When you hug her/him

A/N: My first marriages in the game was Scout-many-marshes and Ghnorbash the Iron Hand so I had to add them :)

Aela the Huntress

You were feeling lonely just talking to the other Companions. So, you went to Aela and engulfed her in your arms. You could feel the thrum of her heart against her chest and it almost immediately calmed you. Aela froze in her spot and stopped eating the loaf that was in her hand. She was not expecting the sudden hug but she certainly was not complaining. She wrapped her arms around you and smiled at you. "My dear, if you wanted a hug all you had to do was ask."

Ghorza gra-Bagol

Ghorza was rambling on about how her lousy assistant was too stupid to understand how to work the forge. You sighed and placed your cheek on your palm. Ghorza usually complains about such things but you didn't feel like listening to her continuous complaints. You pulled her closer by her waist and wrapped your arms around her. She froze for a second before hugging you back. "Geez, at least let me finish speaking first."

Grelka

Grelka stood at her stand in Riften as per usual. You could hear her talking to customers in her usual sassy tone. You walked to her stand and leaned against the side of it. "How's business?"

"What do you think?" She replied.

You chuckled and placed your hand on her hip as you pulled her closer. Grelka placed both her arms around your torso. "Wha-you want a hug? Now?" You nodded your head and placed it on her shoulder. She sighed and held you for a second before pushing you away so she could go back to selling. "Now go back to what you were doing before. I'll see you at home."

Shahvee

You walked to the docks with a basket of flowers you brought from home. Your boots clicked against the stone stairs as you walked down them. Shahvee could hear someone walking to her so she slightly turned her head to look. After seeing your friendly face she smiled. "Hello love, need anything?"

You held up the basket to show her its contents and her face lit up. "I thought these might brighten your day."

Shahvee stood up and took it from you, smelling the pretty flowers. "Thank you..." You hugged her tightly, making sure to not get in the way of the basket. She set it down and happily wrapped her arms around you.

Balimund

The blacksmith of Riften worked over his forge as usual. The sweat and dirt covered his face as he wiped his forehead. Appearing behind him, you wrapped your arms around his broad body. Balimund tensed but when he noticed it was you his muscles relaxed. "Don't creep up on me, darlin." He said, turning his head to look at you.

You laughed and kissed his cheek. "Sorry, I couldn't resist."

He shook his head and took your hands off him before turning around to hug you back. He kissed your temple then your cheek. "Well next time refrain from sneeking and just ask for one."

Derkeethus

It was weeks after you saved him and recently starting seeing each other. You decided to show up at Darkwater Passing to surprise him. You saw Sondas but no Derkeethus. You approached him and smiled politely. "Have you seen Derk?"

The dark elf looked up at you from the ground and nodded, pointing to the entrance to the mine. "Of course. He's in there."

You thanked him and went down to the mine. The first noises you heard was the clanking of pickaxe's hitting the walls. You saw his beautiful green scales and went to him as his back was turned. "Boo!"

Your sudden actions caused Derkeethus to jump. "Divines above! Don't scare me like that Y/n."

You laughed and hugged him as an apology. "I'm sorry, my love."

He rolled his eyes and hugged you back. "No you are not."

You shrugged. "You're right~"

Farkas

The hulking man stood outside, leaning against a pillar. You set your goblet of wine down on a outdoor table and went to him. He noticed you coming closer and he smiled at you. "Oh, is no jobs available for you?" He asked as he placed both of his hands on your waist.

You shook your head and leaned it against his chest. "Just wanted to see you. Is that a problem?~"

Farkas chuckled in his deep voice and kissed your head. "No no, this is just fine."

Vilkas

The scowling werewolf stood outside by the wooden dummies, his sword in his hands. He didn't see you till you cleared your throat to get his attention.

He huffed and turned around to face you. "Yes, love?"

"Come here." You ordered him, your arms opened invitingly

Vilkas raised an eyebrow and slightly smirked. "Liking your role as Harbinger I see?"

You glared at him and put your arms down, rolling your eyes. "Oh nevermind!"

Before you could walk away, Vilkas grabbed your waist. "Ah ah, I didn't say I didn't want a hug from you." He held onto you as he put his chin on the top of your head.

Scout-many-marshes

You could see Scout carrying chopped wood at the docks. You walked to the Argonian and his eyes softened as a loving smile spread across his face. "Hello dearest, how are you this evening?"

"I'm doing just fine. I can help you if you want." You said, motioning to the pile in his arms.

"Oh no I can handle it, love." He responded.

You frowned at him and took some of the wood from him. "No, I'm helping. Even if you like it or not. Now let's get this done before dark." Scout smiled and nodded.

After you too got done, you hugged him and kissed his scaly jaw. "Now sleep well, sweetheart." He nodded with a sweet smile and grazed his clawed hand over the spot you kissed. He definitely will sleep good tonight.

Ghnorbash the Iron Hand

You arrived at the orc stronghold he lived in, Dushnikh Yal. Pushing open the large logged doors, you saw Ghnorbash slicing his weapon in the air and hitting the wooden dummy in front of him. "Ghnorbash!" Your orc warrior looked at the entrance and a small smile graced his lips. He unsheethed his sword and watched as you came closer. If he wasn't strong and sturdy, he would have been knocked down by how fast you jumped on him.

"Excited are we, my love?" He asked jokingly.

You smiled and kept your arms around him. "Mhm."

Ghnorbash picked you up and laughed at the surprise noise you made. "Yes, I can tell." He held you in a tight grip, but not enough to hurt or bruise. His tusked teeth grazed your face as he kissed right below your ear.

Brynjolf

Your mood was down so you went to the man who you loved. This cocky bastard grinned in amusement as he felt your hands cling to the clothing he was wearing. "Feeling lonely lass?" You nodded and he took your hand, intertwining your fingers with his. "Well we can't have that." He gently picked you up and ignored the looks from the other thieves guild members. You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your head on his chest.

He carried you to the shared bedroom that you guys had built in for when you would need to stay in the Thieves Guild hideout for any reason. He layed you down on the bed then slid in with you, pulling you close to his body. "I'll lay here with you 'til I'm needed."

Cicero

The murderous jester chuckled his little weird laugh and hugged you back with a big grin. "Is my Y/n needing love?" No matter your response, he held you tighter and closer, enjoying your warmth. "Cicero will hug away your worries, oh yes!"

You just sighed and let him be happy as he continued holding you close. You eventually had to leave for a job so he groaned but knew you had to do your work so he let you go. He kissed your nose and told you to get him if needed, placing his hand on his ebony dagger.

Lord Harkon

The large doors opened as you walked into the Castle. Everyone knew you by now. The person who stole the vampire Lord's heart. Eyes fell on you as you walked down the stairs that led to the main room. "Ah, my dear! You've came just in time."

You raised an eyebrow curious. "Time for...?"

Harkon sipped the thick red liquid from his golden goblet. "Dinner, my dear."

You went to him and lifted his chin. "Stand." Harkon narrowed his eyes but obliged and stood up. You smiled and pulled him into a hug. The room was silent as you did it. Harkon found your way of hugging him weird but he couldn't deny that it felt somewhat nice.

A couple snickers could be heard in the background. "Go back to whatever you were doing!" He yelled towards his fellow vampires as he escorted you out.

Serana

You both sat under a big tree during the night. The stars and moon illuminated the leaves overhead. Serana ran her long nails through your hair, stopping to massage your scalp every couple minutes. You wrapped your arms around her waist and leaned into her more. Serana softly chuckled and smiled at you with her glowing eyes. "Comfortable?"

"Very. Thank you..." You said and kissed her pale neck.

"Hey now, that's my job." She said as she kissed your cheek.

You tilted your head with a teasing smile. "Oh really? Who says?"

"Me." Serana said, playfully pushing your head away from her neck.

Scouts-Many-Marshes for the character ask thing! I am looking for some inspiration considering that he will have a big role in my wip.

First impression: A friendly face in Windhelm!

Impression now: One of the most interesting guys in Windhelm. He has things to say, ranging from his usual cheerful disposition and openness to all people, to his pretty caustic remarks about Ulfric Stormcloak's death. (I hope in his next life, he's reborn as an Argonian forced to live in a slum because of some bigoted Nord dictator. I'm joking, of course, but I'm a lot happier seeing the Empire running things in Windhelm.") He also seizes the opportunity to get better wages for the Argonians, via the Dragonborn, and hints that they've been taking some of the unloaded goods to make up for the unfair pay. He's a quick thinker. His good nature doesn't mean he's fine with being treated badly.

Favorite moment: My favourite Scouts-Many-Marshes moment actually never happens in the vanilla game. Since he never comes inside the city, he doesn't meet and talk with Ambarys Rendar at the corner club. Which is sad because their conversations are there in the files and they're marvelous. One line showing off his dark sense of humour. Ambarys Rendar:"Look around you. Don't you know what their little war is about? They want all non-Nords out of Skyrim. That means you and me." Scouts-Many-Marshes:"Oh, I doubt that very much. Who would load their ships, then?"

Idea for a story: Ulfric Stormcloak for some reason is tagged as his friend in the game files. I wrote a post about this and the resulting story idea: The Mysterious Friendship of Scouts-Many-Marshes and Ulfric Stormcloak (I'd also like to see him take on Suvaris Atheron who is a horrible supervisor who denies Argonian workers their rations.)

Unpopular opinion: I don't know if this is unpopular or just unusual. I don't imagine the law banning Argonians from the city is quite as straight-forward as it sounds. On a practical level, having dock workers and porters who can't enter the city is possible, but I think it'd make more sense if the law is that they can't enter except on work. They definitely can't stay there. Is this partly so I can still have Scouts-Many-Marshes dropping by the Corner Club to chat with Ambarys after he's brought up stuff to the city? Yes.

Favorite relationship - Hanging out with Ambarys Rendar, tolerating that grump.

Favorite headcanon - He really was friends with Ulfric Stormcloak once. See story idea.

S/O Is The Same Gender As Them

Character(s): Aela the Huntress, Shahvee, Balimund, Farkas, Vilkas, and Scout-many-marshes.

Summary: Title is self-explanatory but basically how they act if they were dating someone of the same gender.

A/N: No pronouns are used; reader is referred to as 'woman' and/or 'man'.

Aela the Huntress

She does not care that you are the same gender as her. (She's dated both men and women you can't change my mind)

Aela defends your relationship if anyone says anything homophobic or in a way she finds offensive.

She uses her title as a way to intimidate anybody that finds your relationship 'bad'.

She portrays herself as a mature and level-headed woman but as soon as you comb her hair or show any type of affection, her eyes soften and her muscles relax.

Shahvee

This lizard woman does not give a spiders arse wether or not you are the same gender.

If she loves you than she loves you. She doesn't see anything wrong with it.

Shahvee has been around Nords her life so she knows how rude they can be. So, she is not afraid to stand up for you.

She is your beacon of light, your pride and joy. The person you love and hold dear. She soothes your worries best she can. She greets you with open arms after a tough one of your journeys.

Balimund

He may not have been in same-sex relationship before but he is definetily willing to try. (I headcannon that he thought he was straight until he met the Dragonborn)

You were his bi awakening so he was hesitent at first but after a while he became pretty affectionate with his words.

He may not be a big fan of PDA but he is not ashamed of dating you. In fact, he likes to tell people of his handsome husband.

Farkas

This hunky werewolf will treat you like he does in any relationship. He is affectionate in public and in private. Always having a hand on your hip or entwining your fingers together.

He is not ashamed of your relationship at all and even brags about having such a great partner.

He might be one of the kinder Companions of Jorrvaskr but he sure isn't gonna take hate from people who are rude towards you. His strong stature is enough to scare a man.

Vilkas

Vilkas through the years never thought he'd be in a relationship, especially being in one with another man.

When he first met you, he wondered why his heart started pounding but he brushed it off and continued his day.

He was hesitent at first but he grew to love being with you. He wouldn't trade being with you for anything. Even if he won't say it out loud.

Unlike his brother, he isn't into PDA as much but in private or inside Jorrvaskr. he always has his arms around you.

Scout-many-marshes

He loves having a partner to share life with no matter their gender. You being a man doesn't change that. He's just happy to have someone in his life.

This scaly man loves PDA and anything to showing affection. He loves just holding your hand or leaning in your touch. In private, he is very gentle and loving. He loves just tracing patterns over your skin with his thumbs.

He boasts about his spouse that is the infamous Dragonborn. He feels lucky that he gets to return to you after a long day of work.

Writing for Argonians. I have mods that allow some of the base NPCs to be followers as well, so this also applies to them as well

Derkeethus

You two first met when you rescued him from Darkwater Pass at the request of his friend and coworker, Sondas. Simple enough of a rescue all things considered. You then recruited him as a follower.

He was quick with a sword and deadly accurate with a bow, not many stood a chance. He had some experience in combat, most likely from some kind of military or mercenary experience.

Wherever he got his experience from, he did know how to communicate with humans better than the average Argonian. Instead of using intricate body language cues that only other Argonians would understand, he used human body language.

Instead of jumping straight into the war, you decided to join the Companions to sharpen both of your skills and bring glory to yourselves.

After becoming the Harbinger, you then dealt with the Dragon Crisis first and foremost; the Civil War was going to have to wait, no matter what Ulfric Stormcloak or General Tullius had to say.

After retrieving certain documents in the Thalmor Embassy showing Ulfric was a Thalmor asset in waiting, you joined the Imperial Legion together.

You ended the war and protected the security of the Empire. Your efforts extended to Harkon and his vampires, as well as Miraak. You married him after all of this and retired to a cabin in the woods, living off the land and hunting.

Scouts-Many-Marshes

You found him working the docks in Windhelm for a meager pittance. He and the other Argonians were cold and hungry, making barely enough to have food in their bellies.

Despite you being a human, he held no ill-will towards you individually, unlike his friend Neetrenaza.

You were disgusted at what the Nords here put these poor Argonians through. Poor pay and living out of a small warehouse room. That wasn't fair, nor was it right.

You exchanged some rather fierce words with Torbjorn Shatter-Shield, their boss. The man knew that if he didn't listen to you, his head would be rolling on the floor of his home.

After the Argonians were getting paid better, he decided to tag along with you in your quests, supporting you however he could. However, he was still very much a newbie when it came to combat.

Both of you joined the Imperial Legion together. Seeing what the Nords were doing in Windhelm alone was enough to stir you into action.

The Civil War was long and bloody, with both of you getting injured at times. Once you two closed in on Windhelm, he left to go back to the city to ensure the safety of the Argonians at the docks.

After the war, you two got married, and took on the Dragon Crisis, the Vampires, and Miraak. After the fighting and adventures came to an end, you two got settled down and enjoyed a nice and quiet life.

Jaree-Ra

You saw the shifty Argonian the minute you walked into Solitude, looking for some person to con into whatever he was planning to do. This close to the coast, he had to be a pirate of some sort.

He enlisted your services to put out the lighthouse fire at the Solitude Lighthouse, ensuring that the Icerunner would run aground. Simple enough of a job to do.

Your hunch about him turned out to be true, when you snuck into the Blackblood Marauders' base of operations and found that Jaree-Ra was going to use whoever put out the lighthouse as a patsy.

When returning to Solitude, you confronted him, and boy was he surprised that you found out. After that, you became an equal partner in that venture.

You were rather clever for a softskin, even more so than himself, and that was a trait he admired. Cunning and intelligence was what you and he needed to survive in your line of work.

Afterwards, you, Jaree, and Deeja joined the Thieves Guild after the Icerunner situation, with you eventually taking the helm of the Guild.

You chose to join the Empire in the Civil War, knowing that Maven Black-Briar would eventually be the Jarl; it was simply a choice of business, not one of morality.

You married Jaree-Ra after the war had come to an end. The Dragon Crisis, vampires, Miraak, and much more got dealt with. Afterwards, you bought a ship and took Jaree and Deeja as some of your crew as you now sailed the high seas as a pirate.

i'm thinking about them again.

the OG pairing... they've been a thing for almost 2 years now. I've been posting about them before I got this blog (i.e. on my main). over time they've been somewhat displaced by certain other ships but these two will always, always hold a special place in my heart. after all, Taralka is my very first tes oc, and the LDB of my planned tale - and her husband, one of the sweetest people in all of Skyrim. They are both lucky to have each other.

I have always called this ship Marshalka since that is my go-to naming scheme for shippings. but thanks to my friends I have acquired a new name for them: Moonmallows!

I do hope that my much-needed fixation of them will produce something not only substantial but presentable here. stay tuned <3

Skyrim Ideas

I've been playing Skyrim for a while (on Switch) and theres some stuff that would be nice to see. I am no modder (yet) but I wouldn't be crranky to see these in the game as a mod (or Switch DLC (we get nothing (not even the new DLC)))

Relationship Add-on

Family Meal

Whilst I don't care much about game relationships there's nothing with the marrige mechanich. There's stat boosts but Roleplay-wise not much exept asking to make food, sleeping boost and extra income .

Something I would like to see is having dinner together. When your home from adventuring you can ask to have a meal together at a table. You can go up to your spouse and say "Let's have a meal together." then what time you would like to have it at. You can also choose to make the meal yourself by "I'll make the meal myself". This will give you a quest 'Prepare 3 meals'. Mainly because I also feel like the baking mechanic isn't used much. If you don't have cooking ingredients you can say "I can't make the meal" then your spouse will take-over.

I'll be using the lovely Scouts-Many-Marshes

Scouts-Many-Marshes-"Is there anything you need, Dearest?/ You want to have a meal together, my love? That sounds like a great idea./ You'll cook. Why you're spoiling me, love. Very well I'll get the table set when your ready. <I'll prepare the table. When would you like it?/ Sounds great. You just rest up, my dear.><Thats okay, dear. I'll do the rest you rest up.>"

When the set time comes or if you've prepared the meal, your family will sit at the main table of the house. Having a meal together will give you major stat boosts and give you unique dilogue. Your spouse and kids will talk amongst you or your spouse will talk to you if you have no kids.

You can also ask your Personal Steward to set up a meal for your family. And if you have 1 kid or less you can ask them to join you with "You can join us" if you would like.

I'll be using the legend herself Lydia

Lydia-"Long life to you, my Thane/ You would like to have a meal? That sounds great, sir./ It would be my honor sir. <What time would you like it?>/ How nice. That will be a great surprise for them. I'll gather everyone at the table when you're ready.<Alright, I'll make the preperations. You rest up sir.><That's fine, I'll take it from here.>"

Having a meal will provide boosts to the player. The 'Family Meal' will give you a boost to all skills for 15 hours along with extra benifits depending on what food was prepared.

You will also have dialouge conversations between the table. These dialogues will come up at random amongst the table. They can all be said with eachother such as Spouse dialogue can apear in all the other dialogues and the kids dialouge can appear in the Steward dialouge. You can end the meal just by standing up after 1 min realtime. Then just leave the home and everyone will go back to their normal schedule.

(Scout-Many-Marshes Unique) "I love it here, dearest. I do admit, I miss the other back at the docks. I hope they're doing fine without me. Would you mind seeing how they're doing for me if you're going pass. I would visit myself but it was hard enough getting out. Doubt they'll let me in.

SMM "Look who has joined us for a meal this time?"/ K1 "Father/Mother, you're staying!" (K2 "So does this mean you're staying a while!")

SMM "Thank you two for preparing this meal it was a great suprise."/ L "Please, it's my duty to surve my Thane in whatever way they need."

L "Thank youse for allowing me to join you in this meal."/ SMM "Please, it's nothing. You've done so much here, I don't know what I'd do without you. We're all a family here."

K1 "Father/Mother, do you think I can join you oneday?"/ SMM "I don't know, sweetie. Your Father/Mother does dangerous work."/ K1 "But I'm strong! Mr/Ms Steward has taught me some fighting skills."/ L "Oh, yes. I hope you don't mind. They kept asking to teach them skills."/ K1 "Yeah! I did it so I could go with Father/Mother and protect them."/ SMM "(groan)"/ L " Well your Father/Mother is the Dragonborn and very strong. He/She can protect themselves. How about you protect your home with me."/ K1 "Okay! You hear that Father/Mother! I'll protect our home!"/ SMM "Thank you"

SMM "Oh I just remembered. Some items we need."/ L "What is it I'll go and get it now."/ SMM "Oh no, you sit and eat. I'll get it next time I go out. Perhaps you can join and we'll make a day of it."/ L "Very well. Thats sounds like a great time."

(If you live outside a city) K1 "Father/Mother can I sleep outside tonight?"/ SMM "That sounds great, but I don't think thats a good idea, sweetie. Something might happen."/ L "If it would ease your mind I've been on patrol latly and found no danger in a while. I can also keep watch."/ K1 "See, Mr/Ms Steward will protect us! And with Father/Mother here, we'll be twice as safe."/ SMM "Alright then. If you can find your camping bag we'll sleep outside."
