The one thing I remember was the phrase, “That is an English senior citizen dressed as the Prime Minister.”
I have no idea what the context was either.

Astarion (wip)
-
I started this 3d conversion yesterday and its still a work in progress but I was so excited to share this render and make my first post in the Baldur's gate 3 fandom.
For the people that are interested about this process. I extracted 3d files from the game, converted them so they were readable by blender (also thanks to plugins and programs by awesome modders). Then from blender to wrap and from wrap to blender do a little sculpting and THAN to the above used program daz3d. The reason why I chose this style of conversion is because I have a lot of assets in daz3d so if I can make a morph of my fave characters, I can use all kinds of assets and previous knowledge to make fan renders.
Anyway this is my first post in the Baldur's gate 3 fandom and Im excited to convert more characters, weapons and clothing.
I still have lots to play in the game but I was already compelled to convert Astarion, this man got me hooked haha.
Also huge shoutout to all the gorgeous screens and gifs I've seen of the game <3

Hux saw my post from yesterday. He got all huffy and asked if I really thought he looked old enough to be a senior citizen.
Bruh. I'm a stormtrooper. I've spent the majority of my life with other stormtroopers.
Before the First Order went all peaceful, "dying of old age" wasn't really a thing stormtroopers were famous for. When you spend most of your time with fresh rotations of young soldiers brought in to replace the ones that died in battle, everybody over the age of 25 starts to kind of look the same.

Hi!Leading Lights of the society!
Good morning!
O! Seasoned Campaigners
HAPPY SENIOR CITIZENS DAY!
Everyday, the world over, millions, to join there as the toddlers, with their baby steps, cross that fence, beyond which is the revered permanent abode of the senior citizens, to begin with the new phase of life.
It’s your day today in recognition and to appreciate your contributions and services to the society for decades .
It’s definitely not a day to seek some freebies or rebates on travel tickets or other benefits. A sensitive and responsive society would anyway make provisions for these comforts and reliefs as one day or the other everyone has to cross that fence to enter that phase of life.
You serve as the mirrors for future generations, who can see their future in you and realise how and what they would look like when they reach there, in the phase of life, at present, you are!
You are the Leaders not only because you are older by age but also owing to bagful of varied experiences in the journey of life, thus making you seasoned, wiser and rational in understanding the life better!
On your onward march, there is no need to carry the burden of a heavy bag of your expectations ,grumblings and hurtful feelings.
Please feel free of all the burdens as there is no need to nurse any bad feelings of being left alone, ignored or not being consulted.
Forgive yourselves and the others and let humour in you replace your ego, arrogance and sarcasm!
Your experience is your invaluable treasure, so no need to throw away on those who don’t deserve it. Those who really acknowledge the value of it and feel the need to acquire it, will definitely come to you to seek.
Please leave an indelible mark of yours on the social psyche of the society, that the fellows from the next generations feel keenness to follow in the foot prints those you leave!
In the words of Mark Twain
“Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been.”
So keep smiling, be gracious and age gracefully!
🙏🙏🌺🙏🙏

Climate Change, Student Loans, and Warrantless Surveillance
April 17 2024By PK Morgan
Sweden will intentionally miss their Agenda 2030 goals while slashing their “climate change” budget and increased tax funding for Petrol and diesel. Good news for those disbelievers of government propaganda.
Biden’s first attempt at mass cancellation of Student loans failed in the Supreme Court, thank…
