some kind of tea. " I know of your frustrations with your line of work, constantly being pushed aside for a "quick buck" as you put it." He looked up at me and continued.
"I also know that the only thing that seems to calm you is the sea, the currents' pull is something you greatly appreciate. I believe this is our common interest." He takes a sip of his tea and I find my eyes lingering on his lips. "I fear the leaders of the surface are hoping to take my home's resources and my ally may not be willing to take the necessary actions to protect it. That's where you come in. If we can develop your powers more, it could be the asset we need to keep the leaders of your world from further plundering and polluting our seas."
Wait what does he mean by "leaders of the surface"? Are we not in a cave somewhere? I feel my heartbeat rising. We're underwater. How deep? As if on cue I realize that the nausea and discomfort I've been feeling were not from the hit but from under water pressure. "Who are you? And what is this place?" I ask. He leans back on this chair and takes a deep breath before answering.
"I go by many names. My people call me Auh Ku'kulkan but my enemies call me Namor... As for where we are" He stands up and walks to my side of the table till he's right next to me and staring me down. I kept eye contact. I wish I could say it was because of fear to look away but something was telling me that that was not the only reason. His eyes were drawing me in and I felt a need to follow. "We are in an underwater cave closest to my home, Talokan." He turns away and looks towards the murals. "We have stayed hidden for centuries. Away from those who seek to exploit us and what we have. But recent events have forced us to consider revealing ourselves." He begins to walk back to his seat. "Of course now that you know this I cannot let you leave regardless of your personal wishes." with that he sat down.
"What happens if I refuse to help you?" I asked.
"You will remain here till you die. If you try to escape you will be killed." He said bluntly and took a bite of one of the fruits by the table. My shoulders sank. Is this all real? A fish man and an underwater civilization at the brink of war with the world above and he's asking for me to choose between living as his soldier or imprisonment? This is too much to take in. Seeing my internal struggle he takes my hand in his. "I am not asking of anything that you will regret but I understand that you may need time to process the idea. I will give you a day." He calls out in another language and the blue-skinned woman comes in. They converse and then he turns to me and says.
"This is Zyanya. She will be your caretaker and show you where you will stay." He then motions for me to go which I do. Zyanya brings me back to the tent but this time it's covered in big tapestries so you can no longer see the worms from inside. I move towards the bed and begin to take off my jewelry. Reality starts to set in. How am I going to leave? Will I ever be able to see my friends again? I begin to tear up until finally, I break down and cry like I've never done before. I feel Zyanyas hand rubbing my back. Am I ever going to be free from this?

I must feed the inbox!! I love your work, it's so good!
I would like to request 4 and 14 with Chib's. He finds the reader after she has been taken by the Mayans and tortured for information about the club, I love Chib's so much he's such a sweet man 😍
Awww! Thank you so much! I appreciate hearing that! *Kicks feet and claps hands*
Chibs really is just a sweetheart and I think these prompts( 4:Are you hurt and 14: Please, be okay) and this situation will provide ample evidence of that. As Always 18+
Be Okay
"Guess they don't care to much about you. What is this like day four?" asked one of the masked men as he grabbed your hair yanking your bruised and bloodied face up to look at him. Honestly you were starting to wonder the same thing. Maybe giving up information would have been better than keeping your mouth shut. "If you talk. This stops" stated another man from behind her. "I don't know anything" you replied after a couple minutes as you shook your head weakly.
"Alright. I just want to remind you I offered you the easy way out" replied the man with your hair as he yanked you from the chair you were in. Dragging you across the floor ,as you stumbled and cried out as your cut up knees hit the concrete, before dunking your head in the bucket of icy water on the ground.
Once you were back in the chair and alone you let the warm salty tears slip from your eyes. You wished that they would just kill you already.
***
"Chibs wait. We might need back up" called Tig as he tried to keep Chibs from running into the abandoned building on the outskirts of Charming. "She is in there!" bellowed Chibs as he barreled past Tig his gun drawn but his mind only on whether you were alive or dead. You had been missing for almost a week. The Mayans taunting them with random phone calls of you screaming or videos of you being tortured in various ways. The last message was a link to a live feed with the address.
The image of you hanging by your wrists motionless, bruised and bloodied haunted Chibs. Please be okay he chanted over and over as he ran through the empty building with Tig hot on his heels. Chibs knew what he would find when he got to the room but it still shocked him. The room was silent and the overwhelming stench of copper filled his nose. Chibs rushed to your side holding your body up while Tig cut the ropes keeping you in the air.
Once the rope was cut Chibs dropped to the floor as his warm tears fell down on your motionless face. "Are you hurt lassie?" blurted out Chibs just wanting to hear your voice even if he knew the answer. Your skin was ungodly cold and your lips were tinted blue. "Don't touch her" growled Chibs at Tig as he rocked you in his arms. "Need to check for a pulse" replied Tig firmly as he heard footsteps from down the hall. .
Tig had his eyes shut as he felt along your neck for any sign that you were alive. "Tig" he heard Happy say his name just as he felt the faintest pulse under his finger tips. "Get an ambulance" ordered Tig as he sighed a bit in relieve.
