is it a relatable experience to any other aspecs to get maybe too annoyed when your friends talk about their crushes

like i really can't blame them and i find it irrational of me. but whenever they talk about wanting to date or wishing they had a crush, im just like. WHY? ive had a couple of crushes, but even then, i don't understand why you'd Want one. like why not just take them as they come ? and think about other things when they aren't there? it's not that big of a deal

i understand that i hold romance to a far lower level of importance than other people, and that most people are just disposed to caring about that. but i just don't get it. so it's kind of irritating.

character note: when i'm feeling lonely, i like to take walks in the woods and think about my friends. i learned to make this meal out of plants i find on my walks :)

recipe: put the pine nuts in a food processor (what even is this) and churn the butter in a professional grade mixer (if your mixer cost less than $400 USD, it will not work). once this is done, realize that you were actually supposed to refrigerate the mix for 24 hrs and then just give up and get mcdonald's instead

Then you tiptoe, nudging aside his hair with your nose, and plant kisses along his neck and upper back.

But, very simply - it might just be because it's a sign of your shared home, your shared life. How far you have both come.
